Discuss the official nightlies here! Also, TheMorpheus has taken over building and distributing N8000 unofficial builds, so go to his thread for more up to date builds!

Instructions
0. You need a recovery that supports SELinux. I'm told that recent versions of CWM support it, but I haven't tried them myself. So if you aren't on the latest CWM (in particular, if you're on the last version of TWRP officially released for this device) you will need to flash a newer recovery. For best results, use my TWRP 2.6.3.x builds (other recoveries may not be compatible with delta updates for official nightlies).
If you want to flash my recovery, download the recovery.img and flash it using ODIN or Mobile ODIN. You can also use Recovery Tools to flash it from your device
1. Flash the ROM.
2. Flash SuperSU if you want root (it's not yet included in the ROM). I have not tried any other Superuser apps but SuperSU is supposed to be incorporated into Omni eventually. Important: you may need to install a backup script using SuperSU to persist it across flashes - see the settings in SuperSU for that.
3. Flash Kitkat/4.4 compatible Gapps (PA has some that work with this ROM).
1-3 can be queued in TWRP.
4. If coming from a different ROM wipe data/factory reset, otherwise you probably won't boot
Downloads
TWRP 2.6.3.1 (unofficial version; the 4th digit is basically just for device specific changes). Use Flashify, Mobile Odin, or Recovery Tools to flash .img files.
twrp-2.6.3.1-n8000.img
twrp-2.6.3.1-n8013.img
ODIN flashable tars:
twrp-2.6.3.1-n8000.tar.md5
twrp-2.6.3.1-n8013.tar.md5
You must flash this (or other 4.4 compatible recovery) if you're on the official TWRP 2.6.3.0 or other outdated recoveries, if you get an error about set_metadata_recursive when flashing

Experimental stuff
Multiwindow, to me, is the one of the most exciting features of OmniROM, but it is a work in progress and not completed yet. I will be doing builds with MultiWindow, but currently it does not function well yet - no bug reports on this please, but feel free to discuss it here.
Building instructions
For n801x, the repos are now on omnirom so you can just repo sync the omnirom tree and then brunch n801x. You'll need to cherry pick kernel fixes though.
For n8000, here's my local_manifests.xml

Changelog
1/6/14 (test, n8013 only): s3cfb drivers updated using i9300 update 12 code, also seems to fix screen issues but build seems laggy - not sure if related.
1/4/14: s3cfb commit reverted, fixes screen issues.
1/3/14: Quicksettings configuration and more tiles merged!
1/2/14: Threw in the towel and rolled back to Mali r3p1 drivers, screen glitches seem to be gone.
1/1/14: Updated libUMP.so, not sure if this has any effect.
12/27/13: Just a build for N8000 to fix audio.
12/25/13: Sorry for the lack of changelog updates, but not that much has changed recently. There are a host of new options in the interface settings, and that's the main difference. Camcorder audio sort of works. First N8000 build.
12/03/13: The big change is that xplodwild is a genius and he got Multiwindow sort of working again on Kitkat. It still crashes a lot of apps but you can try it out at least. Just please don't report any bugs about it to him (can talk about them here if you want).
Some other neat stuff:
Performance Control (in settings) also got a major UI revamp, see https://gerrit.omnirom.org/3067 - Great work Alexander Martinz!
There also appear to be some camera improvements for smdk4412 devices ( https://gerrit.omnirom.org/3052 ) - dunno how much this changes really, since tablet cameras universally suck
The "transformer yelling" during unlock while playing music seems to have been fixed! https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/c/3014/
Option to hide ADB debugging notification: https://gerrit.omnirom.org/2933
11/29/13: First build

So this is really weird to have the first bug report be yourself, but has anyone experienced something like this? All of a sudden I'm getting image persistence in the corners of my screen (eg. clock shows up in recovery) as well as fading around the edges (I was like woah, Google Launcher fades the edges now too? Wait a minute...). I've had an issue where my LCD cable was loose before and it resulted in weird artifacts until I opened up my tablet and reinserted the cable, but I'm wondering if this is caused by the same thing or if it's something I've done wrong with the ROM. It even shows up in recovery and at boot time. And now my screen is flickering like crazy (in everything, ROM or recovery). I've been running this build for about a day though so if it's more than just a hardware issue on my tablet it probably won't show up instantly. I'm 90% sure it's because of my loose cable thing but just as a fair warning to anyone else...

