Xperia E1
Hey Guys. This section from my understanding was made for the more lower end devices at much cheaper prices with still capabilities of mid-range/high end performances. Well, what about the upcoming Xperia E1?
It should be in here because:
1) It is the follow on from the current Xperia E in this section.
2) It is affordable and mid-range, like the devices in this sections.
3)Specs are decent (Dual Core 1.2 Ghz, Android 4.3, only 512MB of RAM) and so can be improved (RAM Swapfiles/Increasers, CM11 or Android 4.4.2, Maxed CPU with Greenify).
What do you think? And to top it off - Over than the Swapper for Root making Swapfiles, does anyone know how to actually increase the RAM of the Xperia E (Virtual or Internally?). I have 409MB Max Ram and I want to add 512MB more from my Class 4/4GB Sd card. Any help? Because RAM will increase my game's performance by far.
STAY ON TOPIC - Xperia E1, Opinions on the phone, release date, leaked secrets about it, will it be on this forum???

No offense dude, but you should never mention the E1 in this section of xda... Makes us lament our decisions (and hate Sony even more)
EDIT : I will answer your question about RAM though.
An SD card is MUCH MUCH slower than RAM. AFAIK, RAM is the fastest memory of any machine.
So even if you do use the SD card, it will be extremely slow.
That slow.

HIT THE THANKS BUTTON IF I WAS OF ANY HELP

The E1.... is a crap phone in its range and should be avoided at all costs. In it's range, we've got the Xperia M, Galaxy S Duos 2, and (after some stretching of the budget) the Moto G. You seriously think anybody would want this thing? The prices introduced in Germany are (from amazon.de) EUR 144. This is roughly equal to Rs. 12k, the price of an Xperia M. An S Duos 2 comes for Rs. 11k.
Note that the price is for Germany - looking at India's economy, I think it won't be released for less than 13k.

Ohh...
Sorry I was going for Xperia m as my summer choice anyway...

Xperia E1 might go to the Xperia L, Xperia M sections too. Maybe its a Semi-Tamsui (if you know what I mean) like the Xperia E itself.

the xe1 is a class for it self ... i mean it comes with a completely new chipset (qct s400; 2x1,2ghz cortex a7+adreno 302) ... and dunno but it comes without front cam ?!
and btw xperia m/l comes with qct snapdragon s4 plus and this means that they have a better gpu (i think so),so when you like music more than play games or something buy e1,for performance i would definitely choose m/l cause of cortex a9 cores and andreno 305.

E1 firmwares and other stuff wont work for E ......so i dont care even a bit for E1
and the ram swaping damages memory card if used for a long time ,,,life of the card decreases

This is a very cool phone, the case is just a little thick.

Damn Cool
I love the Xperia E1: It looks awesome (really similar to the Xperia Z1 Compact), it has the Walkman button and it has Android 4.3 .
And from the first Russian hands-on it seems that the display is really bright and colorful, and it seems very fast
P.S : The price in Italy is 119 euros, so who has Miro, Tipo and E can switch to it without spending a lot of money
P.P.S: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBhjpTLsUK8 New hands on of E1

just bought e1 dual today... at rm499 + free 8gb microsd, its way better than my older tipo single. and i still cant root it, yet. now trying to update to the newest software version. other than the loud 100db speaker, i would say it win over tipo because: bigger screen resolution, a litter faster chip, and louder speaker. other than that, everything is copied over.

i didnt have those games yet. maybe tonight i try to get asphalt 8. weird, antutu seems to crash whenever it reaches the graphics test (the screen with those fishes swimming). still no way to root it, yet. testing the e1dual with raging thunder 2, it runs smoothly, way better than tipo (better graphics, maybe?)
Update:
No asphalt 8 for e1d today. no wifi, h+ on maxis? too expensive for me... Suggestions?

