TX or V>? - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Very Hard Decision..
TX alredy released here in Hong Kong 4.6k HKD but i like V specs better but im in need of upgrade and its soooo hard to choose between TX and V!!!!!!
TX
Glowing Sony Logo
Thin Design
but 1700MAH battery
but The Viewing Angles r amazing
V
1750MAH Batt
Design is good but not as Teh TX
BRAVIA ENGINE 2 - AMAZING SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN
NEW S4 CHIP!
HDR CAPABILITY
WATERPROOF!!!!
Yea The V looks epic but i like the TX TOO , Should i wait a little longer? or get the TX , and i know some swedish retailers list the V as Oct 15 Release , Shud i wait until that ?
THX

The TX has an s4 chip as well.
Its a hard call though, but the V is probably a better choice.
I believe the mobile bravia engine 2 is just whitemagic from the Xperia P renamed. No different in terms of picture quality compared to the first MBE, just better outdoor visibility but dont take my word for it.
I personally would prefer the TX for the better design & bigger screen. I dont need LTE or a waterproof phone.

I'm probably going to get the V and develop for it
Played with the T today, amazing phone, very fast, no stuttering on home screen etc but I like the size of the V, it's a bit smaller, 4.3" screen vs 4.6" the T is just a little bit too big for me
They both have the newer S4 chip so that doesn't really matter. Camera is both 13mp and the pictures I've seen from the T are really amazing for a phone quite better then my XS actually
The only thing I still want from the T are a few videos recorded in 1080p in sunlight, cloudy/rainy weather, evening/low light and at night when it's dark with some lights I'm really interested in the video quality at the moment

I wanted V too but then I heard the launch date will be in december or something like that. I can't wait that long!
Trying to find T now but it's kinda hard.

I compared the T against my current Galaxy S2 and found they're near enough the same size even though the T has a bigger screen it has less bezel around it so I think it's probably the perfect size as love my S2. I'm just hoping an Xperia Nexus comes out then that would be the perfect phone if it's based on the T If nothing gets announced end of this month about the next Nexus I think the T will be what I go for.

So ill wait for V cause we have great developer for the V !! KRABAPLLE

Didn't think the V had a sd card slot. That would be a deal breaker for me.

Remember, with on-screen buttons V could feel more like a 4" screen phone. My son has Nexus Galaxy which is 4.65" screen with on-screen buttons and it feels only a little bigger than my Arc screen (4.2") while browsing.

Ur Experience and Suggestion plz!

Hello all I've been a hardcore Android user and Modder too!! Recently I got a Samsung Galaxy S2, but i'm not so delighted with its battery and the no led and few other things!!! So i thought of moving over to Xperia T, but many reviews say that the battery is too bad and also the display!!!
I wanted to know if there is any MOD that could make the Xperia T last longer ( for at least 13+ hours)
and also how is the loud speaker
so will it be good to buy Xperia T in exchange of S2!!! Need ur genuine Replies! :cyclops:
I'm finding my T very good.
The battery life is better than all of my friends. (Two of which have nexus 4s and one has One X)
The display is great. Significantly better than my dad's Lumia 920.
Sound is high quality, but not as loud as my arc S was.
The Xperia T is great. But I think you should just wait for the Xperia Z.

Thank u so much for the reply mate Xperia Z will be costly i heard, so i would rather prefer this Thank u
Then mybe you should wait little longer till you got the money to buy the Z
There somethings that make me or could buy me another phone, it's little bit too bulky I would love to have it as the Xperia arc as thin and light, the screen but that not really botter me too much and mybe the sound could always be better but not much phones got great quality speakers.
But I like the size I don't like phones get bigger except they make it light and easy to handle, don't know what the Z gonna feel like and it has good handeling I wish they did the arc desgin too with the curve I love that so much and it make it look so cool too !!!
The display in the T is one of the best I've seen, provided you're not a fan of those over-saturated AMOLEDs. Colors in the T are much more realistic.
As for the battery, I don't have a complain either. It lasts me for a full day with constant syncing, reading and writing emails, whatsapp, some fm radio, etc.
The loudspeaker is designed to work optimally when on a table or hard surface, there I find it sounds very crisp and clear.
All in all I'm very satisfied with it. The only thing that really deserves a slap on some engineer's face is the notification led, way too small and dull to be useful.

