Cant download paid apps - Nexus 7 General

Hello. First of all, sorry for bad english. Today i got my nexus 7 3g and i just cant download paid apps from playstore. When i select to buy it, enter credit card and when its supossed to start downloading it just doesnt. But now theres two other selections appeared. First is refund, which does nothing. And ofther install, again accept, credit card and when it just wont start downloading. But from second try of downloading an paid app i receive an email, that money has been taken from my account, i receive this only if i try to download it from second try. I`ve tried cleaning cache, other files. Rebooted. Did a factory reset, nothing helped.
So i already lost around 15bucks. I`ve sent an email to google about this bug and asked for refund. So guys, any ideas how to sort this out?
Thanks.

Try logging out of your google account then back in again.
The option might actually be to delete the account on the Nexus 7. Then recreate it.

If this doesn't work.
You can try factory reset and see if that helps.
If you have other android devices, try downloading using those device.

That didnt work. I also tried factory reset about an hour ago, also nothing. But i have received paid games refund.

Interesting, now it also doesnt work on my galaxy ace. It says failure downloading app. But i was working. Also took money. Now it must be something with my google account maybe?

A common problem. Got this too, mailed Google and got the refund. Google- apps are crazy since yesterday.. ^^
Nothing worked for me neither..

Google had a serious outage yesterday, related to their Sync server. Chrome was crashing all over the place.
Everything Google has that uses Sync was affected.
Should be fixed by now - try your download again.

Play store says "you haven't accessed play store from your device yet"

Hi there...
As u know we can install apps from play store via PC too...by just clicking install on the apps we wish to install and they get downloaded automatically the next time we turn on wifi or mobile data from the phone...but when I try to do this, play store gives a message saying "you haven't accessed play store from your device with this id"...
So m unable to install any apps via PC though everything works fine when use play store from the phone...
Can someone please temme why the play store is not recognizing my device...?
I'm running miui gb rom which I flashed a long time ago...I hadn't installed any apps via PC ever since until now...so this problem came to my notice recently...

Relax boss, nothing to worry. The Play Store installed on your phone needs to get itself updated. Once it is updated you wont face this problem.
So just open Play Store on your device and give it some time to update itself.
Had faced the same problem few days back. Relax.

Actually if you must have noticed that there is another app called GOOGLE PLAY SERVICE or similar name.
when u open play store that PLAY SERVICE app also updates itself.
So just try explorin the PLAY STORE on your phone. Give it a few secs. It'll be ready.
Spend some time surfin on the Play Store so that it gets time to update itself.
It has worked for me.

Login with your id, sync your device with it, check under Gmail settings, install google play services app. If the problem persists, contact google via email. May be it is mistaken that your account has been accessed from a device that isn't listed in your previous access details. Are you sure that you first used this account on phone and then tried it on PC ? May be they're treating your phone as an untrusted source of access.
If you don't wanna bang your head over all this, just create a new Gmail account and access it via your phone.

I double checked all the things u asked me to...problem still persists...
I was suspecting a change in the android user id or something like that...it usually comes up after flashing a new rom...titanium asks me if I want to restore the previous user id so that my device is still recognized as the same one that it was before flashing...but I don't know more technical details on this matter...
So since ur a developer,I guess u know the technicality of this matter...I just feel the reasoning for the problem must be in that direction of thought...please help me if u can think of something that could have gone wrong...

First... I ain't a developer You can call me experienced. But no one knows everything. You can say we know enough, but not everything. When unusual problems like this arise, everyone find themselves in a dilemma. Then someone somehow finds a way to nail it or someone works out wonders. Until somehow the problem is solved, learning never stops in xda ! Our Ace forum is so tremendous that we find so much of varied and relevant cases here that can't be found anywhere else on xda and that makes this forum a stand out and hell awesome !
Talking about your problem, did you try the titanium backup trick ? Sometimes it is just a sequence of steps to solve it. You can just follow it. Like, titanium backup fixes the bad integration of superuser for example. As far as my conscious goes, a new Gmail id should definitely solve it. But if you're concerned about sync and purchases, I'd recommend you to contact google via email or the titanium backup Dev as he might know how to nail this since he's provided a possible solution to the prevailing problem. Last resort, wait for someone more learned to respond or go try to nail it yourself, can't help It's happened to me before

Error 403 driving me nuts.

I've tried everything I can, from removing accounts to clearing cache and data. I've removed the account and re added.
I bought dogcatcher with account 1.
If I remove account 1 and add account 2, it still thinks I've purchased it. I've removed both and added number 2 back. Same issue and so far only with this app.

Did I got it right? Purchased an app with Acc 1, get an error when trying to update it with acc 2? Or is it just showing as "purchased" with Acc 2?
Showing as purchased which is odd. I don't mind buying again. It just won't let me.

After much investigation, it turns out it was my network, three.
However, the problem with 403 is still present. It's got so bad, I've had to buy another podcast app to tide me over. Looks like Doggcatcher is off the menu. Shame, but I'm tired of pissing about with this.
I surrender. Voice recorder pro is doing it now. Any ideas?

