Cool. Im sure many took the $5 a month data plan abd has no use for this. I thought i would put it out there for the ones that want the option.

How do I turn it on? I don't see any setting. Note: I just installed Goodness deodexed rom. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes pre-update. The OTA updated the aboot with a knox bootloader and when i tried flashing back to the pre OTA firmware it screwed up my tab. So if i can get those partitions i hope to do some magic...lol

bump...

Got me the $5 a month plan so i wouldnt be needing this lol. I'm using the hotspot straight from my phone to connect my T217. You happen to have someone sort of a hack i can by pass the 1gb limit in date without connecting thorugh wifi? lol Long shot but who knows! ^_^

Yes it will. However you can do this withou flashing the whole package if you just want the recovery.
Easiest way: use root explorer or other method to rename the recovery_boot.p back to this name. It will then restore stock recovery on next boot.

The are some .so files I think we'll be needed also I found a flashable "wallet fix" zip for at s3 so if its .so files need to be replaced ours likely do also.
And you might want dlto deoxed the liberarys I tried adding odexed NFC extra jar to my RAZR HD and it soft bricked but deodexed worked fine. Just a warning, in my case a lot of things could have caused that.

Anyone have the files?
Sent from my SM-N900P using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
If you have mj4 I don't believe a downgrade is possible
Though you can downgrade from mi5 no problem.
The stock mi3 file is still up at the Samsung update website. I don't remember the link at the moment.

Yup I knew that was previously the case, and was pretty sure there was no workaround.
I hate when they do cap like that to the bootloader.
I'm going to take that as confirmation, as I knew back when mj4 first came out and I was maintain a Knox safe root thread. There were a few issues of people tripping Knox Even on a complete stock uprooted phone attempting to downgrade to run the Vega files.
Just hadn't looked into it since then wasn't sure someone hadn't worked around it.
Though why you would want to go back to mi3 is another question.

Yup, there are a few stock mj4 options (with or without root)
Check the development section.
I personally usually use Odin to flash the full official Samsung mj4 tar.

Just to go Security>Permission control > disable root permission
If you are using any third party root permission managers like SuperSu
Just uninstalling them would work.

It's because AFAIK it's not pure MJ5 but it's modified. We never had MJ5 build on Kies or Sammobile.
