Is there any difference in having cm10 after having v20a or its just the same as from v10k

Previously you had to install CM10 on V10k + root but if you install on V20a the network doesn't work. Now uploading the file, you can install CM10 on V20A and network will work. Do you understand?

this does not unlock the baseband, this is the baseband for v20 and theres another one for v10. both are useful for going from v20 to v10 base rom without the radio problems =D
i guess you are talking about this right? http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=441880&st=440#entry21399703
If not erase

LG keyboard doesnt save it's settings

hi i just buied the Optimus 2X(p990) with the lgep990-v20q firmware version and it's keyboard doesnt save it's settings nay way to fix this bug ?
That a known issue in some stock roms for single countries.
Flash a Europe Open or one of my rebuilds and you won't have the problems anymore.
iwill lose it's settings apps. etc?
what i do if the baseband doesnt exist ?
and where ican find the latest firmware for p990 ?

Yes, you'll loose them. Use titanium backup to restore your apps.
If the baseband doesn't exist, flash it via SmartFlash.
And V20s is the latest stock rom.
it has any good difference from v20q ?
Yes. It's a bit faster, more responsive and is the most bug-free stock rom.
Where Ican find it . I hope it doesnt change the default partition type ?

What do you mean with partition type? It has stock partition sizes.
You can find my rebuild of V20s and a tweak pack here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699106
And don't forget to flash baseband first!
the 1st file you give what is it for ? the BB one
there is many files in the zip what i choose?
You have to flash the zip file in the clockworkmod. You need root and clockworkmod. There are tutorials for this.
done it

Use mv flash, back to GB and them use nvflash another toolkit with cm10.
But a good idea is, that if you don't know what or how you want to do something - don't do this.

I think the big difference is that ICS uses a different bootloader to GB and CM10 uses the GB bootloader so the link that lintz posted will work and so will an Nvflash to a GB rom.
Example of a GB version http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1504280&page=27 check out post 267.

[Q] Clean ICS v30a stock flash

Hi! My question is how does one install clean v30a stock(no root-absolutely stock :cyclops: ). At the moment i'm using the europe open version which i installed from the .kdz file with lg tool and it is to my understanding that lg tool keeps user data when updating the device. I wish to do ,as clean as i can, a fresh install. Thank you in advance!
Official updater tool should work, otherwose nvflash to 10b and use updater
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
extract .bin and .fls files from the .kdz (with p990 tool kit) and flash them via smart flash...it will be completly stock an no root no other stuff just the stock...it will delete all your data...everything exept the external SD:laugh:
@majoortje: well since i'm from romania i can't update my phone to v30a in an official manner because the latest version available from my country is v20s so i don;t think it will do much good reverting to GB rom.
@ilooze: that might do the trick will try thanks!
I'm from Romania too ) this how I updated my phone to v30a too but now I'm using cyanogenmod 10 .....Spor
At some point i`ll try that too thanks for your reply mersi mult

OB V20o to V30

Hi
My OB is still at V20o. How can I upgrade to V30b? Does it worth it? I just want to upgrade that part...
I have installed CM10.1.
Thanks
switching from CM10.1 to V30B will be a downgrade dude ! baseband doesn't matter...
Oh, I tought it could be diferent ehehehe
Thanks
CM10 = JB (ROM)
V30B = ICS (stock FW)
got it ? : D
But newer baseband could fix my GPS issues. Right? So how can i do that? Thanks
I'm on CM10.0
Baseband V10a
Flash only the fls in smartflashtool

Xbsall's vX3D is based on v30B. Get it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33461920
You must follow the instructions for XBSA vR3D here (you must flash first his large partion v28B and then erase internal memory)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39269819
but instead of installing vR3D in recovery, use the vX3D ROM file.

I should maybe tell you that xbsall (he was the guy who ported the first ICS with working 3D to this device from the similar Korean SU760) did not spend a whole lot of time on that particular ROM... as he states, it is not really supported. You would probably like his vR3D more; it is based on Canadian v30C and has cooler features. But if you must have v30B, that is the only one that I know of personally.
