Hi, Welcome to AlienDroid 3.0. The previous versions of AlienDroid were extremely succesful I decided to update the ROM and give it life again, but this time for the Nexus 4. This ROM focuses mostly on the user experience and not silly benchmarks or useless optimization. The Nexus 4 is perfectly capable of handleing Android 4.2 without any of the optimization that all the other ROMS are giving it. I made this ROM to appeal to the user in Speed, Stability, and Featurefull. This ROM is extremely fast and has lots of little tweaks that make it so speedy. It also has incredible stability as its built off the latest stable Cyanogenmod. Last but not least this ROM has really cool features and tweaks that you won't find anywhere else. I really hope you enjoy this ROM.

Go into settings, Display, then rotation. Enable 180 then disable it. Its a bug ill get it fixed by next release.

AlienMods is almost done. Ill upload a few mods to it before releasing an update to the ROM to enable AlienMods.

I have very slow internet it took all day to upload the ROM. If anyone wants to post a mirror ill be more than happy to add it to the OP.
extremely tempting, but I'll stick to crDroid/Carbon because of the lack of features. But it's a great ROM.

I just wanna give you some advice I'm in no way trying to disrespect you so I beg you to not take what I have to say as an attack its just constructive advice thank you.
With that out the way I gotta tell you your ROM is so freaking fast its amazing but when I get to the tweaks there nil to none me personally I feel that I got a nexus 4 if I was to stick any ROM including stock the hardware alone will get me though anything I throw at it its nice to find faster ROMs but just because a ROM is fast that's not an excuse to lose all the customizations I'm just saying thank you again and as I said before I'm not trying to disrespect you in any way

You should change the Build Prop the Android Version is still Blandroid 2.3.4p0
But as an quick response to upcoming users, I think here was made a clean Job so happy flashing

So is this confirmed with this ROM? I'm having current issues with CM7 so contemplating flashing back to stock-ish ROM. This one looks pretty promising as it'd be nice to have 2.3.4 but still have some extras . But does the video chat not work on here even with updated gapps? What if you start the call in silent? Thanks! Glad to see yet another developer here!
I will have a look on the gtalk video today. I don't use it so I haven't testet it.

definitly not. i am using launcher pro since i have the nexus s and had never any FC's or frezzes.

Mate, this is not based off his ROM or anything. I ported it all myself, but yes I did use his work as inspiration ofc. It is based on .587 unlike his older release so most stuff was incompatible to begin with.
An AOSP themed Sony ROM is going to always be similair to other ones, but Im hoping to port more things and make it more unique.

Its not a copy!
YOU should first make a good ROM, BEFORE spamming other threads with useless ignorant comments.
And Yes, 95% of all stock based ROMs are made with 7ZIP...
This is NOT made with 7zip by putting other people work together and calling it a ROM. (Mine also not cuz' i follow the same thing, a unique rom )

Hi, running smooth for the past 12 hrs....on my s2g.........battery is fantastic....will update feedback after 12 hrs....ROM is light and easy with all the right apps....:good:

Actually CM and CM based ROMs have had that issue up until the very latest nightly. Slim fixed it a while ago on their own ago because they don't use CM sources. Give the dev some time to incorporate what CM just fixed like today

Haven't tried this ROM, but i would guess so since it's based on CM and came out before the CM fix. Wish i knew for sure, sorry. Give it a try :thumbup:

I do not own this device, i generally work on quincyatt *galaxy note 1* but i was asked by Kidromulous to build him asop for sprint htc one so this is as close as you can get, he was great and patient tester and you should all thank him, without him this rom wouldnt work

The main idea behind SuperNexus is to provide Vanilla Android experience, just like on Google's Nexus devices, to non-nexus devices. SuperNexus is entirely built from Google's AOSP Source. Does this ROM have the problem where you can't turn on the screen during a phone call?
I wanna flash but I'm worried about the way 4.2.2 moves files around last time I f'd up and had to Ruu but I took the OTA and will not be able to if I screw up or something goes wrong.

Play Store is missing the drop down menu. I can't see installed apps. All it has is the Search Magnifying Glass. I shouldn't have to search to figure out what is installed.

then you should push menu and select "my apps"
PLEASE READ:
This AOSP is not limited to source changes from CM, Vanir, CNA, EOS, Carbon, AOKP etc. you get the best of all of them. All features included have been reworked to eliminate performance sinks and memory leaks and subtly improved as i see fit also. Finally, this rom is compiled using GLOBAL -O3 -fstrict-aliasing. I don't just turn it off where there's violations like every other "linaro" ROM source i've seen listed. This is the real deal. Latest linaro toolchain snapshot and proper use of the current 4.8 GCC features so it actually means something to say it's compiled with GCC 4.8.
Disclaimer: Because I'm using building using commits from every major repo in existence it may take a while to integrate some of the major features to my standards. I may release a stock AOKP feature as a beta until I have the chance to improve it but I'm not interested in band-aid fixing things or duck taping **** together just to get more crap under the features list and change log. Great ROM. Just not able to find the brightness slider enable option -swipe to control brightness from status bar. Works smooth and stable .. Eagerly waiting for the next build .

I had the same issue with stock launcher and same with Apex launcher . after setting the wp just reboot . this might a bug which will be gone in future builds

Running great! Just do a reboot to set wallpaper. Only needs to be done once after initial ROM boot. Happens with every rom out there that uses stock launcher.

I had the same issue with stock launcher and same with Apex launcher . after setting the wp just reboot . this might a bug which will be gone in future builds
