[SGS/I9070] - It´s possible put data apk on external micro sd? - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The SGS/I9070 have 4gb for apk data... so, i wanna put the data on micro sd, it´s possible? thank´s...

Hey,
So first off, I want to note that the SGS and the I9070 are two different phones...
SGS (Galaxy S) = I9000
Galaxy S Advance = I9070.
Just to clear up confusion.
And yes, I think its possible to put apk data on your microSD. Just use a file explorer to move them.

[Q] Best way to swap contents of internal & external SD cards

I need help to swap contents of the internal SD card of my O2x to a new larger SD card and swap contents of the old SD card to the internal card . Aslo, I want to make the External card as the default card for storage and installing apps .. Could some one point me to the right forum/post OR tell me what is the best way to do this . I Know how to make external card default via Cm7 settings ,but am not sure how to swap data & apps in the most convenient way .. Ps reply I'm running out of space.. Thanks in advance
I'm running Temasek's CM7 Kang
Copy everything from internal, paste to new folder, then copy everything from external, copy to new folder2, switch the internal to external option from CM7, reflash your ROM (most apps will have been used you seeing one partition as a place to store all their data and such, so this is recommended). Then paste everything where it belongs.

Wont that interfer with market settings and data downloaded by apps (for e.g. the huge game files downloaded by games ) ? Also wont I have to re-install apps again ? Have you tried this approach ?

Not at the moment, because its going to be connected via USB Storage and wont be used by the phone.
And read the end, I answered that question.

Internal vs External SD Card Confusions

This whole internal storage thing is confusing me a bit. Coming from the Galaxy S, all I had was my SD card. I felt safe being able to copy it and make backups.
I also like to have all my application specific data on the card incase I need to use it in another device.
Is there a way to make the Note default to using external SD? Pro's Cons?
Thanks for any help sorting this out.
I too am wondering this. Looks like it specifies the internal storage as USB storage vs SD card but some apps don't see it that way.
The internal memmory has two partitions, the system one(internal memmory 2gb) and the storage one(usb storage about 11gb) the apps install only system data on the system partition and all the user data is saved in the usb storage

[Q] Can You Move Apps To Micro SD Card?

Can you install apps or move app data from internal storage to external micro sd card? I sure hope O4X won't have problems like the SGS3 has here.
no, you don't move app with default app manager.... sorry for my bad english
No problem with your English. Anyway, is there any way to move large data files to external micro sd? With just 16gb of internal memory in O4X and huge hd games over 1gb each, makes it that much more frustrating to own a 64gb micro sdxc and not really be able to maximize it.
eh ... unfortunately is a problem with this phone .. s also the galaxy 3 has the same problem .... if successed to make the root will change things
PS: SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH
Yup I've read about DirectoryBind over at the SGS3 forums. I think that may do the trick.
all we need to do.. is "waiting for root". ^^ hope some one can root this device soon.
Root is on the way. Once we get root it should be easy as apple pie I hope)

Is there any way so that i can save my Android applications data files to SD card

Since i am using Samsung Galaxy Ace i am sure you all know that the biggest disadvantage of this amazing mobile is low internal memory , i am tired of putting all sorts of cache cleaner and android assistant and freeing up my space.
Is there any way or app which allows to save the data files of applications to SD card. One of biggest drawbacks is that the more apps you put in your Ace the more data files get saved in Internal memory ( obviously) but let me know if there is any way to save data files to SD card.
Thanks a lot in advance
Please do not give solution of making partition in your SD card. i am looking for a new answer

[Q] Install apps in SD Card

I'm planning on buying this phone. My question is, is there any mod to install apps in SD Card? Because the internal memory of this phone is slightly small(8 Gb).
