"CyanogenMod (pronounced /saɪ.'æn.oʊ.dʒɛn.mɒd/) is an enhanced open source firmware distribution for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.
Features supported by CyanogenMod include native theming support, FLAC audio codec support, a large Access Point Name list, an OpenVPN client, an enhanced reboot menu, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB tethering, CPU overclocking and other performance enhancements, soft buttons and other "tablet tweaks", toggles in the notification pull-down (such as wi-fi, Bluetooth and GPS), app permissions management, as well as other interface enhancements. CyanogenMod does not contain spyware or bloatware. In many cases, CyanogenMod may increase performance and reliability compared with official firmware releases.
CyanogenMod is developed as free and open source software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added original and third-party code. "
This is a UNOFFICIAL release. 100% UNOFFICIAL.

edit2: is it just me or anyone else aware it too that on the XDA: DevDV info it stated that ROM OS Version: 4.3.x Jellybean instead of 4.4 KitKat?

We can't change that. It's a XDA limit.
I'm actually re-uploading to http://d-h.st now as my site is very crashy. (may take 5-6 hours- australian internet is dreadful)
EVERYBODY.
PLEASE WAIT TILL I CONFIRM THAT THE BUILD IS OKAY.

how exactly do we patch the zip???

The zip isn't fully uploaded. Don't flash it if you're not sure if it's complete.

As it is 38.6MB download at brintaylor (= incomplete upload)
Maybe it is better to remove that link from post because some very unique smart people can flash it.

It wouldn't work, it would only give an error. And if someone reports an error like this in this thread you just report it to the mod so that he can delete the post .

I'll reupload now. I hit 2 upload errors (timed out due to my terrible internet) and a last minute error.
I am just rebuilding now and will upload that .
The updater script should be patched so you won't need a new recovery.
EDIT 1 : Still building.

trouble with 000webhost.com sir? or still uploading?
can i suggest you some file hosting? for ex imzupload.com

Locking.
Sorry about the delay. We need to check a few things. I'll get this thread unlocked on the weekend. I somehow broke the build when trying to make a proper fix as I know most of you wouldn't understand how to patch the updater-script...

Thread closed as requested.
EDIT: Thread re-opened. Bring some sweetness.

MY SD Card Isn't Working
- Format the SD Card in recovery to Ext4 (from FAT) and it should be good to go. Besides, who likes the 3.9GB file limit of FAT anyways
- NTFS formatting also works, but SD card is no longer detectable in recovery.
Help! Miscellaneous is draining my battery!
Miscellaneous itself is not some mystical process that drains battery. It's showing the difference between estimated battery drain and actual battery drain (so more like a summation of all of the miscellaneous processes that drained the battery unexpectedly).
Work In Progress. Will be updated as comments are added.
If you are experiencing any issues and have performed a dirty flash, please try a clean flash prior to posting your question. Thank you!
If you have an issue and want require help, please submit a kmsg log with the following information:
Note: Do not pull out battery or else no log; this log can be located at: /proc/last_kmsg
When Possible, Please Include:
- Instructions to recreate the error you encountered.
- Any other relevant information (i.e. Kernel version/Build, etc.).
Please read all of the OP before you post. Do not report issues on previous builds only on the latest.

/* Native Xposed support */
Current Xposed for Android 5.0 Lollipop replaces ART native libraries/binaries upon installation which may cause compatibility and performance decrease.
Now I'm glad to bring you native Xposed support for Temasek ROM.
For installation, please check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 before continuing.
Follow the installation instructions from the upper link, but instead of using the recovery flash zip file provided by rovo89,
please install the following zip instead - http://arter97.iptime.org:8080/browse/Xposed/
This zip is built from source with both Temasek's modification and Xposed support in mind, thus giving better compatibility and (maybe) better performance.
This is also patched to install an additional addon.d script to make Xposed files are kept during nightly upgrades.

Yes. Same.
@arter97 - Good work!! More lolli's for the i9300; nom nom. Little suggestion... The uploaded file name ought to include build number/version, or alternatively another way of judging whether the build date matches current version/build number adjacent to that on this thread. Since atm the thread indicates the latest by build version i.e. "Build Version: V3.5.1", and not by date.
Example: cm-12-V3.5.1-YYYYMMDD-UNOFFICIAL-i9300.zip
Thank you developers. downloading it ..
This is v3.4.1 or 3.5.1? Because the the twitter version was 3.4.1....
Nice. Tema's rom was awesome on cm10 and 11.
Just a few things:
- It might be convinient to see what the differences are compared to normal cm12 (which will be very minor at this point). I know that temasek used to cherrypick from different roms as well.
-What are you planning for kernel? Are you using stock cm kernel, or are you planning to bundle it with your own kernel? Temasek had a seperate kernel when he had his s3. Just wondering what you are planning.
It will be great to see this Rom and Archidroid based on cm12 go head to head. Thanks for keeping the s3 alive.
I am flashing right now. BTW flashing took a really long time with TWRP 2.8.3.0 (Not the booting part, i know that takes time, but the actual flashing took several minutes).
Edit:
And it still has DSP manager !!!!! So much nicer than AudioFX