[Q] Xperia T, TX or V?

I've been using the Xperia Ray for almost a year now, and before that I had a Mini Pro. I upgraded to the Ray because the Mini Pro's screen was too small and too low-res, and now I'm looking to upgrade from the Ray because I find I need more internal storage and more power. I don't play games or anything, but I frequently use apps like Instagram, Flickr, Flipboard, Dolphin Browser etc., and often my Ray breaks down when there's more data incoming that it can handle. Also, the internal memory is a joke. I do however love the high-ppi screen and the form factor.
Originally I didn't want to go larger than 4" with my next handset, but it seems you'll only get a decent screen when going 4.3" or bigger. Also, I'd like to stay with Sony as I just love their design and am so used to their UI (despite using Go Launcher on top of it.)
So, I narrowed it down to the late 2012 models T, TX and V. The Z is definitely too large for me, and the other current Xperia models don't do it specs-wise. Each of the three has something going for it, and for the life of me I can't decide which one to get. So if you can help me by pushing me in one or another direction, I'd greatly appreciate it
So here's my list of pros and cons for each handset. They all have 720 HD displays, which is great. I don't want to go with less resolution (qHD doesn't do it, it's not a significant step up from the Ray's 854x480 display.) They all feature the gorgeous Arc design which I love. However, there are some differences.
Xperia T
Pros:
- Moderate price, especially when bought used. (I live in Germany, btw.) Can be had from ~ € 250.
- By far the largest battery of the bunch, @ 1850 mAh. (I am used to charging once a day, though, and typically my phone will last well beyond the end of the day.)
Cons:
- No exchangeable battery.
- Side flap that covers microSIM and microSD slots could eventually break and get lost.
- 4.55" is a bit large for my taste. I held it and found it tough to operate with one hand.
- Screen reportedly not very good (as compared to other models).
- Awkward button layout.
Xperia TX
Pros:
- Slightly silmmer profile than the T, which makes it look a lot nicer.
- Better button layout.
- Reportedly the best screen of the bunch.
- Placement of the screen makes it look more balanced (T has it more to the top).
- Xperia logo lights up (okay, this is a gimmick, but I love it )
- Exchangeable battery.
- Back cover offers better protection for microSIM and microSD.
Cons:
- Only 1750 mAh battery, but the difference to the T isn't that big.
- Higher price as it cannot be bought used over here. ~ € 350 upwards.
- Slightly wider and larger than the T, plus the 4.55" screen which I find just a tad too large.
Xperia V
Pros:
- Smaller than both the T and TX due to the 4.3" screen, so this could be closer to my preferred size.
- IP55/57 water and dust proof. This phone could last years.
- Offers LTE, should I ever upgrade my carrier or my contract.
Cons:
- Don't like the design of the front as much as that of the TX, especially the lack of Xperia logo at the bottom.
- Pretty steep price at least at the moment. Lowest online price somewhere around € 400. May drop once used units get on the market.
- Only 8 GB of internal memory, although that would probably suffice as I'll be using it with a 32 GB SD card anyway.
So there ya have it. All three have their pros and cons. Currently, my favourite is the TX, but that's mainly because I think it looks the best, and because it is said to have the best screen. The V however is a serious option due to its water- and dustproofing and the fact that it offers LTE. Doesn't look as nice as the TX though. The T ranks last on my list, mainly because the battery cannot be replaced, and because I think it looks bulky and unbalanced. The price however is ideal.
You see my dilemma? If I had money in spades, I'd probably get both the TX and V, try each for a while and then decide which one to keep. But as it is, I have to really justify shelling out that much money (even € 250 I consider a lot to spend for a phone.) While I am absolutely in love with the TX's looks, I'm debating whether the T may not be the more rational choice, or if I shouldn't get the V which has LTE and is water- and dust-proof when I'm spending that much money.
What would you do in my place? Which one should I get? Also, those of you who own any of the three, what are your experiences? Do you love yours, or would you rather have one of the other two models?
Thanks a bunch in advance for your help!
P.S.: Root-ability is also important. Are there any differences between the three devices in that regard?
Same dilemma that I had for about 2 weeks. Previous phones included arc s and Xperia s. I was stuck between V and Tx, t was definitely out of the picture, weird design and button layout. Look is very important to me.
Knocked down to v or tx, went with tx because it supported bands for us, if v had supported bands in the US, would have gotten that instead. Love the size of the v, just perfect.

