[ROM][JB+, 4.2.2]OFFICIAL AOKP for Droid 4 [LATEST BUILD 5-23-13][NIGHTLIES] - Motorola Droid 4

****ALL CREDIT FOR THIS GOES TO HASHCODE AND DHACKER****
I saw this rom on hashcode's rom page, but didn't see a thread for it here. So I decided to create one.
Discuss bugs, experiences, questions on this thread I guess.
Installation procedure should be the same as CM10.1:
"Using this ROM requires Safestrap v2.11 OR SAFESTRAP 3.X currently. As things progress we may add support for Bootstrap or others in.
In all cases moving from ICS to JB, I recommend a full wipe and Titanium Backup restore of just apps+data.
If moving from KEXEC STOCK there might be some issues where you will need to wipe and restore. Be aware.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLASHING:
1. Download the ROM from the above link
2. Grab Jellybean GApps
3. Place both files on your SD card
4. Reboot into Safestrap by pressing [menu] at the splash screen
5. If necessary format /system when swapping from ICS to JB to make sure that GApps and other files are reset correctly
6. Also if necessary do a wipe of data/cache (when moving between ICS and JB)
7. Flash the .zip files as normal
8. Reboot and let the phone sit for about 1 minute while it re-indexes files, etc."

Able to be installed on ANY slot in safestrap 3.x.
Build 6 and on is kexec, needs to be installed on romslot-2, as pointed out by Kwyrt
http://goo.im/devs/aokp/maserati
jsnweitzel's AOKP builds, among other Droid 4 goodies: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mhmmrku5e4x8boj/hbd5BE-Nae
The rom runs same as CM10.1, but has some other awesome features added to it
If you have any questions for Hashcode about this, I think it would be best to contact him on twitter at http://twitter.com/Hashcode0f

Global Data and Voice calls working?
What are Things that are added apart from hashcode ROM?
Saw the screenshots, very beautiful.. Lot of features seems added.:good::good:

I have been running Stock based AOKP for about a week now and it runs well. The only issue I have with it is no flash for the camera.
I also have been building my own from hashcode and dhacker29 source. I noticed that the stock-aokp build on rombot is a couple of days old. Here is one I did yesterday that is android 4.1.2 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31584441#post31584441

yeah, there are workarounds for most of the bugs in this rom

NEW BUILD, 10-14, updated in OP. This AOKP build has been merged with JB 4.1.2

The ota updater is fixed now too. No more prompts to update to an older rom. But no flash for the camera still.

im just waiting for camera flash or mms to work... id be happy with just one of those

He's about to go beta with ssv3, I'm sure then they will focus on the kenex builds and get everything working.

I think you mean kexec?

I just updated to SS3 and followed all of the instructions, once I rebooted to the new recovery my phone bricked. I was running CM10 on the DROID 4 and now I'm stuck in a boot loop. I tried flashing RSD fastboot files but still no go. Any suggestions?

Just to be clear, you are actually bootlooping, not getting any error messages, yes?
Second, try wiping data in stock recovery.
Let us know if that works!

Not sure if I can help, but certainly interested in what happened to cause it. Did you boot back to stock and uninstall the older safestrap first? If you can still get to the recover there must be some way to get it working again.

I ended up doing this right after i made my post and it booted up.

I to boot looped my phone, so i wiped data and factory reset in stock recovery, which once it booted, i disabled super user than re enabled it, which then i was able to update it and get busy box installed than install SS3 and everything is back to normal

Glad to hear it all worked out for you

This latest build is awesome. I got a good battery life and smooth as butter. Love it so far and definitely my daily driver. I just found that checking global options makes gsm function. But,signal won't come out. Cdma ruim works fine.

I have stock camera working on 10-14 build! it has never worked on any previous build, I've done nothing different.
however, there is still no camera flash.

I've seen this problem on other AOKP ROMs... how do I disable the AOKP Statistics notification that keeps popping up? Already ticked and unticked the report checkbox. I just cleared Settings data/cache so maybe that will change it.
Also, how about we "kang" the lockscreen options from CM10. Miss those already.

Freezing??
Has anyone experienced their D4 freezing up and then rebooting itself?

