Hello, my friend bought Z and I asked him to do an exchange for 2 days.I gave him my T and he the Z.So for those 48 hours i have been sleeping 16 hours in total.32 hours are not enough to learn How Z's firmware behave so i tryed to put my experiance from 2011 line and a little from the time I have T. And I kinda succeded in tweaking the Z. But thats the easy part, since the Z is xxdpi it was pain in the a** to vectorise all aosp xdpi images. And thats where my time went, at last I had problems making the actualy rom into one. So i split it into two parts becasue of the aosp apps i used. Thats fixable but it needs more time. I will get Z someday but as for all of us the money is the problem. So please show some respect and support me if you like my contribution to your amazing phones. Also please consider Donating. And just to say I am 14 and its not easy for me to do all that stuff because of school and so on

Looks nice so far. I'm restoring apps now and will flash some mods, after a bit more testing I will edit again.
EDIT: couldnt find any bug so far, everything seems to work. Speed is nice, cant complain until now.
EDIT 2: Found a bug; when starting Walkman.app the phone starts to lag and until I restart it wont work properly.
Looks promising.... I will wait to see what others report back with before trying this ROM.

Good Stuff. It flashed successfully and all that but when it booted, at the setup guide, it failed to recognise my SIM card. When ejected the SIM tray and re-inserted it, it gave that new SIM card message and rebooted. But again upon boot, it failed to recognise my SIM. It works on other ROMs though.

Did you folowed instructions. And that isnt rom dedicated if the rom is sony based. Flash stock fw with flashtool and see if you have sim. If you have. Flash my rom and you will still have sim. If not request new sim from your operator

What do you mean by that. It doesnt lag. My rom isnt compatible with the mod or...?
I can only suspect what the issue is. I dont have the Z. I asked my friend and he said that he doesnt experiance any lag while listening to music or just opening walkman etc.

Just tried the zip and it helped it by reducing lag but it still force closes. At least it doesn't freeze the whole system now but still not working

wipe data

I have the arc s and play and ray and I will tell you something that might help. Radio was disabled from inside the rom itself. Reason for this supposedly legal issues. I'd talk to DooMLoRD and see what he can tell you about the radio side of things. Or Bin4ry as he was the one who got radio working in the first place. Also you will experience many of reboots in the process. The rom wasn't beta. It was am alpha release. And still is an alpha release. You will probably have more luck with the leaked version also there. That one had radio activated as it is a development model build. Personally I wish you luck and best wishes as you have chosen a project that will make you pull your hair out lol. Sony Ericsson isn't the easiest of ports to make. Good luck and if you would like any help then pm me and let me know.

Well its loosely based on CM10.1 (Device files and Kernel), so I would imagine it will have the same issues as that

I've not had any issues like that, I'm going to reinstall the ROM and see if I encounter any issues, but I did flash the ROM let it boot up and then flash gapps....

I have had a look at Rootbox, but it wouldn't compile I am going to have another look though, now they've started using PAprefs as I didn't care much for the Xposed framework.... I've already done Jellybeer for it which is pretty good, which I may release
Edit: Just reflashed the rom and got a signal straight away as well as navigation buttons... Done it 3 times now and had no issues at all

Hi All!
First of all, I'm not an android developer, just someone wondering why there's plenty ROM for XT but just a little for XTX JB.
So my mind thinking that "why not porting it to TX, 'cause it share same chip?"
Based on our member asterix005 who made XT patch to XTX ICS, I tried to do the same thing, only i'ts for JB. And luckily it's done! I've been testing for one day with peetr__'s hybrid rom, and it's worked like a charm.
For installation, you need these things :
Xperia TX
Any JB ROM for Xperia T -> Install this first before applying patch!

CWM Recovery (not testing it on TWRP)
Another information, I've got unlocked bootloader with DooMKernel

Issue with xperia illumination is in liblights-core.so.
When device is powered on from sleep it invokes this lib and by default it should invoke "logo" by pressing power button or screen on but issues is that in t ROM power service doesn't call for this lib correctly.

Hi. There was a problem at my friend.
His actions:
1) Sew the patch immediately after recovery of the topic.
2) flashed firmware from T through flashtool
(already seen the wrong action)
After startup, the display is inverted, a touch will not work.
Flashing by Flashtool from TX does not help. Recovery through SEUS too. There are methods?

one thing you might want to change in updater script is touch firmware from
touch_module_id_0x32.im_ to touch_module_id_0x32.img
peetr renemed this to .im_ in his so it dosn't flash new firmware when you flash rom

It did not help. Touch screen was upside down.

TX's or T's or the one included in ROM patch ?
Use Xperia TX kernel. either stock or custom kernel

Yeah, it should. However, CWM will disappear, so you will have to reinstall.

I can't access dev-host at the moment (comes up with a 404 error), and I need to download my ROM in order to work on it.
Could anyone put their existing copy on Google Drive or something for me to re-download and work upon?

Great rom, fast and smooth. Most important of all, it can work on locked bootloader.
I lost all keyboards.There are no keyboards on my system.Please help me....In third step you are talking about flash kernel but which kernel file i have to flash????

No keyboard included... I had to connect to my Bluetooth keyboard just so i could get into Google Store to download one.
its run good no problem after 2 days. but you must add the keyboard to have a complit rom

It only allows me to do voice typing after installing. When I tried to change settings, keyboard cannot be clicked. Thank you

i just installed this rom on my tx..its good.. stable ..fast and clean. and yes this is without keyboard dont know y.this making a very hard start on it.i recomend once you install the rom immediatly install a flashable keyboard.zip...i choosed the android4.2keyboard.zip which is wonderful.
have a root and bloatware freee made it very good..to our beloved developer i ask him to provide a new vergin that have a keyboard and themed taskbar.....i installed the dooms kernel with it which make with it a verry good combinatio...waiting for an update...

Keyboard is also missing, which is confirmed by several others already.

It's just a problem that some people have when music stops playing while browsing, I've opened up a thread here as a way to eliminate what could be causing the problem. I'm not alone for sure as this is also posted on the Sony support forums:

1. Download the ROM.
2. Copy the file to your internal or external SD Card
3. Reboot into recovery and perform a nandroid backup (or your backup of choice)
4. In recovery, wipe data (perform a full wipe)
5. Browse to where you saved the files and Install the ROM
6. Reboot your phone & enjoy it!

i already use your rom in chinese website ,baidu if not mistaken. everything works fine except the xposed framework didn't work. I'd already tried many time rebooting after install the xposed but still don't work at all. hope u can explain how to solve it

Installed the rom..and for me sim work..I'm on Cosmote romania and I have signal. Rom work smoth,battery is good but GPS don;t work . this rom will be for daily use . **** touchwizz-lag.
