Me & LG ;] - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hi, I'm BigboyPL. Maybe some people already know me.
Firstly I don't have LGP880, just GT540 and old KP500.
Probably you are wondering what I'm doing here.
I will answer : I'm helping ppl with LG. Especially with firmwares, flashing and service manuals.
It started in 2009. I've bought brand new KP500 in February. After few months I started modifying a firmware etc.
I was very interested in csmg servers. I looked for a lot of things and after few days I knew almost everything that I've need.
In 2009 it was very easy to crack B2B (just need to change password window to main window ;d) and also pages was very simply.
Also links for firmwares was little different. FW was in .cab extension. It was needed only one page to get list of all .kdz firmwares.
You can look here how it was looked: http://web.archive.org/web/20090508...g/b2c/client/b2c_version_mode.jsp?model=KP500 easy as pie ;d
Then in 3rd quater of 2009 LG has changed many things. Firmwares was in .kdz and were signed to IMEI number, and it's for today. B2C_version_mode page dissappeared.
There was a new pages used in B2B:
ezlooks_to_csmg_noti.jsp - it was used for inform about new .kdz firmwares
global_manual_noti.jsp - it was uded for inform about new drivers, service manuals etc.
You can see it here:
http://web.archive.org/web/20100611...com:9002/csmg/popup/ezlooks_to_csmg_noti.jsp?
http://web.archive.org/web/20101124...le.com:9002/csmg/popup/global_manual_noti.jsp
as you can see it's a bit harder cause you must substitute data to link. To get complete suffix you must use :
http://web.archive.org/web/20100923...mode_country_check.jsp?model=GT540&country=GB
previously you can download service manual from here: csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/sw_manual_list.jsp?model=KP500&suffix=ADEUSV
now you can just download user manual, pc suite, and drivers only.
Then in 2011 pages was changed to other. ezlooks_to_csmg_noti is now agent_phonesw_notice_list
I make copy of agent_phonesw_notice_list every day. I've backup since 2011, and ezlooks since 2010. I can download any .kdz file which can download B2C at normal update.
In 2012 I found out that LG has beta RNDTESTSW firmwares too.
Since then I'm trying to understand how to get this firmware but vainly.
In 2013 LG has changed authentication in B2B and B2B is logging to LG site too. LG has changed WEBSW to WDLSW parameter updated csmg server and
added parallel header site (csmg.lgmobile.com:9002 is running same as csmgdl.lgmobile.com)
I also found B2B cracked by ooxtcoo on his ftp site. I have 1.4.8.0 and 1.4.9.0 versions.
Many peoples has it too.
I wanted to patch a new version and I found that daniel.wro patched traffic and gained access to the tool. He told me that he used tool called fiddler.
I spent one day to find how that works.
Then I started to look for RNDTESTSW in many programs. First tool that I patched was B2E but I didn't found anything interesting.
Next, at general forum reas0n said that a man called foil uploaded beta version fw for LGE960. I found his profile on xda but he wasn't online for about 2 months.
I found his twitter (f0il) and then our conversation begin.
He told me that I must use PCSyncFTP tool from LG. He added that I will find something in traffic.
For about a month, I struggled with this tool and finally I had to give up cause I found nothing.
I wanted him to say something more but he gives me nothing.
Please, don't spam any messages at his profile cause he won't tell you anything. He is reverse engineer and that't his job. It is obvious that if someone earns money for it why would he tell you for free. Respect it.
I took a different way.
I was looking for "something" in the other tools.
I've edited B2C tool and now I have Retail&Vendor tool.
in B2C you can see 2 links:
First link giving us some RNDTESTSW link
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/...websw_list.jsp?country=&region=&buyer=&model=
e.g. http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/...list.jsp?country=DE&region=E&buyer=DEU&model= (without model it shows all models)
but I think it giving always outdated links cause
<model>LGE975</model>
<suffix></suffix>
<buyer>DEU</buyer>
<buyer_name>GERMANY</buyer_name>
<swversion>E97510C_00</swversion>
<live_date>2013-03-18 16:28:16.0</live_date>
<region>E</region>
<country>DE</country>
<country_name>Germany</country_name>
<chip_type>QCT</chip_type>
<sw_recommand_uri>GLOBAL/EIC</sw_recommand_uri>
<sw_uri>http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/RNDTESTSW/LGE975/DEU/07IHFWIZXG/E97510C_00/E97510C_00.kdz</sw_uri>
Click to collapse
you can see that is uploaded today in 16:28 korean time (GMT+8)
and link is not working.
the second link is
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check_optestimei.jsp?esn=
if somebody has developer phone after esn= you should type IMEI and it should give something.
And now it's time to reflection. I have many IMEI's from prototype phones (IMEI starts at 0044) and it's not a developer phone.
I think it's used to test hardware, I mean prototype to test does phone works good. Also gsm providers can get this prototype to see how will looks their "additions".
Also companies that are making reviews (e.g. gsmarena) doesn't have developer phones.
I once read somewhere in LG Service Information bulletins that there are phones with yellow imei labels. Such mobiles aren't repaired but send somewhere in LG.
Maybe this is the clue.
here is edited version of B2C: http://www.mediafire.com/?hme6xi15io74jdy
you should put this file in LGMOBILEAX/B2C_Client (in xp C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LGMOBILEAX\B2C_Client)
In Extras tab you have some extra options and tool will work till next update.

