Omni is a community-based project for the Android community which is Free: Free to Use, Free to Modify, Free to Share. It's also about options, which is the beauty of Android.

In short Omnirom is still in an early stage and much like AOSP, but with a few nice additions already (like performance tab and some customization features.

As I'm building Omnirom myself and update almost daily I've decided to share my builds here:
http://www.mediafire.com/folder/ks61pturnfeyg/OMNIXPERIAT
- Kernel built with Linaro
- Up to date
If you want root flash: http://download.chainfire.eu/351/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.65.zip

The link doesn't work

what are we downloading? the only thing your mentioning is the name Omni rom.
some specific details will be appreciated..

Why should we download this over Tilals rom ???
You might want to add more info to the OP like it needs to be for unlocked/ locked boot loader,.what Gapps to flash.
it will save so many questions.

Promising idea... Waiting for news.

Download link does not work.

Download link should be working now, sorry

Have you enabled multi window ? And is su in the rom ?
Sent from my Xperia T using Tapatalk

Look the link doesn't really get into any specifics about the rom. What does it look like? What features does it have to differentiate from stock? Why is it better than cm?
Sent from my Xperia T using xda app-developers app

any screenshots? and what is it based on, and what is the features?
I'm new to hear omnirom.. and I can't find clear information about this on the website..
Thanks for your work!

At the moment it's just AOSP, but over time more features will be added.
But it would be good to see more info in the OP.

Sadly the multi-window commit is not included in this build.

It has Offcourse the latest commits... That includes the fix for the crashing security settings menu and the ability to change the auto brightness values.

New built up.

i would like to know if you simple build with adding all available sources/features/fixes, or if you pick just some things? for example is there theme engine already in omnirom? hm i must say others are right, would be nice to have some more informations what you push inside your rom, what not and so on...

My built is pure Omni (except for root that I added). I also added multi window now (it is buggy because it is not finished yet).
If you want to know more about omnirom i suggest you google it. Or look at there github.

This should be safe to "dirty" flash over tilal's Omni build right? No data wipe needed? Hopefully?

For people that don't understand what OmniROM is, go to the OmniROM forums right here on XDA. You can get all your questions answered there. In a nutshell, OmniROM is a community "XDA" ROM with developers like Dees_Troy, xplodwild, and Chainfire as the main founders. It's totally open-source, open to feature requests, nightlies are stable, etc.
Essentially it's just a really awesome AOSP-based ROM with some cool features (detailed in the forums and on the website) and a very open mindset.

Have a bug to report?
Now track the status of your issue on -
http://bugtracker.liquidsmooth.net
--
Quick Tips:
◘ Make sure you do a Full Wipe and then flash the ROM.
◘ DO NOT restore data via Titanium Backup. More often than not it will cause stupid issues.
◘ If you have done all that, and still face issues please post a logcat. (Search on how to do that)
◘ For battery related issues, please post a relevant screenshot from an app like Better Battery Stats etc.

No logcat or no screenshot effectively means your issue doesn't exist

He just needs to create a new thread. He did what CM did, he started building CM 10.1 releases and stopped developing CM 10 abruptly. His OP is just out of date.
A Mod needs to step into his thread and just state that, IMO.
