OK, So It shipped from Adorama! (No Nans)

Sorry if this should be in another thread but I think it is important to know as some people may have done what I did...
So I ordered through the Play store when the Nexus first went up on the 27th and I got the 8Gb. At this point, I still have received no communication or final charge from Google. So that sucks!
Anyway, today I saw the Verge post about Adorama getting stock so I figured I take a flyer and place an order for a 16Gb (which is probably better to have than just the 8Gb) and choose overnight shipping - which was like $27 but there was no tax because Adorama is an NY Co and I am in PA. I emailed them to ask if there was any chance it would ship today and I would get it tomorrow, but I never received a reply from their customer service.
I did, however, receive an email that (I think) they sent to everyone who ordered online saying that the Nexus 7 was backordered for 10-14 days and I could cancel, or wait and not be charged until it shipped etc. Well I paid via Google checkout and I was charged immediately after the order and the charge was never removed.
So I figured I would give until tomorrow to see if I hear back from them, so I haven't cancelled the order.
So finally a few moments ago I went to the Adorama site to check on my order status and to my surprise it has SHIPPED! They attached a tracking number and the package is already in route in NJ and should be hear by tomorrow at 10:30AM!!!
What is weird is that I have received no email from Adorama with the tracking info nor has my google checkout (wallet) been updated with the tracking info - it still says "order not shipped."
The moral of the story: If you ordered from Adorama check your order on their website ASAP. And it is every possible that Google Play orders may be shipped already but the Google Wallet info has not been updated.

and now I have received and email confirmation from Adorama and by Google Checkout has been updated with the tracking. So it is all going smoothly.... as of now.

Same thing here says it shipped. I will have it by 10:30 am tomorrow....

crap. I wish I did overnight shipping. placed my order today and tracking says it's at NJ too! that's amazing. only thing is that I did standard shipping and I'm out of town sunday... agh!!

All Nexus 7 tabs will get the $25 credit no matter where you get it, but ONLY the first gmail account that logs into will get the credit.

why is dont have status?

I'm very tempted to cancel my order and get this right now. I have to play an extra $25 for tax cause google is located in california on top of the unexpected 50$ price jump to for the 16gb and I still haven't recieved anything from them eventhough i ordered on the 27th.

Shipment Delay

Just got my first email regarding the status of shipping my nexus 7 seems if your ordered before the 11th you'll be getting it this week with over night shipping. Anything after the 11th will be next week with over night shipping.

Oh, and here is to hope that I actually get it. I noticed after I ordered that the shipping address was different than my billing address but only the city / zip were different. When i first moved in to our home and up to a couple years ago our postal address was one city / zip (we live in the county outside of any city limits). and then a couple years ago the postal service changed us to a different city / zip. One that is technically closer. I immediately contacted google via email and told them of the problem. Street is right, city / zip is wrong. Well, they can't change it. Even though it hasn't shipped yet, and this is what the guy actually said.

Sigh, I can only hope UPS is smart enough. Of course I could walk in to staples 5 miles away and buy one tonight if I wanted. With no shipping.

i ordered on june 28 man. i'd already pissed that my friend got it form staple without any dam shipping price.

Ended up snagging the last pre-order off Best Buy Canada online with free shipping and currently on the phone with a rep to cancel my Play pre-order. I'm never ordering hardware from Google ever again unless I'm in the US.

8gb unfortunately hopefully I don't regret not getting 16 gb

no reasons were stated, they just cancelled my order without my knowing or asking...wtf is this. i was waiting badly for this phone since i sold my other nexus 4. it was supposed to comes 6-7 weeks which is basically this week or next week and they cancel it? GG, never shopping with them again.

ofc i will....this post was just to inform others of google's shady shopping and customer service routines.

they did the same thing to me. no explanation. no info given on who cancelled it. nothing. of course I did receive the notice of cancelation right as one of their employees emailed me to let me know he was looking into my order issues. I'm assuming he did it, but no proof. call in and ask to speak with a level 2 person. the supervisor I tried didn't even know how the play store works

There may be a time limit on how long Google can hold your credit card.

Could be they went to charge your account again before they shipped it and you had insufficient funds in your account to cover the transaction. They re-charged my account 3 days before they shipped it in November after being backordered for 2 weeks.

lmao they've been out of supplies weeks though. but i thought they would put my order as a backorder until they get more supplies, not cancel it. i just called google and dude says he don't know what happened and why. i'ma call again and try to talk to someone else, and then a supervisor. this is BS. this means that google playstore must really not have any supplies coming soon.

what are you talking about? they only charge your account when they are about to send it out. first of all, they charged the account for my first order in november and when my credit card refused, google play send me a message stating the issue and i called my credit card and fixed it. but that was the first order. this second order i didn't use credit card and the payment option i chose has more than enough funds in it. and also, if there was a problem, they should have informed me, not just cancel it.

I read a post where some guy had similar problem. He called play store and they sent him a unique link to re order. Contact Play support.

When can we expect the US release date to be officially announced? Everything that I've read has speculated 3/15, but I've yet to see anything that confirms it.

T-MOBILE STORE - manager said sometime in the summer.
BEST BUY - said late April
@ the MALL - dude said he had a demo and played with it but couldn't show it and said it was out in 2 weeks.
These were all in California US.

Nevermind I am now getting it tomorrow.

Also getting mine tomorrow. I didn't go to bed last night thinking I would have it by wednesday. The fine print for the Netflix offer says you have to get the phone between 8/21 and
9/30....I hope that is a little flexible since the CEO kicked things off early.

So I initially registered to get the deal and get notified when the phone was available for order. The phone was available to order early so I hastily ordered from t-mobile.com. I now have the phone but no email about the deal.

I ordered a 64gb yesterday morning and got it today.

So far, i really like it. The build quality is great and its really fast. I just wish i could have gotten tge 128gb version. After i transfered all my music and stuff i only have about 10gb left.