Hah dude, I just posted that 5 minutes ago... anyway, I have a project to work on for school and finals to study for so I unfortunately cannot spend much more time than I already have on this for a few weeks (I really already spent too much time today setting up this thread and stuff). I really don't think this is an issue of the ROM but rather just my tablet because I've had a history of weird screen issues (I really should have RMAed it when it started happening but i started to depend on it heavily for school/research work). I personally think it should be safe to flash, no different from any other ROM since it uses more or less the same device code/blobs, but I don't really know since it's kind of coincidental that this happened to me today. I'd appreciate it if people would try it out and report back if they see this happen. FWIW the persistence/burn in went away but my screen was still flickering after I powered it down for a while, so I'm just going to shut it down for tonight and see what it's like tomorrow.

Can we get some pics or a video? My eyes must behold this rom!

I've been trying to upload screenshots to the screenshots page but for some reason XDA keeps eating them. I'm trying to use all the features of DevDB rather than put everything in the OP so that it's more organized[1]
I'll try again later, but for now there's just a screenshot of the settings app which shows the glorious Android 4.4 label. I don't know why it's not showing the other files I uploaded.
Just FYI, my screen persistence/burn in and flickering issue went away. One thing that I forgot is that OmniROM is using newer Mali (GPU) drivers than CM10 was (and I think CM11 as well, since most of the experienced Exynos guys jumped ship to Omni) for Exynos 4412 devices. So there's a small chance that that's related, but most likely it's just the screen issues that my specific unit has had since a few months after I got it.
[1] On that note, I'd really appreciate it if you guys could use the bug reports feature when reporting bugs, it seems much more organized than having bug reports scattered through a thread. We can keep the thread for general discussion and perhaps developer talk, and the bug tracker will make it easier for people to find bugs at a glance.
Oh, derp! XDA limits PNG files to a maximum of 256KB, which is too small for any screenshots except for the settings screen which is mostly black and white. Here's a temporary solution I suppose, I'll just stick them on my Dropbox for now: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2qkn7aj9g8l1y3l/zf8uH4lb8O
There's not a whole lot new here yet to be honest, Omni is mostly just getting started and some of the innovations have been more phone oriented. But you can see the cool Kitkat features such as transparent status and navbars, as well as the immersive mode/swipe down to show notification bar feature (which is supported in MX Player, pretty neat). And the launcher pictured is the Google Experience Launcher so you get your Google Now on the leftmost homescreen which is neat. Though I prefer Action Launcher Pro anyway so it doesn't really matter to me.

that screen "issues" you are talking about... yeah, i have that too. locked tablet, and on unlock, whole screen goes white. restarted it and everything is fine. for now.
only bug i found is only half visible clock in expanded notification bar. a little annoying.

Awesome! Thanks for bringing 4.4 to 8013!

Oh, did the screen issue happen after flashing the ROM or is that something that happened on your tablet before too?
Yeah, the clock thing is really weird and annoying, not sure why it happens. I think there aren't that many tablet users of Omni so some stuff may just be broken on some tablet layouts. I'll look into it in a few days.

yup, after flashing rom (which is awesome by the way, i'm looking forward for your new updates)... but, for now after that one reboot i haven't experienced any screen issues
oh, and for clock... it dissapeared completely and now i have an empty space which is better because that half clock was useless. so yeah, if you implement tablet mode it will be perfect for me

Is the recovery that you have on this thread just the latest TWRP? also an app that works well flashing the recovery (after an hour of trying to flash the recovery img is recovery tools. here is the link, it will save alot of time.

Interesting. I was having issues playing Netflix--I had sound but no video. This xposed module for cm10.1 fixed it for me.
I have no idea why it works. I just remembered having to do that for cm10.1, so I tried it.

