FEEDBACK
is welcome aslong as your respectful and have followed these simple rules:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

Am I the only one with the sound problem, fixed my turning on GPS?
I mean, not really a problem, just checking.

First I would like to thank Jaime again for breath our galaxy note not just with CM 10 but far more then we could have hoped for by bringing all the DPI hacks of paranoid android. You are truly a gentleman and a scholar. With that said.............
I also ran into a bug when it came to the SD card. The external card isn't being read. Also when trying to restore my backups from titanium backup which are stored on my external sd . Once I press menu the phone freezes and is only use able when u do a restart.
Overall a very solid ports with minor bugs which should be expected from an initial release. Thanks again Jaime

So have been using this ROM as my daily driver since it was released ONE WHOLE DAY AGO LOL and I have noticed my internet speeds are way better on this ROM then any other rom. Including the stock rooted build. Just saying keep up the good work I went from .8 mbps to a full 15 mbps =}
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium

Agree with illest, speeds are incredible. The only problem I have is that it freezes every now and then.
One more thing, sorry if it's been answered, but can you not sync Facebook contacts anymore?

nope havent been able to since ICS or GB. there are a few ways to do it though, look up "facebook sync jellybean" or something along those lines

Been using this ROM for a few hours and have no problems with it.
Only thing I noticed is its slow in sketchbook mobile. Not laggy or skippy but just follows your styles or fingers incredibly slow. About 1 second slower from you touchdown to draw. In ICS its about instantaneous.
Could this be a hwa issue or just the fact that jb needs a bit more resources than ICS?
Just a minor observation that won't really affect anyone except those of us who draw constantly, but even then, its easy to live with because I won't be moving away from this ROM. I'm loving it.

Please note: This ROM is far from being functional, it's still in development, I'll update this thread with news as soon as I see it. For now, it's a good ROM to mess around with and see what you can expect in further builds.

~ Key Mapping Fixed
~ DRM issue fixed ( Market would hang trying to Download an App )
~ Data Working with Network Changes, No need to run other Fixes
~ APN fixed
~ Galaxy Nexus Boot animation
~ init.d supported
~ My Version of Deep Idle built into the kernel
Please consider donating to Eugene for his work or any other i9000 dev that's worked on this.
Optional Modems: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1110500
Note: You can only mount in recovery for now.
What works:
- Hardware Acceleration
- Audio
- Calls, SMS, 3G (With a ugly patch but it works, read below.)
- Touch
- Wifi (Might be broken on this.)
- SDCards (internal and external)
- Market
- Contacts sync
- Calendar sync
What does not work:
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Camera
- Video Recorder
- More stuff?
How to install:
1. Make sure you're on CM7 or MIUI.
2. Make a Nandroid backup.
3. Format data/factory reset.
4. Wipe Cache.
5. Flash the ROM.
6. It'll reboot you into recovery again and continue flashing your ROM. (It's replacing your CWM with a MTD one.)
7. Once it's done, you'll most likely get stuck and it won't boot. Pull the battery, boot into recovery and flash it again.
8. This time, reboot your phone when it's done and it should boot up.
9. Enjoy.
So we start off, ofcourse we need some files & requirements:
- The voicesearch fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...0&d=1321887896 )
- Calendar fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...2&d=1321829419 )

Please put solving touch screen bug on top priority.
Carry on!!

Wow I can't believe I got radio connection with eugenes kernel.. We are getting progress.. However the touchscreen problem is worse then the i9000 updated kernel. So we need to fix this somehow.

Hm, mind uploading everything together like you have it? So, it'd be easier for people to flash.
By the way, Eugene posted his source for that kernel, right?
And so did the i9000 kernel guy.