I just handled the T once more, and 4.6" is definitely too large for me to operate comfortably with one hand.
So, since TX and V are the same price for me, and V is 4.3" plus better specs, it's probably going to be that one.
ive been agonizing over the same dilemma for 2 days. i live in USA, so none are available for me (besides for TL - yech!!)
V looks the best but is impossible to get hold of for good price. i ended up buying the T (import from ireland!) then read about the crappy screen and bought the TX also. waiting for both to arrive so i can make my own decision. will update with my opinion when i test them both out.
i stock between v & tx....i want better camera & better display?which one is good for me?
TX has better front camera and bigger screen display..
I bought a Xperia V a couple days ago- really like it. Mugen Power makes a 3600 mah battery for the V, shipping at the end of march- I plan to pick one up!

That's terrific! Thanks for the info!
I handled a V yesterday, albeit only a dummy. But the size is perfect for me, and I really like its look and feel.
I'd still like to handle a working unit first, but I'm pretty much sold already.
Uh-oh. Now the new Xperia SP got me thinking ... Same price, no sealing but better hardware and considerably larger battery. What do you guys think about V vs. SP?

Maybe.. but there is a small price you have to pay: delayed firmware updates.
I think the SP would be a better choice. Its a much newer device with many more features. (although lacking a few things)
I am also considering Xperia V or Xperia SP, but also Acro S is still in the pipe, for a much better price. Currently specs are best on V for me (size matters a lot), as it has a good screen, dimensions, fast processor, replacable battery...just missing camera button and bigger internal memory...besides a lot of SoD with V are making me nervous...
Unfortunately there is no device that has all those nice Sony features all together:
size of V (width of 65mm is also not very small!)
IP57 - water/dust proof
glove mode
wet finger tracking
sensor-on-lens & Bravia Engine
nice LED stripe (like in SP!)
>2300mAh replacable battery
Dual Core Krait (like V/SP, better SP)
8MP Exmor RS image sensor
dedicated camera button and current power button
I am just wondering when the first real outdoor device will come (real powerfull battery, transflective display, barometer etc)

Don't go for the Acro S. It's an old device. Never go for an old device no matter how worth the money it is because you will be frustrated with updates. I am pretty sure the Acro S received its last/one-before-the-last update. (because Sony support period is a little short). Go for the V then.
As for a real outdoor device, I doubt Sony would come up with something like that because the general public would not really care for such features.
I guess my decision will depend on which device will be cheaper once the SP is available.
I prefer the V for styling, screen size and sealing, but the SP for hardware and battery.
Oh, and that LED strip ... so damn sexy ...
Just got my T. for all the complaints about TX being nicer...... the T is a gorgeous phone, i actually like its slighter thicker build, gives it a better feel in the hand. the screen sucks though. very washed out. I guess you cant have everything.......
Ha! Good thing I waited a little longer and didn't pull the trigger on the V so quickly! Found a practically unused one with almost full 24 months German warranty on the bay, for the same price as the lowest online price for a new one with 12 months UK warranty. So happy! Can't wait for it to arrive. Also, since it was bought in Germany, chances are it will have the good display. Will report back once I received it.

