Hi All!
First of all, I'm not an android developer, just someone wondering why there's plenty ROM for XT but just a little for XTX JB.
So my mind thinking that "why not porting it to TX, 'cause it share same chip?"
Based on our member asterix005 who made XT patch to XTX ICS, I tried to do the same thing, only i'ts for JB. And luckily it's done! I've been testing for one day with peetr__'s hybrid rom, and it's worked like a charm.
For installation, you need these things :
Xperia TX
Any JB ROM for Xperia T -> Install this first before applying patch!
this patch
CWM Recovery (not testing it on TWRP)
Another information, I've got unlocked bootloader with DooMKernel

Version R3 fixed updater script, delete XT "touch_module_id_0x32.img" rather than "touch_module_id_0x32.im_"
Everything is working. But not on the inscription Xperia
yup.. that's the only thing that not works..
I tested on [ROM] Xperia Curiosity v2.7 [07-05-2013] [UltraLite]
It totally works, except for not burning labels Xperia.
Nope ideas how to fix this?

Issue with xperia illumination is in liblights-core.so.
When device is powered on from sleep it invokes this lib and by default it should invoke "logo" by pressing power button or screen on but issues is that in t ROM power service doesn't call for this lib correctly.

Hi. There was a problem at my friend.
His actions:
1) Sew the patch immediately after recovery of the topic.
2) flashed firmware from T through flashtool
(already seen the wrong action)
After startup, the display is inverted, a touch will not work.
Flashing by Flashtool from TX does not help. Recovery through SEUS too. There are methods?

I'm sorry bro.. I don't have that problems. did you recheck your internet connections?
one thing you might want to change in updater script is touch firmware from
touch_module_id_0x32.im_ to touch_module_id_0x32.img
peetr renemed this to .im_ in his so it dosn't flash new firmware when you flash rom

It did not help. Touch screen was upside down.
and which kernel should i use?
TX's or T's or the one included in ROM patch ?
Use Xperia TX kernel. either stock or custom kernel
You need to flash stock ics ftf file for tx

Hello, my friend bought Z and I asked him to do an exchange for 2 days.I gave him my T and he the Z.So for those 48 hours i have been sleeping 16 hours in total.32 hours are not enough to learn How Z's firmware behave so i tryed to put my experiance from 2011 line and a little from the time I have T. And I kinda succeded in tweaking the Z. But thats the easy part, since the Z is xxdpi it was pain in the a** to vectorise all aosp xdpi images. And thats where my time went, at last I had problems making the actualy rom into one. So i split it into two parts becasue of the aosp apps i used. Thats fixable but it needs more time. I will get Z someday but as for all of us the money is the problem. So please show some respect and support me if you like my contribution to your amazing phones. Also please consider Donating. And just to say I am 14 and its not easy for me to do all that stuff because of school and so on

Looks nice so far. I'm restoring apps now and will flash some mods, after a bit more testing I will edit again.
EDIT: couldnt find any bug so far, everything seems to work. Speed is nice, cant complain until now.
EDIT 2: Found a bug; when starting Walkman.app the phone starts to lag and until I restart it wont work properly.
Looks promising.... I will wait to see what others report back with before trying this ROM.
Gonna keep my eye on it....

Good Stuff. It flashed successfully and all that but when it booted, at the setup guide, it failed to recognise my SIM card. When ejected the SIM tray and re-inserted it, it gave that new SIM card message and rebooted. But again upon boot, it failed to recognise my SIM. It works on other ROMs though.

Did you folowed instructions. And that isnt rom dedicated if the rom is sony based. Flash stock fw with flashtool and see if you have sim. If you have. Flash my rom and you will still have sim. If not request new sim from your operator

What do you mean by that. It doesnt lag. My rom isnt compatible with the mod or...?
I can only suspect what the issue is. I dont have the Z. I asked my friend and he said that he doesnt experiance any lag while listening to music or just opening walkman etc.

Just tried the zip and it helped it by reducing lag but it still force closes. At least it doesn't freeze the whole system now but still not working

Yeah, it should. However, CWM will disappear, so you will have to reinstall.

Great rom, fast and smooth. Most important of all, it can work on locked bootloader.
I lost all keyboards.There are no keyboards on my system.Please help me....In third step you are talking about flash kernel but which kernel file i have to flash????

No keyboard included... I had to connect to my Bluetooth keyboard just so i could get into Google Store to download one.
its run good no problem after 2 days. but you must add the keyboard to have a complit rom

i just installed this rom on my tx..its good.. stable ..fast and clean. and yes this is without keyboard dont know y.this making a very hard start on it.i recomend once you install the rom immediatly install a flashable keyboard.zip...i choosed the android4.2keyboard.zip which is wonderful.
have a root and bloatware freee made it very good..to our beloved developer i ask him to provide a new vergin that have a keyboard and themed taskbar.....i installed the dooms kernel with it which make with it a verry good combinatio...waiting for an update...

It's just a problem that some people have when music stops playing while browsing, I've opened up a thread here as a way to eliminate what could be causing the problem. I'm not alone for sure as this is also posted on the Sony support forums:

I just flash it the hong Kong firmware since was relased about 6 june aprox and i recieve that update over the air via wifi 9 mb until now i dont see any differene just 3 new apps

Well i forgot to tell you all TX users that i've found a fix for device Power off ! i was facing a real annoying problem that when i switch device off it didnt ! it was doing Restart and also even i tried to do that again it gives restart commend , now i think after this update it became working well .
but WHY SONY didnt give a Lock Screen for the TX till now !! that really strange thing

I am having real bad issues with roms on my Sony Xperia TX (LT29I) trying to update to official firmware but I can only update to official firmware if I relock my bootloader.
Any ways to re-lock the Sony Xperia TX Bootloader?

It just inverted LCD display ,touch glass still normal I mean 3 key home,back,mutiltask still near XPERIA logo not near Sony logo

Don,t be afraid. I think you have flashed a ported T rom to TX. Do the follow:
1. Flash the new rooted deodexed ROM for TX from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44351297 ( http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23060877489998414 ) Restart. In case when problem don't disappear, reflash one of following kernels:

not success with xperia T rom
// PS i had try with stock rom,all solution but it still inverted,just LCD inverted touch glass still normal i mean home,back and mutiltask position is bottom near xperia logo
if problem is display so it is very odd
I have been had this problem...
And I tried anything but no useful.
Finally I go to replace.my touch screen...

Have you tried to do a FULL wipe (cache, Dalvik, system, data) BEFORE reinstalling these ROMS?. This is a software problem, not a hardware problem, really! No software couldn't reverse the hardware circuitry in the phone!

Yes I have try format system,data,cache,sdcard then up TX stock root rom or reflash stock rom through flashtool but it still revert that is odd,somebody had been same this problem and they replacement display !

I have try {TX}[ROM][JB4.2.2] LOVINS PAC With Xperia Z Ultra/Honami Firmware and add ro.sf.hwrotation=180 into build.prop then after boot screen had been normal but still revert in cwm or logo Sony boot , camera on this rom not work

Hi guys. Sorry for my English. I have such problem on my TX after flashing a custom Rom. i tryed to use my backup but it was still upside down. Than i had install first AOKP and than CM 10. And now i have got upside down recovery but normal work after system dounload. Also waiting for fix

I just now made an experiment. I flashed the AOKP Rom from link above, and than flashed ggaps and PATCH T to TX, and i get also upside down, so i think it`s possible to fix build.prop, but it`s need to know how insert those lines about screen 180. if there was any clever person hwo can made it...

If is not supported, CWM robot is not BL fell to the ground, but you can try to repair the script

Z1 Camera integrated
many more updates
u deserve trying
an unlocked bl required
but some wrong layouts appear in Packageinstaller.apk ,like other sony devices running 4.3
and this apk cant not be decompiled correctly

its not an official kernel so you should unlock bootloader if u want this leak version

I think, that you must already install root and recovert, it's like you install stock 4.1.2 stock FW by FlashTool and lost SU and Recovery

oh hell. install failed, and after that device stuck on sony logo. no recovery anymore((( flashing original firmware

but first of all u should have an UL BL and a kernel with any recovery
new kernel will be automatically installed after flashing ROM
and no rec included in this kernel like leaked T 4.3
and do not update the superSU after boot
or u can flash a SuperSU pack right after flashing ROM
btw 132kernel with rec has been released
some one others test it?any bugs?any problem.Can I install this Rom?
