[ROM][4.3][CWM] JustArchi's Sammy Stock (Deodex/Root/Zipalign/Busybox/Init)

My deodexed releases aim to be as-pure-stock-as-possible, just with a magic touch of being ready for all community modifications, such as theming, debloating, customizing and so on.
You should consider them as an alternative to official pure stock. Especially because they're CWM-compatible, which means that you don't need Odin in order to be up-to-date. If you're looking for a deodexed pure stock ready for theming and modding, you're in the right place.
Notice to all developers: Feel free to use my deodexed release as a "base" for your ROM. I'm doing the same with ArchiDroid.

Standard CSC has been included.
This release has been possible thanks to ArchiKitchen. Init.d is indepdendent, kernel bundled with ROM isn't modified in any way.
Nothing else has been made/changed. No apps removed. No KNOX. This is one-time release. You can use Rom Cleaner for fast debloat. This is the "base" for upcoming ArchiDroid 1.7.19.
Modem comes in standalone package, rom itself does not change your modem by default.

Hey im from the uk does csc effect HD voice? Is it ok to have the default csc that comes with the rom thanks

if I flash this ROM and when ArchiDroid 1.7.19 comes out,I dirty flash it over it,will it be OK,or I will have problems?

Yes, ArchiDroid is far more than the base.

what is the bootloader version included in stock XXUGNG3? can anyone post it?
Edit: Nevermind, I found a way//Learnt a way to extract bootloader from stock firmware and make odin flashable file, if anyone wants new XXUGNG3 bootloader i will post it here...

NG3 changelist is lower than NG1

Has anyone flashed this ROM .... coz i think this ROM is way too slow when compared to ND5 ....
currently i am running Archiport Beta 1 and it is blazing fast as compared to this ROM ...
can someone confirm this??

Because NG1 is UBU and NG3 XX, and UBU releases have different changelogs than XX releases.

I'm interested on the new bootloader (currently I'm on I9300XXEMG4 a bit old bootloader ) can you post it and also the method to flash it.
I assume you can flash the bootloader independently without any problem on the other parts of the ROM

I tried to create the firmware package myself, for the first time, using ArchiKitchen, and it was easier than I expected. I flashed the new firmware and it works! For anyone interested, the download link is here: https://mega.co.nz/#!z9lTGSLb!duzJLmaUL7xGsDXuSm9Qc2GP8geJMoCZIDl05UGTwgs .
Beware that the firmware is heavily debloated using Archi's debloat list (not ROMCleaner) to around 480 MB. It's also deodexed and zipalligned, includes the latest modem and busybox, and root. Does not have init.d activated, as I don't use it. I used the VD2 region (Vodafone Germany).
I'm not responsible it it doesn't work for someone else!

Have you removed that whole Vodafone CSC Stuff??

I didn't do anything special for CSC removal, but I have it as 'unknown' and I don't have Vodafone apps installed.

[ROM][aroma][i9300] n00t Multi csc Project - stock 4.4.4

this is a Project I've been working on and want to share it
I hope it works as well for you as it does for me.
This is Arter's Back to n00t Rom merged with alexndr's Multi CSC aroma scripts
along with some fixes that have been shared in back to noot thread
For anyone that don't know what Back to noot is, its a Stock Samsung Rom based on Kitkat 4.4.4
I haven't done a lot here just merged the 2 projects using alexndr's dev base
so it at be a little rough as of now, mostly the odd typo here and there,
the csc packages are form a 4.3 stock rom, I was a little concerned about this
but I find it works, and that's all I wanted. so it don't appear to be a problem as far as I know.

Back to n00t v6 with Aroma setup, this is a work in progress and I hope to maintain and fix issues and add more options
having the correct CSC Package for your Region does help in various ways, look it up, for me it gave back call forwarding and call barring options, that were missing before.

the aroma setup allows you to select between the following items so far.
- Base back to noot rom (currently v6)
- wipe cache/dalvik
- debloat csc preload apps (there's only 1 or 2 anyway)
- options for init.d and Rooted (SuperSU 2.40 app + binary), BusyBox 1.22.1
- Multi CSC - 22 Europe available - select one you need
or keep current csc, (but if coming from back to not rom this will keep the Korean csc that came with it)
- also some extra csc options
- telephony fixes, all these are currently packaged together
these are Non korean dialer, System UI.apk, mms_blue.apk and other relevant files, 3G, H and H+ icons etc..etc..
also if any fixes are selected it will wipe cache/dalvik for you

so how to install this you ask?
it is wise to do a full nandroid backup, and EFS partition backup, you should do this, trust me, look into it.
and move important items from your internal sd to external sd just in case.
- Download the Rom from below to your SD Card
- fire up your CWM or TWRP Recovery, and you should do a wipe data/factory reset
- select install zip from sd card, and aroma should run and install
Aroma options are.

ROM Base - this is back to n00t rom and should be selected
Safe De Bloat - this will remove preload apps , Chaton, google vids, gmail, just stuff that you can get from playstore
wipe Data - wipes Cache / Dalvik - I do it manually myself

Csc Feature Mod - Enable some hidden CSC Features
Phone Fix Package - collection of fixes for phone features, these are from n00t users and are recommended

Battery consumption is same as back to noot
Which is not bad. I would say medium level
And screen shots can be put up later too
im pretty sure the sms / mms works ok too, delivery reports work for me , and im sure the 160 character is ok to
question: anyone using back to noot rom, do you have trouble with bluetooth, is it, the calls or music audio that was the problem
the bluetooth calls work for me on this, but haven't tried music audio.

Boeffla kernel 7.2 is very stable on this ROM. I do recommend that kernel on this ROM.
So install it if you want. I use it myself
If lord boeffla gives the go ahead to add it in to aroma option, I may do that.

