For gaming, choise gamerzrom
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app

ROM opens first when I installed the game fine. of the programs loaded the game I'm playing, but froze to death
installed on the phone CyanAOSP and CyanCore 2.4.1
How can I solve it. The problem is the third part applications, right?
or am I wrong?

Belive me, all the custom kernels are pretty much the same when it comes to frames per second in games, the only thing you have to be shure to do if you relly want to boost fps is disable all gps and location functions...I dont know why but it really impacts the performaces...
Anyway i suggest you the lastest c-rom mix v16 by aways that comes with semaphore kernel.
Or you can go for the stable cm10, cm stock kernels most of the time have better performances in games in my opinion.
And also its always better to leave the stock kernel of the rom you are installing...Always in my opinion

If you ask about gaming ROM then GamerzRom is the answer
This my benchmark for GamerzROM v.2
look at 3d graphic score mate

GamerzRom all the way
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app

You can reach the score reached by 5aaled also with c-rom without oc to death your phone, only 10 %.... anyway i think that is not the benchmark that counts but you really understand the performances of a rom after u use it for dealy use.
I used roms with scores of 5500 and more but when it comes to general performaces in dealy use and gaming the result is not high like the one that the benchmark tells you..
This is just my opinion

we all know benchmarks are not reliable, games are best tests and they work great on it, i post benchmark for people who like it
btw this is the best 3d graphic score i had from all other roms, The best one of them has given me 19xx
just try it, i'm sure you will like it

I am going to try the new version of gamerzrom because they updated the cm rom and the changelog for the base was quite impressive...memory leaks fix also...I think is the 2.1 version...I was not so impressed by the 2.0 did u spent tkme with the c rom mix 16? Its a first build with new base and of course there are some minor problems...I suggest u to try also the lastest liquidsmooth relase wich is the base for c rom now..very nice and smoot

As I said before, benchmarks are not reliable you can get 5500 or 4200 or even less...just try to play something and you will get better results...there is also an app to mesure fps in games...I dont remember the name just look for it...then you will really get something reliable.

jw5 stock odexed, semaphore 2.7.4 kernel to boost smoothness and speed a bit, tasker to automate a few things here and there, and juice defender ultimate which gives amazing battery life in standby, easily halving the usual draining.
honest, I think you can customize your stock rom by yourself based on your needs and be more than statisfied

Does it have RTL add-on ? Cuz this very important to me.
And btw, did u try the Hybrid v14 Rom ? It is really awesome. But sometimes i have some problems in it, and i dont know if the problem is from it or from the apps that i use. I sometimes have Sleep of Death( i sometimes try to turn the screen on but it doesn't) and i face lags when playing games like angrybird Space, anf Cut the Rope.....

How is your gaming performance?

As the title says.
Im on cm7 and even simple games like temple run and cartoon quality games lag for me.
Im really not sure how to get some decent gaming performance!

I have tried this 10000 times. When im on gingerbread and run big games like mwc3 or shadowgun, it lags very much. I need nvidia plugin to run them smooth. On ics, it's like havin a sgs3

You need nvidia plugin? Is that something I can download from the play store, or is it chainfire?
It's CHAINFIRE FIRST INSTALL THE APP then search for nvidia pulgins in my opinion try an ICS rom like cm9 or slim ICS so you can play all your favourite games freely without lagging

I quite agree with this topic: I'm currently running stock 2.3.6 XXJVU ROM with CF-Root kernel, so no optimization on the part of the CPU. Games such as Contract Killer Zombies start to lag when too many enemies are displayed at the same time...
I'm thinking of upgrading to the ICS TiramiSlim RC2, I read and also got feedback from a friend, and it's one of the most efficient ICS ROMs so far...
cm9 nightly ... more than excellent
Why would ics improve gaming?

I had a lot of Problems with other Roms but this one got me hooked. Great Atutu benchmarks etc.
Im running helly bean and I can say it's the fastest rom I ever flashed, it's smooooth as hell
also I o.c my phone to 1320 mhz with 408 mb of ram, it's stable and running games without lagging . you should try it

If you want a ROM that run Games smooth, i recommand you to take a look at the "CyanAOSP".
I already tested some roms and i really like CyanAOSP, soo smooth and verry good for Gaming.
Tested on: Asphalt 7 , Real Fotbal 2013, Gangstar City, Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Asphalt 6, Earn to Die, Drag Racing, Need For Speed HP, Fifa 12 , Sky Safari and many others, No lag. and get 4400+ on Antutu.
All jb ROMs are smooth;specifically AWAYS ROMs.

[Q] LQ4 or LQB?

LQ4 or LQB which is better, more stable?
Latest...
Sent from my GT-I9070 using Tapatalk 2
Both are almost the same, but users reportrd that LQB have some lag fixed, specially in phone and camera app. Though do keep in mind to see which mod that can be supported, LQB is still new so there's not much mod here available, but most LQ4 mods are compatible with LQB, some are not. I personally use LQ4 and sticking with it until samsung release something significantly better, like per say a final stable build. Though it would be better if there's an AOSP or AOKP support for our phones.
I don't know why but LQB has been laggy for me.. I also got lots of Force Close errors too.. I noticed a lot of lags on the overall UI and in scrolling too.. that's why I switched back to LQ4 that's why..
Id say lq4..no lags with co-core e 5.0..very smooth..
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda app-developers app
Haven't use LQB before, but yes LQ4 is indeed satisfy me. Like I said I'd stick with LQ4 for now until it's worth to update. I don't like formating my phone often, cause restoring data are troublesome for me and I don't want to take chances on damaging my emmc chip
At the moment I LQB but seemed better LQ4 I just hope not to be an erroneous .. therefore I need your opinion.

Try different kernel and different combination of scheduler and governor. Every kernel have a "performance" governor.
Btw don't forget that the benchmark are not really representative of the true performance of a device.
It is always good to have some big numbers, but some benchmark apps can be hacked easily to show to incredible scores (and in particular Quadrant).

But without looking at the scores, how the performance of your phone in games with cm10.1, isn't the global interface smoother, aren't the games faster?

Did you install CM nightlies? I heard they are more bug-free and has better performance than RC versions.By the way, don't expect any custom ROMs to be faster than stock ROM for the moment, most of them has a lot of bugs or performance issues, stock ROM is the best choice for now.
