My OB is still at V20o. How can I upgrade to V30b? Does it worth it? I just want to upgrade that part...

switching from CM10.1 to V30B will be a downgrade dude ! baseband doesn't matter...

So I have an OB in front of me (wives) and I'm curious about the next step.
She had an LGP500 before this and I remember having to update the baseband from v10 to v20 for cm7 to work properly.
Is the OB the same, in that I need to manually flash a v20 baseband over the stock v10a one? (its on froyo)
Would updating via B2C change the baseband for me/upgrade to GB?

No. You dont have to.
Which baseband should i use for ics v28e????
First, is there problem with your current baseband?
If everything is working without problems, i don't see any reason to flash baseband.
I'm using currently V20s baseband with V28G rom.

Two files on bottom, filename tells which one is E or G
thanks dude...but now i shifted to topogigi's alpha rom..with v28g baseband and its working great...no drain at all..supersmooth.....

I just installed CM10.1 official nightly, and I'm experiencing some data drops, so I wanna know what is the recommended baseband for use whit CM10.1 and other AOSP based roms.
Actually I'm using V20S baseband, but I don't know if is better install v30b baseband.

try flashing v30b baseband ,, if its still there switch to stable cm10

Copy this file to card SD and install in CWM on JB 4.1.2 V20A (root) and network works in CyanogenMod 10 Nightly!
Remember! Wipe cache and dalvik cache!

Is there any difference in having cm10 after having v20a or its just the same as from v10k

Previously you had to install CM10 on V10k + root but if you install on V20a the network doesn't work. Now uploading the file, you can install CM10 on V20A and network will work. Do you understand?
this does not unlock the baseband, this is the baseband for v20 and theres another one for v10. both are useful for going from v20 to v10 base rom without the radio problems =D