Can we merge parts of it that are needed, or..?
I am thinking the same thing you are my friend and yes I am uploading what I have flashed as well.. I am so suprised that my phone was giving me text messages however the touchscreen isn't working well enough to text back,,. However I did manage to text some gibberish to someone so it is sending and receiving.. How to fix touch so I can play with it some more..
HERE WE GO... AGAIN I WILL SAY TOUCHSCREEN IS BACK TO THE 2 FINGER METHOD UNTIL FIXED. RADIO WORKED FOR SMS. YMMV

Step 1 Install http://www.multiupload.com/1N4UEQKOC1 md5: 5b6918145c3b0ae90a50264da29cbe94
Step 2 Flash this kernel: http://www.multiupload.com/L4AX7P4R20 <--- you can still flash this to get touchscreen working AFTER you flash the 1st one.
You will have working Calls/SMS/3G/Touchscreen on ICS for your vibrant.
No HW acceleration yet.. Colors are inverted so it is orange and not blue, etc.. Can't use any google apps, download from market fails everytime. It is a start but not a daily driver by any means.
Thanks to onecosmic he built it on the i9000 and we ported it over. Updates will come as more progress completes.
Maybe we should PM Eugene and ask him to make a kernel with the fixed touchscreen.

The I9000 kernel booted on my vibrant, I flashed the original vibrant version of the Ics port with the miui boot.img and modem, then flashed the I9000 kernel and it booted , seems like the only difference between this and the I9000 is the ramdisk maybe not the kernel, I tried it before the updated kernel with working 3g and phone so I'll try again

Im running the new version with working calls and SMS etc. its actually pretty cool but im getting no internal sound during calls have to put it on speaker to hear the call its still nice to be able to make calls now though

Touchscreen is working fine in the kernel I posted.. Let me update it.
However the internal phone speaker isn't working during calls you have to put on speaker. Never tested the microphone yet. Maybe someone else has input on that.

Wow, slick rom.
FFC works!
4g works fine when you switch back to GSM and then to cdma/4glte.
Video chat doesn't work, but that's a minor issue.
Use safestrap to install, read and make sure you understand how to use it, first!!
Still gotta go back to stock rom for my Netflix... but I'm sure that's just a kink with the codecs you guys mentioned.
Looking forward to the 1.0 release!!!!

Now this seems pretty cool... Thank you so much for putting together... But what I would like to know is what the benefit is of this ROM over any other? It looks like it has something to do with the battery. Am I on something here?

Correct, the main focus of this ROM is definitely battery life.

Why is the ROM file so big? It's 426mb! Wow!! You should take out the bloatware.

I already took out what I knew to be bloat ware. If more can be removed then you're going to have to tell me what apks to take out because I do not own a RAZR M.

This Rom is running great! I have one question though, Is anyone having issues installing paid apps? It downloads then says cannot install on sd card or storage but I have 1.3 gigs left on internal memory
Haven't flashed yet because it doesn't download completely.

As I flashed GAPP from CM 10 everything's fine and working now. Thanks for the stable build. But I notice numbers of Bloatware still in the ROM. I will make the list later maybe in the future you consider removing it?

Yes, As I suggested above, these are bloatwares that I think no one wants them in the ROM. (can be installed later if they want to)..
1. ( anoying notification of Your simcard is from Unknown Source.)
2. Backup Assistant Plus and its plugins (Even not working with non-US device, and very annoying)
3. Acoustic Warning ( just a warning that your ears can be damaged when you increase volume more than 60% (!) )
4.Emergency Alert
5. Moto Chinese input ( there are tons of chinese keyboard outside and much better ), Moto Smart handwriting, Moto Stroke ( chinese too )
6. My Verizon Mobile
7. Verizon Login
8. Verizon Remote Gianogstic
9. Video Calling ( just a shortcut to the market to download 2 other spam software Vooodo and Tango )
10. Swiftkey flow (beta) is good but I think the one love it has already bought it and will install again from Store with their pre-setting. The one who don't like it like me will remove it anyway.
11. Music FX and Audio Effect is duplicate functions. and both of them I feel not as good as "Awesome BEAT" 2.0 Plugin from "Pimpmyride" ( I attached it to the post ). Just flash and test the result, you will be surprised.
12. Change the Database setting of ettilement from 1 to 0 so freedom the Mobile Hotspot without activating from Verizon ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2059890 )
13. Future developement can be inspired by no NAVBAR function which gonna be awesome.
14. The annoying GAPP FC, as I can see it can be fixed with the GAPP packs from CM10, you can try and test it out too.
15. Verizon Location Service from Location Setting, As far as I can see, this function drain the battery and not working outside US too.
And again , Thanks for the awesome work you have done, this is the best Christmas gift, ever...
As long as stable build released. I would love to contribute donation if you provide the paypal link on the topic .
Dave.

Keep in mind, I do not own this device, but my two testers do, and I rely heavily on them.
Either way, if you have any questions, first, read the FAQ below, then ask away, dev thread or not.
(Work In Progress) FAQ
Do I have to wipe before flashing??
Always wipe, no matter what ROM you are on now, even if it's a previous version of BlakCM.
I flashed a different kernel and now I'm having an issue, what should I do?
Boot to recovery, wipe everything and reflash BlakCM. I'll only provide support for the kernel integrated into BlakCM.
I see 'So and so" posted a fix for this issue or that, is it safe to flash that fix on BlakCM?
Please make a backup before making any modifications or flashing any 'fixes' from ANYONE. You also flash said fix or mod at your own risk..
My data [3G/4G/LTE] doesn't work, but everyone else's seems fine, how do I fix it?
Flash a Stock ROM and update your profile then flash back to BlakCM.
This ROM is for the carrier in the section it is placed in, if you have problems with data and are on a different carrier,
then you must search elsewhere for a fix or ask around to see if someone else knows.
I flashed the ROM and now I have an issue, what should I do?
Pull a logcat and post it on to pastebin.com, provide a link in this thread to it.
Be detail specific in your post. I need to know if you have modded or changed anything that may cause the issue.
How do I pull a logcat?
Check out this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1726238
Will you add 'this' feature?
Not likely. If you want a feature added unofficially, you should add the feature yourself and post your unofficial build.
When will this 'issue' be fixed?
NO ETA's.
thanks!

Nightlies need not apply. Based on the source used for this build, this would be closer to 9/24-25. Anyhow, I'll sync and compile another build tonight if data is a problem across the board, otherwise, it will be later this week.

Listview Animations? Yes. I have yet to be able to run it myself to tell you with certainty, but I was also told, that listview was updated and I am unaware as to whether or not it has been updated within this source. Either way, there is Listview. Yes.
TEST build uploading now.
I repeat, TEST.

The only issue I ran into were some force closes in settings, and cannot install .apk files from my download folder. It simply would not let me press on install. Other than that, the rom is smooth, and I love the black theme.

To side load apps, go into wherever the setting is to toggle installing non-market apps. Toggle it on and off a few times, see if that works. As for FC's, what part of settings FCd exactly?

Anyone know how clear all recents works? I pick it and nothing changes. If I reset it it will ask again but if I hit yes recents doesn't look any different or have a button like most roms for clear all. So I'm assuming it's hidden maybe or gesture based or something?

Yea, it's goofy with our phones with physical menu/home/back/search keys... It only shows up while "Immersive mode" is on.
They recently changed it to be selectable because it was redundant on devices with the nav buttons on-screen. I hope they correct it for devices like ours, otherwise I may try and dig into the code..

When they say "wipe data" if switching from a new rom, I they referring to opening SafeStrap, deleting the partition, recreating the partition, and then install or like wipe the whole flippin phone??

Just factory wipe in SS(just the initial swipe that says this is all you usually need). What I do is keep backups of each rom I screw with then I wipe factory and advanced system then install fresh rom and gapps then restore just the data from that same rom like LS or SK or whatever. Makes for quick switches when new versions come out because I prefer one big slot over several small ones.