I was searching for the stock bootloader of the I9300XXUGPE1 firmware & that's how I found your thread. Are the bootloader & modem included in your ROM?
Could you tell me the bootloader's version & the Samsung S-Boot date? If you look in root/proc/last_kmsg for example you can see something like this which is my current bootloader on S3 i9300. Edit: I flashed that bootloader and this is the result:

Its highly modified and I don't know which country is it lol
its based on Spain (Orange), but due highly modified and yeah most part of csc has changed
And about bootloader I currently used the I9300XXUGPE1 and I9300XXUGMK6 modem

Turn off phone & turn back on in download mode (volume down + home button + power button combo).
Unzip the file & flash sboot.tar.md5 using Odin (click on BL & select file). Reboot to system without doing anything else.

Does this Rom include last security patches for Android? If no, I suggest you to build them in they are very important, also I'm interested in the kitkat version

If I am not wrong there is no way to merge security updates to 4.3 builds.It is so old and this rom was lagged a lot when I tried.

Warning
Im not responsible for your data. Dont blame me if u lose it!
The prerequisite for flashing my Rom is Full wipe.
If u Dirty flash . Its on you!
Installation Instructions:
Option 1
- Format data
-Advanced Wipe - Wipe everything except efs, extsd
-Flash my Rom (Choose Aroma stuff carefully. Its different from other Roms- Those Debloat options are to remove. Not Install!)
-Reboot
-Setup the 1st Boot stuff.
-Reboot to TWRP
-Flash CSC
-Reboot.
-Done
Now encryption in your phone is removed!
Option 2: A select few users cant boot the Rom
Since Encryption removal script is causing bootloop in your phone. We will skip it for now
Steps:
- Format data
-Advanced Wipe - Wipe everything except efs, extsd
-Flash my Rom (Choose Aroma stuff carefully. Its different from other Roms- Those Debloat options are to remove. Not Install!)
-Choose No root Option
-Reboot
-Setup the 1st Boot stuff.

Corrupted Zip File
I used heavy compression on the Rom to reduce its size.
So while Copy pasting some error may have occurred in your Phone or PC
I will use light compression from next time to prevent this issue!

works on all Exynos S7 Edge. Dont Flash Modem and bootloader if your Model is something other that F/FD

It has Exynos chip correct? I think It will work on Korean Varient. Since I havent tested I cant say for sure. Just Dont flash Bootloader or Modem.

Doing RC is quite troublesome. I Cannot make RC without 3 to 4 RC devs.
Making RC is not a problem. But everytime a new base comes out I or RC Devs have to redo all the mods, Which is a problem.
Its like a small company cant do bigger things without backup lol

-Modded - Installs Modded TW launcher
-Stock - Doesnt change anything. Keeps stock TW Launcher

This rom for international s7e only , korean variant has different cpu so it wont work at all , i guess its snapdragon not exynos

I havent tried downgrading modem as it doesnt create any issues.
If you have doubts u can just skip modem installation. Oreos roms works perfectly with nougat Bootloader and modems for now.
If u are never gonna use odin and always use custom roms then you can upgrade modem now. U will not face any issues in future.
If u plan on using odin. U better wait for someone else to confirm this.
I will upload a flashable modem zip for you in case u want to flash modem in future and choose to skip it in Aroma.

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Make sure that the buildnumber of this rom is the same as on your phone now, otherwise download the correct firmware and vendor flashable zips by SoLdieR9312 from his xda thread.
2. Make sure that you have TWRP installed, and boot into TWRP.
3. If your data partition is encrypted, then FORMAT data, if its not encrypted, and you come from a different rom, then you only need to wipe data.
If you come from a previous version of this rom, then you dont need to do anything.
4. If needed, flash the firmware and vendor zip files, if not needed, then continue with the next step.
5. Flash the rom zip, when its done you can boot into the system and enjoy!

Thanks for this however is there anyway to remove this Mein A1 app? I have no idea what it is as it's all in German. It's no able to be uninstalled even in titanium back up as it says no .akp file found

I have this rom installed on my own S9 too, and I have never seen the app, so I guess that it is included in the CSC.
Could you send a screenshot of the app info of the app? So then I can search for it in the rom zip and tell you how you can delete it .

It seems that that has to do with the CSC that it applies (OXM is multi CSC and when booting it chooses one of the CSC's inside, which is PHN in my case) and the CSC that your phone chose to use apparantly has that A1 app in it.
If you can tell me what CSC you have, I can check if there is a way to get rid of that A1 app.
Otherwise, you could always disable the app with an app like QuickDis which you can get from the Play Store.

what about battery drain? I saw that magisk can cause high battery drain. As it`s not completely compatible with our s9 plus

I saw people complaining about that indeed, but I didnt have any issues (on my S9 I get about 16h standby and 7-7.5h sot with 1.5-2h of gaming).

That is not possible, as your device selects a CSC based on your SIM card and possibly some other things.
You can check with the Phone Info app from the Play Store on what CSC your phone currently uses, then tell me what it says, so I can look into it and possibly fix the issue.

As you can see on the first screenshot, it says that the CSC version is OXM, but on the second screenshot it says that it is using PHN.

Thanks Arnhem much appreciated for your help its been driving me crazy for the past 2 days. Im just installing the ryan stock rom now again, i tried loads of different roms to see if it would get rid of the app but no luck. And Kies is useless it doesn't even recognize my phone just says connecting all the time. I was going to just reflash to stock and start again to see if that would help.

You're welcome Manchester, if it is done with flashing and you tell me the current CSC that it uses, I can try to get rid of all carrier bloatware on all CSC's, which would get rid of the A1 app in your case.
