AFAIK that would work... It's just a standard 3.5mm jack

BT Mic?

Hey all, I know for certain that my headset (altec lansing backbeat 903s) support mic input. I've tested it on my phone... so why not on the nook color? Last time I tried (on cm7 7.1 stable) it froze/rebooted my nc...
And I think I read something about there not being a bluetooth profile on the nc... anyone get bt working? instructions?
There are no audio input drivers for the Nook.

Could you elaborate? Does that mean no audio input is possible at all, or is it a simple matter of getting a driver running to allow input?

It is not possible right now and will most likely never be. There would have to be drivers created to support it and there doesn't seem to be much interest in getting it done.

Headsets not working with stock ROMs!!!

Hi everybody!
I have a weired problem with my htc legend headsets: when I use them with custom roms based on Cyanogenmod, they works perfectly. But when I use them with roms based on stock ones, i can only listen to music or radio, but it's impossible to hear voice in incoming calls and my voice is not hearable by the person in the other side!!
Sorry for my bad english.

Is you headset by htc or did you buy anything else?

now I'm using crq_1.1 and the headsets are not working, just like when I used Blayo and ogo2 roms.
but when I use Cyanogenmod (all versions) or Devil or ExtremeLegend_Fuse (All roms based on Cyanogenmod), they works fine!!!

I have the same question !
FM radio works for me with CM10+Semaphore kernel and Spirit FM app. I think it even works on stock CM10 if you use Spirit FM, but take care, it's on your own risk.

Just for clarification, some people have reported Spirit FM breaking their phone's speaker, very small percentage mind you, but enough to not risk it...
In short, don't use Spirit FM with your phone speaker and you'll be fine.

The FM radio drivers are closed source drivers from Samsung and thus very hard to port.
You may use Spirit FM but it can break your phones speakers so I wouldn't use it.

Nobody has ever explained why this is. Does it somehow magically force the speaker voltage to go ridiculously high or somehow bypass the maximum volume? Can any care to explain how an app can physically break your speaker
I use 4.1.2 HellyBean for several months and it is the fastest ROM I have ever tried. Give it a chance!
