[Q] Sudden boot loop!

Hello all
so my device is SGS GT-I9000 with CM mod 7
when i was back of school i realized the phone is so hot (wasn't using it though)
i looked it up and found it loops i waited for like an hour and it still loops!!
i actually have no idea why it even restarted! it was sudden
so i tried to delete the cach memo, delvek cach and such, neither seemed to work
i just don't want to wipe data please i have loads of apps installed and messages i haven't read and they're important!
Is there any alternative solution I can take??

u may probably hav to fix your three button download mode by flashing new SBL.bin files but its highly complicated and may cause a thermonuclear war so d easy way is that u can use terminal emulator on ur cel nd enter a command for downlaod or recovery modes

For you : Hav u recently Bought Galaxy s ? I mean one or two months !

if that did not work you have to wipe/factory reset. if this doesnt work try going back to stock and then flash again cm7 or any crom you want.
for the apps and messages why not use titanium back up.
works like a charm

[Q] Help Think I bricked it?

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.. Had my bionic running ics just before the official patch. It had given me an error that the E: drive was corrupt. I formatted it and got it running again, after about a week and 1/2 it just stopped running.
Now I get the following screen,

No luck, get the below error.

The phone will not boot up, so how would I make sure.. When I go into fastboot and plug in the cord, it activates the USB connection and shows up, so I am assuming it is on. Drivers were downloaded and pickup my other Bionic.

Your also using wrong version of verizon zip file...use 4.0.4 version . the last one down out if 3 files.

I tried using all 3, get same error from all three files.

First, thank you so much for walking me through different things to try. I just put the battery back in after it being out for two days, I never selected line one in RSD before, so I am trying that now. I will let you know if it makes a difference. Also using the file you specified.

Is the E: drive the external or internal SD?

On the screen capture, it is saying E:Can't Mount.. is that E: not referencing the E drive?

E drive is your USB port itself.

Trying 5.9.902, it seems to be running longer, but still only on step 1.

That will revert back to gingerbread...may brick phone if ICS was the last update on it.

If you have multiple USB ports...use a different port.

Oh.. Didn't know that....

But on one hand ..if your running fast boot now and its working.. Keep it going and see. If it start then u can update through android system settings. Or try fastboot ICS zip after. Let me know how its going. I'll keep thinking.

If you have the time. You can hook up your OTHER bionic to PC copy both your android SD Cards MOTO:F and MOTO G to your PC and try and fastboot the OTHER Bionic to ICS see if that works. You can then transfer info from back to correct drives on Your device. Takes a while to do though.
That would narrow things down with your mount issues.

Did RDS lite fail again or still running. And when you downloaded the Verizon Zip file..you left it zipped up? I hope. If you didn't...don't extract that file. Flash as is.

Still running.. After the initial fail on 6.7.246, I selected line one and hit start. and it is still going.. Still saying step 1/21 though

Oh, I also formatted the SD card, since it was the old one, and had a bunch of junk on it.. Didn't know if that would make a difference.. 16g card.

what you mean in "psd lock:

There's no real reason I can possibly think of to relock a bootloader on a Moto X. No point even for warranty, as it will read "relocked", never "locked" again like it was out of the box.
So I'm just curious why you'd ever want to lock the bootloader? ?

Unlocking the bootloader won't cause that. Flashing something after may, but not just unlocking the bootloader.
I've never seen that issue come up here in the Moto X forum section.

because after unlock my moto x lose cell radio

Reflash stock firmware with RSDLite. Yes, it will completely wipe your device.... So back anything you want up to a pc or cloud first.
Then you will be completely stock. If it's the same, it's likely hardware or Sim or carrier/account issue.
Make sure it's the firmware for your exact device model, and don't downgrade, or you will likely brick.

TOOL DL image FAIL! BLU R1 HD

I tried running the SP_Flash tool which ended up in the phone turning on while running the tool and failing, now every time i turn on the phone it gets stuck in the white screen with the logo in black, and at the bottom left corner it says TOOL DL Image FAIL! Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I used the flash tool to download a recovery onto the phone which ended up in the phone being stuck in boot. Thank you for responding

Take it for what its worth, but i was getting that error constatnly trying to flash my R1 originally, had to change to a differnt usb port. and it worked like a charm. (I was using front case ports, went to using back mobo ports)

It seems this problem has been abandoned.
I did encounter this error before, some time after the OP asked about it. My original answer to the problem was a bit too generic and not really helpful.
In my case each time I encountered this "TOOL DL image FAIL!" -- it seemed to be caused from bad connection at usb cable.
A second download from the sp flash tool fixed it.
also I noticed that I had better success rate of recovering from fail error when I flashed
1-lk.bin
2- boot.img
3- system
all together at same time.

IF YOU DID A FORMAT ALL FROM SP FLASH TOOL , THIS IS NOT THE PACKAGE YOU NEED.

The other method I used to flash past this error was to use miracle box to do the flashing.

And try with the miraclebox and nothing. Friends need help. Well now I need your help again. the phone is blu r1 hd R0010uu 8 rom / 1 ram, amazon version which was corrupted in oem through the steps and files of RootJunky / Tom. the recovery was replaced by trwp. in a data cleaning the phone was bricked. because it does not block the boot. I do not know if you remember but you had a copy of your phone in miracle box. which try to install with it but if I succeed. I was giving TOOL DL image FAIL !. Could you please help me recover the cell phone? I have read many forums on the subject but I have not yet been able to fix it.

I see the scatter file in that backup is not correct made.
use scatter from other v17 backup with those files.

As you know some days ago, I posted a thread about H820 TOT firmwares. Sorry for late. Just wanted to do some clarifications.
Note: I want to clear you all out that all 3 firmwares have been read from my own H820 using a professional tool (Z3X LG Tool).

I am not responsible for any bricked devices.
You are choosing to flash these firmwares.
Use at your own risk. Everything should be clear.
Opinion:
If you are on 6.0.1 then first flash 7.0 and then 8.0 (Step by Step you know).
And use UPPERCUT for flashing. This is my personal opinion. You may know better.

Yes you can flash. Go to UPPERCUT thread. Download all the required tools from there. All instructions are there.

No, we can't, as the bootloader must be unlocked. By the way, did u try the firmware? is it working?

well, i tried to update it with UPPERCUT and have a black screen now.
I selected the file, update and everything went ok, until the last part when it says rebooting, then it turn off and never came back, i waited for an hour and nothing happend, but windows stills detect it .

And the firmwares are corrupted I think as the LGFirmwareExtract tool can't identify, I can't even brute force the firmware to flash

If firmware is corrupted, then how LG Firmware Extract tool is loading all the partitions from TOT?

If your phone is detecting by pc or goes to download mode, you can try SALT utility for LG which works on linux.
You can found easily on XDA in Android Software Development and Hacking section.

I also tried LGFirmwareExtract tool and it can't identify the firmware, you checked if the compresed tot is ok? (I apologize for my poor english)

Huh ... Thank to Allah ... My pc did not detect device otherwise i also flash my device and may also face device bricked situation ... Need some experts to look at this problem...

Ok, I intended to help community but things went wrong. I don't want damage for anyone.
So, I am taking down links for now. Until I flash them on my own device and see if it goes well or not.