Best regards,

i look forward to any additional help you may provide, thankyou

couldnt the RNDTESTSW somehow be part of UpTestEX_mod2_marwin which is the RNDTESTTOOL maybe there would be some way of unlocking extra tabs inside it, i know that it already has 2 options that say they are not implemented yet please wait for next release

Nobody knows how to activate new version of UpTestEX.
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/swdata/client/inhouse/UpTestEX_1.1.5.2.cab
Buttons are always not active.

yeah i told about that version today but we do have the version before 1.1.5 that is already cracked/working. .
heres a few url''s for other stuff that someone told me about but you probably already have them and i dont know if there off any use to you

also wouldnt it be possible to use hex editor to see how the previous was bypassed or with fiddler

Where is patched 1.1.5.2 version of UpTestEx ?

if you have original and patched uptestex, would it not be easy with IDA pro to look at assembly code and change the same code in updated edition??

i said we have the previous version patched (actually a little older than previous its ver1.0.4)but at a guess the method of authenticating would of probably only changed slightly if at all or even better would be to check how b2b does it

I think those rndtest goodies can be obtained from B2E support->upgrade event but it requires security key that it sends to server so without right authentication server won't send any info
I also tried buyershop but it needs password not at its openning and it didn't check the server for authenticating so it might be built in password

Buyershop is operator support tool (I have buyer test app and it's working without passwords), it only has one option : update phone.
Previous versions of UpTestEX can be cracked using just ResHacker or other tools like this. You must change not premited menu to premited menu and add parameters WS_VISIBLE to all buttons, windows etc. and delete WS_DISABLED.

Sorry that I don't finished this theard but I'm very busy now. In next few days I will try to write some text.

do u know the right response to this - it looks like see if u've operator test mobile b4 doing the ordinary check and it might give some permission
i tried to respond with the same ordinary response but it didn't enable me to download 20a - maybe its related to this rnd temp link
another interesting check which i don't know its response http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/os_upgrade_check_rnd.jsp?esn=x
ofcourse normal respone is fail on both (we need operator esn)

It must give status=OK and some .kdz RND link I think.