Hmm, that's kind of worrying. Well, your issue is different from mine so maybe it's not a big deal but if these issues persist I may have to pull my builds for a while until someone with more knowledge like Entropy512 can look at my work. I don't want to cause problems if there is even a small chance of it.

Yes, it's just the latest TWRP built from source. When I started working on this at least the one for our device was not up to date, I haven't checked to see if they've posted a newer one. I imagine since Dees_Troy is an Omni developer eventually we might get an official update. I'm guessing it's just hard for him since he's managing so many devices to keep track of them all.
As I mentioned in the OP, this recovery might not work completely, so if you have issues going back to a different ROM you might need to flash a different one using Odin.

For Netflix I just flashed the zip that was done rather than the xposed. It works just fine now.

I have had zero issues so far. I flashed the standard version if the rom and pa mini gapps using cwm 6.0.4.4. Ive got no screen issues... All apps are running fine. All of my video apps are working after doing that xposed module.
No issues to report atm

How to Install Raging Bionic:
YOU MUST BE ON STOCK 98.72.22 JB KERNEL
Boot into Safestrap v3.11
Select any Slot
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Wipe System
Install ragingbionic.zip
Reboot System
Initial boot takes about 5 minutes...Dont Panic
Reboot
Profit
Enabling Overclock:
The OC script is in /system/etc/init.d The scripts are are commented out to prevent initial boot issues. I've had Bionics that crash at 1250mhz, while others fly at 1350+. Use tweakerz to "test the waters" then go to the OC script, uncomment the scripts (delete the # in front of the script), and modify the scripts to suit your desired speed and voltages. For those of you on a 4 slot, leave the last line commented out.
Reboot.
Profit.
Remember, once you uncomment the scripts, OC will stick. If you push it too far you will find yourself editing with adb through recovery or reflashing your bootlooping soft brick. Have fun guys and gals
If you're not comfortable working with the scripts, you can always just apply settings in tweakerz. This, however, will not survive a reboot.
I, Team Rage, XDA, nor anyone else will be responsible for what you do to your phone! If you do this right it should work well. If not...well...that's what we're here for. Remember, we all do this for fun and have real lives too. If you find any bugs, please be sure you followed the INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS exactly before reporting. This ROM is designed for SAFESTRAP 3.11 ONLY. Flash other methods at your own risk!!

This looks promising, It's got some features I'd love to see added to the official CM10, though. Overclock and PieControls are what I'm most interested in, but overall it looks good. I'm waiting for a CM10 themed Stock rom, though.

Awesome! I took a go at it, but I never got it to work. I'd switch to this in an instant if it looked like stock android. Either that, or a ported AOSP lockscreen and launcher would be nice. I've played around, but got nowhere, just a softbrick. It's a good thing I learned ADB when I did, or I'd be in trouble.

Great ROM gave it a try out on my Bionic, OC works fine I can push my Bionic to 1.45ghz before to gets unstable, but that was using dtrail's overclocked jbx kernel in the razr forms, the only thing that I miss from AOSP 4.1.2 is the default lockscreen with its cool music controls if that could be included it would be awesome, however I am ordering my S4 tonight but will keep my Bionic around and this or CM 10.1 will probably drive it
can this rom add custom actions when clicking on the time in notifications
Oh, no, It works now. I couldn't find a link to SafeStrap before, but after ton of searching, I fixed it. I'm running 4.2.2 now. Anyway, yeah, if you could get a rom themed like AOSP or CyanogenMod, I'd flash it in a heartbeat

I know, haha. I got my Bionic yesterday, and boy did I screw up. Before I had taken it to Verizon, I installed the old version of Bootstrap, which would bork the system. I installed it, then rebooted, and got the Encryption Unsucessful error. I temp fixed it from adb, and took it to the store. The guy at the desk turned it off, put in the sim, and looked confused as could be when he saw the encryption error. He looked at me and was kinda like, "Um.... Sir.... Your phone..." And I just took it and walked out. Anyway, fixed it after an hour of googling, and installed CM10 in the first slot. Back on topic, can I flash this ROM over stock?