Can anyone get a System Dump of E1 for me
Thanks

Open the .ftf with WinRar and extract system.sin. In Flashtool go to tools>sin editor and extract system.sin. You will get a system.ext4 file(Linux archive file). Use any Linux archiver to extract the folders in the system.ext4 file.
For the ramdisk you can use this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1262656
You just need to extract the kernel.sin from the .ftf and follow the instructions. If you do not have Linux, Cywgin with perl installed should do.
Hope that helps

sorry to let you know guys, but no dual-core from qualcomm supports dual-sim, only msm7227/ arm v6 & /a arm v7 supports, which are not at par
also i highly doubt if its a broadcomm dual core with power vr530/35 which is on most china phones, but i cant be sure , just adding my opinion
also the 512mb. is not good, seeing its gonna updated to ics & got a dual core may be qualcomm/broadcomm, as games & other stuff will strugle for performance due to lacking ram, same issues can be seen with optimus 2x & xperia play (sony not updating it to ics because games wont works well on ics + 512MB. ram) & you can also check playing mass effect inifilator on ics + on gb. & see the difference, it will crash after some time on bonus levels (the culprit is low ram)
,gonna buy it if it got 1GB. ram
+ no complain for wvga, we can use lower dpi as it got bigger screen,
m' gonna pay upto 17k if it got real s3/s4 qualcomm soc + 1GB. ram
yes, even Spice MI-425 also has msm7227 and adreno 200 so we need to see the specs of this MI-500 very closely.

Yeah 512 RAM is definitely a bummer....but launch is still a month away...maybe final specs are different...
Lets watch...
And 480x800/850 262K colors for a 5" screen(my guess)
I do expect atleast a 16m colors atleast for same resolution.
They could increase the price for a 720p screen and win the market...
For me the bummer are:
- 512 mb ram still (atleast increase by 256 to 768 mb)
- Still 5.0 MP cam
Not sure about the screen res as of now but definitely 840X480 could be OK if the color supported are 16M as its the same case with my Archos Tablet whose screen is quite crisp.

hi
this looks intresting may be ill wait for some time and then upgrade
i did fall in love with the HTC one X but it was t costly for me
but this looks ok for me thanks guys for the info
The Mobile Indian has put up a first look, looks like a Chinese variant being shown off.
The link
From the looks of it, looks like 480x800, 262k (not 16M) or my eyes deceive me
after one year spice mi 410 got its competitor in terms of spec and price.
this is just vfm.
guys have a look on it, its horizon (MI 500)

hi
one thing for sure they are improving the looks now with the new range
screen in poor maybe 16m colour, but colours are warm similar to mi-410
also no led for camera(@ p5
but @page 1-2 they say it got a led flash
+ (doubt starts here) www.themobileindian.com/news/6935_First-Look-Spice-Stellar-Horizon_3
" Spice has used the same Snapdragon
processor as in the Mi-425, but a slightly
bigger 300 MHz GPU to tackle the extra load
from the larger screen.
Spice Stellar Horizon has a 4 GB internal
memory as well as 512 MB RAM which will also
aide its performance (Internal memory enables
faster performance)."
this site is one of the poorest reviewers
1. they say it got dual core on page 1 but on 3 they say it got same chip as mi 425
2. they say gpu @300 compared to mi 425, to cope with large screen, now how will it help as resolution is same i think wvga for both, 4" 5" dont matters, also as far i know on orig. htc desire adreno 200 was clocked at 92-108mhz. + doing 720p vid. rec. + play at highest, and if its adreno 200 as parkhi say & m conc. for dual sim thing, such higher oc' is not possible for old chip by 200% without liquid nitrogen cooler
+ if its really got a dual core, then it must have hd video rec. atleast 720p or something
3. + they say 4gb. int. mem. with 512mb. ram will help stability, now how int. mem. had to do anything with ram
any the themed rom looks cool with sauve hd icons
they are whole bunch of noobs, the indian mobile guys
spice had already used confusing adv. earliar also they said mi 270 dual core (cpu + gsm radio cpu for dual sim spp) & dedicated gpu @333 but there wasnt any gpu, some said the other radio cpu is gpu, i bought mi-410 becuase i know it was a ideos x6 variant but latter i knew it was foxconn and now we got no official support or anything, so i wont go for spice again>> this ome game is not good,
my next mobile-
sony> htc > huawei> ome > samsung
good bye friends m' getting myself a new phone next month, maybe a evo 3d so i wont be frequent to this forum
good bye guys, thanks for everything
i will still own this phone till it get sold
Nitin even I'm thinking of selling this but why Samsung is last in your list and is Huawei better than Samsung, What is OME?
Thanks
hi
the Bad part is even though Spice has so many showroom at least in Bangalore they do have quite a lot. They dont promote their own Mobiles in their show room
just walk in to any show room and u will have to ask for their own brand to get info on the same very sad in deed. if this was my show room and my Brand the 1st thing i would do is start seriously promoting my Mobiles
at least show it to every customer who walks in .I just dont understand why Spice does not do it