BigBoy,
It would be wise to keep your findings to yourself, and stop talking about it in an open forum. I understand that you're wanting to help everybody out, but you will kill the access that you have if everybody and their mother can do it. I have full admin access that I can create/delete real working accounts, and bind mac/ip to account, so I'm personally not worried about it - but for the sake of the community, please don't put this stuff out into the open. Respect what you have, and don't abuse it.
I'm not trying to be an asshole at all, I'm just looking out for everybody.
Btw, not all R&D is hosted on public internet, and is only on LG private intranet. You need remote pin access

[BETA 0.5.2 - 8/3] My Android Manager - Complete phone management

My Android Manager 0.5.1
Exsiting users: Please upgrade by downloading http://myandroidmanager.com/app/MAM.exe
New Users: Please download full installation http://myandroidmanager.com/app/mam.msi
Public Beta Available : http://www.myandroidmanager.com/app/mam.msi
Note: There will be issues for tis build so if you want a perfectly stable application, just wait.
Follow my twitter and you might find sneak leaks =)
To those that have been following and installing:
I am still working on an update system people... Bear with me. It will most likely not come until we are out of beta
What it is:
An application meant to automate all of your phone management needs through the use of ADB. If you are are more comfortable with typing out every command and don't need a easier and quicker way to accomplish it, you dont need this app. It's basically a visual adb commander. Instructions will not come until we are on a stable build. If you have not installed the drivers for your phone correctly, this application will not work. Please search the forum for tips on getting your phone recognized. In the early stages, this program will work best if you have already configured adb and have used it. It is recommended that you move adb.exe to windows/system32 in order to execute adb from any directory. Also, be sure to run this program as administrator!! There will be bugs until version hits 1.0 In later stages the application will be integrated with xda to bring you the latest ROMS to make flashing a click of a button.
Beta Process:
The newest versions will always be released to a small test group to test the efficency before being fully released. This ensures that everyone gets a stable and working application. While it sounds like it has its advantages, I do ask that you fully test and take note of changes in your system when bugs do occur. A great beta tester tries to look for errors to make it easier on the developer when tracing the root of the problem. A great beta tester, and a develpers friend =), doesn't just say a certain feature isn't working. THose who are still interested, contact me whichever way you prefer
Initial Beta Released 7/14/2009
Current feature set planned:
- ADB Detection - Complete
- ADB Installation - Complete
- Phone Detection - Complete
- Flash files with ease - Complete
- Advanced file manager - Complete
- Drag and Drop Files - Complete
- Parition SD Cards
- Multiple Nandroid Backups

if you can just make a program for
- Format sd card fat32/ext2/3
i will love you!
Other than that, this sounds really cool and would be very useful! Good luck on it and hope to see it soon especialy with the daily Rom updates hahahaha

i agree
this should all be possible but most likely using the sdsplit method. I will do some testing on some spare sd cards I have
that would be cool. I guess you can make an adb bat script to download and install the sdplit.sh and then run it. That would be possible
EDIT: You should also add a nandroid backup and restore option. There is already a GUI for it but if you integrate it with your program i would use it constantly!
Id say add the linux-swap creation too. Cause it seems to be the future in how we all partition it now. Side request tho, FTP backup/restore option, I know since Im between home and work, I upload everything to my FTP. Now that would be nice to have something automate that work for me so I always have it safe and can access it anywhere.
Thanks for the ideas guys. I plan on implementing them
Added nandroid backup/restore to feature list.
ADB check/install is currently coded and working
Edit: All Done! System enviroment variables will be changed when ADB installed. Note: This will not correct the error of the driver being incorrectly installed. This happens when you dont enable debugging on your android phone and plug it up for the first time.
To fix this, you must delete some registry settings in order for adb to be recognized correctly.
This app will be made of pure win! I can't wait to see it! I know I'm new around here but I will do what I can to help this community as it has also helped me quite a bit with many different phones.
If only we could get this application completed, and a Hero ROM for the Dream, I'm pretty sure I'd drop a nut right here in this thread lol!

Thanks!
New screenshot added and FTP upload/download feature will be added to the list.
Speaking of the FTP, It might be a good idea to allow "Sync with FTP" so this way if your at work, vola it syncs with that folder kinda like a imap server. =)
Must admit, I am very impressed ^_^ Wish I could code as my previous job had positions open for it but its something that doesn't appeal to me, yet I have nothing but great admiration to those who can.
Keep up the good work ^_^

This looks like such an awesome program! Good luck!
a suggestion, contact aTrackdog, maybe you can run ties with each other. Since they have good version monitoring, info etc this could tie in possibly. Just a thought. =)

