I haven't received it yet, but I've ordered one of these;
http://www.zenuscaseusa.com/Zenus-Ga...Rank=salesrank
Should protect damage from our igloos.
This is a good case maker if you like any of their styles.
I ordered the oem flip cover from a UK ebay seller (talklinesales). Took exactly 1 week to arrive my door, cost me less than $30.

Galaxy note worth it?

Now that the note II has been announced, is it worth it to get the note 1? I can buy the unlocked note for 250 dollars. Thanks.

I started of course with the original nokia flip phone... then had the original.motorola razr. Then had tmobile sidekick..then had 3 iPhones.
This is the best phone I ever have used. I don't touch my computer anymore. The screen size allows that. I will not be upgrading to the note 2...

If you're getting the note 1 because it's cheap, I would go for it.
It really is a great phone.
But if you just want the latest and greatest and money is not a problem, I would suggest the note 2.
$250 is cheap!!! I just bought another one for $375. Now I got blue and white to exchange
Yes, go for it, you wont regret it. I got mine a month ago for 300 eur used 2 weeks - guy found it to big for him and I love it! Upgrade to note 2 is not real option as it is not much better in real life use - leave benchmarks aside.

just make sure if u getting it cheap .. its not a phone that has been revived from a brick or something.. check the storage capacity thoroughly
This is a fantastic phone! You won't regret it. I on the other hand am going for the Note II. I have had this Note since December, and I'm ready for a change Hopefully by the end of this month or the beginning of next month I'll be able to get it! Amazon.de, and .es aren't ready to ship yet .
Splash out on the Note II. You will not regret it... its absolutely brilliant...

Order from samsung.com I guess.
Search for: note II s pen
then click on 'accessory' under s pen.

I just going to ask the same thing..guess it just not available yet on the local market..i do ask the seller..they said, our note 2 is still brand new..hard to find yet any spare part or accessories..

Lol I lost my Pen on the second day, looked everywhere for it, don't know if it fell off the phone . Managed to find the A s pen at Samsung.com, Penn goes for $29.99.
I was searching through the threads today and stumbled on a coupon code for 50 percent off assessories on the Samsung site. I order my s pen with the code and ended paying 20 dollars for it.

Just an FYI, the s-pen from samsung.com, i.e.:
Item: ETC-S1J9WEGSTA S PEN (5.5PI), MARBLE WHITE GNOTEI
Just got it, and for the most part, it's fine in the N7100.
It does not fit perfectly, however, and it sticks out a little bit.
Same experience I had with the t-mobile s-pen that I tested.
It's not going to fall out or anything though, so I can live with it.

Just got my s pen and fix perfect.

Should I buy a used samsung Galaxy s3?

There's a local shop that sells used phones and new one as well, the seller showed me a Samsung galaxy s3 for 280$, but it has no manufactures warranty the seller gave me 10 days warranty from the shop, from there I started having doubts about the phone, because he gave me only 10 days so maybe the phone is corrupt, but it is in excellent condition at the outside. Do you think 280$ is too much? The new one costs 400$, so I'll be saving 120$. So it's either that phone or a new Samsung Galaxy s3 mini OR a Moto G. What do you recommend me??
First of all wrong section for questions. Second, go ask this in the Galaxy S3 forum. You are on the Galaxy S4 if you haven't noticed. You will get better answers there. But I can tell you that I was over priced. A galaxy s3 is worth about $140.

But on the pricing, it might depend where you are. I was able to sell my old S3 which was in mint condition because I put a screen protector and case immediately on and had kept all the original packaging for $300 dollars easily on Craigslist. But personally I wouldn't spend more than $200 for a fresh one.

[Q] Confused with Samsung galaxy Note N7000

Hi guys,
I am struck with something. Can someone help me in deciding what to do.
I actually want to purchase Note 1 (N7000) but its discontinued by samsung so its not available in the market anywhere but on ebay and some others sites peoples are selling new Note1.
But I doubt that they are either refurbished or first copy of the note.
On asking the seller on ebay, he said that these are new original cell phones which are discontinued in India but are running in Indonesia so they import it from there. He also said that the phone will connect with samsung kies. so I am confused what to do whether i should buy the cell phone or I should go with some other cell phone.
Please help me I am really confused.
Thanks
Note 2 is much better than note 1
Think again before purchase it

Yes I agree with you but I want to go with Note 1 only for now. Please suggest if I can rely on that imported version of Note 1
So let's put this into perspective, you want to buy n7000 that's 2.5 years old with no warranty and very likely no future release of firmware update from samsung? I'm guessing the price must be really good that it tempted you to even taking your time asking about it here.
So if you still considering it; Ask if they can provide you with the firmware version.. At least with that you can identify which part of the world was it meant for.
I'll be honest here, you're basically taking a leap of faith.
For me, if I wanted an old phone... I would consider buying it second hand and then go on eBay to get a new housing replacement and a battery just so it looks and feel new.

Exactly, don't buy note 1, it's extremly laggy. Better buy note 2 or s2.
