My deodexed releases aim to be as-pure-stock-as-possible, just with a magic touch of being ready for all community modifications, such as theming, debloating, customizing and so on.
You should consider them as an alternative to official pure stock. Especially because they're CWM-compatible, which means that you don't need Odin in order to be up-to-date. If you're looking for a deodexed pure stock ready for theming and modding, you're in the right place.

This release has been possible thanks to ArchiKitchen. Init.d is indepdendent, kernel bundled with ROM isn't modified in any way.
Nothing else has been made/changed. No apps removed. No KNOX. This is one-time release. You can use Rom Cleaner for fast debloat. This is the "base" for upcoming ArchiDroid 1.7.19.
Modem comes in standalone package, rom itself does not change your modem by default.

Hey im from the uk does csc effect HD voice? Is it ok to have the default csc that comes with the rom thanks

Yes, ArchiDroid is far more than the base.

what is the bootloader version included in stock XXUGNG3? can anyone post it?
Edit: Nevermind, I found a way//Learnt a way to extract bootloader from stock firmware and make odin flashable file, if anyone wants new XXUGNG3 bootloader i will post it here...
NG3 changelist is lower than NG1
Has anyone flashed this ROM .... coz i think this ROM is way too slow when compared to ND5 ....
currently i am running Archiport Beta 1 and it is blazing fast as compared to this ROM ...
can someone confirm this??

Because NG1 is UBU and NG3 XX, and UBU releases have different changelogs than XX releases.

I assume you can flash the bootloader independently without any problem on the other parts of the ROM

Hi,
I tried to create the firmware package myself, for the first time, using ArchiKitchen, and it was easier than I expected. I flashed the new firmware and it works! For anyone interested, the download link is here: https://mega.co.nz/#!z9lTGSLb!duzJLmaUL7xGsDXuSm9Qc2GP8geJMoCZIDl05UGTwgs .
Beware that the firmware is heavily debloated using Archi's debloat list (not ROMCleaner) to around 480 MB. It's also deodexed and zipalligned, includes the latest modem and busybox, and root. Does not have init.d activated, as I don't use it. I used the VD2 region (Vodafone Germany).
I'm not responsible it it doesn't work for someone else!

Have you removed that whole Vodafone CSC Stuff??
I didn't do anything special for CSC removal, but I have it as 'unknown' and I don't have Vodafone apps installed.

I Decided to Rebuild a complete firmware, supporting 928 F-I-G-L-K-S-T-C-W8 Edge+
Nothing to fancy in this rom its meant to be close to stock as possible, With the flexibility of removing what you don't need, and including few optimizations and tweaks, add-ons. etc.
I'll keep the thread up to date with the latest firmware for the Edge+ (as long as I have the phone) based on the firmware Changelist.
Development Update
Just a heads up!,
I have pre-ordered the S7 edge, so once the phone is released I will be selling my current Edge+, so I wont be able to release new firmware's that quickly, but I have done a lot of work with my firmware with the release of MM, to still be able to release updates for the Edge+, just not as frequently as I do now.
So even once I have sold my Edge+ and move to the S7, still expect some updates for you guys!
I will try and keep my Debloater updated when needed.
but on a positive note, I will bring my rom to the S7/S7 Edge once devolvement starts(custom recovery/root and all that stuff).
Installation Guide for Lollipop
-Copy Zip to your phone
-Boot into custom recovery and make sure to backup your current rom
-Flash the rom.zip file
-flash any other stuff like kernels, Xposed, etc
-and reboot your phone
-Done!!
Installation Guide for Marshmallow
SM-G928C / F / G / I / C7 users
You will need -
Custom recovery supporting MM - twrp-3.0.0-0-nobleltezt-nobleltezt.img.tar Flash via Odin in AP.
You will need a New MM Bootloader : -
G928F MM bootloader Flash via Odin in BL
G928C MM bootloader Flash via Odin in BL.
And my rom.
Optional but safest with less problems :- download the stock firmware for MM for your device and flash that, so it updates the whole device (modem/bootloader/etc) then follow the guide
G928FXXU2BPB6_G928FOXE2BPB6_G928FXXU2BPB6_HOME.tar
0- make sure to backup your current rom!
1 -Copy Zip to your phone
2 -Optional: flash the MM stock firmware for your device, so it updates (modem/bootloader/etc) and then skip stage 4
3 -Flash custom recovery via Odin
4 -Boot into download mode, and flash the MM bootloader via Odin in BT, otherwise your phone will not boot.
5 -Flash the rom.zip file
6 -and reboot your phone.
-Done!
Remember flashing a bootloader can be dangerous when it not for your device, And you take reasonability for doing so!
I personally have tested this on my G928F and has worked for me, but doesn't mean it will be the same result for you!
If you want to go back to Lollipop for whatever reason you will need to downgrade your bootloader or otherwise you will be stuck on a bootloop.

This guide is tested on G928F, as its my personal phone, and I have tried and tested the above method. I cant be certain this will work for other models and could lead to damage, G928T/W8 users should not try this, It will brick your phone!
If your phone is already on MM, you will only need the custom recovery for your model,
Debloater UPDATES
Some information about the Debloater.
Its to be used on any rom based on the Edge+ even can be used on a stock firmware aswell, It will give you the choice to debloat and to bring some optimization found in my rom to other firmware's. and also adds features that could be missing on other firmware's. It will bring support to multiple devices to work with any intentional roms (this means firmware's that only support intentional devices- G928F/C/G-, should work for T/W8/Dual SIM users.
This isnt a firmware, Just an add-on package
This can be used on any future updates for the Edge+.

Tips for battery life
To improve the battery, I recommend to use
[Mod][Xposed] Amplify - Battery Extender - Control alarms, services, and wakelocks
prevents wakelocks caused by rogue apps and prevents some google services keeping the device awake, etc.
[BETA] Greenify 2.9 beta 2
thanks to MM and the new Doze mode, Greenify has been updated to improve it and take advantage of it and minimize programs using up the battery when idle/screen off
you will need xposed to get the most out of them, Read up on xda about both of them. But they truly are a life saver when it comes to improving battery life. highly recommend trying them out, Just don't ask me how to use them since there is a ton of guide here on XDA about them both.

Try freezing it with titan backup, I noticed it was draining the battery too. and freezing it solved it for me since I never use NFC :good:
updated OP with this issue. ill try and see if I can find another way to fix it
yes i have it freeze with tb, solved
but now, i have the sview cover. the phone use nfc to identify the cover :/

and copied the nfcnci folder from the system.img (odex) to the phone
but nfc still greyed out.
I have a SM-G928C model, I Flashed this hoping to install xposed. But after booting my fingerprint sensor is not working. i am also getting some tui error. BTW i have already restarted it a couple of times. is there a solution?

delete the mc registry in system / app and put the stock of your phone
i used the mc folder from stock odin firmware. fingerprint sensor dont work
flashed new update from first page -> bootloop
now i have copy the fingerprint folder from AOH4 deox to my phone (system), reboot and fingerprint is now working

Alas, is it possible that there there could be fixes for the CPU usage, NFC and fingerprint scanner problems?

Sadly Iv tried few things to fix the issue but I cant seem to found a solution at the moment. The high CPU usage seems to be because of the NFC bug, so if you disable NFC with titan backup and reboot the phone the CPU usage goes back to normal, And for the fingerprint I personally don't use it, But ill do some testing and try to resolve the issues with some luck :good:

You can flash it over your current firmware, but if you experience any issues sometime a factory reset can resolve the issues. but always backup your current rom before flashing anything.

What did you use to deodex. I have the extracted system image. I need to convert it to ext4 but ext4 unpacker doesn't work on lollipop. The new firmware is on sammobile but I can upload it to Dropbox if it need be.

any feedback on system improvements / glitches in new software, or problems faced while/after flashing twrp modified zip file?
I am on locked stock firmware, so I can't test TWRP flashable zips but because the only difference is updater_script, so It is same as unmodified stock firmware.
I didn't encounter any bug on the new update, but surely it's premature to say this when the update is rolled out only hours ago.
BTW I am too waiting for feedback from fellow users.

Attached is an updated META-INF directory, extract it and replace the content.
Only needed to whom who have downloaded the flashable zip earlier. I have updated the twrp-flashable link to a new file which is working fine.
the 'twrp+decrypt' script is still giving me an error, I have removed the link from OP, will update the thread when it is fixed.

About time they fixed this. Was getting annoying. Waiting for the incremental (changed files) package to upgrade now from 060.

I haven't recieved this 061 update till now... Have already tried manually update daily but still not recieved.

Updates are generally released gradually, which is a common feature. If you want to update immediately, you must manually. This update is already available for download from ASUS (this is the same link as this thread)

What is the difference from this two "packages"? apart of the file size being "Firmware" smaller than the other...

"Firmware" contains only firmware partitions for this phone supplied by the manufacturer, not parts of Android OS.

And should we flash it also or it's enough to flash only the full rom?

I Cleared Storage and Cache of FOTAService and then forced stopped it, got the ota immediately.

Tried. Didn't get it. I'm using the 3/32 version. Could you capture the OTA and post it here?

The firmware is part of the original Rom.