In theory it should work, although not tested. If you want to try make sure you have the FXZ handy and familiarize yourself with the JB root method just in case something goes sideways.

Best way is to use safe strap and partition ROM slots. Most runs on slot runs. You don't wanna flash your stock ROM.

I loaded this ROM, and while I do think it performs great, I must report that Photosphere technically works although it does not perform as Photosphere should at all. I could never get it to create anything. Is this something everyone is experiencing, or something secluded to just me?
For the developer, my loading of the ROM included no extra apps outside of what is already baked in. I also made no configuration changes, simply loaded it and tried out Photosphere.
I want to check this ROM out, but I can't get past the setup screen, it keeps telling me to wait. I'm on Page Plus, and I believe that is causing it not to activate. Is there a way to deactivate or remove the initial setup screen?

Delete the ROM Slot you're using and recreate it. You've probably got some old data hanging around. Others have experienced this and that has been a 100% golden fix

If nobody has tested this in their stock slots... I'm willing to test it... For science. If all else fails, I'll RSD, re-safestrap, and restore CM10. I'm just waiting for a AOSP themed version though .-. I'm OCD about having that look, for some reason. Hopefully it'll work on Stock slot, though. It should.

I don't have time now but in the past I'm pretty sure I nandroided my unsafe and messed with it and then wiped it and restored the image fine so I'd imagine it would go fine. Before Rage came along I restored that same image to Slot4 and ran a safe stock so I could more comfortably poke it and if it got pisses just wipe S4.

Is the issue of Bootloop when turning on the GPS resolved in this ROM?
Also, in the Screenshots above the ROM version shows as 4.2.2. Is this the correct screenshot?
Installed However......
Install went ok. Got stuck in boot screen the first time around then reinstalled a second time and it booted fine. Did not install gapps yet. Right now I see no access to system settings via icon in apps drawer or via menu. Ech install I've done full wipes.

For the screenshot, just meant to give you an idea of how it looks. I have no bootloop issues with gps turned on just not work and nothing more.

As for all the tests I have been able to do with gps, if it doesn't bootloop when turned on, it does tend to try to run in in the background. So I recommend that you just turn it off then reboot. That way it doesn't even try to run (take up resources).

Found a the setting issue, creating a fix for it, had to do with the second port, the first one works well, will upload the fix soon.

This ROM is amazing, but I keep getting FCs. com.google.gapps or something like that FCs almost every thirty minutes and com.google.location or something like that FCs about every two hours. Could it be the gapps package, or is it the rom?

The ROM will also softboot randomly for no reason at all. I have been running this ROM for three days now with goo.im gapps and the GPS file zip from the cm10.2 thread.

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][5.0.2][CM-12.0] CyanogenMod 12 for jfltespr (2015-01-26 / FINAL)

The Sprint Galaxy S4 is now receiving official CM 12 builds. This thread is here for reference purposes only. No new unofficial builds will be made.
It seems that the CyanogenMod folks are kicking along pretty well getting Lollipop ready. I was finally able to get a bootable version of CyanogenMod 12 for our phone, the jfltespr. The jflte devices are being de-unified again.
I am building a rather "plain" version, which consists of all merged GitHub items, along with cherry picks that are required to build the ROM.