Here's what my suggestion is. Go for the Z to get waterproof. The flaps on the V don't last long. Go for the Xperia V for waterproof and size. However keep in mind that the V flaps aren't as strong as Z. Xperia SP is definitely the best to go if you're looking for good performance + better portability. Overall, all these devices are great. It depends on what you are using it for. Also don't get the Acro S. Never buy a phone that is old. You'll miss out many updates.
The XperiaT is a good choice to buy? If you wouldnt have that phone now would you buy it again? Are you happy with it?
Just go for Xperia T and that's it.

What can you tell me about the xperia z

Hi guys. Have gone back quite a few threads in here so apologies if this has already been asked.
I am coming up to the magic upgrade date and am very keen on the xperia z. I have been on xda for nearly 2 years now and know that this community is the dog's and you guys can help me out. I know it all comes down to personal preference, but seeing as you have had the phone for a few months now can anyone give me any comments, likes or dislikes or reviews on the phone? I am asking the same question in the HTC one page as torn between the two, but keen to mix it up with Sony for the next few years. Your help is much appreciated.
Peace out.

first tell us what do you want most out of your phone? battery life? esthetic? what do you do with your phone? movies? text? games alot?
I own the Z and I dont feel its a substantial upgrade from the S3, limiting battery life from a 7000mah battery kinda sucks too.
I assume you are using a HTC Incredible S, according to your signature.
If that's the case then my experience may reflect yours.
Previously i've a SE Xperia Arc S. It was incredibly fast coming from my old motorola milestone, the screen was better, had HD recording etc. However after the ICS came it became sooooooo slow and choppy, i couldn't stand even touching it. Luckily i had an unlocked bootloader, so i could install CM/AOKP. The major bottleneck of the phone was the low RAM. 512 MB onboard, 380 MB usable due to the Exmor sensor. The battery life was poor, so was the quality of the arc (plastic cover breaking, cracks, scratches on the display, chrome parts loosing their color etc.)
Finally, after 2 years i replaced it with an unbranded xperia z. Oh god, where should i begin? The look and feel of the phone are outstanding. The build quality is top notch (it fell off a table 3 times, surviving without a single scratch). The display is incredible, very very crisp, natural colors and good brightness. If you are used to oversatured colors then you might dislike this one. Perfect perfomance in my opinion (coming from a single core 1,4ghz cpu ), rarely any hiccups or slowdowns. Sure the HTC One might have a snapdragon 600, but whats the increase on paper? 15%? You wouldn't even notice the difference in everyday use tbh. The development is also really fast. I think the first working CM10.1 was out before the phone was actually released.
Anyway, i'm in love with this phone, and if i had the chance to exchange it with a different one, i probably wouldn't do it.
I personally have a xperia z love it battery life is good screen excellent as I had a Samsung galaxy note 2 and traded up to the xperia z. I send text make calls listen to music I use the sat nav software very quick phone can't fault it even with stock rom.

Good point! I don't have the time to play games on it and when I do I'm straight on the xbox. The look and build quality of the phone is important to me that is why I have never gone for an xperia in the past and not considering the GSIIII. Camera and video is important as I have 2 kids... for my sins, as is battery life and speed of the phone. This will be my first quad core. Support is also important. My ICS is rooted and flashed so I may do this with the new phone. For all these reasons I'm looking at the Sony.

If Esthetic is the most important to you then this phone is it. If you are not a photographer or dont have photographer eyes the video and photo are "good" (low light is bad) battery life- will you be around wifi alot? if not then my typical usage is 13 hours standby and 2.5 hours screen on no wifi. speed is good no lag with NOVA launcher slight lag on xperia launcher if you have alot of widget like me. support? like dev? not alot lol...I think you should go with S4. I honestly only kept this phone because its different then what the rest of the U.S market uses. I miss my S3 a lot though.

yes i got it its fast and everything but the sony dont know how to make a software
the speaker is a joke
the headphones is not loud
and the camera looks like an 2001 phone
and its 4.1.2 and the bottom bar is too big and u cant change quick widgets
its a boring phone go for the galaxy s4
Well I traded my S4 for the Xperia Z and I am not looking. Back. I mean I do not like that I can't change the battery but that's about it battery life on this device seems far superior to everything I used yet. I also didn't like that the xperia has software buttons and take away a good amount of realestate from the screen but there is hack that makes it possible to get the whole screen back. I am personally using this hack. Now I have really 5 inches of beauty. Anyhow besides that the experia z is a great phone. By the way it wasn't a one on one trade. The S4 I got 550 for and bought the xperia z for 300 so I got a better looking better battery somewhat worse camera and 250 on top for pretty much the same thing plus u still can use the normal mhl plug in and don't have to buy the special Samsung S3 S4 mhl version. I like that. So to sum it up. Besides the non removable battery and the not as good camera I think the xperia z is a even match to the S4 in some stuff even superior to the S4.