You mean tie this in with android software updates? Def. a possibility. It would make it an all-around android windows application for the Dream..
Tomorrow I will begin android backups and ftp syncing... The hardest will be handling the formatting of SD cards. I have some code (besides sdsplit) that may allow this. I have plenty of backup sd's to test this on
Ok this just looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing. I cannot wait to test this out . Good job on this. I have a question though, how does it know when there will be a new version and how would it get the changelog?

a very tricky method and a lot of code that stratefically looks through the XDA web site for changes in the original thread. The installed program will connect to an online database upon startup that checks for updates but the process that actually does the scanning will be on my pc. The application will be replicating the database server. It knows what the old changelog was so any new text will be added to the changelog.
It's a tricky procedure but its been working VERY well in my tests. Of course this wont account for new ROMS that are added so I will have to check periodically for new ROMS. The app will still allow you to flash a ROM you download.
Hopefully once it's up and running, the dev's will get involved. I can give them an app to update the information the application is pulling in. It would be a win win for devs as they can track amount of downloads..
Dude this is going to be soo sick can't wait hopefully every dev will use it
something else that could be implemented into this is a prompt or warning advisory that goes alongside each rom. like if it's a hero rom, it prompts you to make sure you have the correct spl, radio, and whatnot installed first. and if you don't have one installed, it will install the necessary things for you prior to installing the rom so that it will help prevent a brick or something.
yeah... something like that....

[Repository] Essential Hard To Find Files

Update: 9 October 2014
The links for all the files below have been pulled. I have a detailed post why located here.
Hello All !!!
Since I have been given the Moderator title and I also got a new device (SGS3 Woot!! Woot!!), I won't be around the Vibrant section too much, except maybe a drop-in here and there. I loved this phone and learned so much about how Android, Samsung and XDA works. Sad to go but as Kurt Vonnegut says, "So it goes" (Google it - It comes from a great, classic book).
Below is a almost all the files I have on my HDD and any that anyone wants to send to me. These will be hosted on my Dev-host account indefinitley, as they will never get stale and won't be deleted until I do so. The downloads are NOT fast, but they are stable and reliable.
If anyone has any files that they don't see on this list, please send me a link. I will download them and then re-upload to my Dev-Host account and you can take them out of yours before you get locked for too much traffic (i.e. Dropbox).
Please Note: This thread is a Download Thread. Everything in here is free for the taking, however the info on how, where and when to apply these is out in the fora.
Above All: All Credit Goes To The Original Creators Of Everything.
Choice is something that has been fought for, relinquished, dreamt of and lost. Here in XDA we have a choice to either use on not to use. This is YOUR choice. If YOU decide to use these tweaks, any problems that arise are YOUR responsibility. Now that is out of the way, here you are.
IF you cannot find what you want here, you most definitely will be able to find it in N00B_In_N33D's awesome thread---> [REF] The Official XDA Vibrant Bible Thread. He has put a crap-ton of work in it and please have a look at it. Also hit his Thanks as well. It's free and he deserves some recognition for his efforts, even if it is only a button click.
You can click on these and it will direct you to my Dev-Host page and will provide an MD5 Checksum there.

Thanks Woody
WOW WOOD truly amazing work on the post could not say it ne better thanks for all u do for us cheers!
Don't forget to send me any files that you may have that are not on the list above. I will be uploading a few more ROMs and all the 2.2/2.3.x kernels this weekend. It would be good for you to send what you have so that I can do it all in one night.
Just PM me a link and I will download it, re-upload it to Dev-Host and PM you back so you can delete it if you want too.
I tried to flash the Stock 512 PIT and my phone is now comepletely bricked... There goes the 150 I was gonna sell it for...
Dino, did you only flash the 512 pit? 512 only works in combination with the JFD .tar. So in pit section you put the pit file, next in the pda area you put the JFD tar file which is the full stock image, and then start odin. Try to get back in DL mode and try again. Also unselect auto reboot and check repartition. After it completes, then hold the power button for > 5 seconds
Yes... but I did figure that out and fix it. Silly mistake, sorry.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
Maybe I'll post something in the OP that this is just a download thread and that the directions on how to use them are out "there".
This weekend I will try to link all the downloads to their respective threads. That may help with any unforseen issues creeping up like above.
Anyways, Dino. Glad you made it out alive.
Great idea and resource
Thank you for this. It would be so awesome to see this for every device using this thread as a template. What a great idea and great execution.