Disclaimer
This ROM is under development, and the file(s) I provide are a snapshot at a particular point in time. There are no guarantees that they will work. On the other hand, it's quite possible that the file(s) here may make your phone explode, make your boy/girlfriend leave for another country, cause you immense financial loss or other horrible things. I'm not responsible for any of it. I'm just giving you a file.
Installation Instructions
Do a nandroid! What happens when the ROM doesn't work??
Use TWRP! CWM has been mentioned to work as well, but I do not personally support it.
Factory Reset! (Wipe Cache/Dalvik/Data)
Install my ROM ZIP file!
Install gapps (PA has Lollipop gapps in ALPHA) (Slim has Lollipop gapps here)
Install SuperSU!
Current Build Info
CM GitHub as of 01/26/15 @ 11:05 AM EST
Cherry Pick: (#79041) - add ANT+ Wireless support
Kernel Source
This ROM is built from CyanogenMod sources. You may retrieve the kernel source here!
What Works / Doesn't
Working: Mobile Data
Working: WiFi - Some users have experienced issues having BT and WiFi on at the same time. One reported fix is to change WiFi to use the 5Ghz channel.
Working: GPS - Some SPH-L720T users have experienced non-functional GPS. I suggest flashing back to TouchWiz and acquiring a GPS lock with GPS Status & Toolbox. Once that happens, go right back to recovery and reflash CM12.
Working: Camera - You may have to exit and go back in before it starts working properly. Also, occasionally the camera will appear to take photos but freeze the preview window and not actually take the photo. Google Camera and other third party apps don't seem to have this problem.
Working: NFC
Somewhat Working: Bluetooth - Some users have experienced slow A2DP playback or issues connecting to devices.
Not Working: Any other potential CM bugs. After all, this is an early release and can be potentially quite buggy.
Not Tested: Anything not mentioned above.
Found Bugs
When plugged in for charging, if you power off the phone, it will reboot after a short period of time. The touchscreen will not be functional. If you hold down the power button to reboot, the phone will be fine.
When using the stock messaging app, SMS messages will show as failed -- but they do go through. I tested to another mobile user and a Google Voice number. MMS doesn't seem to show an error.
Excessive battery drain due to NfcNci.apk in /system/app (reported for the Int'l CM 12 build). You can delete the APK if you experience high battery use from "Miscellaneous". [Hopefully this is fixed in the 11/24 build. Please respond if you notice any improvement]
Location icon stays in the status bar. This happens even if location is turned off.
Home button does not wake device.
I will post new versions of the ROM when I get a chance. New versions will be compiled daily and put into my MEGA folder.

You mention using TWRP... I'm using ClockWorkMod... Is that bad?
This is awesome. I wasn't expecting a build for this for another couple weeks. Keep up the good work!
I haven't followed or used CWM or PhilZ recoveries in quite a while -- I can't confirm that CWM will or won't work. I posted what worked for me, and it's more of a "recommended" method since I know it worked. You can certainly try CWM. If it works, I'll throw CWM in the OP with TWRP!

If you or anyone else gets it installed, feel free to let me know what works and doesn't, so I can track it in the OP and see if there may be some fixes I can do and submit. Some of the bugs are going to be fixed by the CM folks, but they're busy working on getting the Nexus devices flawless, methinks.

I'll try it... Do I risk bricking if I use CWM instead of TWRP? Or just risk it not installing?
Well, I've never seen an actual "brick" by using the wrong recovery -- with the exception of the bad NAND in the old S2. If CWM doesn't work properly, you may have an incomplete/empty /system partition or other potential filesystem problems, which will not let your phone boot. If that's the case, you should be able to restore your nandroid with no issues. Flashing is always a risk unfortunately!

Agreed -- if you need your phone for work, I wouldn't recommend flashing experimental builds like this one. I'd feel bad if you install it and miss out on something at work. Maybe someone will cue in with any CWM experiences.

I just installed with Philz and everything seems to work okay. The only bugs I have seen so far is I had to toggle airplane mode to get LTE to kick in and I am unable to download an attachment from Gmail. I live on the edge Sprint service so I will see how roaming works this evening.

Yeah it probably is. Do I just flash TWRP with Odin? Got a TWRP download link?
Also, if I make a backup in CWM, can I restore it in TWRP?

DEVICE DISCLAIMER:
I DON'T OWN THE DEVICE. TESTING ON THE SPECIFIC DEVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO TESTERS
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested ON HAMMERHEAD, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, MAKO, shamu builds are provided AS-IS. With that in mind, I have to say that the google+ community has been flashing mako builds for a looong time and hasn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd share it here, too.
That said, welcome aboard!

