Update July 31, 2018
This thread is marked as discontinued. This means that It won't be updated so don't bother asking and I will not publish any more posts here or contribute to the general discussion. However, I might add files from time to time if necessary.
How it works
The default thermal cooling mechanism on Sony flagships isn't very efficient. This MOD basically starts throttling the frequencies gradually at certain optimal temperatures allowing the device to cool-down faster while maintaning a good performance.
Main advantages
- Improved overall performance
- Less heat & faster cool down
- Maintain a consistent performance for extended periods of time
- Prolonged camera usage, video recording
- Suitable for daily usage & gaming
Compatibility
Code:
- Xperia Z3+ Z4 Z5 (All variants)

OUTDATED
I know It's a phone not a PC but it's an accurate way to see how well we can handle stress
The following tests are done at room temperature on Xperia Z5 E6653 using the following set-up :
- RR ROM
- Kernel by @zacharias.maladroit NovaCore_I.1_n_1_10_C_1_6_3
Two consecutive tests each time are done with no delay between for : Stock thermal engine, FSC, FSC+
More tests for stock ROM/KERNEL can be found HERE

Instructions
- Flash the zip
- Reboot and enjoy
Extras
- Use a more reliable kernel, for LOS,Carbon,RR,crDroid I recommend latest by @zacharias.maladroit
I highly recommend my LKT™ Mod .. very smooth and battery friendly on Z5

One question, why did u remove GPU control from emmc therm 0? This doesn't seem a very good idea to me, because from my testing it seems the GPU is generating the most heat.
I have made a thermal mod too, a while ago. Look it up, it's somewhere on XDA (too lazy to search, lol)
I'll keep an eye on this interesting project.
Regards.

Thanks for passing by , I did not remove GPU control give [emmc_therm__2.DEFAULT] a look.
I kept values as close to stock .. Actually decreased frequencies from 630 to 510 in temp range 48900 - 53200
I kept them as close to stock because main focus is the cpu for current version
I'll see what I can do further with GPU tweaking in next versions
Just re-uploaded FSC+ and the stock restoration zip (fixed a small issue with the zip)

EDIT : New version is up please re-download I'm certain everyone will love it .. enjoy
Now using a very friendly and balanced GPU scaling based on nexus 6p nougat thermal engine

Great job there, stock z5 is terrible in performance terms really so mods are apreciated. Thanks!!!
Gpu is responsible for overheting in my opinion allso, it surges in terms of heat when under load and then all throttles down cause of it.
I still managed to get somewhat similar results with settings that worked for me till now (disabled qualcom core control) modified thermal.config (not my work).
Staring temperature prior to test:
52 cpu. 56 gpu. 41,7 batt
Geek Bench 411
first run
1442 single core
3407 multi core
Second run
1361 single core
3270 multicore
3D MARK (very demanding test)
Slingshot extreme test start from cold device scored 1883
Slingshot extreme test imediate second run scored 1770
End temperature after tests:
59 cpu. 64 gpu. 46,2 batt
I use .5.11 rooted stock
---------- Post added at 01:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:56 AM ----------
Could be possible to contain gpu very low somehow so it does not produce excessive heat, so cpu can be maintained at higher frequ?
I use kernel aduitor but it seems i cannot control gpu temp. Like i would really like it to.

Please remember that this MOD IS NOT INTENDED FOR HARDCORE GAMING/CRUSHING PERFORMANCE LIMITS (even though can handle it) but rather to give more balance and satisfy everyone, here's is a quick 3D Mark test for both stock and FSC 1.1 (2 runs each)
Heat handling obviously improved since score dropped by less than- 100 point compared to -400 on default engine and all that time temperature always stayed below 42 unlike stock .. I'm not really into pushing the GPU since it's not that powerful and overheat fast but I'll see what I can do more for further optimization if needed .

Awesome mods, Seems very potential. I'm testing and will share my experience soon.
Thanks a bunch, mr. @korom42

Interesting... Would this mod work on non-stock rom (crDroid) ?

