Going to give this a try on my RAZR M. Thanks!
Flashed it over and it went great. Obviously because of the kernel that is used on most 4.2.2 ROMs there are slight issues that just can't be addressed until a new improved kernel hopefully comes out. One is example as programs like Voxer won't be able to properly work with the mic. But, as far as this ROM it's pretty awesome with all the screen space it gives and easy way to adjust options.

is it base on cm10 or cm10.1?
if it cm10.1 based rom, is the laggy problem solved?

The lag in cm10.1 has been fixed as of 5/24/13. Dhacker released a new build with a new kernel on that day. So the lag is history.

I'm guessing this is a CM10.1 (JB 4.2.2) b/c the OP says camcorder is not working - but I have yet to download this ROM.

Apparently, you haven't used any of the recently updated CM10.1 builds. They are as good as CM10.

Been running this for a day or so and it's by far the best 4.2.2 ROM out there right now for the M. Good work!!

I have flashed many before on the unlocked razr m.
I followed the instructions, wiped, wiped, format/wipe system. then installed rom, it reboots and stuck in bootloop on boot animation. i let it sit for 10 minutes and it wont go past. any ideas? am I missing a step here?

Wipe, then reboot recovery and mount system. Mine sat for a few minutes on first boot. Did you download and install GAPPS too?
This thing is running smooth. Smoothest 4.2.2 ROM I've run.

Wipe cache, dalvik, FDR (wipe system, if you want, but I never do), reboot recovery, and mount system. Then flash away. Just a heads-up, if you flash TWRP 2.5, which Matt just posted, the wipe option will wipe cache/dalvik and FDR all at the same time.

Oh boy another ROM. I just flashed like 5 times this week. Gotta keep it together woooooooosaaaaaaah.

Issues
How is battery life is it simliar to stock or Cm 10.1 and does it have the same problems such as no camcorder and camera preview.

All CM10.1 builds if updated to the latest have the camera preview fixed. The camcorder is still not fixed according to the original post on the first page. I can't speak for the battery life as I have not had a chance to flash this ROM. But the recent CM10.1 built ROMs seem to have decent battery life.

Does rom have the same radio as the one in CM 10.1 (Unofficial). I love 4.2 but without a better radio theres no point in me using it.
Ive got the stock 4.1.2 radio, would i be able to flash that over 10.1 and get it working?

Re-flashed all is good, except bluethooth streaming. Rom is smooth, and lots of cool settings. Thanks to the devs.

Can anyone verify if Bluetooth streaming audio is working with this ROM
Thanks!

No its not working for me, none of the 10.1 Roms I've tried has bluetooth working which is a major bummer for me.
Still playing around with it though and this rom is great, with that one exception.
P.S When I hit play on the music player I just get a low hissing noise.

I noticed that LCD density is set at 184 as default. This makes everything pretty small on the screen. I changed it back to 240 through the Slim settings. Everything looks good now.

I wish people would really stop asking about battery life. You know what the answer will be, so stop asking. If you want battery life, use a stock build. If you want customization, use an AOSP build.
With that being said, I think battery life will be good for a AOSP based ROM. It runs smoothly and has some good tweaks, so I think battery will be decent.

Every single 4.2 ROM uses the stock radio, the same exact one that came in the latest update. There's no point in flashing one separately. I don't have reception issues, if you do it's not because of the radio. It's because of the kernel. The kernel and 4.2 ROMs are still works in progress. until the bugs are worked out, radio reception and battery won't be as good as stock.

Something is wrong with this build (xylon_crespo_012_12-19-2012.zip). I've made clean install twice, and i can't finish even the initial setup, because of the lag (huge lag). It takes more than 10 seconds to switch between languages. I don't know may be it's me, but i change my rom's almost every week, and I've never seen anything like this. Otherwise the first release ( the one from the old thread ) was more than good and smooth, the only problem that I have with it, was the youtube app / youtube player in the browser.

Based on my collaboration with djmatt604 and the work on my existing Mackay ROM, we bring you the AOKP experience Infamous-style!
This ROM is based on the AOKP jellybean 4.2 sources
To this we added:
-The CM device & vendor trees, adapted to our needs
-Mackay kernel
-Some CM/AOKP cherries
-A unique set of homemade patches
-A tailor-made gapps included in the zip
Changelog version 1.7.4
-AOKP source code 8-May-2013
-TRDS code, including a Dark UI toggle
-Added toggle ribbon
-Added Hidden Statusbar Pulldown
-Latest Mackay kernel
Installation instructions:
-Reboot to recovery (CWM or TWRP)
-Make a backup of your current ROM
-Wipe system
-Factory reset
-Flash the zip (no need to flash gapps separately, as it is included in the ROM)
-Reboot and enjoy!
Don't try to do a dirty flash or restore system settings using Titanium, both cause bootloops. Trust me, I have had the honour of testing this for you!