Same. Even after wiping and only adding one account, it still does it with the same apps. There must be a more serious issue. I can't use apps I've paid for and have to buy alternatives.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I thought I would try again today, still the same thing. I've had to BUY 3 alternative apps because the ones I bought will no longer download. Sick of it.
If any of you guys are still there, I made this thread with a solution to help solve this error. http://androidforums.com/internatio...ror-24-insufficient-storage-space-solved.html
It turns out that there is some residue data from installing the app before which leads the app to not install. It's tested and worked for me. Please gimme a thanks if it worked.

Thanks man, but didn't work for me.
I did a search for anything doggcatcher related on my phone, not a single file.
The only option I can fathom is to find an apk of it. I've paid for it, I can't use it unless I pirate it. Makes sense.

About your issue try uninstalling Google play service and playstore than clear data, reboot and let it update itself again.

Play Store Problems?

Anyone else having problems with the play store tonight? I did DG's root earlier, but I think it's unrelated because I didn't notice it until tonight.
I've tried clearing cache and data, in the play store and google services. I've even tried removing and adding my google account with mutliple reboots.
It fixed my original error [RPC:S-5:AEC-0], and now I'm just getting a server error (500).
Anyone else notice this? I want to know if it's google and I need to be patient, or if it's just me and I need to keep troubleshooting.
Thanks!

I was 10 seconds from starting a thread myself, getting the 500 error myself as well. I tried all of the following:
1. Go to settings -> Applications -> Manage -> All -> Market
2. Press the Force Close button, press OK to acknowledge this is what you want to do.
3. Press Clear Cache, press OK if it asks you to confirm your actions
4. Exit the screen
5. Go to settings -> Accounts and Sync
6. Click your Google account
7. Press Remove at the top right corner. Press OK to confirm this is what you want to do.
8. Exit the screen
9. Launch Market
10. The Market app will ask you for an account. Put your Google information back in.
11. Once you put the account info in, you'll get the disclaimer. Press OK.
12. Now try to download an app.
But you said you tested it on a non-rooted phone and it gets the same error at least puts me at ease a little. Are you on a custom FW or Stock?
I am on the new root. I have an s4 one another line and it is not rooted at all and it is getting the 500 error

Play Store wont connect

We've all had issues with the play store over the years, but this one has me stumped.
Rooted phone, but that's all
everything was fine for almost a month, but a few days ago, i noticed I was no longer able to connect to the play store.
I did all the "normal" things, cleared caches/data from play store, google framework, uninstalled my gmail account and re-installed it, downgraded play store, upgraded play store, tried the hosts file trick, even did a factory reset, and still no play store connection.
Even called Tmobile tech support, and got to the tier 2 folks, and they couldn't get it to work either, so they are sending a new phone tuesday.
Until then, I want to keep on trying to get this to work; I haven't unrooted with Supersu yet, figuring that rooting had nothing to do with this, since it worked fine for a month, rooted, but does anyone else have any suggestions?
Its weird; when I open the play store app, and type something into the search box, it will actually take me to the page where that app is, but when I try to download/install it, I get the dreaded error 927; when I back out, and just try to open the play store app, It doesnt connect at all.
When I try to send files to my phone from my computer, it shows "my apps", but when I try to send them to my phone, I get an error on my phone saying "failed to install" app..
Any thing else I might have not tried with this?
Thanks!
You dont have any battery saver apps going do you...because sometimes they can mess with network settings. Also that error 927 is a network error so you may want to start sniffing around your network settings. I have the tmobile flex so let me know if you need any settings.
Sent from my LG-D959 using Tapatalk
no, no battery saver apps running, and I went through a couple of complete factory resets on my own, and with tier 2 from TMobile, plus they re-provisioned my phone, and even that didn't help.
Whats so weird is that when I type an app name in the search bar in the play store app, it takes me to the page where that app, and others like it get listed.
If I click on one of the app, it takes me to the download page of that app, and once I click on "Install", the progress bar starts, and it looks like its going to download/install, but then it throws the dreaded error 927 flag.
Trust me, I've been modding phones for many many years, and this play store stuff has happened to me before, but never this stubborn as to make me have to replace the phone.
Yeah that is weird. Well if you do figure it out post the solution. I would love to put the solution in the memory bank just in case.

your idea of creating a new gmail account works!
Only problem of course is all the things I have purchased originally through the play store wont be accessible to me under a different identity..
Can you "combine" identities on the play store, or add others to your account so you can share stuff?
Thanks for the suggestion about creating a new identity! :good:
I'm still gonna try the replacement phone that t-mobile is sending, to see if that one works normally..
I'm glad it worked for you. I don't think you can share apps... Although that would be awesome!!

You can share apps in the sense that when you open up the playstore you can choose which account to use in settings and then download all your apps. I do that for all my daughters androids. Log
both in turn everything off from my Gmail account so that she doesn't get my email etcetera, and then log into the playstore using my Gmail when she needs paid apps and so on.
EDIT: Right after I posted this I rethought the idea and realized that may not work for you because your whole problem is that YOUR Gmail acct is the one acting up throwing the 927 error

yep, I think I did the same thing in my Samsung Days..was so easy to wipe and restore...seems like a long time ago...
Fortunately, T-Mobile is sending a replacement phone today, so I dont have to deal with that..
If we had a custom recovery, it would be a non issue.....soon, hopefully!
just an FYI...
A new phone did NOT fix this; the only thing that works, is setting up a new gmail account, and using that to get apps in the play store..
There has to be a way to fix this; I wasn't happy re-buying all my paid apps again...
