Sometimes, you download an application because you find it interesting and then finally, it don't need or like it or more (it arrives very often), or you have just changed of rom, of version of Android. I've got a lot of apps, between my changes of terminal, the articles of test for a French blog etc...It's really easy and fast to download some free apps.
In brief, for the most ancient, you must have an important download history :silly:
For awhile now there’s been a way to delete the free crapware from your download history, but not many users are aware of the feature. For your benefit we’ve provided a handy step-by-step guide to getting rid of the apps from your download history that you’re confident you won’t be revisiting in the future.
On first you need the last update of Google Play Store apk, which is 3.10.9, Especially don't say “why I do not have do it earlier ????”. For the simple one and good reason which this functionality is very recent.
=> Open the Play Store App on your device.
=> You’re going to be presented with a list of all your currently installed apps, and below that you may see a list of apps ready for update.
=> Tap the options button in the top-right corner of the screen and select ‘My Apps’ from the drop down menu.
=> Swipe from right-to-left to bring up the ‘All’ screen.
=> From here you can delete the history of any free app you have downloaded. Simply tap the circle with a line through it above the word “Free” in the app list.
=> If you want to select multiple history entries just hold down on the app until you feel the short vibration. Then go through the list and select the other free apps you want to remove.
=> Tap the circle with a line through it in the top right corner if you have multiple items selected and you will be prompted to select ‘OK’ or ‘Cancel’ to confirm your removal.
You’re done! The app list should now refresh, and it should be missing whatever you selected for removal.
Maybe it will be long for some download history. Mine was new and fresh after 2 hrs :victory:

Being a developer myself I was in the need of having access to my Android App / Google Wallet sales data from my iPhone but don’t wanted to rely on the web browser. I wanted an app for my iPhone that enables me to get current sales statistics and a charting of my daily/monthly/yearly Android App sales data. In addition I don’t wanted to use one of the external statistics apps like AppAnnie, AppFigures or the like because I don’t wanted an external party to have access to my accounts. My App Statistics is what came out from this need.
My App Statistics is compatible with iPhones with iOS version 8 or higher.
Grab it from the App Store
Homepage: https://www.silentservices.de/products/ios-my-app-statistics/
Usage:
– After installation you need to go into the in-app settings tab and press the “Show Google Auth View” button. A window will open where you must log in to your Google Account. If you use 2-factor authentication (which I strongly recommend btw) you will need to log in and then enter your second factor code. Make sure to check the persistance checkbox so that you don’t have to enter the code a second time. If all done press the “Dismiss Google Auth View” button.
– After you have successfully logged in to your Google account go back to the “Orderlist” tab and pull down the view. The app will no connect to your wallet page and download your sales data. Depending on the amount of data this can take some time for the first download. All other downloads will go pretty fast.
– Once the download is finished the “Orderlist” will contain all sales data for the current month.
– Change to the “Order Stats” tab and choose a time frame to see you sales as chart.
If you have any questions or comments on the app just write me an email. I usually respond the same business day.

[App] Older Ai Type keyboard 2.2.0.4 works better than the current ver-on our Droid

Yet the newest version 5 has many bugs on our Droid. The suggestion bar will not show in a browser. The resizer disappears after using. The newest version erases the backup when you reset to defaults while not so with version 2.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aitype.android
Update v2204 is attached.
I just tried all day & 100% indeed. Nearly anyway, I can't get the personal shortcuts to work. The current Play emoji plugin works.
The resizer works even in a browser.
Makes me question what happened with development after v2. Lollipop is a good guess.
Installing F-Droid & keep the app chooser "open" letting you choose F-droid or Play. Then just touch the screen to kill the app of the day.
Be mindful of the cut button in the middle of the 3 mode bar. It will clear a long comment with an inadvertent touch. There is an undo in the utilities button.
Bugs
Also "expand the textbox" kills the suggestion bar.
Sometimes the suggestion bar hides & you must close the KB with the back Navigation key & reopen by touching the input field.
The ”make it my own"/urban experience (lol WTF is that) is neat to get the popup & key pressed color to linger- I always thought to popup went way too fast & still does with this mod but lingering key color is better than the popup. Trouble is with all these screen mods it is easy to out-type our processor. Edit disabled the popup completely-just the key fade is better.
I have attached this popup-less settings backup with some other mods.
I included my backup settings to put in Android/data.