Are my links down? I check them periodically to be sure. I know they are not the fastest, but they should still be working. Thanks for posting some mirrors though.
So yesterday I was downloading something for my Nexus5 while on my Nexus 7 (2013) that was hosted on Dev-Host (DH). As you may or may not have known, DH has implemented some sort of partnership with an ad service that wants to install an apk before you are able to hit the Download link in the center of the page. If you are on a browser like Dolphin, it will open another screen and you can deny/cancel then. But if you are on other browsers (I have multiple installed for various functionalities), it will auto-install. This has been happening for a few months now and several Users and Developers have emailed and PM'd the DH owners. XDA has reached out as well to no avail.
As I was saying, yesterday I was downloading something to my N7 and the pop up came as expected. I hit Cancel like usual, only this time it redirected my browser to another page. It said I had a Virus and that I needed to push OK to run the scan. Well, we all know how malware works and their reliance on you pushing OK. I backed out of it and closed the tab. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to know what happened. So I tried again, only this time I captured the screenshots (I'll upload later on) and the URL. I put the URL into Wheregoes.com and it was a redirect with 4 children to trkthatpaper.org. This didn't sit well with me and I instantly put Airplane mode on and ran a full virus scan on my tablet. After a bit of panic and research, I concluded that my tablet was clean.
After the past few months and last night's fiasco, I cannot in safe conscience host any of my works on Dev-Host any longer. It is to the point where I will be taking the links down in the OP and going to a public computer to delete them and my account on Dev-Host. Yes, I feel that strongly about this that I am 1) Using a Public Computer to log in and delete my works and 2) I am having my account dissolved if possible (if not, it will die on its own from being unused and stale).
I have everything in my OP still on my HDD, so if anyone wants anything, please feel free to PM me and I'll upload it to a more reputable host or you can find many of the files in @N00B_IN_N33D's [REF] The Official XDA Vibrant Bible Thread -ROMS/KERNELS/MODEMS/MODS/ETC- 12/29/13 . Most of the works in both our threads are outdated, however sometimes you need to start from scratch and trying to find the files to do so can prove to be a struggle.
I am unsticking this thread and pulling my links, but as I said above, if you need any of them please let me know.
Thank you for understanding and be safe out there.

Its saddens me to see this post get so little thanks for it, takes a hell of a lot of time to put a op like this one together let alone upload all the files. Come on people quit being ungrateful and appreciate the mans hard work that goes into this type of stuff...
The Mod-Father has spoken! Good catch Woodster, I think I still have a DH acct, but not for long if I can turn it down.

Big thanks to ej8989 for asking me to post this here for the benefit of Nexus S owners. This program supports all the Nexus devices but I had only posted it the Nexus7 thread.. Now I will maintain multiple threads although its the same program.
I will do my best to keep this program updated to support the latest builds for as long as possible. Cheers. ^_^

Right.. Sorry about that, I forgot to add that information to my site.
The updater in v1.5.4 had that problem if the toolkit was in a path with spaces in it. Just replace the Wug_Updater.exe in the toolkit directory with the new one from v1.5.5: http://wug.rootxs.com/NRT_extras/Wug_Updater.exe
Then try again, it should work without problems. it was a catch 22 for me.. I couldn't auto update the updater..lol, but now its good

After trying for over an hour and going through all three driver methods I cannot get the NRT to connect to my phone. When the phone is rebooted into Fastboot, the volume keys do not work for changing selection, and the computer does not detect anything plugged in via USB suggesting the phone freezes whenever it it put into Fastboot mode.
Model is a Nexus S i9020a running 4.1.1 on JRO03E.
This is on an ASUS K53S notebook running Windows 7 x64.

