Shipment coming Monday possibly Tuesday

Well I got my shipping info yesterday, and have yet to receive any update on ups of it being actually shipped.
So I call ups and asked what was going on, and why would they say delivery date of the 16th if I have seen it ship yet.
The rep said once it ships the delivery date will update to most likely to Tuesday.
Sorry to bring bad news but I just wanted to give a heads up.

I am pissed I could have bought it from Sam club cheaper and no shipping cost. I wish Google would have said retail stores would have it same time. This makes we want to dump Google and go to Apple and iOS full time.

Don't be so dramatic. Ordering from Google didn't guarantee that you get yours before anyone else. If you're getting angry over having to wait a couple of extra days, then Android is probably better off without you.
(For the record, I'm still likely to get mine even later than you get yours)

I ordered way back on the 27th from the Play store but still ran out yesterday and picked one up from a b+m store anyways. Wanted to be able to play with it over the weekend. When mine comes from Play, I'll either return this one or sell it to a buddy.
It will be worth the wait, I can assure you. This thing is all sorts of amazing.

I don't mind the wait that doesn't upset me I am upset because if they had stated retail stores would have it same week I would have bought it from there and saved shipping costs even if it was same price and now Sams club has it 20 bucks cheaper and with tax that is 40 bucks or so off.

Agreed its pretty sweet. Mine shipped Friday but I went to Sam's club and picked up another so now the GF gets one when it arrives

Google could screw up 100 times over and I still would not jump over to Apple. Yes I'm pissed that I pre-ordered early from the Play store and yes GameStop pre-orders are already in their grubby hands but I will have my tablet by mid next week. Do I want to trade a few days waiting or jump over to sue happy Apple? Apple would rather kill everyone then release new/better products. The next iPhone will have the same design for 2 years minimum and the same screen size for another 5 years. And I'm not giving those bastards 30% of my app purchases just to blow it in the court room. I sold my iPad 3 two weeks ago and I have no regrets in doing so.

There's absolutely no need for yet another thread about orders/deliveries - there are stickies where you can discuss such matters.

Shipment Delay

Just got my first email regarding the status of shipping my nexus 7 seems if your ordered before the 11th you'll be getting it this week with over night shipping. Anything after the 11th will be next week with over night shipping.

Oh, and here is to hope that I actually get it. I noticed after I ordered that the shipping address was different than my billing address but only the city / zip were different. When i first moved in to our home and up to a couple years ago our postal address was one city / zip (we live in the county outside of any city limits). and then a couple years ago the postal service changed us to a different city / zip. One that is technically closer. I immediately contacted google via email and told them of the problem. Street is right, city / zip is wrong. Well, they can't change it. Even though it hasn't shipped yet, and this is what the guy actually said.

i ordered on june 28 man. i'd already pissed that my friend got it form staple without any dam shipping price.

Ended up snagging the last pre-order off Best Buy Canada online with free shipping and currently on the phone with a rep to cancel my Play pre-order. I'm never ordering hardware from Google ever again unless I'm in the US.

8gb unfortunately hopefully I don't regret not getting 16 gb

I Wonder why people complain so much for something that is not marketed in their country of residence yet. the nearest to singapore is australia, have you guys check how much it cost down there? Its always have been the case of supply and demand, never been an entitlement. some people willing to pay more to have early access or some even deem, the local price won't be as attractive as it's imported. if you want to do direct conversion comparison of the price please find a way to buy an US nexus 7 and then find a way to instruct your US nexus 7 fly all the way from US to Singapore for free.
IMHO posting this kind of post makes singaporean sounds like a whiner, or have a blatant ignorance.

Dude, did you fail your maths or something? iPad 2 starts at $528 and the latest one starts at $658 Unless you're referring to the 1st-gen one, but it wouldn't make sense.....

Do you know how to count? My nexus 7 costs me around $370. Thats more than $200 off the price of an ipad 3. Its a great piece of tablet and in most benchmarks, it exceeds the performance of an ipad 3.

That price is kinda steep.
Managed to import to sg for $380 and that's considered one of the more expensive methods :laugh:

Order from adorama.com, the 16GB version of NEXUS 7 will cost USD 249 (16GB NEXUS 7) + USD 55.70 (shipping) = USD 304.70

Now, after paying that much, I better hope this phone is real good. I am already on 4S 64GB but you can say that I am an iSheep!
The fast graphics chip, bigger screen and LTE really got me going. My LTE data plan can finally be put to real use. What you all think?
EDIT: Oh I can also sell off the 4S 64GB Black + several accessories (3 high quality juice packs, otterbox etc) for a good $550 - $600 hopefully. It is locked to BELL. So I am only paying $400 or so out of my pocket.

Well if you guys not seen yet... HSN is selling the 16gb N5 for 70k... Lol... So hoping for the 50k range is really wishful thinking for the next few months...
What I find hilarious is how they speak about the international market prices and yada yada...
The nexus 4 16gb was selling for $200 on the play store when they were trying to finish their stock... Prices dropped drastically everywhere... But nope... Not on HSN... Lol
Anyway I heard the price in Australia is 400 plus 19 for tax and shipping... That's cheaper than the US play store if you do the conversion... Oh and I'm talking about the 32gb...

Hey dude... good to see a fellow N4ian...
Hmmmm... if i was going to get my phone in Jan i would have waited for some later batch to order the phone so some issues that the first few batches have may be fixed... like how the first N4's had the buzz and the yellow blotches on screen... thats just me tho... But im thinking you probably ordered asap to avoid getting backed up on the waiting list like the N4 release... lol... tho seems Goog is doing a MUCH better launch this time around...

I ordered 2 one in white and one in Black both 32 GB, but finally i was thinking of cancelling the order. But if the price is good in Pakistan I may keep them as I am coming next month.
How much are the shops in Islamanbad/Rawalppindi selling/buying it for ? Is it worth the hassle. BTW I got mine for 480 dollar each with tax and shipping in Quebec.