In Play store there are poor reviews for the new version (good reviews for this version) on our phone! On most phones the reviews are poor for the newer versions.
This top row has a 3 mode button for numbers, special characters or editing-a delete key & much more. As mentioned above the cut key can be a disaster at times but I have saved my posts with undo key from the 3way button.
Click on ai.type.zip.txt & copy Mega link to download.
Install but do not launch/open.
Don't bother with setup helper by launching the app after install. Next go settings/ language & input, enable the app, put the backup in sd-android/data, Go to settings, language & input, settings, prediction, restore data.
You need to disable (settings/app/) the stock keyboard & reboot too.
Download F-droid from Play, to stop the app of the day nag.
Do not select a default. Do nothing, just tap the KB to clear.
This is still my fav KB, the copy, paste & other editing buttons being right on the top row is nice when the auto appearing ones won't show themselves.

Many users have complained about the monotonous default themes of certain social networking apps and what to change it. This article will show you how to change your theme with easy steps.
Parallel Space introduced Theme Store in the app, which is really amazing: if you are unsatisfied with the current default looks of Facebook/WhatsApp/Instagram/Messenger, you can edit those Apps and change the default looks into customized themes in Parallel Space.
You can do it without having knowledge of coding since there are more than 5 ready-made themes available. All you need is 3 steps.
1. Download Parallel Space in Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....parallel.intl
2. Now open Parallel Space and swipe right to enter Theme Store.
3. Pick your favorite theme and click “Activate this theme”.
The icon would be changed correspondingly in Parallel Space.
Parallel Space is an app which allows you to sign in two different accounts on a single Android device simultaneously. As one of the top-ranked tool on Android, Parallel Space helps more than 40 million users log in to their multi accounts at the same time on one device by cloning.
The newly updated version of Parallel Space introduced Theme Store, which provides stylish themes for cloned apps in Parallel Space. Many more customized themes are yet to be added.

Unknown application

When acessing the application list that can be put into deep sleep (Battery and device care menu) , at the bottom of the list there is an application which contains 2 chinese symbols followed by 1 (see pic below)

. The application isn't however listed in normal app list, even if I am selecting to be displayed also the system apps. What is about, please ?
Translates to "Starry 1"...Where did you buy your device? If it's from a Chinese seller it's possible it's been loaded with China specific firmware which I would expect to include various monitoring and reporting apps.
It was bought from the one of the official shops of Orange - mobile phone company. How can i get rid of it ?

there are apps on PS that help you obtain the full package name of installed apps. with the package name you can use ADB to disable it.
Tried with some suggested apps, but unfortunately this app is not listed at all. As specified in my first post this weird app is listed only when accessing the menu "Battery and Device Care -> Battery -> Background usage limits" where I can select the apps that can be put into (deep) sleep. But if am accessing the menu "Settings -> Apps" it is not listed even if I am selecting to be dislayed also the system apps. Very strange....
you could also flash unlocked firmware too the phone. using the home_csc file will keep your own apps and data intact.
or you could phone up Orange and ask to be put thru to their technical department. maybe you can email them a link to this thread. they might enjoy the mystery detective quest.
The application is not using any permissions whatsoever. So for now I put it in deep sleep hoping that it does nothing. Will keep searching the net for some more info about it

[TUTORIAL] How to bring back Google Discover App Shortcuts

For some of the categories like Sports, Weather, Finance, etc. you would have seen a prompt like the one above on the Google Discover feed.
If you choose 'No, thanks', you may not see it again. Google app doesn't provide a way to add these to your homescreen (only Google knows why) if you change your mind later.
One way to bring back the prompt is to delete Google Play Services data, something which is often NOT a viable option. If you have paired your smartwatch with your phone, you shouldn't delete this data as it holds the pairing key for your watch. You'll have to factory reset your watch, pair it again with your phone and redo all the setup on your watch from scratch. For me who is having 300 apps and watch faces installed on the watch, with no way to backup and restore the data, this is an option that is untouchable.
HOW TO BRING THESE SHORTCUT PROMPTS AGAIN?
1. Open a Chromium based browser with Google as it's search engine.
2. Open Incognito (Private) tab.
3. Type Sports (or any category whose shortcut you want to add) and start the search.
4. It will open the Google Sports web app in the browser and the prompt to add shortcut will show up.
5. If you click on Add, you'll see this:
6. Click on Leave. This will then give the option to add the shortcut to the homescreen:
I have seen that this launcher prompt above doesn't always show up (not sure if this is because I already have this shortcut on my homescreen). In that case, close the incognito tab, open a new one, and go through the steps once again and it will show up.
Tested to work on Android 13 on multiple devices.
7. The shortcut on your homescreen will now open in Google app (not the browser that was used to create it), and this is what we want.
Hope this helps.
