This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. Our 4.2.2 version made it onto various devices to include the HTC One, Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO LTE, Nexus 4 and some other devices. We hope to do the same with our 4.3 version.

- Make sure you are on an UNLOCKED bootloader
- Have a custom recovery (TWRP)
- Wipe /data (or cache and dalvik cache if you are coming from an older version).
- Move the ROM zip to your phone
- Flash it and reboot
- Once the ROM boots, reboot back into recovery
- Flash the recommend GAPPS and ENJOY!!

This is not an official release. But it doesn't make a difference when all the functionality are there.

The kernel is in the zip file, just flash it and the kernel will be flashed automatically.

Why would you need the kernel. You don't need it unless you want to flash it on another ROM (which is no noob thing). It is included in the zip file but before you do anything, do some reading. Flashing a ROM is not for noob so learn and become a "new user" instead. There are plenty of thread in general section and general of Xperia sp section you should read before starting. Take a look there !

Battery is better then CM ? some improvements on the battery because on CM drains to fast ..

Ohh! Another good ROM for my phone. Will sure try it out. I already test most of the ROM in I9100G Community, for sure this one won't be left out.

Guys .. For your information this ROM only with Horsepower kernel There's some issue for the CM Kernel .

I got installation abort during flash..Worries of bad download, I download 3 times with different links and yet issues are same..
CWM with CM & HP kernel are same result..Any ideas?..
For sure of step installation are followed.
Edit roblem solve. Found missed arrangement folder in flash zip file..

Note : After flash ROM, need to flash HP Kernel Ver3.1.0 otherwise WIFI will not working.

Given the frequent support requests I decided to create this post to gather the most frequently asked questions regarding JellyBam v6. First of all you have to remember that our rom is based on Cyanogenmod 10.1, that actually is in nightly stage and Cyanog dev team is working to solve lots of problems like
- Wifi tethering/hotspot
- Some Camera problems (focus works 1 time on 20) SOLVED: SET MACRO in FOCUS TYPE
- Headphones secure volume
I also remember you that JellyBam 5.2 is solid and stable but only have USB Tethering, not Wifi.http://goo.im/devs/JellyBam
At the moment Siyah doesn't support Android 4.2.2 at 100%, so is strongly recommended keep the default kernel.
Now let's talk about JellyBam proper bugs:
- Touch responsive/KeyBoard Lag : Caused by PIE - Disable it in Pie Control/Trigger size/None
- Battery Drain : Caused by Media Scanner - Disable it in Android Tweaker, our apps that comes by default with JellyBam

"How can I enable AutoBrightness?" : Actually it only works if you use the toggle in the status bar - Put the brightness to Max then press AUTO.
"How can I solve the android.process.acore error?" : Go into Settings/Applications/Contacts - Delete data
"How do I edit custom toggles?" : Go into Settings/Custom tiles.
"How do I change DPI manually?" : Go into Settings/Paranoid Preferences/ Make a slide on the right and a Menu will appear on the left.
"I have signal problems, what can I do?" : Download GetRIL from PlayStore and verify your Baseband status.
"Why the last apps is not killed pressing the Kill All button?" : It's a new feature from AOKP that allows you to kill all the apps in background keeping on the only app that you are actaully using.

working so smooth!
three small bugs i've discovered so far, can anyone replicate them?
1. performance control force closes upon reboot once i activate voltage settings (set on boot). though not a big deal, simply leave it off.
2. wifi tether seems not to be working. icon shows up, but other devices do not see the phone.
3. "3 dot overflow menu button" always remains on, even if not set in the menu. would like to have menu as separate button.
despite those, definitely daily driver...

you need to tap 7 times on build number, under about phone.
and than enable it from developers options(you'll see that after doing the above).

Just downloaded 6.2 from website and all i have to say is this is the best ROM on the planet period! Just absolutely smooth. Great work from the jellybam crew . Nice work, mate!
But I've encountered a error that when I changed the number of icon and functions on the navigation bar, then the force close of system UI happened.
I had to reinstall again and when I do the same actions, it was closed unexpectedly again and it kept showing the notification of UI error happened.
Does anyone have the same situation of mine?

lockscreen background at settings\PA section\lock screen\background.
nav bar works fine for me 3\4 icons and changed their shortcut as well.

This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. Our 4.2.2 version made it onto various devices to include the HTC One, Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO LTE, Nexus 4 and some other devices. We hope to do the same with our 4.3 version.​

Yes it is Dirty rom for dirty guys

just flashed this rom...on first look, i really like it
like the dark keyboard(which is darker than normal keyboard, but not black like in slimbean) , the halo feature and kill all apps and long press to kill feature
definetely ill stay a while on this rom to check battery life and daily usability

I don't know.. i don't own a 64gb card .
But there are several roms with this problem.. i think you have to try it

They decide what settings and functions should be in the rom..but i will submit your wishes ,maybe they'll change something

Been using temaseks for ages but really want halo but PA by it's self is clunky and lacking a lot of CM features.
This rom seems perfect, hope it's stable, flashing now.

Here's how to fix the buggy cam on grouper blobs based ROM. This method was found by @JustChris20 on the base of @laufersteppenwolf'work so go thank them
*** Videorecording patch for grouper blobs ***
This is an all in one patch with ported stock cam which should work for all grouper blobs roms.
Go in recovery and install this patch. First read all carefully!!!
1. use BeanstalkCam+ to start camera instead of camera!
2. if you close the cam, the cam is always in the background. open your app history and swipe the camera from this view (or use the swipe all button, don't swipe the beanstalkcam+ at first). Now you will notice a vibration what tells you that your system is ready for playback.
3. this patch uses the ported stockcam. if you don't like it don't install the patch, use the scripts from laufersteppenwolf instead...
4. use mx player for swapping beetween camera and preview, that works... be sure that you enabled s/w decode (local) in your settings... After closing the camera and swiping it from the app history, you can choose the videoplayer of your choice or use videoplay such as youtube.

In fact there are a lot of init.d scripts that you can choose to activate or not and which can improve our graphics

Yeah The doubletap screen off isnt here
But when i activate Halo, it begins to lagg :S

This ROM is supersmooth ,no hang or lag at all + feature filled ,I think currently the best kitkat tom for 4x . btw the android tweaker app is outdated.

The camera doesn't work on any 4.4.2 ROMs so I delete camera.tegra.so so that the camera won't eat your battery.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Great work, DU is one of the coolest roms out there.
In other hand i will be glad to help but unfortunately i don't have the skills to properly debug that radio log, i have looked at it and saw lots of errors like this :

I pulled the official apns from CyanogenMod and mobile data works now too. Did you add your apn manually or does your provider add them automatically? Could you pls send me a picture of your apn list.

Oh yes maybe your provider add it or your provider is supported by this APN list. Normal this list is full of apns you can pick. I will build a new verision now. Thank you for the help dude. :good:

No bugs and no FC xposed súper su working . For me data work and all. My provider add the apn automatic. Thanks for this ROM and all your work this is awesome quick theme .

Finally i was settled on resurrection rom and was quite happy with that but now orden released another awesome rom now i cant wait to try this?any major bugs aside data? Bcoz i totally use wifi so data is not a big concern for me

No bugs for me all working and data maybe dont are a problem for you just try . About supersu i dont know because I always flash it XD .

Finally i was settled on resurrection rom and was quite happy with that but now orden released another awesome rom now i cant wait to try this��any major bugs aside data? Bcoz i totally use wifi so data is not a big concern for me

Is super su inbuilt or we have to flash it?

SuperSU is inbuild and will automatically be flashed if you flash the rom.

Good news guys. Data is fixed will upload new version.