I think you are talking about Spice HotSpots and they know that what they sell is just chinese re-branded and nothing of high quality and the showrooms doesn't run on these goods, they advertise HTC and Samsung.
the policy is same even on saholic (their official online store)

I tried both. The 920 is good but the system (Windows Mobile) it's running on is a complete disaster (Lack of apps, ugly UI, etc). It's build and design is also nothing less than pathetic in comparison to the Z. You won't notice a big difference in the pixel density unless you put your eyes very close to the display but I would still side with the Z because if a dead pixel arises, it will much harder to notice it on the Z, since its display is much more densely packed with them. The processor is also superior on the Z but what the 920 has, will suffice for most tasks aside from the newest and latest games (Once again, the Z wins here because it's more future-proof).
On a side notice, could you try to write nicer next time, the use of shorthand is annoying.

quad and dual are very noticible.. quad can fast proccesing in apps, ofcors its quad, ull notice that on dual core. u might take catching up sometime when opening an app.. (windows phone for me not that useable by my daily basis).. im using ZL same specs in Z.. i dont have any problems with it.. my suggestion is use Z.. battery life so far not an issue anyways.. its on how you use ur phone..

Yes,as my friend using wp8 i used it for a few minutes,my observation is the the os is light, very minimal use of processing,i agree aswell, but for having quad im sure it helps fast speed, ofcors by the help of ram to take effect.. Quad integrates on multi tasking and as what i say,ram is there to help.. And it boils to what you comfortably using.. Lets keep this thread very useful. On some other threads comparing etc. Is been lockdown..

that this is : If iam not a gamer or care alot about heavy 3d games....Lumia 920 would match me more, right?
I mean camera...speakers....even display (bravia engine is only on in photos and vids while HD+ and pure motion r always on)
oh btw....after the buttons bar (the grey one) how large the screen is?4.8 inchs or what?
Thanks in advance

First of all let's compare both phones in spec.
You can check it here for more info: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4967&idPhone2=5204
But the most important features.
Screen:
Lumia 920: HD 1280x768 4.5" 332 ppi
Xperia Z: FULL HD 1920x0180 5" 441 ppi
There is quite a difference between full hd and hd also the ppi are much higher in the XZ, so the pictures/full hd videos will look much crisp on the XZ.
Weight
L920: 185 g (6.53 oz)
XZ: 146 g (5.15 oz)
The L920 is heavy, 40g more than the XZ. You will notice that
Memory / Storage
L920: 1Gb RAM / 32GB No sd-card slot
XZ: 2Gb Ram / 16GB Sd card slot
Ram depends on the OS and the usage. Storage is bigger on the L920 by default but no option to increase the storage.
Bluetooth
L920: 3.2
XZ: 4.0
If you use bluetooth a lot the 4.0 protocol is much reliable.
Camera:
L920: 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, autofocus, dual-LED flash
XZ: 13.1 MP, 4128x3096 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
If I'm not wrong, L920 camera is much better in low light condition and in general terms.
OS
L920: Microsoft Windows Phone 8
XZ: Android OS, v4.1.2
Android has much more apps than WP8 in the market, the customization of android is endless (you can access file system, modify the whole rom, kernel) rather than in the wp8 is much more limited.
CPU / GPU
L920: Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait / Adreno 225
XZ: Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait /Adreno 320
Depends on OS and usage. Quad-core much faster than Dual-core.
Radio
L920 No
XZ: Stereo FM radio with RDS
If you need Radio FM, it's a no brainer. XZ has it, L920 doesn't. Obviously there is always Internet Radio that works using data mobile.
Battery:
L920: 2000mAh
XZ: 2330mAh
Price (SIM free):
L920: £399 Carphone Warehouse
XZ: £489 Carphone Warehouse
L920 is cheaper
Around the same battery life.
Right, now. Ask yourself this questions.
What are you going to use the phone for?
What is your budget?
Do you use app intensive taks? Playing heavy CPU/GPU intensive games?
Do you find useful the Water/Dust resistance on the XZ, (ie it's protected from rain, failing into water by accident)?

First of all, let me thank u 4 ur effort
secondly:about screen being Crisp or so...i heard that naked eye cant differentiate between both as if its higher than 300 PPI its almost the same
Iam not keen on gaming or so i will buy it mainly for reading e-books,taking pics and watching vids(not that much even)
About Water resistant....iam from a dry country...No rains for 3-4 years actually so it doesnt matter 4 me

Take into account that appart from the DPI, one is HD (720p) and the other is Full-HD (1080p), there is a difference between them. You will notice it while browsing a website and zooming to read, it will be much sharp in the XZ.
If you are going to read e-book you will find it more easier in a bigger screen, 5" vs 4.5" is quite a difference in screen size.
At the end of the day is a matter of preference, Android vs WP8. Right now I think Android is a better OS in terms of app and support. Also XZ has the technological advantage compared to the L920. For the price of both I would go for the XZ, personally. As someone said before, XZ is more future-proof, a Dual core and 720p is getting obsolete and 1gb ram is quite low imho. If you are not convinced with the XZ, there are other options: Samsung, HTC, LG.
The best thing to do is go to a shop and hold both at the same time, try most of the features and go for the one your guts tells you.
If I helped you, you could press the thanks button

After settling for 5 inch phone, I would never go for anything below it. I have seen the Optimus g is person . It's quite nice. If I'm not wrong the specs of Optimus g and xperia z is almost the same s4 pro quad core with 2 gb ram. Except it's not full hd like the xz and at a lower ppi 318 vs xz's 441. And no ip55/57 rating. The screen looks nice but I haven't tried reading on it. I just watch a video playback.

I had them both in my hand , my friend's LG and a co-worker had the Xperia... Personally I ordered the Xperia Z and waiting for it. It's much more solid built and I believe strongly in Sony , not to be the fanboy but ask around and everyone will tell you that LG will never be competion to Sony unless you want to spend less !!!

[Q] Question To The Developers About The RAM

When I look at the XSP device info, the ram size 766 mb even though the phone is 1 gb
compared with another 1 gb ram phone, in the device info it says 971 mb, so that results in about 200 mb free extra memory in the second phone
I searched a lot and couldn't find anything about this.
Is there a way to make the Xperia SP show 900+ mb?
before anyone says that its system reserved, how come the second phone has a much smaller reserved value?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second phone is Tengda T94 (chinese phone) the multitasking difference in the XSP cannot be compared to the T94, the T94 is so much better
its very frustrating to look around for a solution for a 1 gb ram phone! to get better multitasking!!! i feel like im looking for a solution for an entry android device. i love this phone i wish i can find a way to get better multitasking as its an important basic smartphone feature
I think its just bad ram management. My SP on CM10.2 works without problems
Shows about 841 mb (total)
Sony Software can't do this!

It is something to do with the kernel I think
Sent from my C5303 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
there is nothing u could do in stock ROM unless u greenify everything + remove every bloatwares
but theres nothing wrong with the running ram, just let it filled... android is different alot than PC, in android the RAM is used to be filled, its normal... i remember some XDA members said that "unused ram is a wasted ram"
MAYBE, sony intented to do that to limit the apps prosessing
im not a developer and i dont understand why the 2 phones i mentioned both 1 gb ram and 1 show quarter missing , can anyone at least explain to us why does such a thing exist, ive been looking everywhere online but i couldnt find an answer! is it really that hard to answer?

well i found the answer, this 250 mb of ram that is hidden is reserved for the gpu as i read on some article.
and there could be a way to amend that a little bit through some kernel.
im now disappointed and thinking about replacing this phone as multitasking is very poor and its a basic feature of a smart phone.
its strange to see a chinese phone that is 110 usd faster with better multitasking and even the screen quality and gaming is better! why cant a top company like sony do something to give access to the 1 gb ram which is very needed for basic use

don't think more Ram will get you faster, new chips it is ..( bigger Cpu Cache, bigger GPU, Dual channel memory )
sony need those 200mb for gpu, because it's a multimedia hd phone and gaming phone ( 320 gpu like xz :fingers-crossed: )...so you get hd movie recorder , hd games, even you can trow this to hd tv ...
i have this $200 chinnese quadcore with msm8225 , 203 gpu,1Gb ram ... and i believe xsp faster than this chinnese quadcore
and this phone don't have NFC, can't play full hd movie, lags on hd games, can't record full hd movie, no os update, and the list will go on ...
antutu about 13k on this chip, on quadcore mediatek chip about 16k, xsp about 21k ... you tell me who is the fastest ...
so, don't bother what is show on bench, user experience is...

