I am not sure if zip will flash good or have errors, since I got some problems with kernel folder with Omni idk why. So I am doing a new clean build again just to check it. Since I am not on PC I could not test it good, anyway if there is some error just say here, I will have not problem to check them.

Okey, WAY TO FLASH OMNI ROM!
1. Full wipes
2. Flash Zip
3. After it gives error 7 flashing flash raw-kernel or any CM kernel from any Custom ROM and done!!
Enviado desde mi GT-N7000 usando Tapatalk 4

I'll flash and report.

I read through both the links in the OP but it's still not clear from either of those what this offers over the standard AOSP feature set.

Is a ROM that started so little time ago, so is not so much worked. Also since 4.4 is coming that week maybe all things are getting focused to 4.4 , also that ROM includes:
* Battery Lockscreen Ring
* Scrollable quick acess settings
* Multiwindow(beeing worked, I already tested and will be available so soon)

Deleted. Reserved for omni purposes. Solved.

Installed and running fine, i combined it with Asylum_CM10.2_Kernel_20131006_N7000_3.0.99
Now to see how stable it is.
Also, downloading with my phone didnt work, had to use my pc and move it over. Why?
Well, storage does not work, not the internal or external can be used. In the settings app, storage also crashes.

I put on OP, because some patches are not merged on Omni sources sdcard and internal card are able to be readed, I am fixing it right now.

Did get the download via dolphin browser
@herna >what is that?
Assert failed: write Raw image ("tmp / Boot.img". dev/block/mmcblk0p5)
Error in /emmc/yadda homemade zip
Status 7
Did you test the Rom? Storage is available on omni Rom - on my tab.. Why not on the Note?
Without being mean or rude. I simply would prefer you wouldn't just throw out with a can as hopefully you're the first to bring it up for the Note.
In the installation routine there is also clearly missing the mentioning of SuperSU (to be flashed after Rom + Gapps) , or did you manage to include Superuser? Pull it off for the moment.
BTW Is 4.3.1 already, I mean really, merged in Omni?

Okey, idk why Omni sources are not good adapted.
Assert failed: write Raw image ("tmp / Boot.img". dev/block/mmcblk0p5) = that means kernel is trying to flash boot.img but cannot flash it on the good place, idk why, but that is why sdcard and internal memory are not recognized, I am fixing it right now.
Yes, I tested, here a video, sorry for the quality video, recorded with a Nokia e61 http://www.youtube.com/embed/X4CeuKwFH3Q
Differents hardware, differents configuration. I will figerout the problem with sdcards, I think is the only bug here, WiFi, BT and some others worked good.

Some pictures that I took from my Alcatel OT991

i am gonna cry .. a new rom .. testing testing testing .. *drools*

I might skip this build. As the memory card are not recognized. Will wait for next build @herna
Take your time.

I think I have just found the problem about sdcards. I am building new version right now!

This is a experimental Build of the current state of CyanogenMod 9 for the Samsung Galaxy Note. CM 9 is based on latest AOSP sources plus some usefull tweaks and features.
CyanogenMod 9 is still under heavy development and will probably be finished in January/February 2012. The device specific part for the Galaxy Note is under heavy Development, too.

Odin 1.83 should be fine. If you don't know what Odin this, stop reading further right now. This rom isn't for you.
Do a full wipe in the Recovery mode before flashing.
Enter Download Mode on your device.

Happy new year!!
Hi there,
a few words on questions that came up so far:
There is screen flicker (ie. black lines) in some apps? Why is that?
Since we can't use the ICS 3.0.9 Kernel that leaked together with the XXKPx Builds for the SGS2 we can't use
the new ICS Graphics blobs which depend on the new kernel.
The Graphics blobs currently in use in the first build are the ones from Gingerbread and those are (which is pretty obvious if you aks me)
not fully compatible with ICS.
A quick workaround that might fix the screen flickering for some apps while breaking others is:
Go to Settings -> Developer options -> Tap "Force GPU rendering" (enabled).
There are issues with SD mounting (internal/external)
Already on my list for the next build along with working MTP)
Do I have to factory reset when going from this build to the next build?
Most certainly not. Since all releases are tested before release I'll let you know if there is something you need to do before upgrading.
Is this a Team Hacksung release?
Yes it is. I am maintaining the development for the Galaxy Note while working closely with codeworkx, nebkat, xplodwild et al.
Is it supposed to have a forum on CM website?
Nah. Since we are in pre-Alpha stage there is no support besides the IRC User channel mentioned in the first post.
Notes on progress:
* YouTube playback will return. (This is kinda flaky in the current build)
* I am taking a close look at the USB gadget driver and have begun work backporting the Android standard gadget driver to replace Samsung's messy gadget driver.
Sweet, looking forward to giving this a try.

Is it also possible to flash with CWM? Will there be a CWM File too?
PS: Aachen? Ich auch ;D
Wow, that's a lot of stuff done already!
Wish I could try it, but I really really need camera support...
Thanks for your work
Waw, I love you Maui
I will give it a try this week end

ohhhhhhh
Brainstorming for saving the binary counter:
Shouldn’t it be possible to
- flash the kernel out of the archive using CWM Manager or Mobile Odin
- Boot direkt into Download Mode after flashing the kernel
- Flash the archive without kernel using Odin
Any comments on that?
BTW: Is ICS hardware acceleration working?
Very nice
There is any way to get or to build a CWM File?
Flashing using mobile Odin works a treat....
Don't forget you will probably need to fac reset...
Isn't it possible to use the camera driver from the galaxy s 2?

for those who want a flashable .zip, try this:
http://www.multiupload.com/AAQMT1BWL3 (new link)
(use only for testing, full wipe is required! you will loose all data)
( changed link with changed updater script, old is also working)
It's already smooth like butter
nice work!

I came from Chronos ROM, I always clear cache + dvk cache, erase system partition, factory reset before flashing a new ROM. When I flashed this ROM it did not come further than the PA bootscreen, not even after 15 minutes.

Yes, every other ROM just flashes normally. I will try to redownload the ROM and try again, I'll post here if that worked.
OK, must be bad download all working fine for other users and devs

The issue is the download link. My download from your sites consistently end when the file reaches around the 40mb mark when that is clearly not complete. Had to try various times. Now have to try it out with a download manager. His download was probably equally as corrupted.
Mind adding mirrors? 'Cause this is a consistent issue when downloading files from your site.

We don't have an external SD slot.
Just use this:

Also, don't know if you manage the site, but if you give me a quick list of additional non-CM features, I can make it look neat for the Features page.

Hi @vedantgp,
I have run this great CyanFox Rom for the last 12 hours, it run good overall (except for rotation as mentioned). Very smooth.
Thanks.
I've installed this ROM and it's good but it gets laggy at times and just the rotation, since I love watching video using my phone, it's not favorable. Hehe, well. I'm willing to wait for the fix and will try to get back on it! Thanks for great ROM!

You need to update your recovery in order flash KitKat ROMs. The latest CWM (6.0.4.3) or Philz are the only two that will do it . I recommend Philz.

I have install this one, and it's a great rom.
Actually i think is the best one i have tryed till now.
I have v.2.0.2.
Single problem is the rotate function which works and not
But i have seen that is up a Experimental one launched in 16.01.2014!
Did anyone tryed it? What does bring new?
This is working great for me, the audio is no problem at all. I listen to hell lot of songs. Battery life is great. Yes, occasional lag is expected.

