Just a few things to note before you start
BoostHD is an android 4.0.4(ICS) ROM based on CM9 (CyanogenMod 9) by FXP Team for the Arc/Arc S.
The ROM is highly customizable and aims to give your Arc a longer battery life and smoother UI.

How to Install:
Before you start, recommended Baseband is 64 but others may work so keep that in mind before posting about signal issues
1. Make a CWM Backup incase anything goes wrong (Optional)
2. Copy BoostHD RC1.zip to SD card of your phone
3. Copy Gapps to SD card ( optional )
3. Flash kernel via fastboot by typing: fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. Boot into CWM recovery by pressing the volume down button during boot up when the LED flashes purple
5.Wipe everything ( data, cache + dalvik cache)
6. Go into install zip from SD card and find BoostHD RC1.zip + Gapps if required
7. Then flash it, Reboot and Enjoy

-Video recorder ain't work.

Good Work! sorry for my english, the rom its amazing, so fast, so clean and smooth, but i have a problem, when I insert the pin, a new window appears asking about a 'Unlock Code' i had unlocked bootloader... i select discard and the phone works, but its possible to fix that window??
Also google Play seems not to work, i rebooted and also dont work Play, open and close.

yes i think that its MIUI style... flashed gapps and now i have market but i cant download nothing, im waiting while it update to PLAY to try again

EDIT 2: Market app cache cleaned and now it download everything
Only fail the unlock carrier code when it starts and the status bar for now, good work ^^

This is my mixture of the latest MoDaCo Vanilla ROM (Fr17) (Thanks Paul!).
Ofcourse I don't take any responsibility for your devices... This works with mine, so is should on yours too! Requires full wipe if you come from stock ROM or from Fr3 or earlier releases!

The only things removed from Paul's ROM are the prebaked apps + Launcher2 (which you can get elsewhere if needed).

Instructions:
1. Install ClockworkMod
2. Download prefered ROM, and place it somewhere on the EXTERNAL SD card
3. Cold boot with pressed power + vol down until "android" in small letters shows. Release buttons.
4. navigate with the vol keys to Install zip from SD card -> choose zip -> navigate to where you put the ROM -> press power button
5. press back then power to reboot

When did you DL it? Or did you bake yourself? The SQL fix wasn't in the prebaked to begin with. And is vanilla, vanilla? Like, do I get that grey theme instead of the LG black?

It's basically the Fr8 from Paul, but with some changes including those two...
It includes the SQlite fix, yes. And it's the "grey" vanilla...

Do you know already if it's draining battery or we can use it normally?
I've not had any "big" drain the time I've used it, but I'm not completly sure yet.
It's brought as a option, and have to be activated manually inside this ROM
If I find it to be unfriendly to the battery, it's excluded...

Working on a new ROM now with the OC/UV kernel and Pimp my CPU included... Don't know yet if I'm going back to the LG framework (for the toggles), or if I should invest more time to try getting the toggles in notification bar in AOSP.

It's the "universal"... The latest OC kernel with up to 1400MHz. It's 1000MHz by default, and changes must be set in Pimp my CPU

INSTALLATIONS INSTRUCTIONS (read carefully)
Download the .rar file
Extract it there is a folder name Divine2.0 inside it
Connect your phone to the PC
Keep the folder (divine) in folder clockworkmod\backup\
Reboot into CWM
Wipe cache and dalvik
Go to backup/restore option
Select Divine2.0
Do wipe cache, wipe dalvik-cache and fix permissions
Reboot
Flash the latest update (here 2.5)
DO NOT USE TEMPORARY CWM FOR FLASHING AND OTHER STUFFS (like backups). I HAVE BEEN REPORTED OF BRICKS DUE TO TEMPORARY CWM

Well there are meny modifications in the syetem files so it does take many time to reboot the phone. If it still stuck then go into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik and reboot again

Please use the propers apps like set cpu or nofrills cpu to change your governer to hotplug and the i/o scheduler to noop. For better battrey life please wipe cache and dalvik and fix battery stats

3. Help me bluetooth doesnt work:
The superics kernel has been compile from old samsung released sources. I am not sure if he will release new one. So if u want back bluetooth u must compromise cwm. Flash the following zImage using Ktool or mobile odin

yesterday i bought this mobile and after that i was upgrading my phone to ics through odin and while doing this it goes in the black screen of death mode.then i have to take my mobile to service centre for repairing its software then they updated my phone therself.
i want to use a custom rom on my mobile is there nay save method available so that it will not go into black screen of death mode again, bcoz i dont like to service centre daily.
and tell me wat is the quadrant score and battery life in this rom

yes they are working fine. if there is bug then it must be the proximity sensor. (its not the part of the rom but of part of kernel)

you have to test it to know it. i have added possible fixes for those but you really need kernel support to use the phone full FPS support. our good friend hanny_562 is busy with that will update

How to Install:
1. Make a CWM Backup incase anything goes wrong (Optional)

4. Boot into CWM recovery by pressing the volume down button during boot up when the LED flashes purple

and so sad that no battery mod at all
battery in deepsleep is ok (5% in 6,5 hours)
Default gmaill app alway force close
The sound is too loud, even with lowest volume

Bro you sure you wiped completely when flashing, don't have those issues and no one else reported. And its first release I'll add battery mods etc later

this is a jj hybrid rom copy with some new things
Mate, this is not based off his ROM or anything. I ported it all myself, but yes I did use his work as inspiration ofc. It is based on .587 unlike his older release so most stuff was incompatible to begin with.
An AOSP themed Sony ROM is going to always be similair to other ones, but Im hoping to port more things and make it more unique.

YOU should first make a good ROM, BEFORE spamming other threads with useless ignorant comments.
And Yes, 95% of all stock based ROMs are made with 7ZIP...
This is NOT made with 7zip by putting other people work together and calling it a ROM. (Mine also not cuz' i follow the same thing, a unique rom )

V-1 MINOR ISSUES
1. After 1st boot lightning launcher force closes. Dont worry, it will be 1st and last FC
2. For best performance and speed, DO NOT FLASH GAPPS. Install gapps like normal apk's. This saves lot of space in system partition
V-2 BUGS
1. The status bar clock and softbuttons disappear on status bar after a reboot .
So here's a simple workaround, till i find out why its happening. Ok so to avoid the issue, before doing a reboot, just disable softbuttons. Then reboot.

MUST wipe data, dalvik-cache, system, sdext before and after flash

if u dint follow flashing instructions, then all u get is a boot loop..lol
Guys please b4 post re try to flash the rom... It worked fine since the first boot for me -.- for move apps to sd just read my previous post... The only thing missing in this rom in my opinion is dsp manager hope you will include it... For now i installed apk and libs manually keep up the job man you awesome

i decided to make a single rom better and perfect than making many un-perfect roms...so after i perfect this rom, i will concentrate working with other roms..
so here's a little changelog for tomo in this rom.
1. ICS style settings
2. JB style status bar with settings, clear button

I just try your ROM, my suggestion:
- Plz add a couple of ringtone and notification
- Reduce soft-buttons, they occupy lot of space in status bar.
- If you guys havent flashed gapp, don't add account or you'll get reboot.
P/S: This ROM really fast, i must try more to discover.

1. u can do it urself if u want...but i want to keep my rom real slim and fast, occupy very less internal mem and RAM :good:
2. soft button size depends on the theme u use :good:

3- for now.. keep it at "downloading" and restart phone, app ll actuallng start downloading .