Yup, last night when I was trying to use the Alarm Clock, and then again today with the Camera. This one has some neat features (Status/Notificaiton Bar customizations are outstanding) however its not quite un-alpha enough to use as a daily driver for myself. I will be keeping an eye on this one though, its looking very promising.

touchpad wifi fix issue

ran into an issue flashing fix located here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23286933&postcount=61 that made my cm 7 go into a loop of rebooting. Help - is there a fix that I can apply?
The fix you're referring to dates back to March, things have come on a long way since then . Why don't you make a backup of your current rom and try the latest nightly you will probably be pleasantly surprised.
I'm surprised anyone is still using CM7. I second the suggestion of using the latest CM9 Nightly.

Yeah new to this, it's that my tp worked great since the cm 7 install I never had a problem until the last 2 months, so I found that update. Where do I find the nightly updates and do I have to start at a certain one or just do the latest?
Thanks!!!

I read that the touch screen didn't work well and really liked the cm 7 but lately it's been acting up and I haven't done any updates to it. That's what really surprised me. If I go to cm 9 will I loose all my programs?

The latest nightlies can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568685
I'm not sure if there are certain steps you have to follow from going from CM7 to CM9 since when I got my TP, I went straight to CM9. But I think you can just download the latest ICS google apps file (gapps) and the latest nightly and then in clockwork recovery, do a data wipe/factory reset, wipe cahce and wipe dalvik cache. Then flash the nightly then the gapps. You should be fine.

I havent heard anything about the touch screen not working well. It works fine for me. And yes, you will lose your apps since you need to do a factory reset. But use Titanium backup to backup your apps. Then when you get on cm9, restore them. Just dont backup and restore system data. Apps and app data ONLY.
Ok after combing through this site there is alot I mean alot of updates after installing cm9. Is there a latest and greatest install walk through out any where? Also how or where do you get the nightly updates or is there an app that grabs them?
Thanks everyone, since I can't boot I might as well go to cm9.

Thanks, I wil give this a try tomorrow, getting to late to start in this now.
Thanks again!!
stayed up and took a crack at it. followed instructions to a T except did the ACMEUninstaller first. Then rebooted and then did the ACMEInstaller. But I still get the loop, it goes into cyanogen Loading... then shutsdown and reboots to the menu. Am I supposed to delete anything after the ACMEUninstaller before I run the ACMEInstaller?
Was there a Base CM 9 that I am supposed to have installed before I install any of the nightly builds....?
Also if I run the Nightly do I have to perform any tasks first or just go and run zip file from SD?
Thanks
UPDATE - copied update- nightly from notes above and ran install from zip from SD and got it going. Nice, really like the new look. I still need to know how to safely backup apps and data for future nightly updates (step by step please) because I have a few days of work ahead of me to get this back to my configuration.
PS - Has anyone tried True Image or Ghost to create a backup image of the SD and if so does it work when it's restored?
Thanks again!!!!!

No base, you can start directly from the latest nightly which is 0909
"Step by step please", if you need to make that statement you honestly need to do quite a bit more reading, and I say that in all kindness to keep you from having trouble with your device
There are a MULTITUDE of apps, both free and paid to back up all your apps and info
As far as backing up the contents of the internal SD, I tried everything out there and then came back to tried and true command line, look up a command line operation called robocopy... what you do is boot into recovery and mount the USB storage. Then there are several commands you can issue to copy files from your inner SD to your computer but the one I use is /mir, which replicates the contents EXACTLY, even hidden files, but like I said look up the wiki page on robocopy for more details
Have fun with the CM9 and get ready for CM10 hopefully not too far in the future, and do plenty of relaxed reading
One bug I am having. The nightly I was told was the update-cm-9-20120815-NIGHTLY-tenderloin.zip works fine but when I run the newest update-cm-9-20120909-NIGHTLY-tenderloin.zip it stops and states bad file. Then it wont boot into CM9. So i run the update-cm-9-20120815-NIGHTLY-tenderloin.zip once again from install from zip and it boots. I can extract the update-cm-9-20120909-NIGHTLY-tenderloin.zip and see all the files while its on the TP SD card. So is there a step I am missing when installing from zip to the latest and greatest Nightly?
Thanks
PS - This has happened on two different HP TP's I have.

As I recall, the latest KEXEC roms do not work on Safestrap 2.10, it requires Safestrap 3.x which hasn't been released yet. For now, I'd say grab an older version, or settle with a current GB rom for now and watch development.

