About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!!

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Great work, DU is one of the coolest roms out there.
In other hand i will be glad to help but unfortunately i don't have the skills to properly debug that radio log, i have looked at it and saw lots of errors like this :

I pulled the official apns from CyanogenMod and mobile data works now too. Did you add your apn manually or does your provider add them automatically? Could you pls send me a picture of your apn list.

Oh yes maybe your provider add it or your provider is supported by this APN list. Normal this list is full of apns you can pick. I will build a new verision now. Thank you for the help dude. :good:

No bugs and no FC xposed súper su working . For me data work and all. My provider add the apn automatic. Thanks for this ROM and all your work this is awesome quick theme .
Finally i was settled on resurrection rom and was quite happy with that but now orden released another awesome rom now i cant wait to try this?any major bugs aside data? Bcoz i totally use wifi so data is not a big concern for me

No bugs for me all working and data maybe dont are a problem for you just try . About supersu i dont know because I always flash it XD .

SuperSU is inbuild and will automatically be flashed if you flash the rom.

This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. Our 4.2.2 version made it onto various devices to include the HTC One, Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO LTE, Nexus 4 and some other devices. We hope to do the same with our 4.3 version.

Yes it is Dirty rom for dirty guys
just flashed this rom...on first look, i really like it
like the dark keyboard(which is darker than normal keyboard, but not black like in slimbean) , the halo feature and kill all apps and long press to kill feature
definetely ill stay a while on this rom to check battery life and daily usability

I don't know.. i don't own a 64gb card .
But there are several roms with this problem.. i think you have to try it
ok, just see that recent ram bar and kill all apps doenst work ^

despite of that, what i would to see in next relase is:
led notification settings, like app-specific settings and ability to turn off charging led light
ability to change the settings style...i like the stock settings style.
and perhaps the ability to swipe right oder left to switch between notification drawer and quicksettings (when one of them is already pulled down)
other than that, good work..
ill definetely donate some money when it gets my daily

I'm not able to change things in Team Dirt's Source , sorry :/
They decide what settings and functions should be in the rom..but i will submit your wishes ,maybe they'll change something
There are app specific LED settings under settings/romControl. Is it what you mean?

This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. The kernel is in the zip file, just flash it and the kernel will be flashed automatically.

Why would you need the kernel. You don't need it unless you want to flash it on another ROM (which is no noob thing). It is included in the zip file but before you do anything, do some reading. Flashing a ROM is not for noob so learn and become a "new user" instead. There are plenty of thread in general section and general of Xperia sp section you should read before starting. Take a look there !

Battery is better then CM ? some improvements on the battery because on CM drains to fast ..

Okay so here is the deal..
It says it includes halo multiwindow....almost everything..but what i don't get is that it got xposed in it...and still it talks about booting in ART...THATS EITHER TOO COOL OR TOO UNNATURAL ..downloading.....

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

As always some notes by me:
I made this Rom for all LG L90 models but I only own a D405 which makes it nearly impossible to fix any issues on other variants.
- D415 users don't need to unlock bootloader, it is already open
- Yes, Ambient Display is included @arunon2013
- About StormySea: I will keep up doing standalone flashable zips.
I'll dig up my L90 and give it a shot!

Oh thank you. You're right I just copied and pasted the url which was the url logged into my dev account. I corrected it in the OP.
The ROM is great, but it have some bugs that are allready solved in CM13 like HereMaps FC and enable to store pictures on SD Card. I hope that it will be solved soon so i can use it as my daily driver. Maybe when it will be updated to the latest CM source and switched to Android 6.0.1 it will be solved.. By the way, great job...

Seriously, I don't think a specific app FC is a Rom issue. Slim developing is a bit slow atm but they are starting to do some work on M. We will merge up with them as soon as they are done with merging 6.0.1_r3 from AOSP.
What do you mean by storing images on the sdcard? Does the camera app lack this feature or do you mean something else?

When HereMaps is about it is ROM based issue, that is why i did not use CM13 untill it's not updated to Android 6.0.1, it had exact the same problem with this app and now on 6.0.1 the app work perfect without any FC. As for Camera, there is no option to store pictures on SD Card, this was issue on CM too untill 20160103 build also.. Now there is option for Storage location where it is a choice to use internal memory or SD card..

Why do you think that layers is old?
I don't know all good themes aren't free like normal cm13 themes , in any case for you it can be pretty good but I can't find a theme that I like

The same issue was fixed some time ago on cm, so i think it's just matter of adding that fix

I think I remember I hadn't this bug on the last build? WhatsApp camera displays the preview image correctly... somehow.
This isn't Trebuchet. If you don't like feel free to use CM's launcher or any other like Nova.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currently an issue that we are aware of and are addressing. For now, after you've changed the density -- reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

screenshots have been uploaded and more will be uploaded soon enough and if possible try to provide us with ur screen shots and u may even post ur screen shots how ur device looks with this rom!!!

yes I have tested banks gapps on my test builds they do worked fine!!! I hope they will work fine on this rom too!!! cant test them now as I am busy with other things which u know!!!

Open Gapps works fine without any fc. ( No need to flash keyboard zip). Delta Gapps give setup wizard fc.

Error theme and Theme Chooser

Hey.... I tested banks gapps linked in this post and faced seriously issues... Can't open Play Store and can't push quick settings. Flashed Open GApps Nano and worked fine. Thanks for this awesome ROM!

Thanks for testing Banks gapps!!! Actually they shouldn't give errors as they are based for arm devices only.

Using the rom for almost 10 hrs. Here is my setup
- flashed the rom, open gapps micro pack, xposed framework v84 with twrp v2.8.6
- Rom is smooth with lots of customization options
- No keyboard fc
- Everything works - Ril, bluetooth, gps, 3g,wifi,Hotspot, 1080p video shoot and playback, store in sd card.
- Battery backup seems ok. Could be improved with further recharge cycles.
- Chromium browser fc after a while. Looked at logs and seems like due to low memory the app is closing itself.. Will send you logcat soon.
- Cant install official fb app. First i tried with titanium backup... And TiBu used to close itself after a while without instaling fb app. Then i tried installing through play store... It showed "installing" for around 30 mins without installing the app. Then i downloaded apk and tried installing, again with no success. Lastly i tried with xda labs and app use to close itself after a while.
Also, I noticed serious hang/lag issues while installing fb app. Rest of the time phon worked like a charm without any lags.

No problem here with Facebook app and no any FC with chromium. Everything works great.
I'm using TWRP 3.0.2.0 by @GHsR, without xposed and Open GApps Nano. And for Facebook app... I patched it for use without messenger with FBPatcher... And I using Alpha version. Installed here in 2-3min without any problem.

I clearly mentioned to use the latest twrp in my post and have provided u with the links twice one in Download section and the other in flashing instruction section, I hope you first follow the instructions properly and then report back!!!! Gapps and ROMs based on 6.0.1 cause error with old recoveries !!!! I AM AGAIN REPEATING THIS TO ALL TO PLEASE USE TWRP 3.0.2 BY @GHsR!!!! Other wise u may face issues with ROM and gapps!!!And about xposed as mentioned in my post I will not bother to care about your problems if you use xposed module!!!!you may have to sort that out on your own because dirty unicorns don't provide any support for xposed modules!!!

Can u provide link for fb patcher and are you using latest alpha fb app?

Well, the april build of twrp by ghsr wasn't working so I used old twrp. I didn't knew about may release of twrp by ghsr and i had already flashed du rom by then so I didn't flash latest twrp.
I will use the latest twrp and see how it works.