I uploaded original file and my modified file (based on carbon ROM, but almost the same as stock Sony) to show u the changes I made.
Take a look and feel free to use the GPU values as a comparison.
Im getting very good results with these values.
Regards.

What to difference between [MOD] FSC Thermal Engine 1.1.zip with [MOD] FSC+Thermal Engine 1.1.zip file?

I'm keen to try this on my Moto X force/ space heater.
What exactly does this change? As it's been designed for the Sony I just want to know it's not likely to hard brick the device (soft brick is fine, I can reflash if it all goes wrong).
Thanks for developing this anyway

You can give it a try, just backup thermal-engine.conf file found in \system\etc.
FSC+ is recommended, to make sure that it's working open kernel auditor and look for unused frequencies history at the bottom for big you have find 1824 and 1958 (at least) and 1555Mhz (at least) for small cores, if not restore your original thermal-engine.conf because it's not working and share it here if you interested I may tweak a version for your device when I'm free .

Do I need to turn on these settings on EX kernel manager to take advantage of your mod?

tested on Xperia Z5 7.1.1, Camera feels laggy / stuttering, however great effort; heat is definitely controlled. hope we fix the camera issue also feels laggy if running multiple apps such as facebook, chrome, etc.

bleibt beim sony logo mit dem weißen bildschirm stehen.
leider kein erfolg, habe das handy mittlerweile 5 mal neu geflasht....
laut twrp erfolgreich, chache auch geleert, dann dead.

Mod edit due to ignorance & immaturity. This thread is closed until it can be reviewed & further action can be taken. I know this affects users, and I am sorry for that, but you never see me bad mouthing anyone on the forum, but when you keep running your mouth & repeatedly have issues, you obviously are looking for a long term ban. BTW, if anyone has any evidence of me doing anything wrong, ANYTHING, forward it to MikeChannon or the Administrator. We have logs & I am confident & deliberate in all my actions. Not to mention, Synergye is the only person I can remember ever having to ban.
Are you ready to be KangBanged? The NEW git for the kernel is here: HERE

Guide/Troubleshooting:
IF you run into video/music issues, your ROM is using too old of libs. Bug your ROM dev to update to latest CodeAuroraForum libs.
Before any issue will be diagnosed, Please wipe dalvik cache, and disable any app that sets scheduler or cpu frequencies.
Run Ondemand up to 1.8ghz. Above 1.8ghz scaling may make it unstable
If your device is limited at a higher clock, then it cannot handle the voltage required and the regulator is reporting an unstable voltage. THIS IS GOOD.
TO RUN 2GHZ FOR BENCHES, RUN PERFORMANCE GOV FOR BENCHES
Changelog
Look on Git until I re-do changelogs (were accidentally lost, and I just started over but got it all back up to speed (and them some) quickly.

Nice! I will be maintaining the rootz thread mostly, but will try and get to this thread also (won't change OP or Title here at all). I'm slowly but surely switching to Qualcomm CodeAuroraForum drivers while maintaining sense compatibility for cleaner, faster code. The test kernels will also be posted in that thread. Thank you.
Edit: If you set 2.05ghz, but your phone doesn't run up to 2.05ghz, it means that your phone can't handle the voltages on one or both cores. The performance improvement is nominal nonetheless.
Updated to A11. HUGE changes. Basically quite close to a CM kernel...but functional on htc roms. Big IO increases, and a TON of driver/header changes also. Just look at git to check it out (anything that says update, means update to CodeAuroraForum AOSP variant): https://github.com/TeamCodefire/KangBanged-Kernel/commits/master
Do I have to reflash a rom after? Because I dont really want to do that. If I HAVE to i will. Thanks

Thanks man! Also, it should go without saying that in general the source is a huge Work In Progress. None of those commits are really ready to be cherry-picked yet. If nothing booting comes of it tonight, then I'll fix the voltage spam, and tinyrcu and just rebase/cherry-pick it into a new branch and have a WIP branch for the CAF rebasing.
You had me at spam.

A11has some stability issues in sleep. Edit: A12 now up
Edit: A quick note: I will never include insane gpu OC, due to GPU OC doing very little in benchmarks. On a good kernel, there is no usability increase for our devices, and it barely helps in benches. Been asked a few times for insane gpu oc's, and for now the answer is no.