Wiping before or after does not make any difference (though I always do it after flashing the ROM.) Wipe data/factory reset also wipes the cache partition, and, of course, Dalvik cache, so those two wipes are redundant. Any ROM that doesn't start after a wipe data/factory reset has a problem with the ROM, not with how many times that you wipe data.
I would frankly wait on CM9 or CM10 builds until Hashcode gets the new Safestrap working on the D3. There are plenty of ROMs that will work - Maverick, Steel Droid (the GB version is more feature-complete), Liberty, Bionic. You can find them here, but it might be easier at droidforums.net: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-3-roms/

I would try MavRom 4.0 (4.5 has a battery drain problem with the overclock script), this is what I use + GSM unlock, in safestrap do a factory reset/data wipe before and after flash (I only do it once, but it's always recommended to wipe up to three times).

I use the XT883 radio with MavROM 4.0 AND Kexec CM10, works grand except in JB, the signal indicator is broken, I use a Network Monitor widget for a good signal meter.
If you install Safestrap, enable safe-boot and reboot, it will boot a black screen, since it has no rom to boot into. After enabling safe-boot, flash a rom, Gapps, wipe data/factory reset, then reboot. Although you can also just grab SafeStrap 3.05 now, which is a lot easier to swap between roms for testing.

10/18 is the one I'm using with the XT883 radio, signal bars are stuck at 1, under status, signal strength is bogus.

EDIT: Mwuahaha, I edited the current build.prop (the one that came with 10-18) to work with XT883 and got the signal bars working.
Try that. Also make sure you uncheck both boxes under Mobile Networks for Verizon stuff.

Please help
Ok, I need HELP. Please be kind as I am not nearly as inteligent as the rest of you and this is my first post, but I can follow directions well (so my wife says).
I purchased a Droid 3 with black screen. Phone powers on and I can hear it going through the boot process. Lights on the bottom 4 buttons light up, computer recognizes phone when plugged in. I think someone has tried unsuccesfully to flash phone or mod it in some way causing the black screen. I have downloaded the files to restore phone to stock state. NOW my dilema..... I can't see the screen to get the phone into ap fastboot so I can do the restore. I have rooted several phones and even unbricked many phones (all with the help of those much smarter than me and their directions). So if someone could give me the very detailed steps to get phone into ap fastboot without the ability to see the screen I think I can fix it (I hope!)
Thanks in advance.

[ROM] Blackhole G2 Custom ROM [VZW]

In order to flash this ROM please make sure you have the following:
Nerves of Steel
Root
TWRP 2.6.3.2
A Current Backup
A clear knowledge of how to go back to stock
Disclaimer: Though I have flashed this ROM on my own device with no issues, and it has been beta tested there is no guarantee that yours will behave the same way. It is possible to hard brick your phone while flashing custom ROMs, and I take no responsibility if this happens to you. Please be aware that this is the first public release of this ROM, and has only been tested on a handful of devices. Further, this a ROM made for the Verizon G2 variant, and flashing it on any other version could be disastrous. Proceed at your own risk.
Installation steps:
1. Boot the phone into the TWRP recovery using ADB.
2. Choose "Wipe", then use the slider to start a system restore. This will take 5-10 minutes. (This step should be optional, but I have not tested it without wiping /data, feel free to test, but expect problems and be pleasantly surprised if they don't occur.)
3. Back out to the main menu.
4. Choose "Install"
5. Select "Blackhole_G2_Stock_1.0.zip" from your internal memory.
6. Confirm by using the slider. This will take 5-15 minutes, possibly longer. Do not attempt to reboot your phone or cancel the flash in any way.
7. Choose "Reboot System"
Please E-mail me or post here with any feedback, suggestions, and especially problems you have with the Rom.
Features:
Built on Stock Rooted base by scrosler
Zipaligned
Odexed, since this phone is a pain to deodex and no one has done it yet...
Stripped of almost everything but the bare essentials. As a rule, anything you can get from the play store is gone. Most LG apps are gone. All Verizon apps except mobile hotspot are gone. See screenshot.
Includes the Mobile Hotspot with provisioning removed for free tethering (thanks to WACOMalt for posting)
This ROM is a Clean Rom that is just the first step toward the final goal of an Aroma based installer that will allow you to build your own ROM with whatever features and mods you want. Since no Clean ROM is available yet I thought I'd release just the base for the people who want something lightweight and stable to flash.
KNOW ISSUES:
- If you wipe data when you install (and I suggest you do) you will get an error when you click through the setup wizard, but just continue and you'll be able to complete it.
- In some cases it may ask you to install the Google Play Services, go ahead and do so.
- The Qvoice has been removed, but the shortcut when you drag up and to the left from home is still there for now. It simply does nothing.
- The Help app is included only to disable the annoying popups. All other features of the help app except the icon glossary will cause the app to crash.
Download:
Version 1.0
Missing app installers:
(Coming soon) Copy these to your internal memory and flash via TWRP to restore stock apps that have been removed. Please post if there's something you need back and can't wait for the final version to have it.
Quick Remote
Stock Email
Qvoice
(These will become links as I put the packages together and get them uploaded)
Thanks:
scrosler for the Stock Rooted ROM I used as the base
WACOMalt for posting the modified Mobile Hotspot
Matt (drkow19), heffzilla, triskropf97, and sgtmedeiros for beta testing
Blackhole Universal Installer
I put together a package that will let you easily create your own flashable packages for the Verizon LG G2. All you have to do is grab any apps you are missing and want to add back from the Stock Rooted ROM provided by scrosler. Open the .zip on your computer using 7zip or your archive manager of choice. Place all the .apk and .odex files you want to flash to your phone in the /system/app folder inside the zip file. you can rename this whatever you want. Anyone can feel free to use this to package any mods/apps/themes as well, just create the appropriate folders under the /system folder like /framework or /media.

AWESOME! Cant wait to try. When you say LG apps are removed, are you removing functionality like knock-on? Or just things like quick remote/Qslide?
Nice job. Good to see this. Will try later. Thanks.

All the LG features, gestures and functionality are left in. Knock-on, Quickwindow, Quickmemo, Qslide, Slide-aside, etc. all work as intended. The LG apps is the stuff like notebook, quick translate, quick remote, email, qvoice etc. Stuff you can get better versions of from the market, or that not everyone uses. In the final rom I'll have them all available to add back, but for now I tried to make it as clean as possible without affecting any of the extra features that LG provides. And if I've removed something that a majority of people want back it can always be added in the next version.
Thanks for this, I remember you from my Fascinate days!

It needed to be. OG droid ROMs used to be no more than 200MB, now were looking at 10 - 15 times that and it's just crazy. Who wants to download and copy a 2 gig file to their phone? But with Aroma that's what it will end up being. I'd so much rather use Rom Manager like on the fascinate, so you only download what you want, but then you're downloading over a gig straight to the phone. Oh well.

First three I hid myself. Tasks and Weather will be optional in the final build.
Not sure if you want requests or not, but do you plan on adding features like:
- Black/Transparent nav and status bar
- Removal of location icon
- Remove AM/PM - Do you know if this one is possible?
- AOSP status bar icons
I am on the other VZW rooted rom in the same section of XDA this rom is in with TWRP recovery. I am not on the latest TWRP recovery. After I get on the latest recovery, do I wipe factory reset, clear caches and flash like it was with the GNex? I just really do not want to have to worry about bootlooping and such. This looks like the rom I am looking for.....thanks, I appreciate any helpful responses..
That's a good question. It is the stock ROM essentially

yes, those features are intended to be an optional part of the final product. I just wanted to release something people could flash for an easy debloat now. Since this is a stock based rom built off the OTA, any mods that work with the OTA should work with this ROM, I just haven't tested them yet. I am not much of a modder, but I intend to add available mods to the Aroma installer for the final ROM, with permission of the creator of course.

Once you have flashed the latest version of TWRP, I do recommend wiping data and cache. This should notbe necessary, but I haven't done enough testing to say for sure. If you have opened and used apps on stock that have been removed in the ROM, it's difficult to say what dependencies they may have created. If you are concerned about getting a bootloop, then wipe. If you are prepared to restore to stock with the link in the OP, then go ahead and don't wipe and hope for the best. Again, it should work, but I haven't had anyone test it yet.
And ultimately, if you're on the latest version of TWRP, I believe they fixed the issues with booting into recovery with the hardware buttons, so if you do get caught in a bootloop you should be able to enter TWRP and restore a backup. Someone please correct me if I misunderstood this, "2.6.3.2 removes /misc from the recovery.fstab which prevents factory reset when you use the key combo to enter recovery."

Is the LG filesystem any different from the filesystem on the Gnex?
If not, Ive had great success using the Android Revolution SuperWipe script before flashing a ROM. I add it as the first zip in the queue on TWRP and it handles wiping all of the caches/data/system
If I know for sure it will work on the G2 Id be happy to provide a dropbox link.
Works great but it force closed on the initial install when i tried to do the email part and the stock email app is not there otherwise so far so good
Glad to see it posted! Still running great for me, thanks again!

