OP, you will be better off using a different hosting site such as DevHost or AndroidFileHost as dropbox tends to cut off the downloads after only a few people have downloaded it

just ask, 10.1.C.0.344 can be rooted?

Thanks. Downloading
I have a question: does tablet Z have Guest Mode?

@rankman2004, yes 344 can be rooted and will retain root after official Sony upgrade to newer version.
@cities516, no Sony's official FW is 4.1.x, multi-user is on 4.2.x.

Thanks, then can I assume i can use adb pull /system to get the system dump from current system image? Actually for SO-03E(Japan docomo's xperia Tablet Z), can not ge the ftf 10.1.E.0.244 which can be rooted, just want to know if anyone still stay at 10.1.E.0.244 can extract the system dump, share to us and we can downgrade to this firmware?

My drop box account has been temporarily suspended due to excess traffic. I am currently uploading system dump to Android file host. Shouldn't take long

Does flashing firmwares void warranty? Also does it have any effect on lets say the emic or flash storage on the phone? And lastly, isn't that 14.1.G.534 a prototype/journalist firmware?

You wont lose warranty by flashing firmwares, and no it wont affect the storage soon.

Not that I'm aware of, most ppl seem to be using supersu survival mode and putting supersu as system app then only updating through OTA to retain root. More details in tablet z general section forum

Yes, thanks for answer, I know, but I did the update from Sony PC comp. So I just have to wait....
But one more thing, do your fastboot with power off holding vol down and putting inn the USB work after 4.3? Mine does not...

heres a post about basic functions for things like fastboot

But I believe its Up volume not down volume,
You could also use flashtool to reflash an older android version for your model/region that can be rooted then OTA to more recent version to try and retain root
what changed with update

The Rom 4.2.2 1270-7937 is the original from my mobile and I do not have it, and did not backup
The Rom 4.2.2 1273-5771 I think belongs to Latin America, I live in Honduras I think that Latin American rom, is Latin and I work best
Are you sure those customization numbers are correct? What build number you want?

I don't need that I have an Emma account with access to lots of different builds etc
The OP wouldn't use it as it would give the latest version probably 4.3 not 4.2
I don't see firmware with those customization numbers maybe I don't have access.
4.2.2 1270-7937
4.3 isn't released yet i don't know anything about the other customization number

1. Not everyone have access to Emma
2. Both of those above customizations OP mentioned still on 4.2.2 and haven't received the 4.3 update yet
3. Above customizations are for C6602 not C6603
Makes sense then

There are many Jellybean firmwares available for the Z. Jellybean is 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 and there are several firmware versions available for each version of Android for the Z. The settings apk will be specific to the version you're running.
So I would suggest that you stop with the unhelpful comments if you don't actually know what you're talking about and remember that you're the one asking for help.
Edit - I see you didn't "accidentally delete" anything.

If you just wanted the settings apk from any rom, you should have just asked. Go and download a stock based custom rom from the development section and extract it from the zip. Make sure it's at least a 4.2.2 rom, as Dualshock support wasn't added until then.

Oh nooooo. You found me out. I was hoping someone would give me the app considering how easy it is with titanium backup. I already would have downloaded a stock based rom but its annoying and doesnt really need to be done. Howver since there are zero links to just the apk and no one is willing to share looks like ill have to download a rom and extract it. Man....thats annoying...

Going with the enormous amount of information you've supplied with your request, I'd say it would be a good thing to connect your XZ to PC Companion to see if an update is available. If not, maybe the firmware isn't released yet in your region.
