Combo Case/BT keyboard recommendations - Nook HD, HD+ Accessories

Looking for recommendations on a good leather case/BT keyboard combo for the Nook HD+.
I'd like one that works with both stock Nook HD+ and with HD+ with CM10.1.
I found one on Amazon, sold under three different brands @ about $35. Anyone using it?
Thanks.

I have the Poetic keybook case / keyboard combo which I think is one of the three cases. The case seems to be made OK although I think it is synthetic not real leather. It has the magnet to wake / sleep the tablet on case open/close and the rechargeable keyboard is also removable held in with magnets. The keyboard works well with both CM & the stock nook android, although if you go back and forth between the 2, it seems that you need to re-pair the keyboard & nook each time you switch OS'es for it to work.

How is the grip? I bought a stand case and it is so slick I an afraid I am going to drop the tablet.

It's a soft "leather-like" textured material so as long as your hands are not damp, it's good. This particular case only stands in landscape though.

Book or Nook Like Cases

Hello,
I would like to find a case that will fit my Elocity A7. I am looking for one that is something like a Barnes & Noble Nook Case or any Ereader case for that matter. Something that will fit or at least not be bulky. My point is has anyone found working accessories for their Elocity A7
cases
I ordered two cases from Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310278043272
I should have them in a couple of days.
I'll post a report then.
Jazz- that looks like a pretty good case. Looking forward to your review.
I'm hesitant to buy a case like that for fear that the A7, with its huge bezel, won't fit in it. The bezel basically makes it longer than most 7inch tablets.
I ultimately just went and bought the Nook Color sleeve at Barnes and Noble. It took a bit of stretching to get the sleeve to zipper over the A7 but it fit nonetheless. Hopefully, in time, it will just stretch.
If I can get a case like that one on eBay to fit perfectly, I'd buy it.
i found a neoprene softshell zipper case at Kohl's. its for any generic universal ereader for $10.

I'm going to check Best Buy / Target / etc in the next couple of days... I'll take the tablet in to be sure. Will report back after!
BTW - Huwaei Tablet Zagg screen protector from best buy should fit our devices pretty well. I had one on my Archos and it worked well with a slight trim. The elocity is a tad bigger, so I imagine it first nice without a trim. (I haven't tried yet, I'll try to check this out too)
7" keyboard case
USB Tablet Size Mini-Keyboard Case for 7" Tablet PC w/ Faux-Leather Case (google search for those words)
I ordered this and got it the other day. Absolutely loves it. Protects it and works great. It is really nice. I will do a full review video maybe tomorrow or so.

Hi, my husband has a Sony PRS-950SC reader daily edition, and bought a neoprene zip case for it at Best Buy.
I tried it on my A7 and it fits very well, they're similar in size. However, there are no pockets or anything.
edit:
I found one at Walmart: a black Griffin neoprene envelope-flap type case for $14.99. It's a snug fit but it works well, good padding and not a lot of bulk. There is no zipper and it *just* fits. Good for carrying inside another bag, purse, etc. but no belt loop or handle for using alone.
tried to post photos but I'm disallowed, sorry.
Zip Sleeve Case (Black) to Protect the eLocity A7 Touchscreen 7-Inch Android 2.2 Tabl
I like the CaseCrown Faux Suede Zip Sleeve Case with a large pocket for A7 accessories on the zippered on the outside. Well padded for those occassional drops.
On Amazon...

Please check it out
I got the Crown Case, a neoprene sleeve, and the generic android nook-like hard case from ebay, referenced in this post. I like them all, and the A7 in the hard case fits perfectly in both the Crown Case and the neoprene sleeve, for extra protection. I'm really pleased.

Ideas for a case/protection

I recently bough a Nook Color and am trying to see what case I want to buy. Does anyone know if there is just a simple Silicone Cover that also has a kickstand similar to the EVO phones?
I would like to get something slim so that the device still fits in my pocket but I also want it to stand both portrait and landscape mode.
Please let me know if there is anything you might recommend.
Thanks
I couldn't decide what case to buy so just impulse bought this case on Ebay.
"PDair Black Genuine Leather VX1 Case for Nook Color"
I would love to give you a link, but the forum prevents me at the moment until I have posted 10 messages.
It hasn't arrived yet, so I can't comment on its quality. I chose it over the others as it looked okay and would not be bulky. However, obviously it gives no protection when the device is in use.
I myself am a huge fan of holster type cases. i have the franklin sleeve from barnes and noble and LOVE IT, cant post links yet google "barnes and noble franklin sleeve" and it will be your first hit
Check Amazon
They have a lot of different ones there. Check this one out. Seems like a pretty good one.

Best buy has a soft cloth style case. Its perfect. By the ereaders. Also my buddy gave me the idea of cutting the ipad screen cover and trimming it to fit the nook screen. You can make two!!!!
Silicone Skin for Nook Color
Kick Stand
These are all nice suggestions. Thank you. I am still trying to find a case with a kick stand.

How long until keyboard cases are out? Galaxy tab 2 cases?

Is there any Keyboard case out for the Nexus 10? Maybe we can find a Galaxy Tab 2 Keyboard case that fits.
I picked up a Kensington expert multi angle folio keyboard case and it works well.