F.A.Q.
This will be the post where I am going to write any new updates for my ROM. First of all, welcome!
For mako's forums, this is a new ROM. But for Google+, it isn't. I have been testing it and releasing some builds in this private community, so make sure to ask to join for the latest info! I created this thread to let more people try my ROM, only now that I feel that it is in an almost perfect condition.
As as I said, my idea is to create a better stock ROM, and this is my target goal.
Another one of my target goals is to make the release of a new build almost automated. Right now, the compilation of the 6 devices build list is finishing, and is uploaded to basketbuild, using clever smart scripts. This also updates the changelog in my site, so I don't have to write a new post every time a new build is released. Everything should just work!
Speaking of releases, the ROM comes with an updater, so you don't even have to check the community or this thread for new links. But follow the pushbullet channel if you want!
I've been copy/pasting information for the past half hour, so this new thread is bound to have mistakes and inconsistencies. Let me know and I'll fix it!
Some other important points:
You have to flash SuperSU and GApps.
If you have a question, you should check out google+, in case it's there.
For the Devs: check my vendor folder, I have been developing some automation scripts which, I think, you will like!
I am an one man team, sorry for any slow responses.
Yes, this ROM is released for 6 devices, not mako or hammerhead only. You can grab the zips from Basketbuild. I haven't created XDA threads for the others (yet) because I don't own them, but I thought I should give a go at mako, since I owned the device before.
I hope you like the ROM!!!
Thank you very much for Krexus @KreAch3R , really love the stability, smoothness and simplicity...Krexy indeed! ?

Hello! I'm sorry your first experience was bad. Please join the community so you can see other people's experience. Also, you can check the screenshots in DevDB to see that the ROM is booting.
Now, to troubleshoot. Did you try to flash only the ROM? If you did, check if your downloaded file matches this MD5: 8833b5804b786c6dbc4cc14f17b4486d And you don't need to let it one whole night bootlooping, stop it after 10min.

Many Thanks @KreAch3R!! I am downloading it again as I type. In the past I used to flash ROM, boot the ROM and then flash gApps. I encountered many FCs that way. Now I flash ROM and gApps(only playstore), opengapps pico to be precise. For previous ROMs it has worked, would you suggest flashing them seperately?
I will update this post in bit after the install. Hopefully it goes smooth!
Update: Perfect! booted up nice! Time to play around with it, Thanks again for this beauty!

Great! I hope you like it!
To answer your question: OpenGApps are definitely having SetupWizard FCing if you boot once before flashing them. I solve this by wiping data after the first boot.
I thought though that this happens with every GApps package on marshmallow (never tested it tbh). Isn't this the case? Which gapps have you flashed on Marshmallow roms that didn't do that?

None, I think they all do that. So far I tested Open and bAnks. Both didn't work when installed after booting the ROM.
The first time I was stuck on bootloop was because TWRP asked me to run Super SU script and I went ahead with it, this time I didn't run the script after ROM and GAPPS install. So far, I am liking everything. I still haven't had a chance to charge full battery and judge the battery stats but the performance and fluidity is spot on!

Ah, that's why. When you flash the latest SuperSU zips, they go systemless by default, so TWRP isn't detecting any SuperSU on system. TWRP is vey outdated on this front and Chainfire himself suggests never to press that button.
Regarding mako, krexus and a new battery
Great rom. Very smooth and bloat free.
2 things: i miss hide search from recents , the cm-style settings (redundant wifi / bt/ data switches at the top) are a jb/kk era throwback
Is the kernel based on Aldy's (minimal rom)? He has the best MM kernel for mako, in my testing.
Keep it up, all is well when the thread is quiet

Could someone tell me about this ROM? How is battery life?