Did you tame the unicorn, btw? Or ported any tweak?
Thank you, your roms are truly appretiated.
Awesome kasper!! Your 4.2.2 ROMS are the best . I´m going to try it now!
Just one question : Why you don´t include scripts for init.d or tweaks for build.prop or sysctl?
Hope you continue with your work cause it´s impressive.

I don't believe in scripts to improve overall performance...maybe in specific use-cases it can help, but not in general.
Well its booting faster since we can disable bootanimation,we are able to customize ui as we like,i think its great,i dont know though something, can aokp for p970 be updated when cm is updated too, even if cm10.1 gets changes for our phone spesifically?

CM10.1 and AOKP are separately updated. Important updates in CM are often quickly ported to AOKP. I use a common device tree for building Mackay ROM and AOKP, so all p970-specific changes for CM are also applied for AOKP.
I have to say that´s really good. Smooth and fast. I love more Paranoid ROMS but these is supperbbb! Great work

Same issues as all JB4.2 ROMs (battery drain relatively high, camera (especially video) buggy).
Hello, does this Rom fix the several problems with the Bluetooth or does it include all bugs from CM?
It is nice to see that some people continue to develop for our OB.

I meant JB4.2 for p970, not JB4.2 in general. On my Galaxy S, both Mackay ROM and Infamous AOKP work perfectly fine.
Wifi tether doesnt work, but usb tether is just fine. It looks fast, but lets give it a shot after instaling more apps.

So the problem is that lg has not released the appropriate drivers or that cm devs dont have time for p970?I understood that u meant p970 i just wonder why p970 has that many bugs compared to others.

PAC stands for ParanoidAndroid + AOKP + CyanogenMod. It is mainly a cm10.1 base rom with the PA features and AOKP settings.
I decided to port PAC to our GalaxyTab 7.7 after testing it for a few days on my Nexus 7. It has the status bar in Extended Desktop that I want...Although it is harder than I thought, it is done.
Cheers!
You probably need a factory reset (even from my cm10.1 and pa3) to let the AOKP services working properly.
Do aware of the eMMC brick bug!
Good luck!
5/10/2013
It is quite a while that I haven't update the ROMs. We are having a long holiday which allow me to work on my belove 7.7 again. Stuggling for a few days with cm10.2 on the flu. No luck for 4.3 yet! It just reboot after showing the lock screen...
The least I can do is to upgrade the existing 4.2.x. The cm source is mess up alot when trying 4.3 so I go directly to PAC. It is the release version of PAC now and probably the last 4.2.2 PAC. I'll try 4.3 again when I'm free...

Q: How to avoid the emmc brick bug when flashing
A: if coming from stock ics. Here is one of the easier way:
flash the rom (and gapps) in recovery. don't do factory rest and any wiping!
reset to recovery again.
do factory reset or wipe data
reset and enjoy!

Q: How to set the InCall screen to protrait?
A: In 4.2.x, the InCall screen orientation is determined by the calling card which doesn't handle rotation.
Hance remain at 0 degree (Landscape for our tab) all the time.
To set the inCall screen to portriat, you need an external app (eg. Ultimate rotation) to force Contact.apk to portriat.

Q: How to avoid error messages after a dirty flash from PA or cm10.1?
A: After a dirty flash (without factory reset), you may encounter a series of error dialog (mostly the xxx.acore.xx process).
This is deal to the mismatching layout data when attempt to sync. You may try this:
  Settings > Apps > ALL
Clearing the data of Contact Storage, Google Contacts Sync and some other apps might need sync...
If still doesn't work, it's about time to do a factory reset...

Awesome surprise
Outstanding effort as always. Thank you Sir.
Exciting work, Daniel. I'll be trying this out this weekend. Very curious to see reactions to battery life, WiFi, GPS, etc.
Hey Daniel, super excited about PAC for 7.7, thanks so much for your hard work!
Which kernel did you use for this ROM, and are previous kernels still compatible with it (e.g. kernel-a and -s from 2 jun)?

It is the kernel-s at Jun 2. The kernels I posted earlier is woking on this rom too..
Wow, great ROM(s)
Do you ever think you'll build an AOSP ROM with stock Android?
Quick share of my first impressions:
quick share of my first impressions:
Pacman ROM is booting fine on my 6810. Had been short in time and therefore just tested for 10-20 min.
I came with a dirty flash (no wipe) from PA 3.60 over (again for one day) cm 10.1 to Pacman Rom + the linked PA-gapps from june.
As usual when doing a dirty flash and experience problems with processes like “package helper” or “android.process.acore” or else: it is always useful to quickly remove the google account and clear all app data for everything which is google and framework related.
(Clearing contact storage solves for example the “acore” problem. I always clear all of the rest like package helper, google playstore, all backup things and so on and so on. – it is faster than making a full wipe)
Coming to the rom:
Everything I tried out in this short time is working fine. Wifi, Camera. Performance is good, similar to PA 3.6 (I always felt that CM10.1 is more fluid). In performance settings I had not been able to go >1400 MHz but with other tools I went back to the OC value of 1600 MHz. Hybrid settings work as they should. For testing GPS I had no time left, work was calling me back to office.
Ram consumption is a little bit high!
But next time I will choose different gapps package, because this installs tons of gapps, which I actually do not need on my tablet. And then I will look what else apps integrated into the rom is eating memory. - I like tuning!
As obviously expected “pimp my rom” is working fine and the mali-status from the i9100 brothers is not working (think it is kernel related).
Since performance of hybrid roms as PA 3.60 and now PACman increased near to a CM10.1 level, personally I think I found a new daily driver rom.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Great work Daniel! Our savior and protector of our loved 7.7 tabs! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
It is very nice to know that you now use a new rom code basis and continue the highly appreciated work. – So thankful!!!!!!!

