[Q] Question regarding I9305 and XXAL15 firmware - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

Hello,
this might seem like a bit of a silly question but I've read through all the Q+A's and other peoples questions but am still none the wiser for the S3 LTE I9305 uk version.
with the firmware of XXAL15 it doesn't appear that there are any roms out there, is this because they are all working on newer firmware, or will I have to wait until someone makes one for this firmware, or do I change the firmware to the same as what they are using in the rom.
Again apologies for any ignorance.

I think you mean the XXALI5 and not XXAL15

Btw you can flash the customROMs over the "XXAL15"
Best regards

I am not sure, if Manila and other main cities are introducing LTE then yes. Otherwise you can probably see it popping up in shops, if they have managed to get their hands on stock from HK.
*updated* I heard that Smart and Globe will be doing LTE in the near future but only in Manila to begin with.

Just wondering if anyone is working on a port of Android 6 for sprint?

I have been following the international thread and have seen a few different ports for the M8 but none of them are compatible with CDMA phones. So I was just wondering if anyone was attempting to do that. If so I would be more than willing to be a guinea pig and test things out. I wish I new how to do this stuff but as now I am not quite that smart lol. If somebody already posted a thread like this and I missed it I do apologize but I did look.
Wondering* lol
You can check out this thread for any development into it. It's currently working, but it is tricky.

apparently cm 13 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3247073 which is not sense or gpe, didnt test it yet.

this is about rooting GPE , has nothing to do with Sprint M8

[Q] Android 7 / EMUI 5 for EVA L09C530B127

Hi guys..
A friend have bought a P9.
The firmware is EVA L09C350B127
With Firmware finder, it seem to be under the latest firmware.
What is this "C350" ?
I don't find anythings about it
It's possible to change it ?.
Thanks for ur answers
Hi
None ?
C530 is the region code for the ROM. Would seem to be French region.
If it's the latest firmware, you could try searching the thread for ways of debranding and getting a newer update...
Peace

Hi.
Thanks for answer.
This device was bought in a french operator store.
There's no "operator splash screen"
May it possible that it was the "operator" code .
In Europe, the region code is C432...
I'll look for debrand..
Yes, operator code is probably better!
example
Peace

Probably best option is changing to C432B182 and going from there?

Unlocked AT&T Note 8 doesn't work on Verizon network.

I got my AT&T Note 8 unlocked yesterday but when I insert my active Verizon sim card nothing works. I gave Verizon the current sim and imei numbers as well as verified the current network settings. A few people here said all they did was unlock and pop the new sim in. And help would be greatly appreciated.

I did the same with my AT&T Note 8. It will not work. You have to Flash the unlocked or Verizon firmware. I flashed the unlocked firmware and it works with Verizon. There is a thread on xda with instructions.

You must flash the Verizon firmware. Dodn't even need to have it unlocked. This phones are all the same model with different firmwares. Feel free to send me a pm if you want or need help.

That's not just you, we only have 950U and 950U1, every device. Even Verizon phones and be flashed with any snapdragon firmware. All you have to do is find the same bootloader version, 1, 2 or 3 or even go straight for Oreo. It will make the phone stock to that carrier. No sim unlock needed.
help with flashing

Will this work on any carrier phone such att branded s9 will this allow us to get Hotspot working
Does this require unlock bootloader first?
What are the benefits of installing this over my T-mobile software? No root yet, right? Does it at least unlock the Sim?

None, it doesn't unlock the sim or allow root. Most people use this to remove carrier bloatware or as a stepping stone to convert from one carrier firmware to another.
I had auto update off and it did a auto update to June 1 will this no longer work? I've been waiting to hear back about the Hotspot I asked about and yesterday it did a auto update

I believe the latest U1 firmware and Latest AT&T firmware match(both end in ARF4) so you should be able to still do this.
Would you by chance have a link to latest

CLT-AL00lC00E51R1P15B125 (9.0.0.125) !! Can i flash it ?! :S

Firmware Finder / TEAM MT are showing a few china/asia version of 9.0.0.125 available to download....
Anyone know if I'll brick my phone flashing it with either [HuRUpdater] or Beta Flashy??
( currently "branded" on CLT-L29 (C432)... was originally a Rogers Canada phone )
so... I'm a honey badger & just did it via HuRUpdater... Looks awesome so far
How is it so far? Any big changes? Are there any stutters when it comes to animations? Is it worth hoping that Huawei will bring gestures to our device as well? How's the camera?
i dont know why you want to flash this while the real deal comes out this weekend.