The main issue with Samsung phones is that the screen always burns in after a while and that it has when u have a black background those visible black spots on the whole screen they look like black drops and also it has a very bad black pixelation when watching movies with a lot of dark in it. That's just the amolad screen tech. Not that good when it comes to burn in and black.

I own the S3 for a year (since it release), this never happen before, are we talking over a 5 years time span? who own a phone for that long? this isnt a TV. The black is very very nice black Samsung did alot of study with this IMO, they know the consumer love saturated picture and thats what they incorporated, for photographer this is a nightmare because we stick to "true color". In the end, they are doing this to make money, I guarantee you they make more money with their AMOLED screen then Sony with their true color TFT screen. Also people complaining aobut the weight of the S3, isnt weight was a big deal for a phone in recent years? the fact that they make the phone plastic, so its as light as possible just doesnt satisfy some people. if you want a device that is not plasticly then you gotta have an aluminum body which create more weight. I dont think Samsung did it to be cheap, just what the masses want. A phone that is bigger than the iphone and yet weight less (or the same) is a win in my book.
Just have a black picture or a black background and u gonna see some black bleeding issues. I had this with all Samsung phones and there r a lot of postings and also videos about those black clipping issues on amoload screens. It is a known issue.

[Q] Xperia SP vs Galaxy S3 Real Life comparisson

Basically this thread is specifically towards previous owners of Galaxy S3, that are now owners of Xperia SP, or people who have both and can have a "real" comparisson rather than a bunch of review sites that give too much into details, that dont affect you most of the time.
Battery life is completely subject to how you use your device, if it is unlocked with a custom kernel etc etc, so this doesn't really matter since both are around the same battery stats.
Benchmarks etc. This is again useless since one has 4 cores that are older than the 2 cores of the SP. Again these are dependant on how the HW is used and in what way.
Photos. I am not a instagram user, and I dont think i ever had more than 100 pics on any of my phones.
So... The questions that really bug me.
Are the soft keys on the Xperia SP (home, back, menu) an annoyance when playing games, texting, browsing etc.? I found myself pressing all of those on my Xperia Active several times and it pissed me off. I expect this to be less of a hassle on the S3 given the fact that its only got 2 soft keys and they are all beyond the screen.
Is sunlight legibility on both up to par? If not, which one is better? I could go with a matte screen protector but that screws up the colors a bit.
The reason im leaning more to the S3 is the already huge development scene on it, and the immense number of accessories for it, whereas for most Sony devices the Cases etc are very limited. P.S. im very clumsy, even the Active fell lots of times but never actually broke.
So, for the owners or long time users of BOTH devices, which one is better for you? Would you go back to the S3? Or are you more than happy with the SP?
I personally played around with both for quite some time, and they are both good phones.
The s3 has a slightly better sound quality and camera, although the build quality is atrocious. It has a smaller but removable battery, and a larger internal storage.
The xperia sp has a larger battery and much better build quality, although the camera is not great. I really like the light strip.
Both devices have similar performance, although the galaxy s3 has a laggy gallery.
I would say go for whichever is cheaper. The xperia sp is however released later so maybe longer support from Sony?

Both phones have very reflective screens, which means you can't really see anything on both on a sunny day.
Never had a problem with soft keys, neither typing nor gaming is affected. I play nfs, asphalt and modern combat.

