How to Flash?
First you need UNLOCKED BootLoader if you want ROOT flashed via Custom Recovery
Copy OTA.zip onto EXTERNAL sdcard
Flash ICS FR SBF using the NEW moto fastboot or RSD 6
Then reboot into stock recovery, install OTA.zip from sd
Reboot, you now have JB

Notes: you still need to root the rom, I rooted via root.zip.
There is some lag on the moto homescreen, use Nova/Apex

This firmware is not for Verizon phones, only XT925 GSM version.

and also, you can't unlock your bootlocker with Droid razr HD (XT926) only developper edition :/

Correct, This is GSM Firmware.
Also make sure you modify the SBF to use the new moto fastboot or rename mfastboot.exe to fastboot.exe and have it in the same folder, if you do not do this it will fail to flash the system.img

Oh thanks guys

You will see batch file in and, rsd should work but I did not use this, just new moto fastboot
Sent from my XT925 using xda app-developers app

Confirmed! It works like a charm!
Please note that my bootloader is LOCKED.
What I did:
1/ Applied the stock ICS 4.0.4 SFR France ROM (with RSD Lite) since that's what this OTA is for
3/ Copied the OTA to the external SD Card
4/ Applied the OTA through the Recovery option...
That's it!

i can't apply ota.zip, error status 7
any idea?
thank you

I will try to rebuild deodexed version. Anyone else noticing this bug?
What's the difference between the odexed version and simply installing rooting the stock factory image and installing busy box? Seems that accomplishes the same thing but with the piece of mind of the known reliability/"stockness" of using a Google factory image. If one doesnt need or want deodexed apks it would seem rooting stock already installed would be easier & potentially more reliable than a random dude's compiled version of code.
Am I missing something?
No offense intended, I'm genuinely curious about the difference, if any, of these 2 scenarios.

Insecure boot, init.d support, no stock recovery auto-restore, plus not everybody knows how to root, install busybox and so on. And my ROM is as reliable as Google stock factory image just because it IS a Google stock factory image, no random dude's compiled version of code at all.
I've just added this ROM to the Nexus 4 Complete Index

Flashing the latest radio will NOT break sensors for this ROM.
The latest Android OS 4.2.2 Jellybean for the Nexus 4!
This is a stock build of Android 4.2.2, Jellybean, which was pushed to the Nexus 4 OTA on 2/13/13. All I have done to it is rooted the system, installed busybox, set the boot.img to insecure, and packaged up the ROM into an easy to install zip file.
Features
The latest Android OS, 4.2.2 Jellybean build JDQ39
Insecure boot.img (allows for elevated commands such as adb remount)
Rooted with the latest su binary and SuperSU app
Busybox 1.21.0 installed for increased functionality of root applications and terminal commands
Deodexed for easy themeing and modding
Odexed version also available for purists

You don't 'need' to, but you'll just be running the older baseband if you don't. Download the attached the baseband .img and you'll have to flash it using fastboot.

The 4X uses the same bootloader unlock procedure as the L9 (possible on stock version v20a and newer): type adb reboot oem-unlock , and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
While you're in fastboot mode (and after unlock), flash a CM-compatible recovery image. +ClockworkMod recoveries are, as usual, tested and recommended, and available from http://clockworkmod.com/rommanager (or the ROM Manager app, which should now recognize the model)
CM10.1 builds are, of course, at http://get.cm/?device=p880
