Thr original cable for Samsung Galaxy S i9000 (works) with a little interference (video noise). The galaxy s plus and galaxy s have a diferent 3.5mm, if you try a head phone don´t work nice (i have bouth phones) the HTC phones works in galaxy s plus. Post a claim in Sansung facebook page ( i do several times).
We buy a phone with tv-out function, but Samsung don´t have the right cable!!!

I've read the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275999. The last message of post says that the Samsung ECC1TX1BBEGSTA cable works without modifying it. Is it correct? Even if Samsung does not declare that it is compatible with DS Plus.
So because I have tried the Samsung AATCX10CBECSTD cable and it does not work, probably the ECC1TX1BBEGSTA cable and the AATCX10CBECSTD cable are different?

U can use OTG cabe n attach usb device(pen drive) directly to note
i have this cable called USB OTG Cable .. used for connecting USB storage directly with phones .. it works great on my Nokia N8 .. but not working with my Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000 ..

I want to do some stuff at the same time with my phone.
Watching a movie from an usb stick while charging the phone.
So, I've bought this HDMI converter
When you plug this into the phone you can plug in your charger or USB OTG adapter in the usb port on the HDMI converter.
But i can't find any splitter cable on the internet or ebay so i can charge my phone and connect my usb stick at the same time.
I wonder if this is even possible. It is possible to charge the phone when HDMI converter is connected and it is also possible to connect my USB stick to the HDMI converter.
Anyone ever tried this or has found a simple micro usb splitter cable or normal usb splitter cable?
You can't connect a normal USB Hub because i can't send power back to my phone through the hub.

However I'd be really interested in knowing if those two items work fine with the Note 2?

so the i know it isnt possible with the 5 pin mhl adapter (the old one thats not compatible with this phone)
I wonder if the 11pn version does allow this. I know the cables dont exist for what you are looking to do, there is a galaxy note smart dock 2 that seems to allow hdmi and 3 usb ports, if they allow it at the same time then it would be at least possible.

Bought this one http://goo.gl/6OiGx and as it is listed compatible with the NOte 2 and the Galaxy S3 i was hoping it would work with the Note 2 as well - nope: only power OR OTG, not both.

Old thread... at least on my GS3 I have found that the ability to charge and use USB OTG at the same time is kernal specific. Anyone ever find one that works on Note 2?
Hello guys! So, I have USB otg, Logitech usb speakers and my Note. I tried many TW and CM kernels with roms but i still can't run my Logitech speakers via USB OTG on my Note When i plug the OTG with the speakers in the phone, the speakers's buttons react and the LED lights up for about half a second, and then it's like unplugged. Tried the OTG with speakers on Galaxy S3 and even ot HTC one x and it worked like charm. Can somebody help me run my usb speakers on my Note? Thanks in advance
PS: I tried on Galaxy S2 but it doesn't work neither. So my theory is that there is insufficient voltage or current on S2 and Note? But then why does it work on OneX and S3? I'm out of ideas.

I had the same problem earlier and it got resolved by changing the OTG cable. I use F &D portable speakers and they work like charm.