I am currently using Xperia SP and my Big Bro is using galaxy s3 and we usually compare both the device in everything.
I can say that Xperia SP is a fairly good device but S3 is also a very good device for the price at which it is offered in the country today. S3 scores above Xperia SP in following things:
>Fairly better screen and viewing angles than X SP (super AmOled)
>Marginally Better battery backup
>16gb internal memory for apps and games (X SP has Half)
>much better camera, both front and back (has video call too)
In real life, i consider SGS3 can be a good option if budget can go for that.
Looks of X SP is also not that good but imo better than sgs3
Thanks for both of your inputs.
I went for the SP in the end. Battery Backup is very very very subjective to if you have it rooted, how you use it etc. I couldn't give a flying about the FFC, since I never do video calls
So, depending on some key factors regarding on what is what when you unlock the bootloader, you might be seeing the (SP)artan Rom soon enough...
Mods, you can close the thread. My questions have been answered.

SO finally u bought Xperia SP..
For how much did u get?
Got it sorta pricey, but I due to my recent problems with the Xperia Active, I decided to get it from here. It cost 360 Euros. I could find it in the UK for around 300, but then if something went wrong, I would have to pay 30 euros every time it had to go and come back to me from Greece to the UK.
First impressions are nice, I really like the floating touch. But i need to get used to it And yes, the soft keys do not get in the way, because the fingers kind of arch over them when you have it on landscape.
I am going to return back my SP to the dealer ( My Friend ) and going for S3. I dont know y but i love S3. After using SP for three days i decided to buy S3... I am a big gamer.. Can i really go for S3.? And 4.2.2 update for S3 is on d way i think.. Any advice From Any Old S3 user ? Pls ...
I think your question is in the wrong section completely Try looking in the S3 phone section.

Most games require only 2 cores, and the rumour about Key Lime Pie requiring quad core is just BS, as that will leave out the dual core Galaxy S3, all but 3 Xperias and the Nexus 10.
Nexus 10 owners will then be pissed that the nexus 7 guys who paid less will get KLP. Impossible on Google's part.

According to Quadrant, 3D-mark and Antutu, and general percieved performance, the Adreno 320 is Faster than the Mali400 in the S3 and the Adreno 225 in the US S3,
Linpack shows approximately the Dual core Krait CPU with Double the CPU MFLOPs, compared to the slower Quad core Cortex A9 Exynos CPU in the S3.
but don't get me wrong, the S3 is still fast enpough to run any game out there at the moment.
Gone of Samsung, due to their Super Amoled screens and build quality.
as fo Not being able to see anything on the SP, dunno what your talking about, the screen is clearly much brighter than the Super Amoled screens and easily visible during Sunny days.
regards

Both are good performing phones,
as for the defects you mention, never experienced any of them.
the SP lasts longer on standby, due to stamina mode and a bigger battery,
can't comment on the S3, but judging by the Superamoled screen it probably has a longer screen on time,
the Glass screen on any phone CAN break if it falls down from a height or onto a sharp or hard surface etc,
Manufacturers are yet to give us a Indestructable screen, :silly:
regards
I could either get the Xperia Sp for 0$ or get the S3 for 140$ through my carrier. I game a lot and the Adreno 320 is better than the Mali but, the support behind the S3 is much larger than the Sp. Which one should I get?

