Can flash stock ftf and install back 2.1 but when it at Sony Erisson bootanimation loop also

are you still on custom kernel? if so, you'll get bootloops when you have stock rom installed. can you get into recovery?
i think you have to unlock your bl first. try installing pcc. then use flashtool. not working? have you installed gordon's gate? try rebooting pc. and stop adb.exe using task manager.

Hi. I'm trying to fix my sisters N1. I know a decent amount about Android, I've got an s2 and have had it for a while. But I can't seem to be able to get this nexus off this white boot loader screen. Running cynogenmod but I don't have a clue how she got to this screen. I rooted the phone and installed the rom but was years ago. I'm so lost and need it fix urgently. Would be greatful for any help.

If you rooted with method that increase binary counter of your phone - there is not option to revert it to original state. Samsung will know you did "bad things" with your phone. And good news are that binary counter could be reseted when we get JB, with use of Triangle Away. Till then nothing.

Yep. Advise running fastboot reboot-recovery too to kill that stock recovery re-flasher script - TWRP does it automatically if you boot in, cwm asks you first

Hello, I am running a stock RAZR M, but rooted when I first got it to remove bloatware.
I'm just looking to install the latest update (I keep getting the error message since I deleted the bloat apps, and I can't restore apps).
I dont think I "unlocked boot loader", because I don't even know what that it. I'm just trying to get this update on my rooted phone. Even if I lose root, I'm ok with that.
I'm pretty new to this, but have done some rom flashing on previous phones.
Once I download this file, do I install through Clockwork manager? Can I boot into system mode and install from .zip?
Thanks so much for your help!

And updating will remove root. You will have to reroot.

I know most of the users had to install all the apps/bloatware that they deleted in their system/apps folder to be able to update.

If you can boot in download mode, use Odin to flash a stock rom, It may revive your device
Have a look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313363
I explained how to flash a fresh stock, if you face any trouble ask us and we try to help you
For all of you (GALAXY ACE USERS) who want to backup your IMEI:
TRYING TO BACK UP YOUR IMEI = BRICK
Ace efs is deep inside radio and touching it ... it ko imidiatly!
And now a side note. The efs being inside radio makes it almost impossible to be touched by flashing roms kernels whatever. So don backup it up or touch it

And that if safe change/flash roms or kernels via CWM 5, because EFS partition isn't touched
so don't touch EFS folder/partition!!

How to Unroot ATT Moto X?

Just rooted my ATT moto x using jcase's method (which was ridiculously easy). Now I'm curious how to unroot in case I get prompted with an OTA in the coming days.
Can anyone shed some light on the easiest way to do this?
Thank you very much.

Flash stock firmware and recovery with either Rsdlite or fastboot. If you use fastboot you can preserve data.
The firmware is in the Dev section

As noted if you want to preserve data, just flash the recovery.img and the system.img from the stock firmware via fastboot and you'll be all set. I did it and works just fine. Be sure to use the firmware file for ATT.
Stupid question in 3...2...1. How do you flash stock firmware without having custom recovery?
Sorry

@gunnyman already answered your question. You flash using rsdlite or fastboot.

Awesome thanks.

Is this process very difficult? I have been prompted with an OTA and it will not go away.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

No its easy. Just follow the instructions on the thread about flashing back to stock, but you probably should have already done it. You can just fastboot flash recovery and system without wiping and then reboot. Then accept the OTA.

I've always had Samsung devices so I'm used to Odin!
Will be interesting figuring this method out.
Thanks for the help
PS. Can you send me the link to the thread that has the instructions on how to do this? I can't find it searching. Thanks again

Fastboot will work unless you're trying to downgrade. It will work with a locked bootloader because these are signed official images. All I can say is, make sure you have downloaded the correct file for your phone. If you're on Verizon, system flash won't work because the file size is too big. Just fastboot flash recovery recovery.img then reboot the phone and do a factory reset. This should take you back to stock.

thats what i was trying to do, the issue im having is when in fastboot and connected to the computer terminal no longer recognizes the device. even with ./adb devices or ./fastboot devices. I can't send any commands to the device using fastboot for some reason.

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with Mac enough to help. I'm sure someone can help you out though. I don't know if Mac and Linux are the same, but when I flash using fastboot on my Ubuntu machine, I have to do sudo fastboot flash or it won't work.

rsd lite 6.1.4 is the only one that worked for me
Hey guys-
My questions is somewhat related to the OP, maybe not so much but I did not want to start a new thread.
Anyways...I got the Developer Version, how do I go about unlocking the bootloader, is there some moto site to do this like htcdev site?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: I am reading on some articles that it does already have an unlocked bootloader but I don't think that is the case on my device