I had something similar happen to me on one machine. What I did to fix it was start at the beginning of the guide.. i.e uninstalling everything completely and rebooting my computer. Then I used driver solution#3 (RAW drivers), with a different usb port. The key is rebooting your computer after uninstalling everything.
If it persistently doesn't work, maybe I can help you out through gchat sometime.. not tonight though, I am still cranking out this next toolkit release.

Yeah I did the uninstalls and reboots. Followed the guide exactly. After it didn't work I even took the next step in killing all unnecessary system processes and disabling antivirus.
I'm going to get another notebook that's been freshly formatted and try it again next weekend.

Maybe you could try forcing the "Naked Drivers" by 1wayjonny. When you use driver solution #3 windows just scans the sub-directories of the RAW_Driver folder in the toolkit and chooses the ones it thinks are the "best".
Use this longer path instead to force it to check only in the folder which contains those universal drivers:
Code:
[NRT_TOOLKIT_DIRECTORY]\data\Drivers\RAW_Drivers\NAKED_Drivers
Let me know if that works. Cheers.

Yeah, sorry about that. I switched my site over to a dedicated IP to deal with increased web traffic and some of the new toolkit communications coming in v1.6, so the DNS needed to propagate. I still have more work to do on v1.6 but my site should be back up and running now. Hopefully the dedicated IP will help me resolve some of the web hosting issues I have been struggling with.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience and lack of communication during the temporary outage. I just was busy traveling for Thanksgiving plans.
Cheers,

This program looks to be something VERY useful, however, it seems to be a little too late for it to pick up steam, but nice to see support for dying devices
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
Thankyou for Nexus S thread!
Now I've 4.1.2, if i change to a custom rom, your tool will continue to work for flashing something or to "back to stock" function or it work only on official nexus rom?

[GUIDE] How to upgrade to EMUI 10/Android 10 Beta

Hi all,
as some already noticed, the official public Beta of EMUI 10/MagicUI 3 for the Magic 2 was released. Here is how to upgrade to it.
Please note:
There are several known issues in the beta, as listed below (translated from chinese):
The screen sometimes freezes when viewing recent tasks
After the upgrade, there is a problem that the traffic switch is turned on in the mobile phone, and when the notification bar has no notification, the flow bar of the pull-down notification bar disappears, and subsequent versions will be repaired.
After the upgrade, there is a problem entering the multi-task view. Will be fixed in further version.
After the upgrade, the gesture navigation left and right side slide vibration function is not acitve. You can keep the vibration function of sliding up into multitasking. If you want it, please go to “Settings > Sound and Vibration” More Sound Settings > System vibration feedback or vibration when clicked " and turn on the switch.
After the upgrade, the Rural Credit Bank APP will not be able to log in. Please be sure to unbind the device before the upgrade. The operation method (for reference only, subject to actual operation): Personal Center > Security Center > Device Management > Unbind, then upgrade, and then log in again after the upgrade is complete.
After the upgrade, there is a problem that the play store icon downloaded before the upgrade disappears. Please download the Google Play Store with a higher version than the current Google Play Service Updater or Google Play Store in the third-party app market (f.e. APKMirror).
Some applications are not adapted to dark mode.
GUIDE HOW TO UPGRADE
Prerequisites:
Before upgrading the beta version, please backup the important data of your mobile phone and confirm that the backup content is complete and valid. Avoid data incompatibility after upgrade or other unexpected conditions that result in data loss.
Make sure your OS number is one of the following (To check go to Settings > About Phone):
TNY-AL00 9.1.0.254(C00E222R2P1)
TNY-AL00 9.1.0.254(C00E222R1P1)
TNY-AL00 9.1.0.255(C00E223R2P1)
TNY-TL00 9.1.0.256(C01E222R2P1)
TNY-TL00 9.1.0.256(C01E222R1P1)
If not, update to newer version before
Make sure that you have more than 6G internal storage space, otherwise there will be a risk of upgrade failure (To check go to Settings > Storage).
Make sure your phone is not rooted.
Steps to update:
Open your Huawei Club App