Depends on what you want! i had to choose between these two phones as well i chose the xperia sp because of the build quality: metal vs plastic and performance wich is better then S3 I think the support behind this phone is reasonable with a soon upcoming 4.3 build
S3 without a second thought
S3 is a very high end phone which was released with an introductory price of above $600.
Samsung packed the best of its features into it.
It has won numerous awards and it was once the most bought android phone in the world.
The body of xperia sp is very tempting, but trust me, it is the internals that matter wayy more.
The back camera on the Xperia SP is very bad. The photos have noise, red-blue-greenish dots all around when zoomed. I clicked many photos myself on the mobile store. The 0.3 mp front camera is so horrible, that I'd rather not comment on it.
On the other hand, the back camera on the S3 is spectacular with no weak points to it. Superb clarity and there's no noise. The 1.9 MP front camera clicked some really beautiful shots.
The music quality on Xperia SP is good but not if you use walkman. The walkman's clearbass option increases the bass, however the volume of the sound is weirdly lowered at different points of the songs. This happens on all sony phones only. It's weird sony hasn't fixed it.
Use poweramp however, and you'll love all your songs.
The S3's sound quality is superb and it is an ideal phone for audiophiles. You can check the audio lab test results in this genuine GSMarena review -
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9300_galaxy_s_iii-review-761p8.php
The battery on my S3 is amazing. I dont know about xperia sp, but after hearing from my friends, it is equally good.
Gaming on the S3 is superb as well. I have never seen any of my games lag on the s3. Xperia SP's snapdragon cpu is also very much ideal for gaming.
So the decision is yours
Ram wise the S3 is better but then If Were you guys just sell your SP save up some cash and buy the Nexus 5 because it is clearly the better one here
but nonetheless SP is better than that older S3...don't get so tempted by that bigger SUPER LCD2 screen it runs on older ARM hardware compared to the newer krait architecture our devices have
GPU wise the SP is still better and besides sound could easily be improved by installing Viper4Android so its no big deal

[Q] lg g2 or sony z1? can't decide!

i wanna buy a new phone but it's really hard to choose between these monsters, lg g2 5.2 inch ips lcd seems to have higher quality but xperia z1 has Triluminos , g2 is more ergonomic, but xperia z1 have premium look( premium look is important for me) and waterproof, having sd slot is not a big deal for me, cuz lg g2 with 32 internal storage do the same for me. some people say lg g2 has better camera some says sony z1. well feel confused , any idea? whos the winner?

Camera isn't better, they may have a good software, but really in terms of hardware:
Sony:
Aperture size: Sony F2.0 LG F2.4
Focal length (35mm equivalent): Sony 27mm LG 29mm
Camera sensor size: Sony 1/2.3" LG 1/3.06"

As you can see the difference is huge whatever people say on the latest sony fw, camera is very good and in future upgrades can only be much better.
Look and Feel and premium, mmm, LG white is nice and look a bit premium, the black one seems a plastic bag. Z1 looks more premium than an iphone, still have some issues like no oleophobic screen.
Is a difficult decision, I know I was in the middle too, but since the amount of money is quite big I thought that in the Z1: 20mp camera + Unibody is more justified.

no, it does not. i think thats a huge disadvantage.
i was torn between these 2 phones.
Waterproofing, SD Card is a big plus to me
also had 2 LG Phones in the past and both needed the batteries replacing within 1 year so an LG phone with a fixed battery is a big NO NO for me.

in my opinion z1 is better it is water proof and anti dust and support micro sd card up to 64 GB.
I actually own both phones (was facing the same choice) and after a long time of using them both I think I'm going with the Z1...
The G2 has a great (and imo better) screen, the formfactor is perfect and has a great camera during day. Battery is amazing and wifi/data connection strength beats the Z1. But it just doesn't have the 'wow' factor for me... I also have the 16GB version (only one available in my country) which is not great... Also, LG support has never been to great in the past to say the least.
The LG camera is pretty good, but gets worse quickly with less light. While still photos will be fine (if you don't zoom in to much) it will be a lot slower and struggle to get the light in.
The Z1 in the end has the better overall camera imo, and I hope it improves with future updates. Larger storage (+microsd) and a more premium/special feel. So, still not completely convinced, I think in the end I prefer the Z1 more... Especially if premium look and water resistance are important I guess the Z1 is the way to gol.
Both are great phones thoug,h, can't go wrong on either of them.

Unless you can source the Korean version. That has extSD support.
I agree with the fact that it has a premium feel, and I'm a satisfied owner of one for 3 days now. My only complaint is the screen compared to any other smartphone, as well as there's this rattling sound when you tap certain parts of its body. Yes it seems to be coming from the camera and I know most phones have a rattling sound coming from the camera optics, but I dont think it should be audible when just tapping the phone on certain parts.
Xperia Z1 is much better than LG G2. I sold both LG G2 and Nexus 5 and got Xperia Z1.