What's not working
Video Recording
You tell me
.
What's working
Everything
Why this?
Because I want to give you all a stable aosp-based rom Since, LiquidSmooth is in beta state and it was a little frustrating to determine whether bugs are device specific or general. So, I want to made a new project based on a stable rom and here we comes. (By all means, I'll be still building LiquidSmooth i.e: untill my computer burn out ) I also have to buy a new harddisk, since for now, I only have about 100GB free and with two projects, I can't even have cache it takes ages to make a build
Great work man

You cant because you dont read flash cm11 or cm based rom then go to camera video and switch to 1080p.Video is working i personaly tested it on CM11 nightly 2.2
Mokee is based on Official CM... In Unofficial sources video recording doesn't work.

Is it normal that the reboot takes THAT long, it is like more than 10 minutes for me until now :/

Did you flash gapps? If so, go to recovery and factory reset again.
I have a bug. I can't write anything in the SD card. I get an error that say there is not enough free space. But it's not true!

Amazing Rom. Very very smooth. I had bootloop while installing it but I was impatient. The only bug as mentioned above is not able to write in memory card. I would appreciate is you can include this in this ROM. Multiwindow
Sry guys, I thought SD card write issues fix might not need recompiling, but it seems it does. and as I have to compile again, I wanna test it with official sources, so might need a little time for new upload
Yes please official, i really would like tot see a fully working cam give it a try official in my opinion is nog that bad

Good news Guy, I've now compiled based on official sources and it's working really fine. SD card copy issues is solved, also. Setting menu not translatable is 'not' solved, sorry. May be in next build? I'll upload new build in two, three hours later since in my country, connection is suck this time.
New build is up, mediafire is giving me issues, so I put it to google drive. It's in OP.
Note: After Flashing Gapps, remember to factory reset once again. Unless, it will go on bootlooping.
If you have some problem with copying to external sd card, check your sd card for recursive folder, like 0, or sdcard1, or storage. If you find that, delete it.
EDIT: I completely forgot to tell you that since I used official sources now, video recording works perfectly.

There our three methods (That may work) to try if it does not want to flash in twrp they our
1. Unmount system then flash
2. Factory Reset, reboot to recovery again then flash
3. Flash CWM and in this case try flashing a alt kernel
Edit: Windy is up

Installed with no problem using TWRP 2.6.3.0 :good:
Backed up using TWRP (Was running PAC ROM android 4.3)
Factory wipe, + wipe Dalvik & cache to be sure.
Flashed LiquidSmooth
Wipe Dalvik & cache again - just incase
Reboot - no problem - running LiquidSmooth
I'm now going to flash the provided Slim Gapps zip. Will report back if there's a problem
Testing beta
I will flash this rom also once i'm off work. Thanks for bringing this to the tab Z!
I am curious about this rom. Does it have double tap to wake?
Not yet or i didnt see where to activate it...but double tap status bar to sleep yes
SplitView aka multiwindow is working perfect...only Pie; i had to reboot to get it work.

How about looking 2 posts before?
So far this ROM is working excellent on Pollux in Dalvik.
Been using for two days for a total of around 24 hours and not had a single major problem. Very impressed its the slickest ROM I have used yet on 4.4.
I was using cm11 fidelity, then got a random reboot halfway through a game and got stuck in bootloop so thought I'd give this a try.
For anyone having issues, I had flashed cm11 fidelity inc mods then booted into CWM, didn't reflash kernel from laptop (no access at minute) just factory reset and wiped cache and dalvik cache.
Not major but once orr twice on MX player had the common sound bug, where the sound seems to stall for half a second, didn't have this on fidelity but had it on every other 4.4 ROM. One other issue is if you get a notification with headphones in, it still plays through loudspeakers too.
Very well done with this ROM guys thank you.
I dirty flashed it and i dont know why people says to modify first post i got it first try and apparently im not the one...
Well, someone else having trouble to mount SD?
I tried then a clean install and same thing, and also tried it with omni kernel...same thing, also no sd access from rom.

Could someone please test this new boot animation it is sized for this tablet, it is not flashable you will need to manually replace it, rename the 2560.zip to bootanimation.zip