I don't have a Gnex handy to confirm but I'm almost certain the partitions would be different. Thanks for the suggestion though.

[Q] Blank black screen w/SafeStrap on Droid 3

Okay, looking to get more involved and learn a lot more in hopes of contributing someday but for now I'm stuck. I picked up a very used Droid 3 on Ebay and rooted it with MotoFail, then installed SafeStrap 3.05 & everything seemed fine. Problem is I can't boot into any "safe" ROM slots, it just gives me a blank black screen & I have to remove the battery to restart. My original D3 has CWM on it, but I was always too scared to flash anything too drastic so this is my test toy. It is running on the 906 with SS version 3.05.
I downloaded a bunch of ROMs and none work. I tried restoring my backup which I'm sure I saw somebody do on Youtube but I have since read that won't work anyway but I'd still like a "stock" rom in a safe slot. I also tried the official 906 zip, but also read somewhere that that only works on the stock partition. I tried aokp_toroplus_nightly_2013-08-20.zip, D3-Eclipse-v3.0_NON.zip, minimoto_v1.7.zip, & the afore mentioned VRZ_XT862_5.5.1_84_D3G-66_M2-10_1FF_01a.XML.zip but none would even flash, just gave errors. Also tried KEXEC-cm-9-20120905-UNOFFICIAL-solana-SS2.zip, Liquid-JB-v2.9-OFFICIAL-solana.zip, & something small called phablet-20130327-cm_solana.zip. That last one, tried usually in slot 4, is the only one that does something other than give a black blank screen - it eventually shuts the phone off. I read that Liquid had to be in slot 3 so that's where I put it every time.
I DID discover that I don't think Busybox was installed during the root this time, when I rooted my original D3 it was already there. So I installed a BB from Market, then went into SS & uninstalled, then reinstalled. Rebooted into recovery and re-wiped all the slots (except stock of course) with all 4 options (cache, dalvik, system, & uh, something else I forget now) & re-installed the ROMs but nothing changed.
More possible helpful info: When this BB installed it gave me an option of normal install or more thorough "smart" install, I did the smart install, also installed CWM ROM Manager to try something but that didn't work either, and downloading official ROMs through that always gives an error. Data sizes of slots are all 2GB except #4 which is only 1GB. Under the "Mount" tab, system & (either data or cache, can't remember) are unchecked, and the 3 "unmount" boxes below are checked. Using a root explorer, I can confirm that SS did "install" the roms & each slot contains a cache.img, system.img, & a userdata.img.
So, what am I doing wrong guys? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Sorry for being such a noob here, Thanks in advance!
I think I would just start over. FXZ the phone back to stock and re-root with Motofail. Make sure that you unzip the Motofail download and disable any virus checker you have. It does sound possible that the lack of busybox may be the cause of your flash failures. I can tell you for 100%, absolute, certain that Minimoto will flash on any ROM slot in Safestrap 3.0.5.
Eclipse 3.0 as you download will not install in Safestrap, but I created a Safestrap-enabled version. You can find it here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/teamhaters/210971-eclipse-v3-0-droid-3-port-11.html#post2414744
I think that the Dropbox link is still live. Let me know if it's not there...
All of the KEXEC ROMs, if I am not mistaken, have to be installed in ROM Slot 1. (I never used them, beyond just seeing what it looked like, and it's been a while since I tried.)
Get Motofail here: http://vulnfactory.org/blog/2012/02/11/rooting-the-droid-4-a-failed-bounty-experiment/
It says it's for the D4, but it's what the D3 will be rooted with as well.
Success!!! Thank you!!! I am now up & running with all 4 slots filled, currently with Avatar, Maverick, Dark Droid, and a generic non-VZW stock. The Eclipse links were down (Dev Host) but if you still have an Eclipse for SS I would love to take a look at it. Already tried the Ubuntu Touch one too, "Phablet" or something, but couldn't get at a menu to connect to my WiFi. And, since you are so helpful... I was wondering if you could point me to some stuff to read & research. There are plenty of guys (& a few girls I'm sure too) making great ROMs but they need to be ported to different devices. So I would like to eventually learn how to port SS to different devices and ROMs to SS. It seems there are really only a few people working on that stuff and that is where the help would be needed. Working my way through the XDA University thing too. Thanks again for your help!
I'm glad you got that figured out.

