Hello.
I installed avatar rom v2.5b and the ozgurceen theme.
Now the bootanimation of the rom has changed but I like the original avatar bootanimation and want it back.
I looked for the bootanimation.zip in /system/media and there is the correct zip file.
Can anyone help me how to get the original animation back?
Are you looking for original LG bootanimation (from Stock Rom) or are you looking for last (old) bootanimation (avatar rom)?
If you looking for last (old) bootanimation writte the OP he can give you this back (i think)

Hello,
I want to include a theme in my own custom ROM, but if I include all files directly to the ROM my phone freeze after bootanimation with vibration.
Exemple of theme : Steelblue 3.1
My ROM : JS5 Deodex by me (for testing, full JS5 no apps removed)
I've try this steps :
Flash my rom, reboot, recovery, flash theme : it's ok
Flash my rom and after flash theme without reboot : freeze after bootanimation
Flash my rom with theme include : freeze after bootanimation
Any idea ?

I've tried another test :
Include "system\framework\*.apk" from a doc's rom theme (generation X) => don't freeze after boot
Include same *.apk (or full content) from original generation X 1.14 => freeze Apply the .zip from this theme after 1st boot work's fine...
So I think rom's cooker make a modification in original apk, but what ? I d'ont find with search function. I've tried to include res folder and resources.arsc from zip'theme to the deodex framework-res.apk, it's the same thing.

I've found the solution, if some people search for this problem :
The APK in framework et app folder must be resigned.
If they are not correctly signed, the installation does'nt work at the 1st boot.
I've seen one before on another ROM but I don't remember which - just wondering if anyone has a professional/stock looking boot screen which just has the Android logo or the Android word?
You can get the stock bootanimation by deleting the bootanimation.zip from the /data/Local folder.

I have just made the changing of boot animations easier for everyone!
With this small AROMA script, you won't have to copy and paste or
replace or push things anymore; no more root explorers and computers!
Instructions:
Put the bootanimation.zip of your choice into the root of the downloaded zip
(you will have to replace the one already inside) and flash it in your recovery! Its that easy!
For changing of boot animation audio (only HTC Sense supported currently), put the android_audio.mp3
of your choice into the root of the downloaded zip (you will have to replace the one already inside too)
Inside the AROMA Installer, make sure you choose the two options correctly (Phone with or without HTC Sense)
because it not only changes the theme but also determines where the boot animations is.
If you do not have a qHD device, DO NOT flash this directly without changing the bootanimation.zip inside it first. I put a
qHD HTC boot animation inside, so if your phone's screen size isn't qHD, it will look quite ugly.
Sharing policy:
You are allowed to share this ZIP and/or any part of it as long as money is not involved (e.g. selling).
If you are a boot animation maker, you are allowed to put your boot animation in this ZIP and
share it, but you will have to mention me or my brother's name (KaiJun or kaienchua971, relatively)
and/or post a link to this very page.

" It is better because this doesn't backup other boot animation." I don't really understand what you mean but I edited the script to backup the boot animation onto the SD card and I'm probably uploading it a few minutes later.

To change bootanimation go to /system/media here a zip named bootanimation.zip Replace this file to change your bootanimation.
For bootanimations go to XDA/android/themes here search for bootanimations.
