Just a few things to note before you start
Beautiful ICS is an android 4.2.1(JB) ROM based on .587 by Sony Ericsson Arc/Arc S.
The ROM is highly customizable is essentially AOKP Running on top of the stable Stock ICS with working features such as Stock Sony Camera and HDMI Working
If you haven't tried this ROM yet then you are seriously missing out, it is the most innovative ROM for the Xperia Arc/S merging together AOKP features and AOSP UI with the Stock Stable sony experience with excellent battery life

How to Install:
1. Make a CWM Backup incase anything goes wrong (Optional)
2. Copy Beautiful ICS v1.zip to SD card of your phone
3. Flash kernel via fastboot by typing: fastboot flash boot boot.img (Ignore this Step if you have a locked BL)
4. Boot into CWM recovery by pressing the volume down button during boot up when the LED flashes purple
5.Wipe everything ( data, cache + dalvik cache)
6. Go into install zip from SD card and find Beautiful ICS v1.zip
7. Then flash it, Reboot and Enjoy
For Locked Bootloader
Same instructions but BEFORE all that
1. Make sure you are on Stock ICS before flashing

first of all when i scroll through the menu, it isn't smooth, a little lag
and so sad that no battery mod at all
battery in deepsleep is ok (5% in 6,5 hours)
Default gmaill app alway force close
The sound is too loud, even with lowest volume
play store error???

This is exactly like JJs hybrid rom. Use that on the pro. It's more less the same thing.

Bro you sure you wiped completely when flashing, don't have those issues and no one else reported. And its first release I'll add battery mods etc later

this is a jj hybrid rom copy with some new things
Mate, this is not based off his ROM or anything. I ported it all myself, but yes I did use his work as inspiration ofc. It is based on .587 unlike his older release so most stuff was incompatible to begin with.
An AOSP themed Sony ROM is going to always be similair to other ones, but Im hoping to port more things and make it more unique.

Its not a copy!
YOU should first make a good ROM, BEFORE spamming other threads with useless ignorant comments.
And Yes, 95% of all stock based ROMs are made with 7ZIP...
This is NOT made with 7zip by putting other people work together and calling it a ROM. (Mine also not cuz' i follow the same thing, a unique rom )

Good Work! sorry for my english, the rom its amazing, so fast, so clean and smooth, but i have a problem, when I insert the pin, a new window appears asking about a 'Unlock Code' i had unlocked bootloader... i select discard and the phone works, but its possible to fix that window??
Also google Play seems not to work, i rebooted and also dont work Play, open and close.

yes i think that its MIUI style... flashed gapps and now i have market but i cant download nothing, im waiting while it update to PLAY to try again
EDIT: Making a hotfix?? How it works, what is the real color of the status bar??
EDIT 2: Market app cache cleaned and now it download everything
Only fail the unlock carrier code when it starts and the status bar for now, good work ^^

Some fixes
*Someones cant install apps related to google services such as viber, earth,.... you can flash (full) GAPPS or my GAPPS for CM7 to fix it. I remove some files and cause it. Next version, it fixes completely.
*If You cant connect wifi (a bug of CM7 - MAC Address=00:00:00....), You can search /system/etc/wifi/nvram.txt. in there you can find "macddr" (middle of the text) (if not, flash a stock rom to get it in "status" in "about phone" ) then write in this file /data/misc/wifi/config this line "cur_etheraddr=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" with your mac address. You will have wifi.

There is something wrong in the OTA.APK, and there will be a fix for it says the developer.
in the meantime, after downloading the OTA and choosing to flash it, in CWM choose flash zip from internal SD
then goto OTA-updater/download/xxxxxx.zip
flash it and your done.

Samsung ui mean that the theme and the launcher are from the s3
The framework is in my to do list with other things

Big thank you this help me in developing of it
-So i must make a litle clean up
delete some apps like acid (i think i will make a Music System and a fast fluid System )
-edit the ram tweaks
-and must updat touchwiz
-battary life
have one question XtremeSilencer.
Did touchwiz run or not (what was Problem) needs to know the next build.

Yes The Touchwiz works but not as smoothly as it should be
i added apex launcher and then your rom was awesome
but you should not add any launcher in your rom
you should just try to make touchwiz smoother if you can

Ok thanks if my friend have time i will take his arc because i have only cm9 and ther is work fluid but in a few day i will have cm10 and then i will try to make touchwiz fluid

Hi @Nootubo, I have trouble. Error in zip file 2.1.1 (status 6).
I followed your instruction
- Flash LuPuS JB v5 kernel
- Flash ROM --> Error Status 6: I have to edit your updater-script: change syntax of lines above assert(), then remove assert()
- Flash edited ROM --> Error Status 7: some symlinks fail. I cannot fix this.
Please tell me why or only me have this trouble?

You know that those settings will completely disable multitasking?
No Background Processes means also no cached app which doesn't make sense - every app needs to be restarted when you just switch to settings - lots of cpu usage, battery drain and delays...

This ROM is as fast, that after 24h test I decided to change CPU max speed to 806MHz (Min134Mhz) and it's still super smooth on my Arc (LT15i)!
I don't have idea what you did with my Arc, but it's really AWESOME!
I didn't see such performance even on 2.3.xx modded ROMs ...
One problem I had was with camera shot button, but after CYBERSHOOT mod installation all works as it should.

I'm sorry, but I don't remmeber when I installed this mod first time
I tried almost all ROMs from this forum and I have backup of Cyber-shot in my TitaniumBackup database. I just restored it from backup ...
It seems work fine with this ROM and dedicated kernel ...
