[ROM][DEV] CyanogenMod 7.2 - BroadcomCM [TASSVE] [RC 4 - 09/03/2014] - Samsung Galaxy Mini

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 2.3.7 (GB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*
* Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
* cause of male impotence.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
BroadcomCM is based on the CyanogenMod Project. Our goal is to create ROMs based on CyanogenMod Sources for Broadcom BCM21553 devices. All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the broadcomCM Github repo. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Installation Instructions
Many of you guys have expierienced problems while flashing things on my kernel, Roms and suhc. Due to all my works are based on EXT4 filesystem, you can't simply flash those ROMs you will need a procedure to be made, and that's what I'm going to explain:
NOTE: if you are on an EXT4 ROM jump to step 5. If you don't know, flash stock ROM and follow ALL the steps.
(RECOMMENDED) Be on a stock ROM, installation will be cleaner
Download THIS EXT4 tool, the Kernel and the Rom on your device.
Flash on Samsung recovery (or your recovery if you are not on stock), my temp. CWM.
When you are on the Temp. CWM, flash the EXT4 Formatter tool, so whole system will be converted to EXT4. (Stock filesystem is RFS)
After the installation, flash my kernel you have downloaded before.
When the Kernel is installed, go, on the CWM, to advanced --> reboot recovery (this will reboot the device, and turn it on on the new CWM of kernel)
Wipe data, cache and dalvik
(IMPORTANT) Go to mounts and storage, and make sure system is mounted (will show unmounted) mount it 2 times!
Go to install zip from SD Card, choose zip from SD card and install your CyanogenMod, AOSP, Cyanmobile, whatever your EXT4 Based ROM is. (MAKE SURE installation last more than 5 seconds, if is less than 5 secodns, your system is unmounted! repeate step 8).
After installation, go back and reboot system, if you made it good, ROM boots, so no problem on it.
That's the cleanest installation, there are other ways, but this one won't give you so much problems. Why do we have to make all of this? Because to run AOSP based ROMs (CyanogenMod or others), EXT4 is the best filesystem, so we need to convert RFS (Samsung) to EXT4, and this are the steps to do it perfect!
NOTE: MY kernel has a "bug", if you don't mount before installing, ZIP file won't be installed! Make sure everytime you mount system properly!
Many thanks to Lopicl.00 who created this EXT4 tool, useful for every noob user!

NOTE (for rom-makers themers and people who use this rom as base):
As you know, there is a BIG AMOUNT of CM9 for ACE, by different devs (since ICS was released). For make easier bug-controls PLEASE SAY IF YOU USE THIS ROM AS BASE.
On the Beta 3 there is a problem with gapps:
As long as CM10 with gapps is too heavy for our decice, (that causes some issues that won't happen normally)
SOLUTION: (must test, and try to improve it)
you must delete something to install it, I recommend LatineMe.apk (keyboard)
Install again the gapps (lite by pedrojuuu)
Install a keyboard from play syore or via apk
And everything will be OK

What's working:
Everything except Bugs down here!
What's partially working:
HW LIBS: We are using alcatel pre-built libs due to his devices uses nearly an AOSP ROM. AOSP and CM are compatible, so we try to use the Alcatel libs to implement on our last build, this was kind of a mess because lots of libs call others, so we need to pre-built all the encoder and decoder libs, but with a succefully result.
Well, due to this libs are prebuilt libs, and just work 100% on AOSP, some CM configs does not work, and this include this:
CRT Animation: This is a CM implelemtation, not on stock ROM from alcatel, so libs are not prepared to work with it.
Screen Rotation animation: I don't know why, libsurfaceflinger is not compatible with effect of rotate CM do, that is why I've added a configuration on the build.prop that reverts the animation, making the rotation witout animation, jsut rotates as it should. If I activate the animation, green screen will show up while animation is working.
CM Rendre effects: All the effects that CM added like the render effect don't work too because they were not implementend in AOSP, they were not implemented in our AOSP Alcatel libs, so it is not supported
Before asking, NO, this libs won't work on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich or plus.
Flash on camera: As far as I know, I've investiagted about it, and samsung used a weird interface to work with the flash on camera in stock rom. there is not a dedicated folder for that led, so i don't know yet how to implemetn it on CM7 camera app. THERE IS A FIX ON 3rd POST.
What's not working:
Native USB Tethering: USB tethering is started and with good configs (usb0 and rndis0) and seems no problem, logcat does not show nothing irrelevant, but we don't know why it is not working. I think it has something to do with brcm_switch.ko module, I'll take a look as soon as possible, but I don't know why does not work. Afaik brcm_switch.ko is not proper loaded, and I don't know the cause of it. YOU CAN FIX IT USING 3rd party apps.

highly appreciate the effort man! Building from source will also remove little problems (like in display) that occur while porting the galaxy-y rom!
You are getting close guys keep it up. I'd happily join in but i have had to give my phone to the girlfriend permanently so i cant really afford to get anything wrong xD..or i would

[ROM][DEV][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 9.1 - BroadcomCM [COOPERVE][Beta 5 - 14/07/2014]

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0.4 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*
* cause of male impotence.
*/
Our goal is to create ROMs based on CyanogenMod Sources for Broadcom BC21553 devices. All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the broadcomCM Github repo. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Good Start TO ICS
Re: [ROM][DEV][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 9.1 - BroadcomCM [Alpha 1 - 26/01/2013]
Story:
As most of you all might know.
In the last month Broadcom was very kind to us and released the HW drivers for our devices ( BCM21553 )
These sources where based upon android 4.0.1 and thus not working on 4.0.4.
We as Team BroadcomCM (SpaceCaker and Bieltv.3) have been working from the release date till now to make these compatible with 4.0.4 ICS and tested these to make sure all edits where right.
During this we worked almost 24/7 to get it proper.
As first result we had it working on AOSP ICS 4.0.4 ( SpaceCaker Build ) But sadly on this we didn't had touchscreen working and Colors not proper.
Later we build on CM9 (Bieltv.3 build) and found out that colors as in previous build weren't proper.
After tons of work and such we found out that our problem was laying in something very simple, something we overlooked during the editing process. After Biel tried the fix it suddenly worked like it should and from then with our latest Team edits we managed to get the HW drivers ported the proper way.
Thanks to our amazing team we have got HW to work proper now.
Also A lot of thanks to Broadcom for releasing the initial drivers.
wow crazy man thankssss reserved

OK TheWhisp you are genious. But I have question. Does this "hack" for WiFi AP work from latest CM10.1 or it's some kind of new one?
I wait for the first build to be uploaded.

Do CM10.2 will support blueZ? just like the fix done on CM10.1 from CAF.

CAF has added support for FM radio and Bluez. Maybe they won't do it this time.
Anyway, camera and Wi-Fi are not working. So the build will be delayed.

I don't think that anyone will use it ,until the wifi is currently not working ,but for testing ,uhm I don't know about ,maybe you could use the CM10.2 for developers (Development section goo.im) but I don't even think that these builds will be for daily use , so just wait for the most stability

Why would you want such an unsable build? Most of the stuff isn't even working yet. Let OP stabilize this build first. Also OP, can you add in this build the ability to put the clock in the middle of the status bar? Or the ability to disable the bootscreen for a faster boot? Or the ability to change the status bar opacity?

what do you think is the percentage of bluetooth to work on android 4.3?.
since we'll now be working with bluedroid unlike the blueZ we used in CM10/10.1?

there's no point on building CM9, (just my opinion).