Please no more chinese phone jokes,
unless you found one with a Snapdragon 600/800 etc, the GPU performance is in those 110 USD chinese "Super phones" is very poor.
Not even comparable to the Adreno 225 let alone 320.
regards
Haha,my friend has a sgs4 and that has 2gb ram and 1.81 user accesible. At times his phone has 700-900 mb free...so dont complain
Phone is very good. And i honestly believe that another 100-150 MB of ram wouldnt make any difference...They would in my previous xperia X8 which had 27MB free ram all the time...But when you have 350+ free as i do now, being 500 wont change a thing.
With 250 EUR i got a phone with almost the performance of xpZ (yeah cause of 720 screen but its ok for me ) that wont slow down on everything you throw at it.So dont complain about the little missing RAM which as said is not wasted but is being used but for the GPU.:good:

Little expert Help!

First greeting to everyone !
This may not be a problem but I have to ask because it is a very mixed emotions regarding software upgrades on Sony Xperia Z namely what it is.
I currently have on my Xperia Z stock software J.B 4.1 my qestion and care is next:
If I'm update my phone to KitKat 4.4
How mutch ram memory using KitKat is it use more or less ram memory from J.B refers to
the normal operation of the phone?
(now under J.B my phone spending 1GB of ram i hope KitKat using less ram)!
And second question is refers to the heating device if heated more or less playing or working?(now my phone have solid heat when im gaming and not eny heat when i working browzing and other stuff)
Now that you know about what is dilema and would any help welcome
I hope that some of you have already upgraded the software on Xperia Z and I can say firsthand some professional things about my questions!
Thanks in advice
And here we go again... What is people's obsession with having oodles of free ram....?
Also, this should probably be in Q&A section.

Calm down bro
resource wise KK is lighter than JB (in vanilla android atleast)
Ram usage will depend on what applications are running in the background
The reason why your phone is heating up while gaming is because it will put strain on both CPU and GPU, it will be the same if you use KK also
Many people have issue with battery life in KK.
I actually find the ram usage on JB is less than KitKat and the device temperature is the same on all android version for me

Free RAM is wasted RAM. There is no point in obsessing about how much free RAM you have at any one time, unless a poorly coded app has a memory leak or something. Android will automatically free some RAM if it's needed in normal usage.
There is no problem with the RAM management in the stock KitKat rom, so it's safe to upgrade.

Hi,
I have 1Gb of Free Ram on KK.
I think you must alteast update to 4.3 or 4.2.2 if you want to be on JB
as 4.2.2 provies bugs update and also better temp managemant which will reduce your heating.
and 4.3 provied better fast and smooth UI and less of lags and more free RAm.

LOL. It seems many people are still ingrained in the old ways of Windows, where RAM management was awful and have a need to see a lot of free RAM when they check.
There is no need to ever check in a normally functioning Android/Linux OS. The only time I ever see how much RAM is in use is if I have to enter the "Apps" section of the settings for some other reason.

** war, You take the full responsibility of your actions
**
Update July 31, 2018
This thread is marked as discontinued. This means that It won't be updated so don't bother asking and I will not publish any more posts here or contribute to the general discussion. However, I might add files from time to time if necessary.
How it works
The default thermal cooling mechanism on Sony flagships isn't very efficient. This MOD basically starts throttling the frequencies gradually at certain optimal temperatures allowing the device to cool-down faster while maintaning a good performance.
Main advantages
- Improved overall performance
- Less heat & faster cool down
- Maintain a consistent performance for extended periods of time
- Prolonged camera usage, video recording
- Suitable for daily usage & gaming
Compatibility
Code:

Performance Benchmarks (Attached below)
OUTDATED
I know It's a phone not a PC but it's an accurate way to see how well we can handle stress
The following tests are done at room temperature on Xperia Z5 E6653 using the following set-up :
- RR ROM
- Kernel by @zacharias.maladroit NovaCore_I.1_n_1_10_C_1_6_3
Two consecutive tests each time are done with no delay between for : Stock thermal engine, FSC, FSC+
More tests for stock ROM/KERNEL can be found HERE
Instructions
- Flash the zip
- Reboot and enjoy
Extras
- Use a more reliable kernel, for LOS,Carbon,RR,crDroid I recommend latest by @zacharias.maladroit
I highly recommend my LKT™ Mod .. very smooth and battery friendly on Z5

One question, why did u remove GPU control from emmc therm 0? This doesn't seem a very good idea to me, because from my testing it seems the GPU is generating the most heat.
I have made a thermal mod too, a while ago. Look it up, it's somewhere on XDA (too lazy to search, lol)
I'll keep an eye on this interesting project.
Regards.

Thanks for passing by , I did not remove GPU control give [emmc_therm__2.DEFAULT] a look.
I kept values as close to stock .. Actually decreased frequencies from 630 to 510 in temp range 48900 - 53200
I kept them as close to stock because main focus is the cpu for current version
I'll see what I can do further with GPU tweaking in next versions
Just re-uploaded FSC+ and the stock restoration zip (fixed a small issue with the zip)

EDIT : New version is up please re-download I'm certain everyone will love it .. enjoy
Now using a very friendly and balanced GPU scaling based on nexus 6p nougat thermal engine
Great job there, stock z5 is terrible in performance terms really so mods are apreciated. Thanks!!!
Gpu is responsible for overheting in my opinion allso, it surges in terms of heat when under load and then all throttles down cause of it.
I still managed to get somewhat similar results with settings that worked for me till now (disabled qualcom core control) modified thermal.config (not my work).
Staring temperature prior to test:
52 cpu. 56 gpu. 41,7 batt
Geek Bench 411
first run
1442 single core
3407 multi core
Second run
1361 single core
3270 multicore
3D MARK (very demanding test)
Slingshot extreme test start from cold device scored 1883
Slingshot extreme test imediate second run scored 1770
End temperature after tests:
59 cpu. 64 gpu. 46,2 batt
I use .5.11 rooted stock
---------- Post added at 01:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:56 AM ----------
Could be possible to contain gpu very low somehow so it does not produce excessive heat, so cpu can be maintained at higher frequ?
I use kernel aduitor but it seems i cannot control gpu temp. Like i would really like it to.

Please remember that this MOD IS NOT INTENDED FOR HARDCORE GAMING/CRUSHING PERFORMANCE LIMITS (even though can handle it) but rather to give more balance and satisfy everyone, here's is a quick 3D Mark test for both stock and FSC 1.1 (2 runs each)
Heat handling obviously improved since score dropped by less than- 100 point compared to -400 on default engine and all that time temperature always stayed below 42 unlike stock .. I'm not really into pushing the GPU since it's not that powerful and overheat fast but I'll see what I can do more for further optimization if needed .
Awesome mods, Seems very potential. I'm testing and will share my experience soon.
Thanks a bunch, mr. @korom42
Interesting... Would this mod work on non-stock rom (crDroid) ?

I uploaded original file and my modified file (based on carbon ROM, but almost the same as stock Sony) to show u the changes I made.
Take a look and feel free to use the GPU values as a comparison.
Im getting very good results with these values.
Regards.
What to difference between [MOD] FSC Thermal Engine 1.1.zip with [MOD] FSC+Thermal Engine 1.1.zip file?
I'm keen to try this on my Moto X force/ space heater.
What exactly does this change? As it's been designed for the Sony I just want to know it's not likely to hard brick the device (soft brick is fine, I can reflash if it all goes wrong).
Thanks for developing this anyway

You can give it a try, just backup thermal-engine.conf file found in \system\etc.
FSC+ is recommended, to make sure that it's working open kernel auditor and look for unused frequencies history at the bottom for big you have find 1824 and 1958 (at least) and 1555Mhz (at least) for small cores, if not restore your original thermal-engine.conf because it's not working and share it here if you interested I may tweak a version for your device when I'm free .
Do I need to turn on these settings on EX kernel manager to take advantage of your mod?

Thanks; I'll give it a go and feed back. It might be a few days until I get the opportunity.
Anybody tested this on Marshmallow?
Anyone tested camera after installing this mode? Looks buggy for me on stock 7.1.1 FW

sry for asking that question, but how do you apply that mod? can you post a guide for that? ^^' i really want to try that mod, because of the heating problems

tested on Xperia Z5 7.1.1, Camera feels laggy / stuttering, however great effort; heat is definitely controlled. hope we fix the camera issue also feels laggy if running multiple apps such as facebook, chrome, etc.
xperia z5 android 7.0.0
bleibt beim sony logo mit dem weißen bildschirm stehen.
leider kein erfolg, habe das handy mittlerweile 5 mal neu geflasht....
laut twrp erfolgreich, chache auch geleert, dann dead.