Open the top thread (only logged in user can open the thread)
Scroll down and click on the blue button the register for the beta program
Accept the two licenses by clicking on the right (blue) button after the time is up
Click on the blue button. With this you download a Beta Profile. It will be automatically installed on your phone. Now you get Beta OTA Updates.
Go to Settings > System > System update > Search for Updates
There should be the Update for EMUI 10. Please read the note as there are some important information in it (If you don't see the update wait 5-10 minutes).
If you can't log into the Huawei Club App do the following steps:
Go to Settings > Huawei ID and sign out
Create new Huawei ID with Region set to "Mainland China"
Sign in with your email and verify over your phone number (must not be chinese number).
Open the Huawei Club App, you should now be logged in automatically (if not delete cache and data and try again)
After the update is installed you should be on Android 10 with EMUI 10/MagicUI 3. Install a new Play Store apk (link above). Maybe some apps are not upgraded yet and don't function as before.
Thanks!!!!!

Just log out on the phone under Settings > Huawei ID > Sign Out
Then go again to Settings > Huawei ID > Register
Just follow the process and choose the region. After you validated through your phone number and email address you are automatically logged in in your HUAWEI club app.
Thank you very much for your answer, I restart at the beginning and all worked find now. A bit disappointed, due to th no possibility to use nova launcher. I REALLY FRUSTRATED by that and ready to change to vivo nex 3. Hopping I will do not have the same issue.

- You cannot repack firmwares.
- Can't extract F2FS/EROFS ROMs
- Can't use hexpatches like bluetooth/ICD/RKP/DEFEX, etc...
Can I use it on more than 1 PC?
- No, but PM me and we'll find a solution.
Where is the source of this tool?
- Sorry but this project is not opensource and you cannot use it as a base for other projects.
I found this tool cracked somewhere or I'm using it on more than 1 PC and it's not blocked...
- Any bad usage of this tool will ban you forever with no refund in case you did. All the connections have a log so don't think that if you bypassed it once will be forever.
Can I get a refund if I don't like it or doesn't work for me?
- Nope, you have the free version to test basic things.
I built images on your kitchen but they are not working on my custom ZIP.
- Sorry but I cannot help everybody on their own ZIPs. To report a non-working image, use the ZIP generated by dKitchen, and if it's broken there, report to me.
My device needs more editions to boot and dKitchen didn't patched them all.
- Due to the amount of firmwares, I cannot check 1 by 1, there is no guarantee that it contains all the editions required to boot.
- If you'd found something that must be patched to boot, please tell me and I'll add it ASAP to help other users.
It throws an error when unpacking F2FS / EROFS firmwares on WSL2, how to fix it?
- WSL2 kernel by default doesn't supports those filesystems, so, you need to use a custom kernel that supports it. I'll share one and post it on the first reply.

Awesome work as always brotha
Awesome bro, really great job
Congratulations on the release!
It's just f.. great!
Amazing work, looks very well put together, cannot wait to get the enhanced features activated. I have downloaded the files and read through the post, as well asa few searches to see if anyone had luck with it on a sm-g950u or sm-g981u.
I have been tinkering with the s8 for 1 or 2 years and the s20 for about a month. Turns out its more difficult to soft brick or what have you then I imagined. many family members use samsung devices and as they upgrade i get the old, (im addicted to technology) Your genius skills may have just added the ultimate tool to my bag. looking forward to learning it does work with one or both of them. The s20 has been very interesting, compared to others, and samsung seem pretty solid securing these from root exploits. Again I Thank you.

Because there is no much documentation about it, there are not public binaries which you can just download and unpack/repack, and there is no info at all. Building for Android (moreover Samsung) is not the same and simple as install some dependency and use 2 commands. And, it's not AOSP where you have all the sources. So, if you consider that this has been months and months of coding and testing to make it working in "just" a script, yes, it's something worth to pay.
Anyway, nobody is forced to buy it, so, feel free to buy or leave.
Thanks.

Please, don't sell your organs on XDA we don't allow buying or selling on this forum, and I'm not sure Swappa accepts kidneys as payment