I'll just have a separate zip soon. I could include in kernel zip, but I only want kernel to be flashed alone, and don't like the idea of a kernel modifying rom at all like another kernel on this forum does. Would prefer HTC rom cookers to just be diligent.

I love the fact the vivid can reach theoretical speed of up to 2ghz now, but I don't know of what application besides a benchmark app, game emulator or a heavy 3d game that it would be useful for. Battery gets eaten horribly but I like the concept a lot. May come in handy soon....
Running a test using a fully charged 1800 mah battery, don't think shadowgun can get any smoother than this. Will be following.
Working on a potential backtrack linux port in its infancy, hey it had to be done, this kernel just might be for what I'm looking for.

PM me, I've been working on porting debian. There's better kernel source for it.
Edit: or join #htc-holiday on irc and ping me or my cloud accuont if I'm not on.
Edit2: it would seem the vivid should be capable of 2.5GHz theoretically.

Will do, don't think the vivids pipes can sustain 2.5 GHz without complete thermal meltdown. What I'm looking for is a governor that behaves like Intel's c1 CPU state, not a gradual declination of cpu speeds, something that works like on demand, but increases only between four to five different speeds at the most stable known voltages. Even a toaster can run linux, but the CPU doesn't have to be at 2ghz all the time, only for those "special" calculations.

Believe me I understand that, and it's quite easy to set up something like that with interactive, or even by modifying ondemand. The issue is heat throttling with 2GHz stable.
In any case,
New Beta1-Test1 uploaded from totally re-doing kernel from closer to the beginning(rebased and cherry-picked from my own repo). There were just too many issues I'd run into on sense, and I knew what really affected performance positively I wanted to keep. Left a lot of the driver changes (not base changes) out for now until I can do proper testing. At this point I'm close to 50 hours no sleep, so just leaving the kernels up. I'll be doing a gitlog off the master branch, and separating for the build changelogs. Look at git (new default branch) if you really want to see what all's been done, or look at master to get a sense of what was done recently for A14
I was able to finally able to clean it up enough to use the linaro 4.7 o3 flag
AR15 uploaded (changed naming scheme from Alpha to Alpha Release). More stable than beta1-test1, lots of issues from A14 and earlier fixed in this re-tooling. Fast charge added back *properly* this time. PLEASE wipe dalvik cache after flash for good battery life. Battery usage should be the same as dumpsta's screenshot in this release.
Enjoy!
Edit: okay, this one only works on rom ports also. Goddammit HTC, learn to ****ing standardize your compilations a bit!
There as to be a way to get xz compression to work. EVO was stock gzip just like vivid I believe. Xz also works on sensation which is stock gzip. Ive been trying to wrap my head around it.
I can compile with -O3 but the zimage is to big :/ turning everything possible into modules first help on size either sadly.

Well, I decided to drop support for any holiday based rom. No reason not to use coredroid port, virtuous, or another rom base from another device. HTC ****ed us and we can't use new adreno libs, ksm, new video/media/gpu kernel drivers or xz compression on this base.
I don't want to let a ****ty rom base slow down kernel development.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Q) My Bootloader Is Locked But Can I Try This Without Unlocking?
A) No. Flash this Only if you are on UBL.
Q)I'm On Locked Bootloader Please Help Me Unlock My Bootloader/Root My Phone
A) Please don't ask such questions in this thread. THere are many other threads in General Section Which Can help You.
Q) Can I dirty flash build X over Build Y?
A)(X&Y being both AICP Official Nightlies) If you want to, you may. But Report Bugs Only If You Have Clean Flashed.
Q)"ROM feels laggy after a few days of usage. Please Help Me"
A)
Go to your build.prop. At the end add these lines
dalvik.vm.image-dex2oat-filter=everything
dalvik.vm.dex2oat-filter=everything
Then Go To recovery and wipe cache/dalvik cache (don't skip this step or it won't work!!!!)
basically it makes ART compile more stuff than just the usual apps. it optimises many things.
Downside of this is a slightly longer booting time (AICP Had This Before but has now been removed)
Q) " Help!!! Can't flash anything because of ugly Cyanogen Recovery"
A) Go download Rashr from playstore and flash philz from that app or search for a TWRP Image and flash it with Rashr
Q)FM Transmitter range is very less.
A)Take your standard headphones/earphones/whatever you call it and insert it halfway into the headphone jack. Not completely, just halfway so that the phone doesn't recognise the earpods. Then transmitter range will be improved.
Q)You call it nightlies, yet an update doesn't come on a night to night basis
A) Nightlies for huashan are built in every 36-48 hours gap on the build server
Q)I want to have a lollipop xperia styled AICP
A) Install XperiaPOP Z4 Theme, [if you want you can download some more wallpapers from the link at my signatture] then search for ibanez 7 sony apps port for cm12 and install your choiced apps and enjoy a near to sony experience.
Note: This is what I do, if you have a better setup, please do share and I'll update it here
Q) How do I know when AICP for huashan is going to be built?
A) Here visit this link : http://jenkins.aicp-rom.com/job/android/
Note: If any one else wants to build a cm12.1 based ROM for XSP, here is my local manifests file, feel free to download it and use it