How secure does it hold the tablet? I see it has some type of a "grip pad." Is it secure enough to use in your lap?
The grip pad feels secure, but the case itself is... you know how the ipad smart cover folds under itself to create a triangular stand? This is kind of the same concept. It's not a rigid clamshell style case. I think it's probably better suited to being used on a desk/table. I did try it in my lap; it feels kinda floppy. Don't think the tablet would come off, but still... I like it because I can pop the tablet in/out quickly and easily. I like the naked tablet feel when I don't need the keyboard

Looking for a silicone or rubber slip on case for the nook HD+

Just bought the HD+, running cm10 from sdcard and now I need to get rolling on accessories. Anyone turn up a slip on case? I'm not really into the leather trapperkeeper style.

That is a TPU case. It is flexible but is more of a hard rubber type case. I could not find ANY soft silicone cases for the Nook HD+. There are a couple of decal type skins out there which applies on like the wet type screen protector. Don't know how well they protect. I'd go with the TPU if it's between the two.

I got the tpu case in today. Seems like shipping took forever. I give the case about a 7/10. Closest I could find to black was a smoke color. Its kind of a clear gray color. It fits, loosely. The sides are not very tight. Its not gonna fall off the tablet but its easy to roll the case off the sides with your thumbs. I can't speak for the drop protection, seems like it might be OK. Sure makes it easier to grip, and not bulky like the leather trapper keeper style cases.

Mine just came today. I found out that the same thing was listed on amazon by the sameguy for a couple of dollars cheaper (not that it was expensive to begin with). Same impression as you, it is loose and not that tight. Don't like the bottom where there is one very long opening for the sd card slot and data connector. Makes things very loose down there. Definitely less bulk than my cover, good for home use, but I would put on my cover whentaking it with me somewhere.
Silicone Case
I know this is an old thread but since it was pertinent...
I got the Poetic GraphGrip Silicone Case in black for my HD+. Fits well but does add a bit more bulk, mainly thickness wise, than other silicone covers I've used on other devices. The square graph pattern is pronounced. Edges and back are well protected. Seems like it will be great protection in anything but a flat fall directly on the screen. This is the only silicone sleeve I can find. I wish there was one without the graph pattern.
I have a folio type cover but will likely only use that if traveling. I prefer to use a dedicated stand at the desk or tabletop and so need protection on the device like this in combination with a zipper sleeve or bag for carrying.

I also purchased the Poetic Graph Grip Silicone case for the same reasons, and I'm glad I did. Some people complained that the bottom is loose but I do not see that, it has cut outs for the power cord and the memory card slot so when accessing the ports it will flex a little but it's definitely not loose. I found this sleeve on amazon that fits perfectly with the case.
http://www.amazon.com/Mivizu-Sleeve...e+for+Apple+iPad+5,+Amazon+Kindle+Fire+HD+8.9
The outside is nylon and feels very well made. The sleeve's height is spot on and only leaves about .75 extra space for the width.

Best Accessories for Nexus 10?

Hello,
I'm most definitely buying a Nexus 10 this weekend. What are the best accessories for it?
Most importantly I am looking for a dock/kickstand and a case. Can you people recommend any?
Thanks,
Crazysah
http://www.amazon.com/IPAD-ST-Universal-Tablet-Stand-Kindle/dp/B0045JNBNU is a pretty nice basic stand that works fine.
Any other recommended accessories out there?
The Moko Slim-Fit (note, NOT ultraslim) is a great case with the ability to act as a kickstand at multiple angles.

+1 for the Poetic Hardback. I have a smart cover and a silicon case, but keep going back to the Hardback.
I would also recommend getting a POGO cable. Some question the price/value, but at this point it is the only option and I have found it quite useful in terms of somewhat faster charging and less wear on the micro usb port.
If you use screen protectors, you can just leave the one on that it ships with unless you want an anti-glare protector.
Get the SGP screen protector. Absolutely beautiful.

I've heard a lot about the Moko Slim-Fit versus the Poetic Hardback? Not exactly sure which is better.
So that is for the case. Both have kickstands right? So no need for a dock then?
And the POGO cable, yes, I'll get it.
Anything else I should for?

There are no true docks available for this device yet that I am aware of.
The Hardback case can be configured to prop the tablet open to several angles with the top cover laying flat in front of the screen. That might work differently than what some people think of as a kickstand, which to me is something that opens from the back to prop the tablet up and nothing lies in front of the screen. The problem with either style is that the POGO connector is on the bottom, so you might end up using the micro usb for power or maybe flip the screen upside down in the case, but then the power and volume buttons are on the bottom and you have the POGO connector sticking out on top. We really want a true dock for this soon...
Okay. The only question now is, The Moko Slim-Fit or the Poetic Hardback?
Why the poetic have that ugly cross on it ... Little macabre

I have the moko slim-fit, here's a quick run-down:
It's quite a good looking case, with various different colour options (I took orange). The PU material did not come stinking of catpiss, is very well made and shows no signs of wear after some use.
It has magnets that wake/sleep the screen and it can prop the tablet up at various angles.
It has a really nice microfiber interior, which will never scratch the screen and feels pleasant to the touch.
All the ports are exposed and easily accessible, as well as the buttons (this is not true for the poetic).
I also read that the corners on some peoples' poetic cases would crack.
Those are pretty much the reasons why I bought the Moko and I am more than pleased with it. Excellent case.

I would say the exact same thing about mine. It is a great feeling case especially when opened with the lid behind. It also has the little elastic to hold it fully open as well as the hand slip which I use at work all the time
