Is there any rom for i9305 that comes close to Omega for the i9300? - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

I'm thinking about upgrading from the i9300 to the i9305. But I love mods like:
4 way reboot menu (reboot, recovery, download etc)
Call Recorder
Disabled advertisements
Faster GPS lock
Completely Silent Camera
Hide sms from call logs
These and many more are offered with the Omega rom for i9300, does any rom for the i9305 come close?

I have unfortunately was just hoping I had overlooked one. The I9305 seems to be left in the dark for the most part when it comes to the XDA community. Is there anyway of applying mods like those I have listed above to the I9305?

There is a 4 way reboot and crt off effect for this device.
For a silent camera just root and remove shutter audio files.
For faster gps lock use Faster Fix from play store.
And for no ads just download ROM Toolbox Pro from play store. That works great!

[Q] Miscellaneous Q&A;Modding PA Halo to Samsung Multi-Windows

TL;DR, is it possible and is any dev attempting to mod the PA Halo to Samsung Multi-Windows?
(This probably isn't a question which validates an own thread, but it is something I wanted to know really badly; I suppose this can be a thread in which these miscellaneous questions like this one can be asked)
As we all know recently PA has recently open sourced HALO, for which edits in the rom are made to the following to make it work:
no. mostly systemUI. and one setting in framework.jar. -res contains only androids resources.

(source, molesarecoming at this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273074)
Since multi-windows is the only TW feature which really keeps me on TW roms I was wondering whether it was possible to mod the work done by PA, to mimic the multi-windows feature on AOSP(A) roms?
Since I am not a developer I can't really do it myself, I can list what in my opinion needs to be changed to have it function as Multi-windows;
Conditions; HALO now continues to be in front of the app it has been called before (this is also possible without getting a notification from the concerning app by adding this app to the HALO via "HALO)))"(source:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.paranoid.halo)). The end behaviour from an app on the front now needs to be changed to some kind of added button. Right now it vanishes when you tap the app it is on top off.
Looks; the app in the background is being blacked out, this also needs to be removed. The size of the app being shown needs to become wider, full screen, by which it loses it 16:9 scale (Google may find this braking app compatibility, just as with cornerstone and CM)
I think these are the most obvious changes to be made to get Multi-Windows on AOSP(A)....
(Another idea maybe is to keep the HALO, the way it is, but made is resizesable and being able to move it around (the darkening of the other already running app still needs to be removed...))

Battery Drain
Hi,
I have some issues concerning the battery drain. As I dont use the cellular connections, I turned on flight mode and enabled WiFi manually. I also setup the WiFi to turn off while the Tablet is in StandBy. Still I an loosing about 1% battery per hour. Within the old 4.1.2 ROM, this was far better. I just wanted to check if others experience the same and this is normal with KitKat or if there is some setting which ensures an improved behavior within deepsleep (asuming that my device will go into deepsleep, didnt check).
Thanks for all the answers and a big thank to all the guys behind this rom. I really like it!!

KitKat for our device is not a really good build compared to JB. I suggest you to try Ultra Power Saving Mode to reduce the drain caused by other apps and system services.

Yeah, I guess I could do that, but the ultra power saving mode has a gray scale theme and also only a limited number of apps which can be used. Thats like buying a BMW and then replacing the enginge and putting in pedals instead.
My guess is, that the device does not properly enter deep sleep. Within deep sleep, the device should not waste more than 1%-2% overnight.
How can I check if the device enters deep sleep?

I meant that you can do this to reduce the drain when you don't use the tablet. Anyway download CPU spy and check deep sleep. I suggest you to use greenify to freeze background services and improve deep sleep time.

According to cpu spy deepsleep has never been used. Is this a kernel issue? Is there any way i can activate deepsleep, mayby with an exposed module or app?

I also thought about a wakelock. Well greenify tells me that there are no bg processes to be stopped. I also used 'ds battery saver', which worked well on my i9001 and should force the device to go into deepslepp, which did not work.
I will have a look at this tomorrow. I guess i can use adb to check the wakelock (suggestions welcome