Lagging a lot
I installed this rom 3 days back.
Initially it looked pretty nice but on installing apps and other stuff it started lagging.
Random Hanging is quite common.
is this the problem with everyone or i am the only one ?

Update.
I flashed new build (Build 3) + Tangerine v5.2 and it got worst :crying:
Now the display flickers and doesnt show the notification.
I tried to enable/disable ambient display, but it didnt work.
Anyone knows why this is heappening?
I'll keep trying to fix it.
i wondering is there any apps for xperia or any setting on this rom that make the LED light to turn on individually (like when charging only 1 led glow), i would like to set all notification to only using 1 led
also is there any way to make status bar icon (wifi, signalbar, battery icon) more narrow ?
thank you very much

only the charging is one led. led notification is always 3 bars but you can lower its brightness by setting the color of choice near black

Im a bit confused whith the auditor . i need my phone to be smooth in lag free in game ( even big games like real racing 3 ) but not that full throttle that drains battery fassst ! Need something kinda balanced i guess .
I put max frq to 1.8 gov to smart . gpu to 400 and io to zen. What els ?
If this drains battery fast then tell me two diff set up. Mid use (lght games ) and heavy performance . tnx

Unfortunately there's no option to pick individual LED's for notifications. Fortunately, as has been mentioned quite a few times before, the color of the LED's can be changed to reduce the brightness.
Do you mean reduce the icon size or the space between em? Either way don't think there's any such options in the ROM to do that but you could try some themes and pick one with statusbar icons more to your liking. Just apply the status bar part of the theme if that's all you want.
Also maybe you could check Xposed modules to see if there's one that might let you make the changes you want to though I do not know of one.

don't worry my friend t-kernel v5.2 is safe and recommended for better smoothness

So after flashing t-kernel 5.2 u need to change governor to smartassV2 and cpu to 1.8?
If I do so will the battery saving steps in post 3 work?
And ya one more thing is xposed working fine on this ROM?

you should do that

for me these settings are the best and they don't drain battery for me....for big games when you play them put the GPU governor to performance and play after you finish put it back to ondemand and to 200mhz

If you want GPU intensive games to run lag free, then you need your cpu/gpu operating near its max level and that costs battery life. On the other hand if you're gonna run these type of games with reduced cpu/gpu settings then you will get choppy performances. Can't have it both ways I am afraid.
Also everyone's phone is gonna have different battery life even with the same kernel aduitor settings depending on everything else going on on their phones. It seems like you are asking for more tweaks even before thoroughly testing out the ones you know of on your own phone.
Now if you are playing light/medium games which don't require as much cpu/gpu power and you wanna extend battery life, you can always drop your cpu/gpu clocks and change the CPU governor. Maybe something like Conservative or even Powersave(locks the CPU frequency at the lowest frequency set by the user). Also enable Multicore Power Saving. Latest kernel doesn't have undervolting option or you could have tried that.
Disable Auto brightness and reduce the brightness.
Greenify/kill background apps while playing games.

