From very 1st unbeatable version to bookable version I tested every single build and this is the best rom I have tried in kitkat. ......

Finally, AOKP team launched official Nightlies with changes.
I'll try my best to provide it to you guys as soon as possible.
Coming from Stock 4.2.2 with root.
Getting error: error executing update binary in zip when trying to flash rom. I realised i wiped my rom already and couldn't do anything so I try in CWRM and it says error in etc etc .zip status 7. Installation aborted?
1. ensure your AOKP rom file didn't corrupt (bad download my cause this)
2. use latest recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548257 or use latest philz touch)
I'm not seeing the 12/25 Christmas beta version. Anyone?

Rom has nothind to do with the SDS fix as we currently know. You must install a kernel with the fix and a recovery with the fix.
Is there a nfc fix for this Rom ?

The Rom comes with a Kernel, so it is valid question to ask. On the subject of Kernels, is the included Kernel optimised in anyway or is it simply the Kernel from CM?

yeah the rom comes with a built in kernel. if it doesnt come with it, i wouldnt have asked the question. so let us knw if the fix is implemented in the kernel which this rom has.
Isn't full linaro incompatible with exynos? I remember that's only possible to use the toolchain.

Lol absolutely incorrect. In fact linaro has a whole line of boarss they optimize named 'origenboard' that use the EXACT same smdk4412 chip used in ur i9300...meaning if anything the linaro optimizations will be felt to a GREATER extent on an exy phone than say...a qcom one...in theory.

I have found two issues until now.
1) Nfc does not work
2) When i enable flash in camera and try to take a picture it force closes.

Right... I was considering he whole exynos world, but only exynos 4210 is compatible, meaning that the i9100 is out. tought that since the i9100 is incompatible the i9300 is too.
Is there any way to disable the hardware-buttons (menu, home, back) if I only want to use the softscreen ones?

As this ROM is currently under development by SlimROMs Team, so development and merging of commits is going on a daily basis. There might be features missing from the ROM, but they'll be added gradually by SlimROMs team. So please don't ask - Why "this" feature is not there in SlimKat but was there in SlimBean?

Neither SlimKat nor any other AOSP based ROM has dual SIM functionality for now.

- If you are not able to connect to your network service provider and can't make calls etc, try flashing the modem through ODIN. Search the threads in Galaxy Grand forums and you'll find instructions there.

I can't do anything about features (for some features I could, but it would be time consuming and eventually they will be merged in the main ROM by the SlimROMs Team itself). I can only fix device specific issues. SlimKat ROM is still under development from SlimROMs team. They are slowly testing and adding features. This is how ROMs are developed!

I can't do anything about features (for some features I could, but it would be time consuming and eventually they will be merged in the main ROM by the SlimROMs Team itself). I am a big fan of Halo too. I could, but I won't add Halo to SlimKat as this ROM should be as light as possible. Not everyone uses Halo anyways. So SlimKat will be without Halo. Carbon has Halo built in. I don't know if they've added it to the current kitkat source of carbon or not (as the lib linking issue hasn't been fixed yet for it to boot properly), but they will eventually.

So there you have it, MK44.x! It has actually been up for quite some time, but I decided not to release it that early so that bugs are squashed and features are merged in...so what's new?
Remember the incremental updates in MK43.x? Well we have now implemented a OTA system! It is state of the art and one of its kind! No more hassles to download updates through PC or browsing through all those confusing file names!
We have also moved our changelog into a more organised page, it is here: http://changelog.mokeedev.com, so keeping up to date should be a breeze now!
In the future, we plan to have our own download page like http://download.cyanogenmod.org/, with high download speeds and download manager support! So if possible, donate to support MoKee OpenSource development!

Me too failed.
Skip that update and wait for the next one...some issues with that build anyway but regarding the file, delete it and download again if it happens again in the future...this is still a WIP, so server will undergo maintenance without notice...hope you guys understand...

i tried installing "MK44.2-i9100g-201312240035-NIGHTLY.zip" on my S II with the latest CWM V6.0.4.5.
I get this "(Status 7) Error. Installation aborted "
i tried in one of my friend's mobile too. This happens only when i try to install 4.4. Can anyone help ?

Inbuilt screen video recorder doesn't work
Only primary SIM slot works. There won't be any dual-SIM support from me. I have tried and I wasn't able to make it work successfully. If anyone else wants to contribute, ROM as well as patches are open source. Build with dual-SIM support and share with the community.
(Bugs reported by users will be updated here after they are confirmed. I may ask for a logcat to fix the bugs.)
NOTES
- If you are not able to connect to your service network provider and can't make calls etc, try flashing the modem through ODIN. Search the threads in Galaxy Grand forums and you'll find instructions there.

EDIT: Confirmed...Samsung sold P3110 and P3100 without IR Blaster included in Eurepean market while US has it...so if you have a US one and IR Blaster included, there is a workaround. If not...blame Samsung

With a root explorer (with full root access)
Navigate to /system
Open Build.prop file and replace ro.crdroid.device=p3110 by 3113 (in fact replace all 3110 you find by 3113). Then save and reboot, then try with an app like Peel Smart Remote

One question mate, have you tried the build on your 3110? Cause i'm building 3100 at the moment and everything is exactly the same. Anyway, when finished i'll provide you the link but i 50% convinced builds are compatible with both versions.

I'm not a developer) I've never done builds. I just wrote you that you do, and I tested because I have P3100. And as the P3100 and P3110 are identical, but P3100 has a telephone part, it is possible to call.
P.S. Sorry if I misunderstood you.
As for the build - today I will test it and accomplish your goal! :laugh:
