[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][4.4.2]NamelessROM [NIGHTLIES][D800][D801][D802][D803][LS980][VS980] - G2 Original Android Development

What is NamelessROM?
What is NamelessROM ?

Simple - NamelessROM is opportunity.
An opportunity to have a voice to the development team of the after-market firmware that you run on your device.
The main goal of NamelessROM is to provide quality development for android devices, phones and tablets alike.
NamelessROM developers are available nearly 24/7 and respond to bug reports and feature requests almost instantly.
This availability will allow you, the end-user, to have direct input into exactly what features and functions are included on the firmware that YOU run.
NamelessROM maintains features and functions of several well-known open-source, AOSP-based ROMs, as well as many features of our own. See the screenshots in the 3rd post, and visit our website for more detailed information.
NamelessROM = endless possibilities. Unless you have an iPhone, then you're out of luck.

CWM seems to take EXTREMELY long to wipe /cache and /system, but not TWRP :good:

yea they are ready, our jenkins is building the nightlies right now for galaxy s4 and nexus 5 and optimus black,
if i start more builds now, it will exponentially increase build times for all builds, so i'm going to let nightlies finish, and then i'll queue up the g2 variants and they'll be ready and uploaded to our sourceforge here -> https://sourceforge.net/projects/namelessrom/files/?source=navbar

Ha, good timing, i was just about to ask you last night if i can port and post this here

[ROM][AOSP] Lithium NG (next generation) v0.0.5 *Official Thread*

I would like to make this the official Lithium NG thread as I'm on the dev team. I will be handling the xda thread. Follow me @luniz7 and I will RT this thread when it is updated. Do NOT contact me on twitter for issues with Lithium NG, use @LithiumMod instead.
What is Lithium Mod?
Lithium Mod was originally derived from the ROM Kangerade made by JRummy16.
What is Lithium NG?
Lithium NG (Next Generation) is a new ROM developed from AOSP source. We have borrowed bits and pieces from other respected developers (mainly cvpcs and cyanogenmod) but always make sure to give credit where credit is due. The end result is a stable, blazing fast AOSP ROM with a sleek look and minimal bloat.
Whats different from other Vanilla ROMs?
Focus on reducing footprint (minimal bloat), and sleek stock themes (at least we think so )
What features are included in Lithium NG?
Currently, we have a LithiumMod Options app. Inside the app are the following options: Bash Environment, Block Ads, Dock Desk, Dock Car.
Under the tweaks section is the ability to change the LCD Density and Disable or Re-enable JIT.
A lot of the members of Lithium Mod are themers so there will be a lot of available themes in due time.
Team Lithium Mod consists of JRummy16, ronx, jdlfg, CaptJager, userdelroot, and myself-luniz7.
On to the good stuff.
Get Lithium NG v0.0.5 on ROM Manager in the Free Section under Lithium Mod. The default theme has had an overhaul (blue-ish), and an optional (red-ish) theme is available as an option when installing via ROM Manager.
Or if you dont have ROM Manager get Lithium NG v0.0.5 HERE
Add-ons (if you don't use RM):
Google Apps
Red Theme
*Known Issues* - coming soon

ChangeLog - Lithium NG (Next Generation)

* Major improvements in default theme (also now available in 2 colors)!
0.0.4
* Black status bar
* Changed clock/date/ticker color to white
* Added name and logo to bottom of notification pulldown

Been using this Rom since it came out(like my every day Rom). This Rom is one of the best ASOP Rom I have run on My Incredible. Very stable and super fast, and one of the best life span for my Battery. Keep up the good work been using Lithium Roms since day 1. The only thing that bugs me is like any other ASOP Rom, you can't attach a ring tone to a text that you download from your SD card. The only option you get is one from the stock ring tones. Any solutions or programs out their for this problem. It is a pain in the butt to switch Roms just to send a text with a ring tone.

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM10.1 builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

That´s kind specific, cause this is not a Nexus7 with a higher user comminity or so
Let me try to explain - I think most users of this device are satisfied with the original samsung stuff - those are happy with touchwizz, pencilstuff, "creating" also are happy with their latte macchiatos, you know, all the stuff...
and then there were some - maybe an handful people (don´t know your download statistics) - they think another way - to have a small powerful system without samsung crap....
My decision for this device was the incredible hardware, not the samsung specific software on it... running AOSP since beginning and I must say that your build is the best I´ve ever tested....
I hope you keep up development on this high level
my 5 cent

So far, the Rom has run really smoothly. Battery life has been great, and all my usually used apps work very well. The only thing I've noticed is that in esfile explorer it shows 2 external sd cards. I've noticed that in many kk roms of late though, so not a big deal. Thanks for the work though. Loved beanstalk on my n2 so, I'm very happy to see it here.

