I am still uploading the build, but it should be as functional as CM and Omni.
I used our latest P880-dev sources to compile, and also committed all to gerrit for being merged into the official nightlies.
You can find the build in the devDB download section as soon as it is uploaded.

It's using our proper (p880-dev) sources, and not the ones from a "dev team" cherry-picking some of our commits, but not all, which actually isn't the best idea to do
But I have submitted all my changes to the official vanir gerrit, and I suppose it should be merged in the official nightlies soon

sorrry for asking but why doesnt 'okay google' work? i Tried like 3 KitKat soms but they all dont seem to work sorry for asking

I'm using the grouper blobs, which means the cam is still buggy

hmm maybe its time to give vanir a shot on my o4x.. i like this grouper blobs very much dont know why btw i think Adam will find how to get 2 sets of blobs working with camera together soon i very like idea of futureproof sources

Installed the official one, meaning through updates. Seems to be fine, camera bug is there but faster than everbefore! Any suggestions about cpu tweaks for battery? Like governors etc?
Sent from my Optimus 4X HD

Also installed this great ROM. This for me is the best Kit Kat ROM for the 4XHD.
I have found the following bugs:
Lag in Notification bar (its annoying)
Focus error in the camera one
Need to press power twice wake up the phone
Occasional freezes
Still is way better than any of the roms out there and hope to see bugs ironed out so this becomes the best ROM for the 4XHD.
Thanks laufersteppenwolf for your excelent work!!! Donation on the way!!!

I can live with the double push to the power button. But the distorted letters and icons in the top notificaction bar are plain annoying, they affect the normal use of the phone.

Waiting for the new features, for the moment less than before but great work.

My notification bar is quite working good. No bug.

this rom is my personal favourite and also a daily driver, but there is just one thing that bothers me, launchers fps is just low.
i think this is rather a problem coming from launcher than the rom itself. i'd really like to see it transition smoother.
i also cant seem to find option to scale animations, like we had on 4.3.

BUG REPORTING?
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features:
Odexed for faster performance (only in official releases, nightlies are deodexed)
Incremental updates
OTA updates - update on the fly!
Native exFAT support (Samsung devices only)

Calendar - with lunar and solar calenders
Lunar calendar in lock screen
Task switching sidebar in recent apps (the list will increase if you install supported apps)
Bulk SMS recipients
Adjustable SMS font size
SMS sending delay
Smart dialing
Speed dialing
IP dialing
Custom carrier name
Network speed in status bar (upload and download!)
Built in timer in Apollo - determine when to stop playing music
MoKee Setup Wizard
Active Display
Adjustable navigation bar height
Unique Power Saver functions!
Custom screen off animations
Customizable recent apps shorcuts
Lockscreen notifications
Working CM11 theme engine
Many more! Since we are constantly adding new features, see changelogs to keep updated!

Then you mean you are trying to make money off something we did for free?
The performance between Vanir and this Rom is big, Vanir is much faster than this Rom but I like this Rom too and I've got problems while playing games, it lags as hell and 1,7 GHz never worked for me (1,6 GHz works).
Edit: But it has a good battery life, thanks for this Rom!

Going to flash later today. Is there any kernel to flash on top of Rom, or just flash the Rom and good to go? I will be coming from Zaiben rom 4.1.2 if it makes a difference.
Which Kernels work with this rom so we can test and report performance? @iodak 9.5 ? any others?

All the kernels with AnyKernel support work. I prefer Iodak v9.5 at the moment, but maybe you should give stock kernel a try first.
i just tried this rom, it very good, love the multi window feature, only thing that could be a little bit better is performance

I have used the latest device sources from cm if they have merged that fix then I think it should have it I haven't tested it though!

DL now and report later I will combine it with the Moretz Kernel
call issue
I dont think the call issue was fixed in latest build but ahould be in the next 1 from what I have seen so will you be updating it when it is done
Just gave it a run, still exists it's really frustrating, am loving all the KK roms around here but i need my note 8's calling feature too still stuck with damned stock.
Tested it for a hour, rom runs great also with Moretz kernel
The system settings - specially the AOKP ones - are..... kind of special....
But my personal opinion: It´s not so round for me - I think it´s a AOKP thing, the AOKP-settings are not deep implemented.
Thanks a lot tejkkarani for porting this rom Great work

great !! is stable ?
thanks
but long press home button action does not work for me !
i've set recent app on double press home button ...
I was looking back at my all time favorites and thought i would re-flash AOKP again and man i missed this rom. It still runs great and has the tons of customizations that i love so much.
I was wondering if you have any plans on updating this rom? About the only thing I can see that I would update would be the theme chooser.
I know I'm not supposed to ask for updates or ETA's and I hope that is not how you take this, I'm just curious of you have any further plans for AOKP.
Thank you again for this build.

Yeaaaah!! Thanks a bunch!
What do u mean by unofficial? It isnt your rom "unofficial" or is it because its unstable "unofficial" or simply because the base is from cm?
Thanks and sorry for the noob question guys... I just always wondered what an "UN"official rom is doing in an "Original development section"
But none the less thank u so much for the rom bout to flash it Now!!!! Any bugs i should know about?

I think it means someone just took the carbon sources and built it. But the device isn't supported and maintained by the carbon team :S
So you wouldn't find Galaxy S5 roms on the carbonrom website.
Ooo.. Gotchaa but i can flash this on my tmobile s5 tho right?

After you said that I tried, no vibration at all currently
Camera not included in ROM. Added Google Camera from Play Store and it can't connect to the camera.
So Happy right now I will test on the W8 tonight
Guys guys this is a beta build, not a stable build. So things are bound not to work. Wait for a few days mate.

Just reporting the bugs, not asking for a fix. We understand things are bound not to work, just pointing it out for others who want to know what's not working.

So far other than the camera and vibration bug everything seems super smooth and fluid. Very nice for a Beta

Mine isnt smooth, it lags so bad... Is Is It because i used twrp ? I wiped everything, flashed with the provided slim apps, without it, then after... And nothing it starts lagging right into the boot screen then when i hit next...it stays stuck on welcome... ?
Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks in advance!!