Xiaomi Mi Mix slower than most Snapdragon 821 phones ?

I have been working far too long on this phone to make it perform as all other Snapdragon 821 phones perform.
I have zero understanding as to why this thing is so much slower.
Check the Antutu Benchmark results to see what I mean, most Snapdragon 821 phones are in the top 10 devices yet the Xiaomi Mi Mix is below the 20 mark and even beaten by a few Snapdragon 820 phones.
I can tell the difference greatly with both the OnePlus 3T and the Xiaomi Mi Mix right beside each other playing the same game.
Is there any way we can somehow improve the performance on this device.
I have tried running the CPU and GPU in performance mode , disabling the Thermal throttling with Kernal Auditor , underclocking to match the OnePlus 3T's lower clock speed. The CPU temp never goes above 38 celcius so it can't be throttling.
Wiped reformatted , tried Lineage , Epic ROM , Stock , Resurrection ROM and they all still underperform and as far as I know these are all odexed.
Please if anyone has any ideas let me know I'll try anything.
you must be high, it is on par with my galaxy s8
try a custom rom, like resurrection, and u will have a op3t performance.
i feel it pretty weird tho, for example, i just have the Mi5 (not s) and 32GB (LPDDR3), and i score 149-150K on Antutu, meanwhile the 64GB+ (LPDDR4) users score like 160-165K
and i saw a Mi5S scoring near 170K too, using MIUI tho and not custom roms, meanwhile on the normal Mi5 i score a lot more in Custom than in MIUI
Anyways don't take much in mind Antutu, it is very variable
the weird thing here is, that is going slow compared to the 3T, when it shouldn't

The device runs just fine when doing day to day tasks but when trying to play CPU intensive emulators it is much slower than the OnePlus 3.
This should not be expected as the specs are the same.
I am using the same version of the emulator on both devices with the exact same settings and the OnePlus 3 is always 10% to 20% faster on every game.
That adds up almost exactly to the Antutu score difference.

I looked into the details of the Antutu scores and the failing scores are mainly attributed the 3D processing sections, if it's not hardware then it must be software right.
There's no reason for this.
The only thing I haven't tried is a custom CPU governor , software driver manipulation , removing Qualcomm MP decision.
If you have any ideas or have done any work on this let me know, there is basically no information on the internet on why a soc would perform so poorly unless it was due to poor drivers or thermal throttling.
It might be cause MIUI's temperature control, you can try to delete it.

I think 3Dmark will be better,maybe.

I too think so. When i ran Antutu(device was cool a bit); it wasnt getting full throttle because of thermal throttling although i disable it. What do you mean by 'try to delete it' though?
There is no custom kernel support on this device, somehow, nobody(devs i mean) interested in miui-kernel. The device has really bad kernel management, especially while getting charged from low percentages; feels the death. Perhaps shut down whole the cores smh.
Mi MIX
7.5.4 Épic
I think people should focus less on synthetic benchmarks and more on actual user experience... Just my two cents. The phone runs perfectly well, never encountered any sort of slowness or performance issues.
I've tried different ROMs (xiaomi.eu, epic, RR official and unofficial).
With stock MIUI (Android 6.0 based) antutu score: 145000
With stock MIUI (Android 7.0 based), RR and Epic antutu score: 160000 and over
My personal advice: don't worry too much for benchmark score, it doesn't represent the real potential of the smartphone.
I can't see differences in speed with all the ROMs. The Mi Mix works great in every condition.
My point wasn't getting a bad antutu score, the point was 'thermal throttling' trouble when device getting forced to slow down easily. Even performance governor gets no fuğk. Im checking real-time cpu and battery temperatures btw, no higher temps in case. There is no big deal tho, just getting some UI glitches in some apps makes me confused.
And the other thing while charging etc, whatever. I god dam like this device and Miui.
Mi MIX
7.5.4 Épic
There are better benchmarks than antutu... Mi mix goes.... FAST.(with little tweak)

I was able to get this removed using ES File explorer
I simply cut it from it's current location and moved it to root, the changes have been quite noticable, runs much better without it and it never gets too hot. Low battery impact here.

display overclock huh? Thats pretty interesting. I always wanted to try the Razer Phone's 120Hz display but didnt want to spend the money just to try it out. Do you think the electronics in this will go higher than 65Hz? Or is that the limit from your testing?
I will be trying out your kernel as soon as my phone gets here, but unfortunately that might be a while for the Transparent Edition :/

well depends of the quality of the panels but i think mi9 can go to 70hz

Hey Guys!
Well here is some exciting Good News the GPU OC seems working fine it improved GPU score 5K+ more on antutu benchmarks (currently 610 MHz-25 MHz more than Stock Freq) i think we can go higher but for that i will need more testers and yeah motivation too
Also Currently i have done Display OC to 65HZ to the ea8076 panel since currently i got that panel if there is others i will OC it too maybe we can go higher too this will make damn lot smoother experience
The Benchmark was Done with Governor to Performance and DIsable Fsync but keep in mind also Device is throtlled about Higher Temps ,Anyway with Hard Work we can Unleash the Beast of MI-9 and hit probably 400k+
Anyway Working Blindly Is very Hard so Keep in Mind that doing this stuff is hard without device,The fundrase campaign is Open and i appearicite every donation!,You can Donate here:

Thanks for your Support!
Lot more stuff Coming Soon!
going higher [emoji41]

I haven't even bought the mi9 (but soon will) and I already love this Kernel. Not that I am complaining, but 855 GPU is already more than strong enough (like 50% faster than the Mali in s10 exynos, and even that is more than enough for any games on playstore). I say: dont push your luck with further GPU oc (u may fry your chip ;-( and that would be bad for us all cus then no further development of this kernel ) but rather see if the CPU can go higher. If yes, then exynos won't have anything on this 855..

CPU can't be overclocked only Gpu...Anyway i'm carefully sending and testing values so no frying chips be sure

oh really? Thats very odd. Is it a matter of you cant access multipliers for the CPU(s)? And issue with the bigLittle config of the chip?
Do you have access to the base clock the whole things runs on? Maybe you could do tests with raising that which would increase the CPU cores, GPU, RAM speed, and ai cores.

Master of Speed (Click)
The T800 travels from the FUTURE to bring YOU the POWER AND BATTERY of a Galaxy S10+ to your beloved S7, while fighting obsolescence...
Version III features:
° 8 hours of battery life sustained with Aosp
9 hours of SOT
° About twice or more the speed with no Lag por shutter
° Vídeo about how to apply UV properly and recommended ROM and kernel and many extras (Such as GPU Turbo and FPS screen uncap) All of that in only 8 hours! And for free!!
This revolutionary CREATION of mine will give you the SAME optimization as Apple do with it's phones (Tremendous battery life and smoothness) But with two or three times the amount of ram, better screens twice the cores, battery ,etc. So:
HERE IS THE AWESOME SPEED YOU CAN SPECT:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6kolVhdtl3M&feature=youtu.be
AND HERE IS A BENCHMARK WHERE YOU CAN SEE TEMPERATURES OF 20 OR MORE DEGREES LESS THAN STOCK ROM, WHILE SAVING BATTERY
https://youtu.be/9DOjie9QFb4
"65% of charge in 30 minutes full charge achieved in less than a hour..." With Aosp only
Q: Why does the manufactures do this bad on stock on purpose?
Two things, MARKETING and PROGRAMMED OBSOLESCENCE which lead them to even put 10 core when a Apple device with two high power cores (Iphone 7 plus) eats it (Mediatek 10 core setup)
Q: What kind of results will i experiment?
With LATEST LINEAGE 16 + Morokernel + this AWESOME PROFILE and with a non-degraded battery you will experience the performance of a Samsung Galaxy S10 with the battery life (and also charging speed, if you have a QC 3.0 charger... of the Latest huawei/honor phones (8 hours SOT, 65% in 30 min) feeling the ui completely lag free, the apps opens right at the moment, and scrolling is like butter. Also runs very very well like a SD 855
So i upload you the profile, you will need the following:
Morokernel installed
Mtweaks latest
Download the latest LAG_TERMINATOR™
Open Mtweaks menu and select "profiles" then import the latest "LAG_TERMINATOR™" profile of mine.
APPLY THIS SETTINGS ON BOOT AND YOU ARE DONE. Vídeo settings:
https://youtu.be/CYIRS8nc0Lc
You have to apply this settings on Mtweaks to Morokernel and you are Done. You can also flash the attached zip's to uncap 60fps in all the system animations and GPU turbo for more gaming/phone normal use performance.
1Morokernel and mtweaks download (all in 1 flashable zip) (Works on aosp and TW roms) https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=295574

