HTC won't release latest kernel source of J One

HTC haven't released source code of J One yet.
HTC usually release their source code usually after 3-4 months after official updates, but no kernel sources of J One that run on Android 4.2 was relased.
Major update to Android to 4.2 was released on 2013/09/10, but they haven't released its kernel source yet.
I really need kernel source of 2.21, which was released on 2013/12/19, because repaied rear camera only works on this version.
How can we make HTC release their source code?
Should we report to someone as GPL violations? But how?
I recently noticed that Droid DNA's latest kernel source has come, but still no 4.2 sources for J One.

version 1.07 is not Android 4.2.2.
They don't fix that. I don't know why.

[Q] [DEVS] 5.0.2 kernel source can be used?

So I've started learning how to build a kernel given the source code, but I was wondering- since I got the Android 5.1 OTA will I be able to use the 5.0.2 kernel source for now to test on 5.1 until the source for 5.1 is on github? Or is this a bad idea that I should not even consider?
I have no idea. I think if you look up faux123 on Google+ he'll answer it for ya....?

[ALE-Lxx] Huawei P8lite Kernel Sources

In case you are not aware, here are the kernel sources for the Huawei P8lite. This means that you can now build CyanogenMod or custom kernels for this phone.
Downloads
ALE-L02/ALE-L21/ALE-L23
ALE-L04 (Old 4.4.4 Source)
After seeing the interest for CyanogenMod or a similar AOSP ROM, there is a guide here that shows you how to port CM to a new device. Unfortunately, I can't do it because I don't own the device but if you try, best of luck
If dd98 agrees, i would use this thread to discuss and collect info about how to compile an armv8a kernel for our phone.
By the way, if i run this command in the phone console:
uname -a
It says our stock kernel is for armv7l. Is it normal?
Has anybody already tried to compile from source? Any success?
Any further development on this?
@dd98 I have device and willing to port can you guide on how to do this?
I'm going to try enable USB OTG for B170 for ALE-L21.
Oh.. This is and old thread..
There are already some developers busy with development of custom roms for the Huawei P8 Lite.
There kernel and the source can already been build for android 5 and android 6.

Cyanogenmod is for the moment a problem because of good vendor files.
For now only wifi is working on AOSP builds, as long that there is no RIL ( calling ) you can't do anything with the Custom rom.
I'm personally have buid a bootable rom with Omnirom.
Source for that rom you can find here : https://github.com/olrak2/android_device_huawei_alice/
Somebody tried enable usb otg?