Note 4 must have tweaks? Add yours here

I'm new to the "note" line, coming from a regular galaxy s3. I thought it might help me and others to post what others might consider must have tweaks. I know I have found a couple by mistake that pretty awesome.
Xposed framework. (A tweak that allows you to add other tweaks from different repositories)
Network speed indicator for xposed. (Adds data speed indicators in status bar)
Wanam for xposed. (Many system tweaks)
YouTube adaway for xposed. (Pretty obvious)
Now you guys add some more below [emoji106]
Whitepages caller id.
5x5 Launcher.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/themes-apps/4x5-touchwiz-home-t2910243
Should have been this way from the beginning.
Other than that, ES File explorer, or any root explorer, and start deleting stuff.
Where to begin lol . .
Nova launcher prime to get half grid placement, no padding for widgets and full control over grid size.
Adaway
Titanium Backup to disable things
Greenify
Switchr for quick recent application switching keeps me from being irritated with the recents list lag LOL
Xposed module Amplify to reduce wakelocks
Xposed module BootManager to control what starts up on boot
Xposed module Complete Action Plus and Custom Share to take control of actions and share options
Xposed module NoSafeVolumeWarning to get rid of the stinkin safe volume nag screen
Xposed module YouTube Adaway
Xposed Module Wanam Xposed
GMD gesture control to add custom gestures
Probably one of my favorite mods is GMD Gesture Control which I fell in love with on my Note Pro 12.2 and have now set up identically on my Note 4. With it I have set up some great gestures like 3-finger down for Back, 4 finger tap and hold for Alt-Tab, 4 finger pinch for Home, 4 finger swipes left/right to change previous/next apps, 4 fingers swipe down for menu, 3 finger double tap for my texting app, 3 finger hold for my music app . . etc. etc. practically endless possibilities.
Awesome guys! I hope this becomes an awesome thread!
Blurred system UI is a huge must for me.
Greenify
App Settings( to change dpi, apps look better smaller)
wanam
Noise Recuction
It would be nice to be able to set the noise reduction feature independently for the phone and any Bluetooth headset/speaker phone. As it is, it is either on or off regardless of whether you're using a the phone alone or with a Bluetooth device. I would like to keep the noise reduction always on while using just the phone and always off when using Bluetooth.

I really like the 3D next launcher. Also, DK 3.0 for my ROM. He has lots of treaks built into the ROM. Viper 4 Android is awesome for sound mods. If you all have any questions about any of the above listed mods feel free to ask or PM me. Cheers
I'd like a dark themed Note. Also to keep the cool screen animations on the lock screen even with live wallpaper. Also aosp whenever it hits.
I also forgot to mention GPE 3.0 theme for DK 3.0. Really nice stuff.

(SOUNDS) Flashable sound mix made by me!

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKS OR ANY DAMAGES ON DEVICES
Hey folks!!!
I made a flashable sound mix which include ringtones, notification, alarms and ui (User Interface)!!!
Ringtones, notifications and alarms are from COS 12...
Ui is mixed of Nexus 6, Galaxy s6 and LG G4...
( Ui sounds includes touch,camera,battery,lock,unlock etc. )
To be more accurate:
Camera Sounds: Galaxy S6
Touch sound: Galaxy S6
Keayboard sound: Galaxy S6
Lock Sound: Galaxy S6
Unlock Sound: LG G4
Battery warnings: Nexus 6
I tried on COS 12 and it works great!!!
Install Instructions:
Simply flash the zip through TWRP!
I hope you like it!
Could you please make an optional version with the LG G4 lock sound?
I dislike the combination of the S6 and G4 un-/lock sounds.
Otherwise I really like your sound pack, better than COS default ones. :good:
it's a personal thing. i like the camera and touch sounds, but for the rest I like more the CM12 ones. Maybe if you could post a tutorial on how to choose our own combination from different phones, it would be more useful . thanks for sharing anyway

I actually wanted to do it myself since it's only one file to be changed but I couldn't find the darn LG G4 sounds anywhere on the Internet. :crying:
Found the sounds in a LG G4 rom (had to download 1.4GB)
Working fine on cm 12.1 5.1.1_r3

To make yours flashable sounds just download my zip ---> extract it ---> change the sounds from system folder ---> compress it as zip again ---> and flash it...
I hope it helped you
@Pachenko_Gr Can you make more and more versions?
I don't like lock sound and camera sound.. i would use stock camera sound..
Can you add more phone like HTC ONE M9, sony xperia ecc..?
Did you have Line sound notification? Please add it

Marshmallow update for Axon pro released

ZTE has released the marshmallow update for this beast. How's the update coming along for everyone so far?
The new update adds stock android features with little to no skinning.
Known issues/changes
•Some users are reporting stock launcher crashes, the problem can be alleviated by using a different launcher.
•Dolby Sound has gone missing, evidence provided by Arsenic53 suggest ZTE done goofed and accidentally removed it.
•The quick settings panel is now Dark and Transparent (very classy)
•Average RAM usage has gone up considerably due to system apps being badly optimized...or maybe they're just being rebellious?
•Bootloader still locked
•Battery drains quicker.
•Nice new booting screen
•Annoying WIFI calling issue has been resolved.
•Some users have reported lag even during the booting process.
•A user has reported that He/She cannot see the screen on some occasions especially when charging.
•The lockscreen is now closer to the stock version. The dialer shortcut has been replaced with a Google now voice function and the annoying "# more notifications" thing has been removed.
•Bloatware app "rockmyrun" can no longer be disabled.
P.S someone please link zte usa's twitter to this thread so they can go over it. Leave a reply so i can remove this message.

The doze feature doesnt come with a dedicated settings tab. if you want to choose which apps get dozed and which dont, go to apps(settings) click the gear and click battery optimization; from there you can white list certain apps from doze (I recommend greenify if you want doze to activate in just a few minutes as opposed to an hour.)