The Eclipse that you were trying to download isn't Safestrap ready anyway, but I created one that's on my Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hyl3gzurgh8bvdw/Eclipse3.0-SS3-signed.zip

CPL1 Firmware/ Rom Stock Plus

CPL1 Stock Plus Rom
I would just like to share an enhanced version of stock note 4 with the only "foreign" app being the grace InCallUI mainly because I have yet to locate a guide on how to make all the buttons layout correctly and there is also very minor cosmetic changes (removed words from lock screen and extended the drop-down panel to go all the way across the screen). All features and modifications were done by me using guides from @Kamy, @ikrom, @jovy23, @asc1977, @EMSpilot, @tdunham, @daxgirl, @tkari4, @Hani K., @Misterxtc and the InCallUI ported by @Albe95. Last but certainly not least, all this was made possible with @ASSAYYED's great rom kitchen and @Ticklefish's Tickle my Android.

Yes, the firmware includes everything except recovery and aboot. Also a few things I forgot to mention, the switch to turn on volume up for flashlight is in the display settings and to set the apps for toolbox you just long press on the toolbox icon (when activated) and then drag it up to the edit section at the top of the screen. Sorry guys I'm terrible at writing the info and summary for these roms but hopefully I can get it figured out one day.

I understand. Please clarify for me...
I'm on pj2 unlocked/rooted. I want to stay unlocked/rooted. Do I flash the "partial".zip, or Odin the "full" ? :fingers-crossed:
When I read through hsbdr's post's, I must have 5 or six tabs open
I prefer instructions simple, and retail and Dev posts/instructions separate from each other. As well as return to "unrooted" or "keep root" posts. Many have accidentally locked their BL as a result. There is no reason to include a "return to stock-locked" link in with a custom rooted ROM post/links. Uhg
Thank you for keeping it simple for us, and all your work!

Yeah it does get a little confusing. That's the main reason I just posted my own link just to make sure I'm not linking to the wrong thing. Fun fact while testing all this out, I was able to flash pj2 roms while I was on the cpl1 firmware and everything worked. I just tested one rom but it seems like once you upgrade your firmware you may not have to downgrade again if you want to go back to another rom.

The first couple times I tested a firmware that I made, I was terrified of locking my bl. I flashed the one I posted and then tested for downgrade and all is good, but it doesn't seem to be necessary to downgrade again. As far as differences between them the only thing I noticed was more security stuff and some different bloatware.
Forgive me...
So the "full firmware link" (download file name: "cpl1_tar_32bit_ext4") doesn't include the recovery and aboot files(?)

That's correct. If you flash it and let it boot you'll have your custom recovery, unlocked bootloader, no root, no busybox, cpl1 modem/kernel, and odexed system. That way if someone wants pure stock they can just flash the supersu file and your set.

I just tried the email zip at this post and it worked. When I get off work I'll test those others. They all should work but if you don't want to be the guinnie pig I can do it.
So oscar works? I thought it might need an update but that's good to know.
Yes, Oscar 13 works great. I'll give the grace apps a try - thanks again!

For some reason after flashing grace email, I see high battery usage for email 19-30%. Tried clearing data but still see the drain. Am I missing something?

Honestly, I only use that app when testing it and I haven't noticed any battery drain, but I can't say I've ever checked either. I wonder if it just needs to settle in. Maybe someone that uses it more can chime in to see if it's an issue for everyone. If you want to, see if after a while it goes back to normal range and if it doesn't try to get a log and we can see what we can come up with.

If Odin completed it should have at least updated your firmware. If that's the case you could just go ahead and flash the rom. All the files from the full firmware get overwritten anyway. Just make sure you do a complete wipe (everything but your sd/Ext sd) and you should be good to go.

Thank you. Yes I just restored a backup just fine and it's also showing my baseband is now CPL1. Now I'm going to flash your rom so I can have stock whenever I want it. Thank you for your time and help. And for the upgrade.
@kevintm78...thank you for this. I had lost 4g somewhere in all my flashing. I tried reflashing partial firmware and even restoring backups wouldnt give me 4g again.I was getting ready to go through the entire lock, unlock, root process again when I found this thread. I downloaded the full firmware in the op, flashed with flashfire, rebooted into recovery, wiped dalvik, data, cache, and rebooted system. I now have 4g back. I made a nandroid of stock, and then clean flashed LOS and still have 4g. So thankful to you!!

Yeah man, I'm a bit of a flashaholic too and was having the same issues a while back when experimenting with data fixes and thought that I fried my sim card. Like you I tried the partial first but the only thing that got my 4g back was flashing a full stock firmware. :good:
