Nexus 5 Indonesian thread - Nexus 5 General

Any informations regarding the nexus 5 availability and pricing in Indonesia? Hope it doesn't cost an arm and leg, $450-500 for the 32gb model is quite fair, also i don't think the 16gb model will make it here just like it did with the n4 last year,

Google officially announced Nexus 4, updated Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Android 4.2

Let's hope 4.2 trickles down to our devices soon!
Also a neat overview video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66-4uMQqerA&feature=g-all-u
Woo hoo! Looking forward to 4.2

Where is the Nexus 10 pre-order link!?
NExus 7 32GB with mobile data for 299$ is killer price!:good:
Ok, 32GB with 3G/4G for $299, very good, might get that since I already got a 16GB Nexus 7 (first gen), but wtf, no hardware changes? I was waiting for something new other than more HDD space. I will wait out a month or two to see if the screen lift problem persists.
Finally google music coming to europe!
Man the nexus 4 is a letdown. No LTE? The thunderbolt was released a year and a half ago. Son, I am disappoint.

The LTE versions will most likely come. They'll just be bastard children like the Nexus S 4G on Sprint.

Nexus 4
8GB = 299USD, 239GBP

Where did you read that there's no 4G-LTE? Or did you surmise this from not seeing mention of it being included. You may be right, but I'd be shocked if they omitted LTE from a phone this new.

EDIT: The Verge is reporting that there's no LTE on Nexus 4 (and explains why). http://www.theverge.com/2012/10/29/3569688/why-nexus-4-does-not-have-4g-lte

I wonder if 4.2 will add Miracast to the Nexus 7 as well. Any info on this yet?

According to LeeLaa (read up), we get it Nov 13.
Meanwhile, I am skeptically, cynically contemplating the possibility that this is actually true.... Then again, if an N7 with no hardware changes is available Nov. 13 with JB 4.2 onboard, it does makes sense that we'll be able to get JB 4.2 for existing N7's around the same time.

Nexus 4 Indian thread

Well because there needs to be an Indian thread for every device out there. Who all are getting this in India and how? I'm getting one imported as soon as possible.

Nexus 4 vs Google Edition of Samsung Galaxy S4

I saw this article yesterday but didn't know if it was true or not. Would you sell/trade you're current Nexus 4 for the Google Edition Samsung Galaxy S4? Will the Samsung Galaxy S4 be the exact same as the Nexus from a software perspective since it's pure Android?
I'm not a big fan of the Samsung build quality (ie plastic) but know there are a lot of nexus 4 owners that would like 32GB and a removable battery.

It doesn't matter if it's true or not. The Galaxy S4 supports AOSP. Those who want AOSP know what to do. That's just how I see it.
If it's unlocked and reasonably priced (maybe... like $400 for a 16gb model) I would absolutely jump ship for the S4. To me, a changeable battery and microSD card are killer features.
However, I don't anticipate it being much cheaper than a standard unlocked S4, so I probably won't be buying it.

Just wait for Google IO and see what is released
I miss my 32gbs of storage, however, I love the feel of my nexus....don't think I can go back to plastics. My batter lasts me all day even with heavy use believe it or not. I can't lie though sometimes it's close but it always comes through.

Oh god, please, just NO PLASTIC FOR GODS' SAKE.
I personally don't care which company makes the next Nexus, I just hope that it's not cheap plastic.

you mean wait for Google I/O and see what is *not* released
Well, not sure what to think of a google s4 version priced at $649 available at the google playstore soon.
If it becomes successful, that would definitely have a negative effect on the cheaper nexus devices.
Google I/O confirms this.
June 26, $649, 16GB only, ATT/TMobile with LTE support.
It's official just heard it on Google I/O 2013, 16GB with expandable storage, LTE, unlocked bootloader (works on AT&T and T-Mobile) and updates from Google for $649 on Google Play starting late June 26th. So who is getting it?
Seems rather pricey to me but I know people will buy it.

There is NO way the Google edition of the S4 is worth twice a much as the Nexus 4..
$649 = PASS!!!!!!!!!
It's probably nice news for people who have a galaxy S4 on T mobile or att. Updates are almost guaranteed, as was the case with gs1 and nexus s.

They priced it high to increase the attractiveness of their TouchWiz S4. It's basic marketing strategies =)
Their goal is to obviously get people to use and be entrenched in the Touchwiz ecosystem.

Nexus 5 400$,450$ -GSMarena

According to the leaked manual of the N5 the 32GB was said to cost 450$. According to GSMarena the N5 will cost 399$ and 450$ respectively.
The N4 will receive a storage bump and LTE.

Got the 32GB Wifi model for 12k (INR) for my daughter's ninth birthday. Great deal, imho. Today's the last date of discounts, so I suggest any of you guys not sure about the purchase, make the jump!

@Mohdsultan..its still a very capable device. And 8999 is still a good price. Eventually it all boils down to what you want to use it for. If you want to use it on the move you are better off getting the 3g version
