Can't turn on or charge after upgrade firmware - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, my phone was lagging so I've tried to upgrade firmware. However, it won't turn on after status "rebooting". When I plug in the charger, it won't charge too. Help me. What can I do.

What version of I9070 you have?
If you have I9070, and you upgrated with I9070P firmware or if you have I9070P and you updated with I9070 - you hardbricked phone.
Can you go to recovery mode? If you can, do factory reset (in case you did not replace versions of firmware, and phone is not hardbricked).

Can u specify what model, rom, android version?

I can't go to recovery mod. My model is I9070, stock ROM and ginggerbread( I don't really remember the version). Well, I think I flashed the wrong firmware and brick it. It won't turn on and even I plugged in the charger it won't charge. I've read some forums that we can recover using USB JIG but I don't know a damn thing about it.

I am not sure what u did. U can flash back to original rom by using odin. Try seach the forum for odin and flash back ur rom. There is a guide there. - if u mean hospital is the warranty center i think u just broke ur warranty.

I am affraid that he can't do that... If you flash firmware of P phone on NON P - you hardbrick phone...
He can't use Odin, because he can't go to download mode.

Yup been thinking if he cant go to download mode or recovery mode is quite troublesome.....
Just curiosity, how did u flash ur firmware? Step by step? Where did u find the source to flash ur phone?

are you 100% sure you own a P1000 and not a P1000N or P1000L ?
was the Odin flash 100% successful
The symptom is exactly like a N/L version flashed with a P1000 firmware.
Edit: when you say flash light, it is the capacitive buttons or really the LED flash light near the rear camera?

Not sure how to check, the back of the device didn't say so? You need to find the right firmware, it is available on sammobiles website.

nothing displayed on the backside of device , so, how can i know? then , what should i do?
yea.. desktop charger .. like this
The original is rated 2A.
Maybe you should charge your longer, 8hr or more, then try Odin again.
BTW, if L/N device flashed with P1000 you can still use its recovery.
So if Odin can detect, reflash the GB stock safe, make sure it is completed.
Then flash overcome kernel,
Then use its cwm recovery to flash cm for p1n.
You sure back bottom no marking?
Mine is T849 and it says so there.

You said your note came from repair and it was on download mode. I think it was NOT REPAIRED AT ALL. Country or region has nothing to do with manual flashing. You only need region when using kies to update.

So I have a question. I had tried rooting my device and it failed into a soft brick. Previously I had jzo54k on there. Using Odin I installed the Poland software but it seemed to have failed because now I am not able to register on a network. I have an international version of the Note 2 that I am using in the US. Since I am not able to connect to a network I am lost as to what to try. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Hi
My stock JB official unrooted rom suddenly went to a bootloop. I looked up online for solutions and flashed an official JB ROM for my phone and Odin failed to flash it. I tried Philz recovery but Odin failed to flash it. I got a yellow triangle which I was able to removie through Odin. Currently my phone is stuck on the splash screen. Recovery doesn't work. Odin fails when I try to reflash with a md5.tar file. Please experts help me with my problem. would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Torch screen no respond after upgraded to I9305XXBMB2

Need help! I used cf auto root for rooting on 4.1.1 JB was successful. Later I used mobile odin to upgrade to I9305XXBMB2 which was a Singapore ROM. Flashing was completed but with back screen. So I used pc odin flashed I9305XXBMB2 with success. but my torch screen was no responding upon reboot. Even I tried factory reset still with the same reslult. I can't send it to the Samsung Service center due to flash counter = 1. Downgraded to ma6 also with same results.
I can goto download and recovery mode. Please advice!
Edit:
In download mode:
Custom binary download : yes (1 counts)
Current binary :Samsung official

Try Emergency Firmware restore on Kies. If that is not successful then I guess you could flash CWM (non touch edition) and then try find a way to reset your flash counter in recovery or download mode then warranty it. If not then you will have to pay up, $210 here in Aus to get screen/digitalizer/frame repaired (built together) at a Samsung place & that also renews your warrenty

since your phone is running stock ROM&kernel you can try USB jig, that's the Only thing left to try to get back your warranty. In my case jig won't reset counter but I'm using Custom ROM .... Can't remember how was it on stock. TA works for sure but must be installed first, you can't use your screen so jig is your last chance. ..

Try this rom, you need to do it from a PC, set in download mode then use Odin to flash the rom.
This will then put it back to stock with no increase in the binary count.

Guys do you really think Samsung cares? I mean I had an Asus Transformer Prime with an unlocked boot loader. When unlocking it clearly stated the warranty is voided. A few months later my battery died and I sent it in as it was and they fixed it. I even told them it was unlocked and they fixed it.
I then heard and read somewhere that the warranty is lost to software related issues not hardware.
But oh well he reset it already. I only reset to get stock stock updates because I get bored sometimes!!

u need to do jig?da fone really dead? i never heard such case rooting makes ur fone totally dead, i think u can do download mode by 3 combo button (home + voldown+power).if really juz root u do before its totally dead then there must be hardware faulty.
n there is UNBRICKABLE MOD for i9000, but slightly difficult to do.

Unplug your gear, reboot your computer, plug in the usb into a different usb if possible, (Dont use a usb hub) open odin, then plugin your gear