[VOLUNTEERS NEEDED] Custom ROM Comparison Database for Lollipop

The old ROM comparison chart is outdated and the structure is a bit messy, so I want to make a new one, exclusively for lollipop ROMs.
Lollipop Custom ROM Comparison Database
My info collection method:
1) Rom name + version number + XDA Link
2) Rom Logo
3) I start by visiting every stock menu entry (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Display) in settings app and write out the options that were added to stock lollipop.
4) Then, I write out added menu entries (themes, performance profiles).
5) Upload screenshots on imgur as a vertical album. (Or better: screenrecord extra menus and upload on youtube)
6) Insert imgur/youtube link at the end of the column.
7) Add rows if necessary.
To avoid trolling I made the document read-only. Download the original one edit it and attach it below.

Good attempt, hope this will grow slowly but steady.
We already have had a ROM comparison, but not related to Nexus 5, was more kind of general.
The guys moved to an Excel Online spread sheet now. But also, only general, not Nexus 5 related.
If you join them or if you do your own thing, I wish you all the best. But if you come up with a bigger comparison, let's say with 5 or more ROMs compared, drop a PM or post it in my Nexus 5 index thread and I will include it.
Added Cataclysm ROM and RastaPop
Added Dirty Unicorns 9.1

I get it opened up and it has light green and a light red with u's with dots on top.
What do they mean?
Green is ok, good working? Red is bad, not working?
Maybe some simple Y's and N's...
IDK
Thank you for the time to make the chart.
I'm about to upgrade to v5 Lolipop and Found it interesting, helpful.

I use Wingdings font, basically green is a checkmark and red is X

Hi, I'm one of the members of the team that started this and I can only thank you for mentioning it.
As you've said, we recently moved to Office 365 which allows us to expand and host a whole new range of features; it would be wonderful if you (OP) could check it out and maybe we could 'join forces'
Thanks

I really appreciate the work of your team, as I, myself have used your comparison database several times in the past, but as android was updated to lollipop and developers started rebuilding their roms, most of information in the database became inaccurate (at least for Nexus 5). For example Xposed is barely working, paranoid is just vanilla with theme engine (for now), dirty unicorns doesn't have pie, pac-rom is still stuck at kitkat and so on. That's why I had the idea to start fresh.
Also I wanted the feature list to be better organized and more intuitive.
As your database needs a serious renewal, I suggest we refine my feature list and than add roms step-by-step.
Update
Added Cyanogenmod 12 in Comparison Will add PA Alpha 1 and Slim LP soon

Very good,
I tried PA but v5.0 only has theme engine added , nothing more. They are still in early alpha, so let's wait.
add* Screw'd Android -

I can do for purity rom. As it is 1:23 am in India i will do it in the morning
Interesting project, I'll keep an eye on it.
Just wanted to report there are some inconsistencies with the Euphoria entry: it DOES have customizable quick tiles, long-press recents for last app, menu on both sides, 3+ tiles per row (3 or 4 to be precise).
Unfortunately I don't have time to mainatin the entry myself since I don't flash regularly so I'm usually not up to speed with the features.
Anyway, excellent work, bookmarked!

Awesome idea! I was looking for a comparison list of Lollipop ROMs. Can you add BlissPop too?

Just added BoostPop 2.8!

[Half Theme] BlueShade [Layers / Overlay / RRO]

This theme is for use with ROMs that expose the RRO (layers) code. If you don't know what that means, this theme probably isn't for you.

Recommended: no less than 720p resolution
Hi All,
Introducing BlueShade.
Please note, I have also included my White Notification Text layers for Gmail and Inbox. No theming to the app, but just ensures white notification text on dark backgrounds.

I believe Cataclysm is an RRO ROM.
Please not though, all 5.1 ROMs are incomplete compared to 5.0.x because they don't yet have the ambient display invert commits added, so expect some problems on 5.1

Oh, don't worry. It'll be asked. At which point we'll refer to the OP. At which point it'll be asked again three posts later. Rinse & repeat.
/me bookmarks this theme for when I get around to installing a ROM with RRO. :good:
Something very odd is happening with my links. I'm getting an unusually high amount of traffic. Bots?
Can I use this on Stock whith root?

No, you need an RRO compatible rom. Usually AOSP.

Thanks! Got alot to learn but should have a replica build by Monday, then I'll spend my time learning and waiting for a new source code with a Sammy update or if I change something I personally like more.
You should ask Stang, he fixed the Lockscreen issue so you shouldn't have to run into it anymore if he tells ya how!!

Looking good bro. Putting things together like a seasoned pro! Congrats on the release!
For the users in the community, you have been blessed with a new developer in this community of so few devs so I suggest showing appreciation and being active in ROM development conversations!
The man asked for some feedback and it looks like close to 20 people have installed the ROM.
Not asking much or anything in particular, just some feedback on how install went or how things are running. I'm sure he is open for suggestions or possibly requests?
This ROM is brand new with a clean slate for crafting into something "YOU" want!
So let's keep this place alive and give you another solid ROM option.
I mean really there are only a few active ROMs and that number will only shrink with time.
It really doesn't take much to keep a dev motivated, but the same goes for making a device lose motivation with no interest.
This guy is hot, pumped to be building and I know with a little interest this ROM could be the go to ROM for users looking for an improvement over stock!