After going through chroma, minimal, resurrection, fake, orion, back to minimal, chroma, and lastly Krexus.
I think I have finally quenched my flashing thirst with Krexus+Quanta v10. It's only been a day, so far its fluid, and battery is holding up pretty good. Minimal OS is pretty good as well I will admit but I flashed Krexus because the future of Minimal OS looked in doubt. Now that CallmeAldy is back at supporting Minimal OS, it will be a tough choice between Krexus and Minimal. :silly:

Hide searchbar is there, just in a different place. Look under apps--> default apps --> assistant & voice input --> show widget. That's where it is the perfect place for me. As for qs drawer, I don't want to move away from stock right now.
The default mako kernel is Aldy's marshmallow kernel, yes. Not AK, just the stock one he made so that a marshmallow ROM can boot.
I only include one in mako because it is needed. I go with stock Google kernels in all other devices.
& yeah, no news is good news in dev threads. It means no bugs

That is what I get from all my mako users too, that they have seen a greater fluidity and battery usage. You know how it's all personal etc, but I have heard it from all of them, so that's worth mentioning. I had a mako (now my brother's) and he says the same too.
My personal choice is Quanta as well. Perfect for my/his needs.
As far as choice, Minimal and Krexus are brothers (a lot of common code between us, as Aldy finds the time to update it and merge stuff). In some time, I suppose MininalOS is going to have a lot of krexus stuff and then some more, while I keep going the "better stock" way. So it's just about the ROM philosophy.
I'm loving this ROM, testing the battery life and enjoying so far. Just one issue that I noticed is tab style on Chrome it's not dettached in recents, it's like pre-Lollipop days.
I'll try it right now, but I can't find your custom setup for the stock of "Open-GApps" which you mention in the FAQs. I already applied to the Google+ Community, but I've to wait.
Thanks
EDIT: I found it, probably i misunderstood that this gapps package was personalized by you, hence I wasn't able to find it.
EDIT2: I flashed latest supersu 2.67, quantaV10 and nano gapps; So I may have problems with Layers because of supersu, right? that's what I understand from FAQs.

That's not a ROM's fault. Go into Chrome Settings and change it.

Which FAQs? I guess you mean both mine & Bitsyko's. This advice was given mainly to the newer nexuses (these are the ones over-reporting problems with systemless and layers). I have used systemless in the past and I had no problems. Right now, I have installed it on system (so it survives dirty flashes). You can do it in SuperSU settings.
I am using the ROM till morning and so far really great. I have only one wierd problem. Hangouts app is starting too long (compared to Chroma for example). I mean, on Chroma its like 2 sec, on Krexus its like 4 sec. Any ideas? I am using Quanta kernel.

Well here I am once again with yet another rom . This time we have NOUGAT 7.0...It seems overall a better OS than previous ones from
the past, but thats for you to decide. Just for reminders to new folks, this is my first release, which means that I will add more features in
the future. I do take request....but no promises if I will actually build into the rom.....
Also keep in mind that will be the last update the S6 will ever get. This right here is THE last Twisted rom that I will ever build. After this
rom is complete I will be stepping back from developing.....Its time for new blood to come in here and take over.
FEATURES
Android 7.0
Power Menu
Knox Removed
Deodexed System
ADB Scripts (better,faster connection)
All Apks are Zipaligned
MiraCast Fix
Disabled Wake from USB
Loud Volume Warning is removed
3Minit Battery
3Minit Clock
Gradient Status Bar
Added Data Toggle
Edit Apn's
Twisted-Kernel V1
and more to add.......
FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this carefully. Failure to do so will result in you phone NOT booting up. You MUST
be on the Nougat 7.0 bootloader/modem, NO exceptions. My rom does NOT come with root, the kernel does. So, after you
flash the rom you must either flash SuperSU or Magisk BEFORE you reboot. My kernel has all the Saftey-Net commits to pass
for those of you that want Samsung Pay, etc.
Boot time can be from 10-15 minutes. So once you have rebooted from flashing just let it sit there and do its thing. Once the
rom boots up let it sit for another 5 so everything will finish up. You will notice that the notification bar seems to be hiding
WiFi and Data icons.....dont panic. That is Gradient. Once you get past the first screen they will appear.
I have also provided you with both of the latest SuperSU and Magisk zips. Download them when you download the rom
so you'll have them on your phone. Also, please to not flood my thread with Safety-Net issues. I have shown screen shots
in my other threads to prove that does indeed work.
My kernel is only V1. There is NO Synaspe support yet. Just use Kernel Auditor. Its what I use for now.