Personally I don't see custom ROMs as competitors and we shouldn't actually.
Like it, use it. Don't like, move on. It's freedom of choice. I'm in pretty good relations with @arter97 and I am sure we can both work hand in hand to make users enjoy yet again on your I9300.
Remember @arter97 is the one who brings u the finished product to enjoy. I'm merely working in the background. So let's give @arter97 the support which many have given me.
Regards
Temasek
I try this rom yesterday. When you @arter97 post the download link (mega) on twitter. After 1 day using this rom i experience some bug :
- music player goes fc after playing some music/song
-experience some graphical glitches when playing video/game
Another that working fine for me. (At least until now)
I can said this is the best lollipop ROM i ever tried. It's running verry smooth no lag and freeze/random reboot. Thanks.

Welcome to VanirAOSP.
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op

Sorry, You know me, as a basic user I always tried do something useful in community, but now my Mom is going to use my phone for 5-6 monthes. Also I have to study for university entrance exams so I can't do much here. I'm afraid.
@all : I've tested previous build, not the latest one. It booted fine, but orientation sensors was not working. @AndroidNoob69 told me he fixed this issue in latest build.
Also there was no sdcard bug (In Vanir KK, internal sd had write problems)
So don't worry about bricking your phone, If you want this project alive, please test latest build and report.
@AndroidNoob69 : Sorry If I do job of potato in testing that build but I'm out of options

yes, flashed it before from vanir's zip.

Hello and welcome to Fusion Rom.
Our android based project started out as a private project for the Samsung Galaxy S2. Now a few years later and much more experience gained we are proud to release it for the public.
Fusion rom is now based on android 5.0 lollipop and is build
for a more user friendly environment and many
fixes and improvements to the source code.
This results in a fast battery friendly rom for your phone.
Including many features for everybody to enjoy
and customize the rom to their own likings.
Of course this is not my rom, in fact I just maintain our presence here on XDA and help out building.
It's the work of many different people spending time for making Android better.
Downloads and other information can be found at: http://fusion-rom.tk/
Probably today or tomorrow will a new version be released.

I'm actually creating a new website now and thought about adding screenshots.
But trust me, the rom itself is better than images.
Thanks for creating a new thread for one of the best AOSP ROM out there! Do you happen to know why the previous thread got shut down?
hi. guys!
For your own safety I would halt downloading this rom for a while. As you can see the previous thread was locked and OP's account disabled....
If know something more, pls update what is going on...

New build is on the way.
Now the rom is compiled with SaberMod linaro 4.9 instead of 4.8, the kernel is still compiled with SaberMod linaro 4.10.
Also the quicksettings 4 tiles row feature will be fixed and many more.

I don't think that people should have to worry about downloading this ROM because the last thread was closed. Looks like the OP of the last thread got in the bad graces of a moderator and what happened is the fallout from it.

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Cyanogenmod. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features:
(I will mention only that which does not take into CyanogenMod)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Installation mode :
To install the clean rom:
Download the rom
enter the recovery
make all wipes (expect internal storage)
choose zip from SD and install
you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.1.x
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.
Big Thanks @martincz for development

Hallo.
Coming from LP.. what else should be installed? BootLoader, Modem?
Any special wipes or sequences?
If guide or links are needed, I would appreciate it, so I can try it out.
Thank you

MoKee Open Source is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the user habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives. Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee Open Source. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop.
I AM NOT THE DEVELOPER OF THIS ROM AND I ONLY TRANSLATED HIS THREAD FOR XDA COMMUNITY. IN ANY CASE, HE HAS ALL THE RIGHTS OVER THIS ROM.

Instructions :
Download this TWRP Recovery and install it.
Download Firmware ( RADIO_lavender_xxx.zip)
Go into TWRP Recovery — Wipe — Advanced Wipe — Select: Dalvik、Data、Cache、System — Swipe to Wipe
I recommend you to do fastboot -w in FASTBOOT MODE.
Install Firmware ( RADIO_lavender_xxx.zip)
Now, you can install the MoKee ROM
If you have problems during the flash, you have to unpack the archive and delete the "compatibility" file. Once that is done, put all the files together in a new archive. ZIP, and you will have no problems during flash.
If you need flash gapps, you need Mount: system_root、Vendor, then, you can flash gapps

Thank you!
thank you for sharing
installed with pico gapps and magisk. set up worked well, all my apps functioning. first impression seems to be pretty smooth (better then latest miui) and stable. will report long time imprission a few days later.
greetings ?
Update:
- Sending SMS Messages takes very long. Maybe 30 secs.
- GPS Signal was not working. i got it fixed by installing "global optimized gps file replacer" magisk mod.
Thanks for the New ROM. Just 1 more week of waiting for bootloader unlock before testing out these great ROMS.
I installed and debloated this rom a bit more to be as stock as possible and I'm quite impressed with the device performance, everything is smooth and fluid and there aren't too much unnecessary mods that drain your battery too... let's see where this goes and THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT:good:
