I Decided to Rebuild a complete firmware, supporting 928 F-I-G-L-K-S-T-C-W8 Edge+
Nothing to fancy in this rom its meant to be close to stock as possible, With the flexibility of removing what you don't need, and including few optimizations and tweaks, add-ons. etc.
I'll keep the thread up to date with the latest firmware for the Edge+ (as long as I have the phone) based on the firmware Changelist.
Development Update
Just a heads up!,
I have pre-ordered the S7 edge, so once the phone is released I will be selling my current Edge+, so I wont be able to release new firmware's that quickly, but I have done a lot of work with my firmware with the release of MM, to still be able to release updates for the Edge+, just not as frequently as I do now.
So even once I have sold my Edge+ and move to the S7, still expect some updates for you guys!
I will try and keep my Debloater updated when needed.
but on a positive note, I will bring my rom to the S7/S7 Edge once devolvement starts(custom recovery/root and all that stuff).
Installation Guide for Lollipop
-Copy Zip to your phone
-Boot into custom recovery and make sure to backup your current rom
-Flash the rom.zip file
-flash any other stuff like kernels, Xposed, etc
-and reboot your phone
-Done!!
Installation Guide for Marshmallow
SM-G928C / F / G / I / C7 users
You will need -
Custom recovery supporting MM - twrp-3.0.0-0-nobleltezt-nobleltezt.img.tar Flash via Odin in AP.
You will need a New MM Bootloader : -
G928F MM bootloader Flash via Odin in BL
G928C MM bootloader Flash via Odin in BL.
And my rom.
Optional but safest with less problems :- download the stock firmware for MM for your device and flash that, so it updates the whole device (modem/bootloader/etc) then follow the guide
G928FXXU2BPB6_G928FOXE2BPB6_G928FXXU2BPB6_HOME.tar
0- make sure to backup your current rom!
1 -Copy Zip to your phone
2 -Optional: flash the MM stock firmware for your device, so it updates (modem/bootloader/etc) and then skip stage 4
3 -Flash custom recovery via Odin
4 -Boot into download mode, and flash the MM bootloader via Odin in BT, otherwise your phone will not boot.
5 -Flash the rom.zip file
6 -and reboot your phone.
-Done!
Remember flashing a bootloader can be dangerous when it not for your device, And you take reasonability for doing so!
I personally have tested this on my G928F and has worked for me, but doesn't mean it will be the same result for you!
If you want to go back to Lollipop for whatever reason you will need to downgrade your bootloader or otherwise you will be stuck on a bootloop.

This guide is tested on G928F, as its my personal phone, and I have tried and tested the above method. I cant be certain this will work for other models and could lead to damage, G928T/W8 users should not try this, It will brick your phone!
If your phone is already on MM, you will only need the custom recovery for your model,
Debloater UPDATES
Some information about the Debloater.
Its to be used on any rom based on the Edge+ even can be used on a stock firmware aswell, It will give you the choice to debloat and to bring some optimization found in my rom to other firmware's. and also adds features that could be missing on other firmware's. It will bring support to multiple devices to work with any intentional roms (this means firmware's that only support intentional devices- G928F/C/G-, should work for T/W8/Dual SIM users.
This isnt a firmware, Just an add-on package
This can be used on any future updates for the Edge+.

Tips for battery life
To improve the battery, I recommend to use
[Mod][Xposed] Amplify - Battery Extender - Control alarms, services, and wakelocks
prevents wakelocks caused by rogue apps and prevents some google services keeping the device awake, etc.
[BETA] Greenify 2.9 beta 2
thanks to MM and the new Doze mode, Greenify has been updated to improve it and take advantage of it and minimize programs using up the battery when idle/screen off
you will need xposed to get the most out of them, Read up on xda about both of them. But they truly are a life saver when it comes to improving battery life. highly recommend trying them out, Just don't ask me how to use them since there is a ton of guide here on XDA about them both.

Try freezing it with titan backup, I noticed it was draining the battery too. and freezing it solved it for me since I never use NFC :good:
updated OP with this issue. ill try and see if I can find another way to fix it
yes i have it freeze with tb, solved
but now, i have the sview cover. the phone use nfc to identify the cover :/

and copied the nfcnci folder from the system.img (odex) to the phone
but nfc still greyed out.
I have a SM-G928C model, I Flashed this hoping to install xposed. But after booting my fingerprint sensor is not working. i am also getting some tui error. BTW i have already restarted it a couple of times. is there a solution?

delete the mc registry in system / app and put the stock of your phone
i used the mc folder from stock odin firmware. fingerprint sensor dont work
flashed new update from first page -> bootloop
now i have copy the fingerprint folder from AOH4 deox to my phone (system), reboot and fingerprint is now working

Hi, I have a G928T (T-Mobile edge+) running the Arter97 kernel and I'm trying to get xposed working but am hoping to not break any functionality.
Alas, is it possible that there there could be fixes for the CPU usage, NFC and fingerprint scanner problems?

Sadly Iv tried few things to fix the issue but I cant seem to found a solution at the moment. The high CPU usage seems to be because of the NFC bug, so if you disable NFC with titan backup and reboot the phone the CPU usage goes back to normal, And for the fingerprint I personally don't use it, But ill do some testing and try to resolve the issues with some luck :good:

You can flash it over your current firmware, but if you experience any issues sometime a factory reset can resolve the issues. but always backup your current rom before flashing anything.

I flash on a rom Samsung 5.1.1. Smart Manager and music disappeared. No more Xposed not. Do you have a solution, or describe my setup? Thank you

What did you use to deodex. I have the extracted system image. I need to convert it to ext4 but ext4 unpacker doesn't work on lollipop. The new firmware is on sammobile but I can upload it to Dropbox if it need be.

HOW TO INSTALL
Download ROM (and Addons you want) bellow and move to SDcard or Internal storage.
Go into recovery.
Select Advanced wipe.
Tick Cache, Data, System.
Swipe to wipe go back.
Select Install and choose rom's file zip (select correct storage).
Follow AROMA instructions.
Reboot and enjoy!
(Repeat process for any Addon you download. Reinstall ROM to remove all Addons.)
First boot takes about 10 min, be patient!

That's probably a Magisk bug backing up stock boot images. I just added the official zip to my aroma setup. I'll try to update it to the latest beta as soon as I finish updating the base

By the way don't deodex the ROM because it will slow down things.
You already said that you want this ROM to be clean right ? so no themes, no modifications. Because I love like this to.
Odexed ROM is better for speed so please just leave it odexed and do your other things without deodexing it.

I'll update to latest firmware. The post that you linked is credited in the OP and it's not at it is.
The simple debloat script breaks samsung cloud, samsung gear devices functionality, etc.. and also breaks other stuff that leads to insane battery drain (it would only last one day).
If it was so easy and so great I wouldn't bother.

Did anybody compare this ROM to the Elite Stock ROM down in this board?
The zip is certainly smaller, about 300mb.
Im starting to have some stability issues with elite stock ROM.
One has to be careful debloating a stock ROM, Samsungs setup is complicated and some things could brake.

I did and that was the one I was using before I decided to make a improved one.
You will notice a big improvement in battery life.. more features and all broken stuff from debloating fixed.. like galaxy apps.. gear and cloud
You can also wait for the weekend as I will update the base to latest.

Installed the Rom last night,everything worked just fine except the fact that I choosesd custom AOD in aroma installation and did not let the phone to enter deep sleep.
So I installed clean flash for second time with stock AOD and everything runs smoothly.
(I suppose custom AOD prevented deep sleep cause I have tried custom AOD again and had the same results,pity because I liked a clock style that stock does n8t offer but nevermind).
Many options and mods in Rom,still stock Samsung feel like a new phone.
Nothing else to add at the moment,
Still I must Sat great job done here dev!:good:

Thanks a lot for making a ROM for this device. Saw it yesterday and flashed it today on 320FL. First impression is really good.
I used the first csc option and my sim card is detected and everything works (I don't have LTE only 3g contract) also now there is a toggle for screenshot in quick settings, I didn't have that on my DBT CSC.
Updated Magisk to 16.4 and works great.

I'm not sure, but I would try to flash the latest HOME CSC of your latest nougat Stock Firmware.

No risk no fun, make a TWRP backup with EFS and flash the ROM. Only you can decide if it's working well for you.

Ya it worked fine. I solved the battery issue by clearing google play services data and cache wipe.

I know that many will say that it is an equal rom others posted, but this my rom she is differentiated. I've been looking for improvements and for it to be an excent version of a stock. I hope it is the first of many other roms not only for the J7 model but for other variants.

8. At the end of the installation of the autoreboot rom will not happen because it will present error 11, do not worry this will not affect the installation of the rom reboot manually.

I will correct the topic actually the installation by OTG or put the file inside the cell phone and not by the memory card
downloading... I'll try this rom soon feedback later.

I did not add Game Tune because it already has a script that improves performance in games, I have not tested it yet, but I can see if it will have a better result and if there is a fix I'll add it to the rom.

G610F model..led lights working only on booting and shutting down..but in charging and messages its not working..thank you

Attention
[*]* Supports Oxygen kernel but by default it does not support init.d (Comes disabled in the kernel).
If you wanted to install xposed, rom is compatible with it, but as rom comes with Magisk installed, basicIntegrity goes from true to false.
In my a rom does not come applications to access the Samsung Cloud, so I made a separate fix for anyone who wants to add. On the fix you only have the access service and you can access in settings or download the Samsung Cloud app on Google Play

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Install Recovery 3.2.2
3. Download the ROM and copy it to your pendriver and use an otg cable or copy the rom to the internal memory of the device when the device is in TWRP mode that allows the USB cable to access the internal memory of the device.
4. Mount system , data and cache
5. wipe dalvik-cache , cache , data and system
6. After that flash the ROM
7. Follow Aroma Installer
8. At the end of the installation of the autoreboot rom will not happen because it will present error 11, do not worry this will not affect the installation of the rom reboot manually.
9. Wait 2 to 5 minutes (First start of installation take a long boot).

The average consumption in the J7 Prime and more or less 6 hours of total battery use. It depends on which way you use your device. This rom was made so that when your phone is idle the app in the background does not consume the battery. And in games he tries to make sure that his batter is draining.

Have you tried debug mode in developer mode? In some cases when it's debugging mode enabled some pc happens that it does not recognize. The rom is tested before being sent to XDA, and the fixes added here are to requests from users who need them, which in itself does not present any bug.
what about screencapture? the thing that i need for this rom, ill try to install pubg if it can handle the game on it.

Can this be flashed in twrp? Does it have any performance enhancements over stock? These two things are what will make me flash this in a heartbeat.
If it had a kernel that was built with Clang 12, or Proton Clang 12, my goodness - that would be the icing on the cake. in my opinion, the stock kernel is just not that good.
This rom is great,fast,smooth and tweaks pro makes it extra special.

Have you seen the Galaxy s20 or note 20 forums? It's like Dr Keton ROM and nothing else. If development's the reason you came to Galaxy S21 you're going to be very disappointed.
8 Pro development is/will going to blow this out of water. Just saying..

Bro there are so many users who bought note series(exynos) only because of you. Because your custom roms are awesome with zero bug. Now, you started making rom for S21 series, many people will head over to newer s series including me. Thank you so much for awesome work.

@dr.ketan , I noticed an annoying bug with the rom. Viper for Android simply will not install/process. It installs fine on stock one UI 3.1. Could you kindly take a look at this. Viper is hands down the best sound mod for Android that exists.

Can you tell me the exact steps you did to get this to work? What exact versions of viper?
Also I already followed your instructions on 'step two' for tweaks pro. I followed the instructions exactly and did not receive the Tweaks pro app that I paid for. Please send me the APK that I paid $25 for.
EDIT: Dr Keton came through and sent me the tweaks pro app. Very happy now.