Nice to see ya back again Sick. I can't wait to try it out. I won't be able to flash until until tomorrow though. I will report back, not that I expect to have any problems since I've never had any at all with your work since the S4. Thanks again.
Congrats bro!
That is awesome to see you still working roms builds and sharing the hard work you've put in!
I would like to say oZoP N is coming soon, but I just haven't the interest or time anymore to spend 100's of hours building!
It's already been almost 5 months with my v20 and I have yet to release even an initial build...
With all the guides and knowledge you've shared to the xda community i believe it IS time for some new people to step in and carry this device forward!
Yes, this device is 3 yrs old and near dead, but by no means obsolete!
Thia thing is a powerful device and I could see development pushing for another 2 yrs if some new guys step in and carry it there!
Anyways, congrats and good luck with this, your final project!
You Sir. Are. The. Man.

Thanks for building this @TheSickness. Everything is running smoothly
I see one issue though not a major deal breaker.. Rom doesn't seem to remember Wi-Fi passwords. Have to enter it every time I want to connect to a known network. Is anyone else able to reproduce this?

Not sure of the fix is the same as in the past and unfortunately I can not test to confirm since I personally no longer have this device.
If its has it has been since LP roms, which is super easy to simply forget to edit during all the "real" modding of an initial release, which we know Sickness has been busy working since N dropped a few weeka ago!
Its a simple edit in build.prop and I've made it easy for you.
Just flash this. That should hopefully clear things up for the time being
If it doesn't work and you notice no change, then sorry, you'll have to wait for Sick to make the fix.
If for some strange reason it doesn't work amd you can't boot(which is a HUGE worst case), then simply flash this. It is a backup that was made during the first flash.
Good luck and please report back either way to confirm because again, I can't test to confirm myself and this could be something kernel related with N builds now?
Either way, anyone who wants to test the zips can test confidently knowing I have made failsafe zips to get you back if it fails!
I did test the zips to confirm they will make backup, edit and restore original build.prop!

@stangdriver , Thanks for your fix. I had no issues booting in with the fix flashed in. I'm however still having to enter the password again to connect to my home wifi on every boot up.
@TheSickness, I am seeing a slightly broader issue with Wifi and with Bluetooth. Thought I'd document here and see if you can take a look and confirm as well.
- Wifi takes a while (~60s) to enable the first time. It does enable.
- If you turn off Wifi, it won't turn back on.
- It goes to the "Turning On.." state and then times out after 60s then returning to "Wifi Off"
- When Wifi does turn on it doesn't remember passwords for known networks. @stangdriver44's fix was not able to resolve this
- Bluetooth does not turn on. It times out in 30s and returns to "Off"
Hope this helps. Once again thanks for this ROM and I totally appreciate the time and input @TheSickness and others in this s6 forum contribute for broader benefit. Cheers!

Congrats on the release of Twisted Nougat. Is the fix going to be a separate flashable zip file or you need to upload a new ROM with the fix?
Thanks

Probably a full upload....really depends on what time I get home from work. My upload speeds are pretty fast. But we'll see.

I'll hold off then, even though I'm itching to try your new ROM now.
Thanks, Sickness. I'm running your ROM on my 920W8. All is well (it's quite smooth and I think the performance is better than the other ported ROMs out there). I did note the issues reported in post #9 but see that you have a fix ready to upload. I'll wait until you post that up and flash it.
Thanks for all your work!
Here is the WiFi & BT fix........
Please let me know that it works.
Special thanks to @tdunham and @noxxious for the heads up on the
fix.

Thanks for the quick and easy fix. Confirming it works! :good:
I am noticing that TMo Wifi calling is stuck in "Enabling" mode. Can you advise how to fix that? (maybe a config tweak?)
Well shizzzz, I didnt know that was broken too lol. I'll have to look into that one.
Hello everyone, can soneone explain this to me***You MUST
be on the Nougat 7.0 bootloader/modem**** Does it mean i have to flash the nougat bootloader before flashing rom? If yes, can i have a download link to the nougat bootloader file? Thanks
