Have you made sure all animations are on in developer's settings . ?
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Yeah the animations stopped my menu buttons from working.
Silly as always have my animations turned off.
Oh well just cut it to .5

Ouch I was not that bad as had noticed it only happened after I changed some options.

Mind you I think I have a problem with my light sensor so my phone might have to go back again . Can be erratic sometimes so the autobrigtness can be all over the place at times .

Thank you all for the solution the 1st thing I do Is to disable the animations

[Q] Nik's Rebirth blocking certain sites when tethered

Has anyone else found that when using USB tethering with Nik's Rebirth rom there are certain sites blocked. I also found this with his Trinity 4.5. I use Gumtree a lot but can't load the page at all.

A small idea that i'd like to see come to life

I just had a thought...it would be cool to be able to title your screens. A screen could become one big folder of apps as such.
I think it would be handy then to use the notification center to select different titles (screens).
Another idea is to use notification center to quickly access a certain folder quickly.
Not sure if these are good or bad ideas or even if they have been made. Let me know what you think...

Are you talking about titling your home screens? Maybe you could create a custom text widget and have it take up 1x4 spacing? :good:

That seems like a cool idea actually. Like a quick access to apps from the notification drawer.

[Q] How to get stock ics lock screen?

I am running Nameless ROM v5.0.0 and was wondering if it's possible to get rid of the htc lock screen. I did read in the nameless thread that deleting a htc file will get the lock screen, but which one? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Htclockscreenlite(better move it instead of deleting it)
But it's a bit buggy. When receiving a call you can't see who is calling until you unlock first. I prefer it either way.
And Merry Christmas!

Unfortunately, due to the screen size of this phone, you can't. Look at the HTC Wildfire S running a CyanogenMod rom. The bit is cut off, but I can live with it. Going to back up in CWM incase anything goes wrong
Look at this video http://youtu.be/_mMBOmBFBe0?t=42s
Oh, i see. Thanks anyway, im going back to the htc ring

SeannyM's explos!on ROM uses trebuchet lockscreen which is pretty much stock ics. So my advice is to flash that ROM!

JMZ Power Saver disabler on the market is what I used. Root is required.
But I think it can be done using Xposed also.
way more easy if you use system tuner and disable the notification service for it. Obviously, you'll need root for that.
Gesendet von meinem HTC One mit Tapatalk 2
There is a simple way to do this. Go to settings, apps, all, find Power and uncheck show notifications.
No root required.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Or just hold press on the notification area and it would open a UI to disable it lol!
On my stock Rom, the option for disabling the notifications was grayed out. So I had to use the option via system tuner. Seems to differ within the versions..

Ah damn grayed out for me too!

I have 'force stopped' power... the notification is gone
Will this give me issues?
You don't disable it guys.... Scroll lower on the App info. There's an option there to disable notifications. That's what you should uncheck.
This is a default jellybean feature. Look at the article below to know how to do it.
http://pocketnow.com/2012/07/16/how...plication-notifications-in-android-jelly-bean
Grayed out for me too.

any option for those who are not rooted?
this notification is really pissing me off as since it's the "top" notification my other notifications don't auto expand.
and i find the the fact that htc disabled the option to turn off notifications for it rather annoying as well since one of the features of jelly bean of being able to disable notifications is specifically for crap like this.

There are options to choose where to post (Public, Friends or Only Me)... You can tag people as well. No idea how you can post to the timeline of a particular friend..
In past, there was that feature but i didn't find it in new blinkfeed
