As this ROM is currently under development by SlimROMs Team, so development and merging of commits is going on a daily basis. There might be features missing from the ROM, but they'll be added gradually by SlimROMs team. So please don't ask - Why "this" feature is not there in SlimKat but was there in SlimBean?

Mute feature doesn't work in calls
Neither SlimKat nor any other AOSP based ROM has dual SIM functionality for now.
(Bugs reported by users will be updated here after they are confirmed. I may ask for a logcat to fix the bugs.)
NOTES
- If you are not able to connect to your network service provider and can't make calls etc, try flashing the modem through ODIN. Search the threads in Galaxy Grand forums and you'll find instructions there.

Shweeeettt ever since I moved from Slimbean 4.2.2 to CM11, I missed all the features it had... now there's SlimKat! Thanks a ton xenon92. :laugh:

@xenon92 can we expect HALO in this if not in slim as it wasn't on slimbean too then on carbon rom can we expect to have halo??? its one among the unique features of any custom rom had it on resurrection but dint wanted to try as i was satisfied wid slimbean so for now can we expect halo frm these two??? I evn saw pac 4.3 but stl under development im just a lil curious

I am a big fan of Halo too. I could, but I won't add Halo to SlimKat as this ROM should be as light as possible. Not everyone uses Halo anyways. So SlimKat will be without Halo. Carbon has Halo built in. I don't know if they've added it to the current kitkat source of carbon or not (as the lib linking issue hasn't been fixed yet for it to boot properly), but they will eventually.

This is the best rom I test .....
From very 1st unbeatable version to bookable version I tested every single build and this is the best rom I have tried in kitkat. ......
Mokee and this gave me best satisfaction in kitkat asop roms.....

Finally, AOKP team launched official Nightlies with changes.

Coming from Stock 4.2.2 with root.
Getting error: error executing update binary in zip when trying to flash rom. I realised i wiped my rom already and couldn't do anything so I try in CWRM and it says error in etc etc .zip status 7. Installation aborted?
1. ensure your AOKP rom file didn't corrupt (bad download my cause this)
2. use latest recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548257 or use latest philz touch)
I'm not seeing the 12/25 Christmas beta version. Anyone?

Inbuilt screen video recorder doesn't work
Only primary SIM slot works. There won't be any dual-SIM support from me. I have tried and I wasn't able to make it work successfully. If anyone else wants to contribute, ROM as well as patches are open source. Build with dual-SIM support and share with the community.

1 year after release of grand we have cm,aokp,pa,aosb,carbon,slim,pac,omni,stock,kernels........almost everything that s2 's and s3's got.....i am not mentioning p500 or hd2 those are beyond comparison

1st -its based on the stable build of slimkat i.e. 4
2nd panorama is fixed ...
the rest im not sure ..as i didnt get time to test it fully
but im trying to solve the graphical glitches
installed the rom today...the hardware button not working....Intially thought the ROM is not working and reflashed the ROM twice,then only realised buttons not working and went to settings from the notification drawer and enabled navigation bar to use the phone...:silly:
Unfortunately,the google account manager FCs all the time when i tried to connect to google account...Clean install with slimgapps installed from the link in OP...:crying:

Does not work on 4.1 stock ROM's bootloader, please upgrade to 4.2 before flashing
Additionally, Dual SIM has the following limitations:
Both SIMs are always enabled (no way to disable one SIM)
"Receive incoming call while data is enabled" is always enabled
3G may not work properly if Dual SIM mode is enabled with only 1 SIM inserted

PA Gapps that I have linked in the OP has link to lollipop gapps too. Read the first line of the PA Gapps thread.
Paranoid Android lollipop source is in its infancy. Features and fixes are slowly rolling into it. Once PA team starts releasing their builds, the source code will hopefully be more stable then.
I don't agree on that, PA's DSB is far more appealing and changes it in the real time, and also the transition is also lot smoother than the Lollipop, infact lollipop's is more or less app's inbuilt status bar color and not like picking up colors and in Lollipop's DSB there are many apps which just doesn't change so basically it's really an app specific and not the same coding used in the PA so there's lot difference between the both. If you can implement it, I would really appreciate it and I have been waiting also from Kiktat 4.4.4 PA for Galaxy Grand Duos but didn't happened. At least this time if you could do the needful It would be really awesome. BTW right now I am using Pawitp's CM Lollipop latest build. Thanks for the reply anyways. My best wishes.

The link that you posted on OP leads to the original thread of Gapps - he didn't changed the OP ever since he put the Gapps for 5.0 on hold. The previously used Gapps for 5.0 was at BasketBuild Link for Gapps compatible with CM12 and other AOSPs . After flashing the PA ROM with this Gapps - When the signin screen comes some kind of crush happens at background. Either way it gets a loop to the first step of the setup (i.e.,) Starts checking the wifi connectivity again - Checking for updates blah blah....

[*] I have tested the delta update personally on philz on the 07022015 build

Performance is liquid smooth.. Pervious build were very good in battery backup. New build I have downloaded only about 10 hrs now.. Its too early to comment, but overall I feel very good.
There are options u can chose to prioritize ur performance, battery or balance..