PA3 is an AOSP base rom. Some of the cool features like PIE is not in stock AOSP rom.
Great - going to test this one out!
One thing - does it have Fast Charge in the kernel like most AOKP roms?

Can't wait for that, bcoz this rom is awesomee :good:
Briefly tested this last night. I did have to do a factory reset because of the FCs. Upon doing that, I restored my user apps with Titanium, and all seemed OK. However, I had some weirdness with the UI. For example, I did not get the "holo style" menu buttons (at the top right of the screen) in my apps, even where I'd gotten them previously (in PA 3.6). Also, PIE did not show all information (like connected hotspot and notifications). I also had trouble resizing widgets, etc. within ADW. So, I restored PA 3.6 for now so I have a usable tablet.
I'm not sure what happened. If/when I have more time to experiment, I will try again because I love all the settings options on this ROM! Seems like the best of all worlds!!!
Nice work dude, good luck keeping up with three roms tho
It's awesome rom Daniel thanks to you for super great work, I like this rom because it's have more features then pa
Thanks again.

Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
REPORT BUGS IN THIS THREAD ONLY
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow. Note: If you can provide the latest night/build that the bug didn't exist, it would greatly help in tracking down what caused it.

FAQ
Why is there no transparent status bar/lockscreen widget/"OK Google"?
Those features have been disabled by Google for low RAM device in order to save RAM. You can try enabling it by removing "ro.config.low_ram=true" from /system/build.prop, however, it is not an officially supported setup.

ROM is totaly OK.
I know it was hard work, and thank you.
BAD THINGS:
1. Its little buggy, slow, with some '' better '' kernel, it should fly.
2. Hmm, icons, are stocks like in 4.3.1 Android, except camera, settings and and voice search.
3. Menu icons, are in 6x4, it look very ugly for me.
4. Camera is buggy. - NO 720p record -
5. Status bar pulling down is buggy to.
GOOD THINGs:
1. New dialer, very good.
2. After log into play store, you got new Gallery from Google, editing pictures very exposed and good.
3. New keyboard +
4. Other 4.4 goodies.

Thanks for the review.
I can look into fresh start of kernel later on.
Remember, CM has just started work over KK sources... merging of features is still in progress and this may take some time.
According to me, it is more fluid than JB which will let me keep this as daily driver.

yeah, you are probably wright.
I,m sure that kernel will solve lots of problem.
Take look at mackay kernel on i9000 forum, he also have 4.4 KitKat ROM.
Fluid, it is, but Vanir 4.3.1 is at the moment most fluid rom on this forum.
Don't get me wrong, great ROM, love you.

Awesome ROM Neo! I'm trying it right now and its really AWESOME! Enabled ART asap; apps open quick and are generally fluid. (Hangouts stutters when scrolling though) Scrolling over to Google Now stutters slightly, but thats to be expected with the first release. This is really good! Stable enough to be daily driver for me :good:

Stock Cam working fine here with CM gapps. 720p definitely working.
To enable ok google, lockscreen widgets, and transparency in the status bar, you have to delete ro.config.low_ram=true from the build.prop. Neo mentioned this in the OP under FAQ. OK Google and the rest work perfectly fine after deleting it. :good:

How about looking 2 posts before?
So far this ROM is working excellent on Pollux in Dalvik.
Been using for two days for a total of around 24 hours and not had a single major problem. Very impressed its the slickest ROM I have used yet on 4.4.
I was using cm11 fidelity, then got a random reboot halfway through a game and got stuck in bootloop so thought I'd give this a try.
For anyone having issues, I had flashed cm11 fidelity inc mods then booted into CWM, didn't reflash kernel from laptop (no access at minute) just factory reset and wiped cache and dalvik cache.
Not major but once orr twice on MX player had the common sound bug, where the sound seems to stall for half a second, didn't have this on fidelity but had it on every other 4.4 ROM. One other issue is if you get a notification with headphones in, it still plays through loudspeakers too.
Very well done with this ROM guys thank you.
I dirty flashed it and i dont know why people says to modify first post i got it first try and apparently im not the one...
Well, someone else having trouble to mount SD?
I tried then a clean install and same thing, and also tried it with omni kernel...same thing, also no sd access from rom.

Could someone please test this new boot animation it is sized for this tablet, it is not flashable you will need to manually replace it, rename the 2560.zip to bootanimation.zip