Hi! touching my phone and having common sense let me know that the Exynos GPU and the low power cores/high power cores have a little nonsense regarding to STOCK thermal and CPU/GPU freq/usage, so, i change between low power cores to high power cores at 50% it's minimum frequences and let the system to use ONLY the high power cores, heavy underclocked, since our phone have thermal copper plate to avoid high temperatures there should be no problem.
But the MORE INTERESTING part of it, it's that this Exynos allows to underclock a LOT among other things, except the GPU which doesn't go really well with underclocking so, when i do this mod, i was able to boost the overall system performance (daily use) like our S7 Exynos is like two or three generations after it regarding to performance! While turning on only hardcore CPU's and not the EIGHT OF THEM the phone not only runs wayyy better, but also runs VERY stable and cold, even better than stock.
Regarding battery life, the overall pack which you only have to import through "Morotweaks" you not only have a lot more benefits regarding low power consumption, but, when you use the powerfull cores ONLY at higher frequency, the Exynos is able to deep sleep more often than before... Regarding additional benefits into the battery life/heat area.
Any chance to have this profile running on thunderstorm kernel?
Thank you for sharing your work!
Thanks! Testing!
What about Reflux Kernel?

I recommend you the rom AOSIP but you can use every Aosp/Tw rom out there, even with other kernel compatible with Mtweaks/Thundertweaks but i recomend only this rom. Enjoy it.

my phone is flying now, thank u so much
not compatible with stock kernel, am i right ?
I see minimum CPU clock of big cores is locked to 1664 MHz. So no low clocks = high battery drain....
It's compatible with lineage 16 and MoRoKernel-AllInOne-CSC4-v7.0.1?

The magic of this is explained on the first post video. My S7 now feels like a ****ing S10 with better battery
Also try the latest Lineage OS!!! My friend.
You will sabe a lot of heat and battery

You can run it in EVERY KERNEL AND EVERY ROM that supports UNDERVOLTING, and you'll THEN EXPERIMENT IF YOU DO IT'S TREMENDOUS INCREASES ON BATTERY LIFE AND POWER like your phone is a galaxy S10 (but with better battery)...

It should work, you can try and tell us here the difference, if it uses UV you'll be fine. Also your battery speed charge level increases, tell us
Works great, feels very smooth but it feels very hot too! I´ve undervolt -75mw in CPU , -50mw in GPU and -56,25 in MIF-INT-DISP-CAM, what more can i do?

You only have to view the first post youtube config video, and make you s7 literally fly colder than before
There seems to be a problem with Mtweaks, so you have to copy the values by hand, pretty easy actually
Also i recommend you try latest lineage 16 for the BEST RESULTS.

for best results I think I'll wait next release cuz with bug fixes on camera hal
I installed profile, and manually edit voltages like in the video but my phone heats, on charger even more
Hello! I was excited when I found your creation, but on my hyper rom v3 with Thunderstorm kernel, the most of the values don't seem to be the same as yours (like the video you've posted).
I can relate that my S7 doesn't heat so hard while charging, but it charges slower (which is not a bad thing). Also Spectrum profiles have reduced to 2 profiles, sometimes 3 (if I toggle them fast - balanced, "battery" and Gaming), instead of 4. I tried to record my screen to show you, but I got lots of freezes lasting 5 to 10 seconds . Do I need to move to AOSP in order to get the right tweaks, or could you please rearange values for Thunderstorm kernel?
